We know that Dolores Umbridge is still employed at the Ministry, although how I do not know - do they not know that she sent the dementors after Harry?

Anyway, I was wondering, do you think she will be back again in book 7? Why even mention her if she is maybe not coming back?

She wasn't exactly a big fan of Dumbledores so shy would she attend his funeral.

Maybe, in book 7, if Hogwarts does re-open, the ministry is going to try and get involved again.

Any theories, anyone?

She is not my favourite character either and I definately dont eant to see her return...I just think that with her being mentioned in HBP that she may make a return.

Meh, I hope not, she is absolutely vile! I think the fact that she attended DD funeral was extremely bad taste and its a real shame that the centaurs didn't finish her off completely!

I truly hope Umbridge does not come back. I am suprised she went to the funeral for DD. All the students except her little squad could not stand her. To bad Firenze did not get closer to her and send her back screaming into the forest. She was evil and I am sure the new minister heard of her sending in the dementors as they are no longer in their control. I hope we do not have to put up with any more "hem Hem"'s. Also it would be a cold day in *(well) before McGonalgal would walk into the castle. Remember all the distruction from her teaching?? days?
I son't see peeves letting her back in either.

If we do indeed see Umbridge again, I do hope it is after Harry comes of age he can give her a taste of her own medicine.

To me, Umbridge has been one of the most detestable characters that JKR has come up with. She is the type of person I despise most: the self-agrandizer who desires nothing more than to be made more important by misrepresenting themselves to others...

Maybe the Twins can come up with something suitably irritating to deal with her?

I think that we've seen the last of Umbridge. Even if the ministry did once again get involved, after everything that happened do you really think that not only will no one allow her to come back......but she wont want to. I'd love to see her try and come back to Hogwarts! She is a foul woman and I'll be disgusted if she does return! I agree that she had no right to show up at DDs funeral, but unfortinately he did save her from the centars so she does owe him something.

As for whether or not the ministry got wind of the fact that she sent dememtors after Harry, even if they did they can't prove it. I don't think anyone can. It's a shame really! tongue.gif

Maybe she will be in the seventh book, and then maybe someone like Bellatrix will use the Cruciatus Curse and torture her into insanity. I know, it is really evil, but come on, she is evil. I couldn't tell you who I would go for in a duel, to tell you the truth.
