"If we turn our heads and look away and hope that it will all disappear then they will - all of them, an entire generation of people. And we will have only history left to judge us."
What is Hermione's big moment and big sequence in the sixth film?
WATSON: There's this mean girl called Lavender who has a bit of a crush on Ron. It's leaked in the beginning of the film that Hermione and Ron are finally going to get it together, and then she steps in. Hermione is sensitive and quite mean, really. And it's very much about how she sort of despises Lavender. Not really because she's taken Ron away, but because she's kind of the opposite of Hermione. So it's very comic and also quite sad for her. It's very Ron based, her part.
Do you think the fans of the book will find "Half-Blood Prince" to be a faithful adaptation?
I hope so. I think we've stuck as close as we possibly can without making a ten-hour movie. We've never had that complaint before, and I personally am such a big fan of the books. I've read them each of them three or four times so I think that's a really good focus for us.

Trio Shoots in London

There was much excitement as "The Trio" filmed a scene in and around Piccadilly Circus on Monday night (April 20) for the first "Deathly Hallows" movie. From the looks of their attire, it's my guess that the scene is when they flee the burrow after the wedding. Yay!

Update: Emma Watson updated her official website with her birthday and university plans:
Hey everyone,
It looks like my Birthday's snuck up on me... I sooo don't want to be 19! I can't believe another year has gone by, so much has happened! I really can't believe I'll be at University in September...Still haven't decided where to go, it just doesn't seem real. When I do decide you will hear it here first!
Just a quiet one this year, though. As you know everything is so busy with my filming schedule. I'm really looking forward to a home cooked dinner with my family tonight! Thank you all for my Birthday wishes!
Love Em x x

Ferndale Comprehensive School in South Wales, have devised their own 'muggle' version of the game.
Muggle Quidditch is not exactly the same as the wizarding version; as well as the absence of broomsticks and bewitched balls there is no "seeker," the position played by Harry Potter himself.
But the confines of reality have still enabled the school to keep most of the fictional sport's rules, ending up with a cross between dodgeball and handball.

JK Rowling attended today's G-20 economic summit in London, where the leaders of the world's major economies convened to work toward global consensus on economic recovery policies. The Telegraph reports that, despite the immense political star wattage on hand, Rowling made her mark, with U.S. President Obama and Russian President Medvedev both taking the time to express their appreciation to her for her books. The paper writes:
The President made a beeline for Miss Rowling, at the end of the Downing Street G20 dinner, and told her that he had read all her books himself and to his children Sasha and Malia.
Miss Rowling then received a second presidential seal of approval for the boy wizard from Russia's President Medvedev and his wife Svetlana, who not only admitted to having read the Harry Potter books but also asked for her autograph.
Rowling was also seated "in prime position" at a dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama later in the day. The full article can be read here.

"Fine, I'll try and teach him again!" Snape snarled at Professor Dumbledore.
"Severus, please, for me, don't take all those old wounds that you gained from James out on Harry. Harry is not James - do not blame him for what happened." Dumbledore spoke quietly, but his blue eyes held a warning. Snape sighed in frustration...
