Early-bird registration is open for the Infinitus 2010 Harry Potter symposium, being held July 15-18, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. The venue is the Royal Pacifica Hotel at Universal Studios with at least one event being held at the "World of Harry Potter" theme park at Universal Studios. Past Harry Potter symposiums by HPEF have been "Azkatraz 2009". "Portus 2008" and "Nimbus 2003" to name a few.
Harry Melling to reprise Dudley Dursley role in Deathly Hallows

As listed on his agency profile and filmography page actor Harry Melling will complete his role as Harry Potter's Muggle cousin Dudley Dursley in Deathly Hallows.
Deathly Hallows releases on November 19th 2010 and May 2011.
Rupert Grint 'sad' at Potter end

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint has said he'll be sad when filming for the series comes to an end. He told Newsbeat:
"I'm just trying to make the most of it really because it is going to end. I think it is going to be sad, but I'm ready to move on as well. At the moment we've got so much to do. Because it's two films it's going to take a year."
Since the latest movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, there's been more of a romantic element to the films which means Rupert has just had to film a kiss with co-star Emma Watson. He admitted that snogging Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the movie, was a bit weird.
"We were dreading it to be honest, because we've grown up together and it just seemed wrong really," he said. "It was fine. We just really believed we were Ron and Hermione and not Rupert and Emma and it was OK. It was only a few takes, so it didn't last long."
Most of the main cast members have worked on Harry Potter since the first movie was released back in 2001.
Rupert says they all plan to keep in touch as they've been friends for so long. He said:
"We get on great. It's been quite a long few years and we've kind of grown up with each other and gone through a lot. We're close. It's good.
"Emma's going to university and she'll be busy and stuff but hopefully we'll all stay in touch. We all get on."

'Harry Potter-style' video ads inside magazine

The animated newspapers of the Harry Potter books will come a step closer next month with the appearance of the world's first video magazine advert.
America's Entertainment Weekly will contain a wafer-thin screen and mini-speaker that will allow readers to watch a video when the publication is opened.
CBS, the US TV station paying for the advert, said the device would be tough enough to cope with the rough and tumble of printing, binding and delivery.

Joshua Herdman (Gregory Goyle) and other Harry Potter costars attended last weekend Muggle Mayhem - a Harry Potter convention.
During the convention, the actor confirmed that Jamie Waylett will not reprise his role as Vincent Crabbe for Deathly Hallows and his character, Gregory Goyle, will die instead.
Also, during a discussion, Josh revealed the scene chosen as the split point for both Deathly Hallows movies:
Herdman said that the current plan was to split Deathly Hallows just after the trio are captured by the Snatchers and right before they are taken to Malfoy Manor.

Central Florida News 13 aired a report on the HP theme park, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The video shows some previews on the HP themed area currently under construction at the Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida.
"Fine, I'll try and teach him again!" Snape snarled at Professor Dumbledore.
"Severus, please, for me, don't take all those old wounds that you gained from James out on Harry. Harry is not James - do not blame him for what happened." Dumbledore spoke quietly, but his blue eyes held a warning. Snape sighed in frustration...
