[COLOR=purple] now that Angelina Johnson and Alicia Spinnet (Gryffindor Chasers) have left Hogwarts, what will happen to Katie Bell. will she remain a minor character or will she become more involved now that two of her friends have gone?

Lupin ... will he take the place of Sirius or will he remain the cool-headed man that's good in a crisis.

what will happen to Grawp? we know that he will become more controllable (JKRowling interview) but will he become a key character?

will we hear more from Fleur Delacour now that she's with Bill Weasley? and what about Viktor Krum, will he be back?

and what happened to Karkaroff after he fled in Goblet? did Voldemort catch up with him? and where is Wormtail?

what will happen to Fudge now that he is no longer the Minister?

and what do you think will happen to all the teachers?

Katie Bell, for the past five books, has always been a minor character, more or less. While she may appear again for Quidditch games and Dumbledore's Army meetings (if they return), I have a feeling that she'll stay as a minor character. I'll be on the lookout thought.


Lupin can be both, you know. The cool-headed man taking place of Sirius. I think he'll still be his cool-headed man self, but not take Sirius' place.

It is sort of like saying that a cookie you just took out of the box will replace the one you have eaten. It can't though, because the cookie you have eaten was special and yummy, and the one you have taken out of the box will never be like that cookie (just like how no two snowflakes are alike), even if they resemble in any way. Besides, Sirius and Lupin have two different personalities. Would you say that the Chips Ahoy (chocolate chip) cookie (Lupin) could replace the Oreo (cream between two chocolate wafers) cookie (Sirius) in a box of Oreo cookies? It couldn't, because the Chips Ahoy cookie isn't the Oreo cookie, and it would lead to awkwardness between the Chips Ahoy cookie and the other Oreo cookies.

In other words, Lupin would never be able to replace Sirius, because Lupin is not like Sirius, and it would probably have a horrible effect on the relationship between Lupin and Harry. Lupin will probably become a father-like figure, but not take Sirius' place at the same time.


That had to be the worst analogy in the world. Comparing Lupin and Sirius to cookies.


I have a feeling Grawp will become a key character in contacting the giants and gaining peace with them. After all, small or not he is a giant himself, and will know how to win the hearts of his people.


I personally think that Fleur Felacour and Viktor Krum will help connect Hogwarts to the two other schools, which will form a resistance against Voldemort throughout the other countries in Europe.


Karkaroff is either A. Hiding, B. Dead, or C. Swimming in the beaches of Hawaii. My guess he is either hiding or dead, probably dead from the way Voldemort promised to kill and/or get revenge on the two that didn't come to his group meeting in the graveyard. J. K. Rowling said we would see Wormtail back in action in book six. Now where he has been...that's a good question.


I doubt Fudge will become a Death Eater, so chances are he'll slowly diminish from the books, his name never disgracing the pages again.


For the teachers, it depends on the person. Most of them seem to not be in harm's way, more or less, and they haven't been mentioned before really except by names passing, so I don't think they'll appear randomly. For Snape, McGonagall, and the teachers that teach Harry, including the Astronomy professor... only time will tell.

My mind is all mush now. That cookie thing really messed my whole nervous system up. Now, what do you think?

I think that Katie Bell will remain a minor character as she has been for the past five books. We will only hear of her, as has been the case for Alicia Spinnet for the last five books, during Quidditch matches, in the DA meetings (if they continue...I hope they do) and the ocassional time here and there in the Gryffindor common room.etc. She could also become Quidditch team captain.

I think that Lupin will take over from Sirius and become a father figure to Harry in the same way that Sirius did. I expect him to guide Harry, but not have the same sort of relationship with Hrry as Sirius did. I believe that he will remain the cool headed man he is as well as helping Harry as much as he can with his problems.

I believe that Grawp will become a major character because he will be more controllable. I think that he will be essential in helping Dumbledore get the giants on his side.

I think that we will see more of Fleur no that she is with Bill and she could be crucial in helping forming a connection between Beauxbatons and Hogwarts.

As for Viktor Krum, I think that we will hear news about him and hear people talk about him but I don't think we will actually see him.

I think that Karkaroff is either is in hiding. I think, like Krum, we will hear news about his actions but we won't be seen by Harry.etc. I just hope that Voldemort kills him.

Fudge, I believe, if he has not died, will slowly vanish from the books and will not be a major character. I do not think that he will become a Death Eater too.

The teachers will continue teaching and doing their jobs. Some of them like McGonagall, Snape, Hagrid.etc. will also be busy helping the Order.

I think that Katie will remain a small character...she doesn't really seem that important, and never has been important...

I don't think ANYONE could ever take the place of Sirius. I think that Remus and Sirius were so close that taking his place would be like an insult to Sirius's memory. He will definitley remain cool headed!

Since Dumbledore is trying to get the giants on the "good guys side", i think that maybe Grawp will contribute to that. Maybe he and Hagrid will try and recruit more giants. I don't think he'll become a key character, as he can barely even talk.

Since she is with Bill, she will probably become more involved with the Weasley family...but how, i do not know...

I don't think Voldemort has caught up with Karkaroff yet. I think he is probably deep into hiding. Wormtail is still being a faithful servant to Voldemort.

wow i have never thought of that! it depends on WHY there is a new minister of magic...

now that all of the teachers are fully aware that voldemort is back, they will be more loyal than ever to dumbledore. i think more teachers will be recruited into the Order. I think most of them will have a small part in the Wizarding War
