The trio have showed their support of the BBC Charity and have appeared on a TV clip pledging people to support the charity and give donations. The charity helps disadvantaged children by providing support for them and their families, it is a great cause to get behind and we are very proud of our favourite child stars!

The wizarding sport of Quidditch is slowly but surely making its way into the muggle world. Some colleges across the United States are apart of an earthbound, Intercollegiate Quidditch Association. Harry Potter fans now have to chance to see the famous scarlet train known as the Hogwarts Express when they visit the Wizarding World Theme Park. The train just recently arrived in Orlando and put into the theme park. The train is going to be one of many items from the Harry Potter world to appear at the park. If you missed the Harry Potter Exhibition in Chicago, its not too late to see it. Harry Potter: The Exhibition is now open at the Museum of Science in Boston through February 21, 2010. Many many many props from the movies can be seen, the flying Ford Anglia, a model of Buckbeak, Tri-Wizard Cup, costumes, wands, and the list goes on.

Auditions being held for Wizarding World

Universal Studios are holding auditions on the 14th and 15th of November for the Wizarding World Theme Park.
Male Actors Able to portray age range of mid-thirties to mid-forties and speak with a British dialect.Strong improv and interaction skills required. Male and Female Actors Youthful in appearance, able to speak with a British dialect. Please prepare a one minute monologue for audition using a British dialect. Callbacks will be held for select candidates Monday, November 16th at 6pm. All candidates must be available for rehearsals in January.

Middlebury College will be hosting the Third Annual Quidditch World Cup on October 25th from 9 am to 5 pm. There will be 26 teams from all across the United States competing in the Quidditch World Cup. Middlebury has made the sport from Harry Potter popular across college campuses.

Variety recently reported that Dan Radcliffe will be starring in the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway. From Variety:

Written by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, "How to Succeed" chronicles the rise of a crafty window cleaner as he follows the advice of a self-help manual to connive his way up through the ranks of the World Wide Wickets Co. and get the girl in the process.

Warwick Davis talks about the transformation of appearance of Professor Flitwick between Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban on his twitter account.
He mentions how Flitwick wasn't originally scripted to be in the movie but was asked to play the role of 'Choir Master'. Read it here, and whilst you're there make sure to follow him if you have a twitter account.

He also mentions that he would love to play Snape when asked which other character from the books he would love to be.

Emma Watson "stalked" by Harvard

At last weekend's Brown vs. Harvard football game, Emma Watson thought she'd be cheering her Brown Bears. Instead, she was stalked by Harvard students to the point that she needed security to escort her. Turns out the Harvard "Voice", a student magazine, orchestrated the so-called stunt which included tweets and blogs about "Hermione" and "Emma" sightings while at the game.

Yesterday in a news release, Warner Bros. announced details pertaining to the new Harry Potter: Wizarding World DVD game. Here is what they had to say about it:

Based on two Harry Potter films – Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince™ – and Harry Potter: Wizarding World™, the DVD game enables fans to extend the movie experience with activities that include escaping Death Eaters at the Quidditch World Cup, learning defensive magic in Dumbledore's Army, potion-mixing in Advanced Potions class and much more. Matthew Lewis and Evanna Lynch have both laucnhed the upcoming release of the Half-Blood Prince DVD by releasing 1000 balloons over London today. This kicks off the contest that is open to anyone in the UK that is over 18, anyone who finds one of these balloons will have to simply follow the instructions on the card attached to the balloon and be entered into a prize draw which could see them winning a trip to the Deathly Hallows set!

The Potter Exhibition started out in Chicago and it getting ready to move onto Boston where it will open on October 25th at the Museum of Science. Just a couple days ago the first piece from the exhibition arrived: Ron's horse from the chess set in SS.
