Well since I have been thinking of past character who may come back into play in the seventh book OliverWood has been mentioned a few times like in book four at the quiditch world cup whre he met up with Harry Ron and Hermione and in book five when Angelina thought she was a bit hard on him.

I am 61% obsessed.House Gryffindor Quiditch position- Beater. School-Hogwarts Animagus-Winged Horse Most like marauder James. Wand 15" long, made of Ash wood, containing a single Phoenix Feather for a core. Job a Hit Wizard with the Magical Law Enforcement Squad best Friend Ron. Girl Friend Hermione Marauder Name- Featherhyde
now that you mention it, it is possible that oliverwood will return in the 7th book. i never thought of him returning, but JKR does remind us of him in the books after he has graduated. i think that we will see oliverwood, but i don't know when and where we would. i can't exactly say i could see him fighting in the order, but i could see him showing up later in the book. maybe he won't be there to fight, but im guessing he will show up randomly (kind of like how lockhart showed up randomly in the 5th book).

I doubt Oliver will come back into the series. The only mention we might get of him is if he's killed or if Quidditch comtinues to be played professionally during the war and they're all happy because his team won or something. He's not a big character anymore and she has so much to wrap up in Book 7 that I don't think she'll detour to bring him in for a decent sized part.

I guess it is a possibility after all i have heard that harrys ability to fly will be a big part in the 7th book plus Victor is coming back and ron is a good keeper and the comes Oliver who was an excellnt flyer. those are all great flyers, well see what role he plays that is if he does come back.

I don't think Oliver will show up in Book 7 unless his team won. I liked how she would mention him in the past books. I really do hope she does talk about him. I doubt he will be in the Order, too.
OliverWood was older than Harry and in a higher year (grade). I believe he was at least two years ahead of Harry. So, in book 7, Oliver will have graduated Hogwarts some two years before.
JKR has already said that there will be no Quidditch in book 7. So, if Wood is on a Quidditch team somewhere in the Wizarding world, he will not be a part of book 7. Let's face it, with all the other loose ends that JKR has to tie up, I just can't see her bringing up a character that she has made no mention of in years. Book 7 will be larger than OotP! And, we know that JKR has said that book 7 wasn't going to have near the number of pages that OotP has.
So, for as much as I enjoyed reading about OliverWood (and seeing him on screen - he is a cutie), I just can't see that JKR will mention him at all in her final book. Unless, it is in an epilogue. There he might get some commentary.

Did Oliver play with Quiditch Bill or Charlie, he may make an apperance at the wedding. Aside from that I cannot see him having a mention other then i passing.
i think he will be in it but only a small part. he was never really a big character but i think jk rowling will try get in as many as the charcacters as possible but only a very small part
I do not think that Oliver will show up in the 7th book because he was not a very important character to the plot in all of the books, just a quidditch captain. I have no ideas of how he could turn up in The Deathly Hollows.

Maybe we'll see a slight referance to Oliver like in a news piece about his quidditch team but I don't think he'll sctually come into the Deathly Hallows in any way.

"You do care, you care so much you feel as though you will bleed to death with the pain of it" Dumbledore to Harry in the aftermath of Sirius's death in OOTP-my favourite line ever.
I don't think that Oliver will come back. Quidditch was like an acceptance thing, a way for Harry to fit in at Hogwarts and relax. He was brave, and he's great at DADA, but other than that, there's really nothing extraordinarily special about him. Think about all those time that flying has come in handy, the SS/PS, PoA, GoF, OotP, and a bit of HBP. Without his flying ability, he would have been at a disadvantage.
So after saying that, Oliver was like a coach and a friend to him. I think that Oliver played his part and is done for the most part. He might be mentioned, but I doubt it. I'm fairly sure that he wouldn't have a major role in Deathly Hallows.
Oliver is so pretty... If Oliver comes back i'll wonder what he'll do? JKR said their would be no Quidditch in the final book so he cant really do much there... he might coach harry with flying skills to help him inprove flying to help his war against the Dark Lord..

Oooh I wish he would come back. He was one of my favorite characters. But he wasn't mentioned much in the other books except about quidditch so what would his purpose be? I dunno I hope comes back.
