4. What character in the HP series are you most like and why? (In other words, are you studious like Hermione, business-oriented like Fred and George, protective like Mrs. Weasley and the like.)
I'm like Ron Weasley - sometimes a little bit tactless; a little bit jealous/envious, but most of the time I'm moody. Guess I'm Ron's type because we're both quite immature at a point.
5. What character in the HP world do you admire and why? (You can admire the person for her/his skills, traits, personality etc. but you don't need to like him/her.)
I admire and like Albus Dumbledore. Although he was going to sacrifice Harry at the end, we was a very good and wise man. Also, his skills were the greatest and I loved his funny side which was suppressed most of the time ;(
6. If you received a Hogwarts letter, what activity in the wizarding world would you be the most and least looking forward to doing and why?
Auror, of course. It's an interesting and training career which suits me, I think. Also I dislike hearing/seeing bad doings and I'm very prone to punish those bad people.
7. What are you good and bad at in the Muggle world? (I am referring to any kinds of activities, not only those school-related, or to some exceptional skills you possess. As for me, I am particularly good at sports and organization and bad at public speaking.)
I'm good at memorizing new alphabets which helps me in learning a new language. Also, I'm good at gymnastics, always ready for a new scheme that someone doesn't dare to try I'm bad at coordinating things, always getting lost in details and ending up screaming in despair. So, I better leave someone else ^^"
8. What is your Muggle dream job and why?
Linguist - because I'm in love with languages and I find them very interesting; I really want to know at least 5.
9. What would you like hearing at the Careers Advice in your fifth year in Hogwarts?
That I'm a suitable for Auror; as my grades are good at Potions, DADA and Charms. Still need to work on Transfiguration and Herbology.
10. What is your most and least favorite moment in the HP books.
Most: When Fred and George ask "And what are we? Neighbors next door?" - when Ron got his Prefect badge - this was the funniest. As for the most sensitive was when Sirius asked Harry to live with him at Grimmauld Place in PoA <333 - cried when I read T.T Least: When Lupin wants to join Harry, Ron and Hermione on the search of Horcruxes! His words cut deep in my impression of him ;(
11. What would you do if you saw someone you know breaking the law? (Example: A friend/family member cheating, stealing or purposefully setting out to cause damage or harm.)
If it were only cheating which doesn't affect anyone, I'd keep quiet about it. But I'd say some warnings to him; after all, I don't to be me who gets him arrested. But if it were purposefully damage to someone, I'd take some measures. Hurting someone else is not allowed and he has to pay for his crime.
12. How would you react if you witness a crime being committed on a total stranger? (Example: Someone being attacked or robbed.)
I'd be outraged, especially if it were in broad day. As for the thief/attacker, I'll shoo him so that the other guy can escaped it alive. Meanwhile, I'd have called the police ^^.
13. Tell me about one aspiration you have for your future. (Meaning one achievement you desire.)
To offer everything to my parents as they slowly approached the end. At least, that's all I can do to repay them for the sacrifices they've made for me. 14. Tell me about one achievement you have already conquered. (This can be a small or monumental achievement about anything.)
Well...I've received 2nd place in a concurs for Philosophy. I was really happy, though I should've got 1st ;( Well, being 2nd it's good too (sometimes )
15. In as few words as possible, tell me anything about yourself that you think I should know.
I'm pretty naive and very protective. I feel disgusted by people who purposefully hurt others and I hate betrayals. Also, I always give people other chances.

WELCOME to VTM! I know you'll enjoy this fabulous HP site as much as me. I'm really excited about getting to know you through this quiz and can't wait to read your thoughts and comments around the forums. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to send me an owl (PM me).
Lexxa, The first day of high school can be tough. Been there, done that I have a career for you that will make you known in the wizarding world and you'll have tons of FUN! Since you like potions and you enjoy expressing yourself I think owning your own Apothecary is perfect! Not only do you sell potions ingredients but you can create your own potions and sell them in your own shop. Not only do you keep 100% of your profits but if you're really good you may have the ministry and St Mungos asking for your help, making you a well known Potioneer. So your official title would be something like...Master Potioneer and Apothecary owner. Good luck and have fun brewing success!
MoonFighter, I LOVE your aspiration for the future. I feel the exact same way about my mom! I'm going to get straight to the point! You seem like you'd make an excellent Auror. You can be mean (There's no room for sympathy when dealing with the most dangerous wizards) Knowing many languages will help you if you're in another country and your strong sense of justice and protecting others is a MUST!. However, cheating is bad...just thought I'd throw that in there Good Luck and Be Safe!!

mini ginny 4 real, Congratulations on getting the lead part. I could NEVER do anything like that, I'd be way to nervous! Look on the bright side of the end of Harry Potter, You'll have ALL the books and movies to re-read and re-watch over and over As for your career, since you're enthusiastic and love the center stage I think you're next endeavor will be attending the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts or W. A. D. A. This way you can continue in the career that you love and have exceptional training. Good Luck and Have FUN!!!
The Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts (W.A.D.A) is a wizarding school that provides education for young witches and wizards who seek a theatrical or performance career. Professor Herbert Beery began teaching at the Academy after leaving the post of Herbology teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
W.A.D.A. is a reference to R.A.D.A (The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) in London, England. Many of the stars of the Harry Potter films trained at R.A.D.A, including Ralph Fiennes, Kenneth Branagh, Alan Rickman, Michael Gambon, John Hurt, and Fiona Shaw.
Voldys.Girlfriend, You must have great balance to learn how to snow board by yourself, that's awesome! I do think you'd be a great teacher. And being creative will help keep your students interested in learning. Since you love ancient history, I think History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts is right for you. You can go back hundreds of years and teach your students everything in the wizarding past! Have fun with it and Good Luck Professor!
Harry.Potter.Geek, I also would love to meet the HP cast and JKR! Let's see...you did do very well in your subjects so I think a teacher is well earned here. Since you enjoy math I think you'd be ideal for the arthimancy Professor at Hogwarts. This subject deals with memory skills and large number charts. Being organized and staying focused is key in this subject. You'll really get a chance to see the looks on your students when they figure things out, since the answers are supposed to reveal parts of the future. This is also Hermione's favorite subject. Good Luck Professor!

1. What is/was your favorite Muggle subject and why?
English/Literature, because I love playing with words and expressing myself in that subject. I also love to read.
2. What is your favorite wizarding subject and why?
That's tough...but Defense Against the Dark Arts, that's the most exciting. & Possibly the most useful at times, besides Charms.
3. Describe at least 3 of your positive and at least 3 of your negative traits.
I'm curious, intelligent, and funny. However, I'm also easily distracted, self-conscious, and selfish.
4. What character in the HP series are you most like and why? (In other words, are you studious like Hermione, business-oriented like Fred and George, protective like Mrs. Weasley and the like.)
Cho Chang, because I tend to have the same problems like her in love or act like her in relationships. I've also got the same "status" as her.
5. What character in the HP world do you admire and why? (You can admire the person for her/his skills, traits, personality etc. but you don't need to like him/her.)
Professor McGonagall, because she's a good role model for girls, don't you agree?
6. If you received a Hogwarts letter, what activity in the wizarding world would you be the most and least looking forward to doing and why?
I'd be really excited to get sorted into a house, because that's where you'll be staying for the rest of your time at Hogwarts & you'll see what kind of person you really are on the inside. I would not be excited about staying at Hogwarts day and night. I mean, sure it'd be fun to stay there for a sleepover or a few nights, but for a whole school year can really suck. (But hey--college is like that, too.)
7. What are you good and bad at in the Muggle world? (I am referring to any kinds of activities, not only those school-related, or to some exceptional skills you possess. As for me, I am particularly good at sports and organization and bad at public speaking.)
I'm good at the creative things like drawing, writing, thespian-like jobs...but I'm easily distracted so that's not a good thing. I'm also good with things like politics. & I'm an excellent investigator. I cannot keep my focus on something for too long.
8. What is your Muggle dream job and why?
Actor, since I've always wanted to be the star and to be on tv or on stage. I also love being in plays.
9. What would you like hearing at the Careers Advice in your fifth year in Hogwarts?
A list of all the jobs and their descriptions, & the special skills required for all of them to make my selection easier and to see all my choices.
10. What is your most and least favorite moment in the HP books.
I haven't read the whole series yet so I can't say for sure. However, I love the intense moments in Harry Potter. ex: when the whole school is afraid that Sirius is returning. or how Harry escapes the Dursleys' house. I do not like the boring chapters that are a little "wasteful." ex: Harry studying or sulking for some time.
11. What would you do if you saw someone you know breaking the law? (Example: A friend/family member cheating, stealing or purposefully setting out to cause damage or harm.)
I would certainly try to convince them otherwise, and tell them that that is not the way to do things. I'd also be rather surprised & ashamed of them.
12. How would you react if you witness a crime being committed on a total stranger? (Example: Someone being attacked or robbed.)
I'd call the police immediately, or if i can, try to help by stepping into the situation.
13. Tell me about one aspiration you have for your future. (Meaning one achievement you desire.)
Living my life to the fullest and to have the best time in the world. Not having a regretable life.
14. Tell me about one achievement you have already conquered. (This can be a small or monumental achievement about anything.)
Stepping up in my social status! Hahahaha! This was a big thing for me before since I was very low and now very high.
15. In as few words as possible, tell me anything about yourself that you think I should know.
I'd like you to know that I am very open-minded to all jobs, so I would not be upset if I got something I didn't expect. However, it should be a worth-while job.

JuicyWitch, The career I've chosen for you will allow you to be out in the world instead of cooped of in an office. Defense against the Dark Arts will most certainly help you as well as charms. Since social status is important to you, this career will give you a lot of it. Your creativity and acting skills will help you adapt to different situations to get the job done and keep us all safe from exposure. With all this said, I believe your future will be very bright as an Obliviator.
You'll be working in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, which is located on the 3rd level of the Ministry of Magic. You'll be wiping memories clean and creating a new creative memory to keep our world safe. Since you believe in right and wrong and would step into danger for a stranger, you have the necessary wits to complete the mission. Good Luck!
*Miss Bella*, You seem to love the dark arts and everyone involved with them. I don't believe there is a job that's specifically evil, only you can take it to that level. However, I think I found a job you would enjoy...I wish I could put sound effects on here! How about a Hit Wizard! This job is part of the Magical Law Enforcement Squad in the Ministry. We all know that Ministry employees can work for the dark side as well.
So basically with this job you'll be capturing criminals like Sirius Black. ONLY Criminals. And if things get messy...oh well. You are a Hit Wizard after all. But who knows...you might decide to turn the tides and help criminals like Bellatrix. Either way, watch yourself! You'll have one side or the other hunting you down. Good Luck
1. I like History of Spain the most, because history in general interests me. The second reason is that I love foreign languages, and History of Spain is taught by a Spanish teacher in her native language, while my mother tongue is Polish.
2. My favourite magical subject is Transfiguration, because I'd surely enjoy performing magic, and I like practical things. It would be useful in the future.
3. Positive: I'm smart, loyal and organised. Negative: I'm a bit too talkative, sarcastic and I tend to overanalyze things.
4. Ginny Weasley. I've changed just like she has. I also like sport, am very loyal to my friends and stand up for my beliefs.
5. I admire Fred and George Weasley. They are pranksters and incredibly smart people at the same time. They manage their business very well, they know which products will be popular, how to advertise them and have a knack for good pranks. And they're loyal to their friends. Did I mention that they're funny?
6. I'd be looking forward to exploring all of my magical abilities. But I don't like changes too much, I prefer sticking to the routine, it's very comforting to me. However, if something appears interesting to me, I have no doubt about changing my routine.
7. I'm good at sports, public speaking and acting. I have a knack for learning foreign languages and I remember a lot from the lessons, so I don't have to study much (I have an echoic memory). I give everything my best and I'm quite decisive. However, I have no sense of orientation whatsoever and I tend to overanalyze everything I've said or done. I'm no good at Physics, because I see no sense in learning something that won't be of use to me in the future.
8. I'd like to be a translator. I love foreign languages and I have no problem with speaking or writing. It's also very relaxing to me. And I could fall into routine with such a job.
9. I'd like them to give me a list of suitable jobs for me, with their descriptions and expectations. I like knowing where I stand and having everything planned.
10. My favourite moment is when Harry and Hermione go visit Harry's parents' grave. It shows how much they rely on each other. My least favourite moment is when Hermione is jealous over Ron during their sixth year. He was so immature back then, what could she possibly see in him?. Good intentions aren't always enough.
11. I'd talk with them and ask them why they did it. I'm sure they had a good reason and maybe I could help. But if it was someone who I know to be a not-so-good person, then I'd inform respective authorities.
12. I'd try to overpower the attacker, if he was harming someone. If he was trying to rob someone, I'd try to scare him off. If he was too strong, I'd ask a passerby for help.
13. I want to study foreign languages in a university somewhere abroad (one foreign language taught in a yet different foreign language).
14. I was a prizewinner in a big English contest. Right now I'm waiting for the result of another contest. The next week I'll find out whether I represent my city in an european contest of translating Spanish to one's mother tongue (please, keep your fingers crossed for me! :] ).
15. I'm quite organised and decisive. I like exploring my abilities to their limits and gaining new experience. I'm responsable, a hardworker, and I always keep my word. I like to work if it's a work that I enjoy.
Thank you! :]

WarriorMistress, I definitely have my fingers crossed for you. I hope you do well in the contest results you're waiting for and I hope you get to represent your city in the European contest. There's a few jobs I think you'd be great at...one is history of magic professor. But since you LOVE languages, and you want to be a translator I think I have the perfect position for you. You will need your intelligence, organization, loyalty to the ministry, your analytical mind as well as your talkative nature and a bit of sarcasm wouldn't hurt. Being responsible, hardworking and practical will help you in your position as a member of The Department of International Magical Cooperation with the Ministry. Translation will be very key when dealing with different countries! Good Luck and have fun!
The Department of International Magical Cooperation is an agency that attempts to get wizards from different countries to cooperate in wizarding actions both political and public.[HP4] This department on the fifth level of the Ministry of Magic includes the headquarters of the International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, and the British seats of the International Confederation of Wizards. The former head was Barty Crouch, Sr., until his death. This is also where Percy Weasley began his Ministry career.
This department is similar in function to the real-life British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and various organs of the United Nations. Courtesy of Wikipedia

SmiiLe_0'x, Good for you for having good grades in school...that is so very important. Since you're smart and would like a career in chemistry and love potions, I think you'd be great as the Potions Professor at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. This is a great place for you to meet new and exciting people, since making friends is one of your strong suits. Your excellent English will help the students advance their vocabulary and language skills.
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic (French: Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons) is a fictional magic school, first introduced in Goblet of Fire. Beauxbatons has a history that goes back at least 700 years, when it first began participating in the Triwizard Tournament.
Beauxbatons students follow a strict system of protocol concerning their behaviour towards their professors, which is noticeably different from that at Hogwarts (e.g., standing when their headmistress enters the room). The school follows a different examination system as well: at Hogwarts, major board exams are taken in the fifth and seventh years, whilst Beauxbatons students sit for their exams in the sixth year. In these regards, Beauxbatons resembles customs at a typical French school.
The Academy is housed in a glittering palace. The food, at least according to alumna Fleur Delacour, is delicious. Students wear blue and grey silk uniforms. Rather than suits of armour, statues of ice that glitter like diamonds during the Christmas season flank the halls of Beauxbatons. While only female students of Beauxbatons are portrayed in the film, the books mention that the school is co-ed, as Hogwarts students Parvati and Padma Patil are asked to dance by two Beauxbatons boys at the Yule Ball.
Beaux bâtons literally means "beautiful sticks" in French, and could be translated as "fair wands" or possibly "beautiful wands." Courtesy of Wikipedia
