Although I like all movies Independent films are just so good cause they always have a plot or a moral, ya know? Instead of how some movies are just pointless. (Like "You Got Served")

It is a very good movie. I really like it. I like Sean Penn. After i saw him in "I am Sam" I have loved his acting. And this movie was fantastic to me...great acting went on. What do you think of the younger actresses these days..like Hillary Duff, or Raven...to me i like Dakota Fanning. She had already been in many great films and i just saw this preview for this new film she is in. It is with Robert Deniro(Who i love) and Dakota's hair is long and black. It didn't show much in the preview but by what i saw it looks like a horror and it seems as though Dakota's character knows something...like a future seeir or something and Robert's Character needs her help...it looks pretty good..by they way..have you seen Man on Fire yet?

I'm just wondering but err why are LOTR and Pirates of the Caribbean in their own categories? lol.

Has anyone watched the whole movie of Monster (with Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci).

mmm haven't seen Man on Fire, didn't appeal to me.

Oh, yeah...I agree with you on that one...I like Dakota too...she's just fantastic in 'I am Sam'! (lol, that's a great movie too, I cried the first time I watched it..) and she's pretty young too (I seems to have overuse the word 'too'! LOL, oh, whatever...)...I'm sure she'll make it big when she's grows up...Man On Fire? Not yet here on theatre but I heard it's good...

and oh, I got a bootleg of 'Mystic River'. Haven't got the time to watch it though...I'm sure I'll find the time next weekend since you guys said it's worth to watch... wink.gif

Monster is a good movie, really well done. Haven't seen Mystic River, and I loved Man on Fire... just got the dvd the other day, haven't had a chance to watch it again yet though.

Dakota Fanning is one of my favorite actresses, and her new movie (the one halfbloodprincess mentioned) Hide and Seek will almost definetely be awesome. Its a thriller I believe, and lol, dakota looks really creepy with dark hair. Very mature, and very weird :-P

I read the descrip on IMDB and well, yeah the movie sounds like it'll be awesome. Sean Penn is great too, I loved him (and Dakota) in I am Sam and Sean in 21 Grams.

so this is what they call, another endless night,
so tired of believing, if this is wrong or right,
i think this cause is lost, i wish that i could sleep,
i feel like some kind of shadow, another slave to the weak,
imagine if we lived, under the weather,
we would never be found, never discovered.

So I started this topic to discuss our favorite movies. Of course one of mine is the Harry Potter series, but I also LOVE Miracle. Dunno why, I'm not attached to hockey in any way, the movie was just too real and inspiring I s'pose. Plus it has a good soundtrack lol.

hmm Well, all of the HP films, A Little Princess, directed by Alfonso Cuaron, and (this might not count) but Beauty and the Beast done by Disney (the very first animated one)

I love so many movies! I like: HP, Lord of the Rings, Kill Bill Volume 1&2, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, the Last Samurai, Star Wars, Big Fish, any movie by Michael Moore, and every comic book movie except Dare Devil and the Hulk. There are a lot more but those are all I can remember as of right now.
