In an interview with the BBC, actor Robbie Coltrane, who plays Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies, dropped some hints about what we can expect to see when the Half-Blood Prince movie is released next summer: "They're 17 now of course. So life has changed for them. Romance is in the air. The threats get more and more threatening as his powers and knowledge and all of their powers and magic get stronger. They have to up the ante. The books are like that, that's the way they're written."

He also said that he will start filming Deathly Hallows in February, and that he expects to have a short, one or two-week-long break in between shooting on the first and second parts of the film. The full interview can be read at the BBC.

HP among least-returned books in UK

The BBC reports that over the past two years, more than 100,000 books have gone missing or been stolen from public libraries in Wales, costing the libraries more than $1 million. Among the least-returned books to Welsh libraries are the Harry Potter series, as well as books by Roald Dahl, Terry Pratchett, and Jacqueline Wilson.

Chris Franks, a South Wales assembly member, said, "These thefts are a huge drain on the public purse, particularly at a time when money is tight. This is money which could otherwise perhaps be used to improve facilities for library users such as greater internet access."

Actress Archives reports that Emma Watson toured the campus of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts this week, where she is considering attending college next year. According to The Harvard Crimson, Emma stopped by the admissions office and the English department during her visit. She was then spotted on the campuses of Yale University and Brown University later on in the week.

Emma told Actress Archives, "I've applied to a few universities for next year, including several American ones. If I do go there, I will do a liberal arts degree, but if I stay in the UK, I'll do English Literature."

She also filled in the website about her recent travels, saying, "I've just come back from Kenya. It was amazing--I've just always really wanted to go there. I went to Masai Mara, and I went to beaches and it was a great place. I've just got back from Hong Kong, too. I may go over to New York to see Daniel Radcliffe in 'Equus' over there. I am going to make the most of my time off."

In an entirely unsurprising listing, JK Rowling came in first place once again on Forbes' annual list of wealthiest authors in the world, followed by James Patterson, Stephen King, and Tom Clancy. Forbes estimates that Rowling earned a whopping $300 million last year, thanks to the near-simultaneous release of the Order of the Phoenix movie and Deathly Hallows book.

A Forbes spokesman noted that "[o]n the big screen, her Potter franchise has already generated $4.5bn the worldwide box office - and she still has three more flicks to come."

"Fine, I'll try and teach him again!" Snape snarled at Professor Dumbledore.

"Severus, please, for me, don't take all those old wounds that you gained from James out on Harry. Harry is not James - do not blame him for what happened." Dumbledore spoke quietly, but his blue eyes held a warning. Snape sighed in frustration...
