Not stupid, per se... just annoying. She's very... very much like my little sister, sans the smart thing...
If more people post her, Priori, I'm so making a signature banner for a club... ... and I'm trying to make Scott do the penguin dance... he's kinda refusing... might have to wait a while for it .
As long as I get to see the penguin dance, I'll wait as long as I must! And a signature banner would be very cool, very cool indeed!
As for Cho... I've said it before: she's a disgrace to the name of Ravenclaw. I fart in her general direction, her mother was a hamster, and her father smelt of elderberries! (Hope people actually get my little joke...)

o_O Wow......where is it indicated in the books that she behaves so badly that you have to fart in her direction? And how do you know where she is located?? I'm totally appalled by your hatred....I mean if we're talking about Draco or Hitler, then okay. But Cho hasn't killed anyone yet or broken Hermione's leg. Explain why you hate her so much please. (Using evidence from the books; not because she's annoying and a crying git)

NastyShort, please do NOT take this the wrong way because I don't mean to sound angry or mean but please, please tell me why you created the Cho-haters thread if you're going to post when you don't hate Cho and when you're going to ask us to explain something we really can't. (I mean, it's just... Cho. We don't like her for many reasons, but we can't exactly explain them because we can't really put our fingers on them.) I don't mean this in a mean way, once again, but this whole thing just sounds a tad bit hypocritical. For the third time, I'm just asking you this as politely as I can, I'm not trying to be mean, I just want to know.
EDIT: by the way... "I fart in your general direction, your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!" is a direct quote from MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. It's a joke.

I made it so you wouldn't go posting all over the forums about how you hate Cho. There needs to be some sort of organization in the forums; they're growing so rapidly. It's been driving me nuts. I've been here since the beginning.....when there was only 30 members, and perhaps only 10 actually posted. Now there's more than 530 members.....look at my signature to see my expression.
And I'm posting here because I would like to comprehend why you hate her so much; perhaps I would LIKE to "join the club."
But since you don't want me posting here, I shall refrain. I shall also warn others to not post here unless they hate Cho with a passion.

Sorry, I didn't mean I didn't want you posting here, I just didn't want you to be trying to make us all be quiet about Cho. I misunderstood, I apologize.
But seriously, I can't put my finger on it. I just don't like her. Probably for the same reason I hate green beans and really hot sunny days. I just hate them. The same reason why I love the rain and snow. There's no reason for it that I can explain, do you get what I'm saying?
I understand why you want to know, but like I said, I can't put my finger on it. Maybe Ceres can help me out?
The reason I dislike Cho so much is because she reminds me of someone that I dislike very much in my real life.
I liked this real person in the begining, as I liked Cho (I was extatic to see a Ravenclaw). Then Cho started 'doing' things in the books that reminded me of thinks the IRL person has done. The similarity between the two has brought me to dislike Cho over the course of book 5...
I really did like her when I first read book 4. I really did. I thought she was awesome.
But during book 5, I saw that she walked around, trying to make Harry feel sorry for her, and bawling excessively. Now, I understand what it's like to loose someone close to me. It happened twice last year to me (one of my best friends from school and our director at the community theatre), and I know how the loss feels. Yes, I cried when I thought about them. Even in public I'd tear up if they were mentioned. But I did not BAWL or over-react as Cho did. Nor did anyone else in the situations, except for probobly the first weeks/month post mortis.
Cho bawled excessively to Harry. She knew he was upset about it too, but kept bringing it up. She was ready to talk about it when Harry was not, which just caused more problems for Harry. After Alicia died, I was ready to talk about it after about a month or so, while some of my friends weren't ready to accept it after months. People get very irritated when touchy subjects they don't wish to talk about are brought up.
Cho also got mad at Harry over Hermione. That just clinched it for me. Cho threw a mad rage when Harry said he needed to meet with Hermione when at Hogsmede. I've lost friends due to relationships they've had, and it sure seemed to me like Cho was trying to pull Harry from Hermione.
When Cho and Harry fought about Marietta and the hex on her for breaking the contract... well, that just kinda ticked me off with Harry and Cho both...
But when Cho started dating... I can't remember the name for the life of me... The one that Ginny met at the Yule Ball... It just proved to me that she always had to be with someone... to feel important or whatever it might be... I don't know... Reminds me of my ex-boyfriend, though...
And yea, that's a summary of why I really don't like Cho at all... *nods*
Ahh, I'm so willing to just copy a lot of what you said, but that would make me sound insincere, but you know I hate Cho very much, very sincerely.
I've never lost anyone close to me before, so I can't relate to that, but believe me, I've had many, many hardships in my life that I have cried about. I hate hearing people bring it up because it always either annoys me or I just don't want to talk about it. The only people I don't mind hearing talk to me about it are my really close friends who usually know most of my stories anyway. Which brings me to this question: why would Cho have to talk to HARRY, the one who witnessed Cedric die and therefore probably the most insecure about it? My reasoning is that she isn't empathetic at all--not necessarily selfish, but definitely needs to put others' feelings into consideration more often.
Ceres also mentioned Marietta, whom I have only just remembered (therefore, thank you, Ceres). She was defending her friend, which is perfectly understandable, but she didn't seem to even try to understand what Marietta had even done. It had been the first day after Marietta had the spots appear (if my memory is correct) when she basically insulted Hermione in front of Harry before considering how he would react and why Hermione even jinxed the parchment. She's overly jealous of their friendship (which, although I fully support Harry and Hermione romantically, they hadn't yet shown any interest yet except for the kiss on the cheek Hermione'd given Harry at the end of GoF--which I highly doubt Cho saw), which I can EASILY relate to as my closest friend is a guy--other people don't exactly get jealous, but they always assume the wrong thing which is extremely frustrating.
Cho's jealousy of Hermione makes me feel as though she's trying to rip apart an innocent bystander of a crime scene or something. It's safe to assume, I believe, that behind Harry's back, Cho gives Hermione very dirty looks even after Harry's explained that they're only friends.
My thanks again to Ceres for getting my mind working again, and I hope to see the penguin dance soon.
i dont like cho because she remindes me of those girls that will do anything to get attention. i know a lot of girls like cho that get on my nerves. so that is why i get so angry when i think of her!!
i think i hate cho you would think she would stop crying i know cedric died but come on and i hate her for being a jealous cow  she is soooooooo annoying i hope her new boyfriend dumps her
Roger Davies? I hope not, that would just make her cry even more often. Nothing wrong with crying, but to do it excessively? Just annoying. I've said it before, Roger Davies will tackle anything with his lips as long as it's got lips, too. Even something as foul as Cho.
