I'v e already listed some of the bands I like a few pages ago. I don't really like making lists. I think you guys should explain why you like that kind of music and stuff like that. That's what I think anyways.
For all the people that posted saying that they like Fall Out Boy, you really need to check out the Fall Out Boy thread we have here.

Good List, emma_watson_is_hot, But "Screamo" isn't REALLY a genre, its more of a term hashed around to describe thrah metal and new-stryle glam.
I also have to disagree on AFI. They HAD to Make DU. DU was more of a showcase of the Blaqk Audio demos, mixed with the Son of Sam metalcore. the next AFI album will be more fixated in 80's ambient and UT style, Lise STS, only more evolved.
JamisonParker... RIP, RIP...
I just noticed, more "scene" kids are comin here... wow...
Hot Topic Sucks.
The Christina song is VERY ENJOYABLE, but hey, what do I know??? I .listen to that NASTY metalcore, Norma Jean, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, etc...
Breaking Benjamin is weak. unstructured structer-based songs (metal fans know what I mean...) and vocals weaker that Beau from (new) Saosin.... hahaha
By The Way, AFI is the best. look at their catologue. most vaired and expansive. worrrrd.
Well here goes: I'm into a wide variety of music, but i must say i HATE Country & Western and Classical! Had to get that out!! hahah!
Song i'm listening to at the moment is "You & Me Song" by the Wannadies... I was in love with the boybands Blue and Busted, and like McFly too!! However, i now have a few BETTER bands to listen to, Franz Ferdinand, Fall Out Boy, Greenday, Pink, Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance...
It ranges to everything really, i've een caught listening to Beyonce Knowels new song Deja Vu a few times aswell! Who knows!!
ummm... if i posted a list of the bands i listen to it would be forever, so i won't post it. i'll jsut post my top whatever. Fall Out Boy, Harry and the Potters, Be Your Own Pet, The Hush Sound, Thursday, i don't really now whatelse. im in love with many bands, so i might have missed one or two, or 5. lol.
well like think thats it. by the way. im not going to say anything about Hot Topic, becasue its practically the only cool store in the mall. *thinks*

Hi, well i hate coldplay, just thought i would clear that up.
... so do I, but hush they're rubbish aren't they? Good to see someone else doesn't like them!
Tigzie? How can you say that you hate classical music? Some peices are terrible yes but some are beautiful works of art which inspire the artists of today even. You should try listenin to some Stravinsky. His music is much darker and scarier, especially Rite Of spring. There were riots after te first performence of it, because it was just so totally different. I can't find a clip that does it justice. But have you seen the original fantasia? The peice of music that goes with the dinosaurs. It's really good, you should at least give it a try I was terrified of it as a child But it's always been one of my favourites.
My favourite Singer has been and alway will be David Bowie
Ok, I can't believe y'all haven't mentioned the Fray, I love them , especially how to save a life and all of their songs. All American Rejects: They Rock, lol, i love their song move along Greenday Nickelback:love their song Far Away I love mostly Rock and i hate Rap Coldplay: their awsome and a lot of other great bands.

I actually do like the Fray, Zac. The video for Over My Head (Cable Car) is pretty awesome. My current obsession right now though is Bright Eyes and the Dresden Dolls. I recommend them...I'll pretty much recommend those 2 bands until the day I die.

While there are some awesome bands out there, I'm afraid only four have really got me grasped. I can stand others, but I've got my top four, and wouldn't trade them ever.
Those select four that are Oh-so-awesome would be Franz Ferdinand, The Vines, Story of the Year, and The Clash. They are just great.
The Fray's fine, I like Cable Car, the Over My Head song...Green Day was good around their older stuff. Nowadays, I don't really like them.
Country and rap are pretty much garbage in my opinion, and I may get strangled for this, but I absolutely loathe Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and Good Charlotte. Blech. A little too emo for me....

Just The Droobles, its fine that you don't like Panic! or Fall Out Boy. Its your opinion, and your taste in music. I love both of those bands, but I dont hate you now that I know you hate them. I do agree with you on the country and rap being garbage though. I dont really like that kind of music. Just saying, everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

There is no such thing as Emo.
It is a senseless, thrown around term, thats been round since 1983, used to describe D.C. area PUNK bands, such as Minor Threat, who didn't write about Politics, but other issues in life in general.
everyone talks crap aobut Panic! becausee thay haven't payed their dues, their too young, they make "happy music..." la la la, but hey, where's your band??? huh??? at least they MADE IT!
and Fall Out BOy... they've put out enough releases, played enough shoes, and moshed plenty more to prove their the legit thing. Just Hardcore kids playin indie pop. completely fine with me.
BTW, this is IN NO WAY a stab against anyone here, just against those people who sling around the term EMO. THAT is what ticks me off
