According to Kentish Express Ashford & District, a regional UK newspaper, 12 year-old actor Ashley Whitehead has been cast as an orphan in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Ashley is a member of the Showbiz Academy, which is a talent institution in the UK that specialises in teaching young and aspiring actors, singers, and dancers.
Although it is not mentioned the specific character Ashley is playing in the film, it is assumed the role will be that of an orphan in the child Tom Riddle's orphanage.
