Symonds' agency, Enchantment Casting, represented two French girls, both whom sought after the prized role of Fleur Delacour. The girls, Andy (who we interviewed last month) and Emilie, both sent in their resume and pictures to Fiona Weir, one of three casting assistants for the film. The following day, Weir called Symonds to let her know that although she thought that Andy looked too mature for the role, Emilie had a "very interesting" look. Emilie was then asked to make a DVD of herself to submit to the other casting directors.

"I was later told by Fiona [Weir], after she had looked at the DVD that Emilie had made, that there were already three Fleurs in the running, but that she still wished to show the DVD to the director," Symonds said. "About three weeks ago, I recieved another reply from Fiona, saying that the role had been cast; they had discussed Emilie but had chosen another girl. Basically, Emilie had reached the final four Fleur Delacours."

Veritaserum also talked to Emilie, who mentioned several steps she took in an attempt to get the role: "I dyed my hair blonde, worked a lot on improving my English, and worked on Fleur's character, which helped me because I interested them."

The Fleur Delacour audition process began around January-February, but nothing regarding the actual auditioning process has been released to the public. Symonds also presented an actor for the role of Cedric Diggory.

Enchantment Casting is open to all UK residents. It aims to provide actors, actresses and TV extras for roles in TV and film throughout the United Kingdom. Started in late 2003, Enchantment is located in Wales, UK.
