1. I suppose I'm gonna be repeating what other people said, but still. First of all, it depends on the house the prank is going to be against. If it is a house I highly dislike, and if it is not bound to cause serious trouble, injury, etc., then I might let the classmates off the hook. But if it is just a small joke..
2. There is a number of ways I can think of.. I could get a job and earn some money to buy what I want. But if it is duuring the school year, I suppose I'm not going to have the time. Then I'd borrow the money from a friend - or friends, rather, considering how expensive the thing I want is - and get a job for the summer to pay them back.
3. I like him a lot, actually. He has somewhat of a darker side to him, which makes him interesting, but at the same time he is loyal and honorable and kind. He will stop at nothing to help his friends.. However, I think he's a bit too emotional, yelling at Ron and Hermione, unable to deal with anger during Occlumency lessons. But I suppose that is just his teenage-ness coming out =)
4. Hmmm.. I think Sirius. I'm a little crazy and reckless myself. And I would die for my friends and family..
5. Help him/her! Who cares about time and money.. Friendship is much more important.
6. Wow, hard question.. Most? Well, I guess that I am able to stay calm in a lot of stressful situations; control my emotions, you know. And I'm rather optimistic, which can't be bad. What I like least.. hmm.. that I want to show off sometimes. I'm really trying to control that desire, but sometimes it gets out into the open.

8. Ooooh, I love cats! I'll call a friend and ask to look after the kitten and do help him in any way possible, while I'm at the meeting. Then, I'll really take the matter into my own hands and do anything to help the poor little kitten.

1. OOOH do I have to be a prefect, oh well. It depends on how dangerous or malicious the prank is. If it is something like turning a cupcake into a toad and everybody including the victim of the prank get a laugh out of it, then I pretend I dont know nothing about nothing. I pupils would get hurt or scared or insulted and the prank is born out of malice or revenge, I would prevent it. After all I expect a certain level of dignity in all actions of the pupils of my house.
2. Save up for it. Makes it even more special in the end.
3. I always refer the the character in the book. I admire him for his bravery and loyalty but I also think his liking of adventures tends to be a bit dangerous. If he overcame his ego a bit more often to ask for help or share information, much pain could have been prevented. After all he just human (wizard I should probably say) though, and mistakes are normal and let him grow as a person.
4. I can most relate to Minerva McGonagall because she is always torn between being strict, fair, rule obedient and letting the Gryffindors get back at Slytherin. Thats exactly how I feel.

I guess it's my turn:
1. It really depends on the prank. If it was something that could get people hurt or was really stupid, I'd put a stop to it. If it was just harmless fun, I'd look the other way. If it was totally brilliant, I might even be tempted to help. (Tho I probably wouldn't. Prefect and all, you know.)
2. What, they don't take credit cards in Diagon Alley? Sheesh. If wanted it badly enough -- and couldn't convince one of my friends and admirers to purchase it for me -- I'd shuffle my budget around to see if I could manage it. Also, I'd probably ask the shop-keeper if they could come down on the price a bit, or if they'd take payments, or layaway.
3. Incredible Quidditch player, fun to watch, but stuff certainly seems to happen to and around him, doesn't it? Must admit tho, all the troubles he's been through make him seem kind of romantic, like probably nobody really understands him, which is attractive. I'd probably look for an opportunity to get to know him better, possibly through one of his friends. Even if we didn't get to be friends, I think he'd be fascinating to know. A bit dangerous maybe, but fascinating.
4. Definitely Hermione. I used to read encyclopedias for fun. Most of what I read now are reference texts for research. Like Hermione, I'd want to take ALL the classes I was interested in, really pack in the knowledge. I used to let people copy from my homework. I can be a bit of an annoying know-it-all myself (tho I'm trying to improve that aspect), and while I can be spontaneous and rebellious, when my friends say "what's the worst that could happen?", I'm the one who will tell them, in vivid detail.
5. Depends on the friend, and depends on what they need, and also if there's anyone else who can help them. I will always try to help a friend, but I know my limits on time and money, and if it ends up being too big of an imposition, it could affect our friendship.

It's the same for me, I know allot and what I don't know I want to learn. They say that knowledge is power, but I think knowledge is freedom.
5. Is it a really good, close friend? Then I'll do everything I can. If it's not that close a friend I might not be bothered too much.
6. I like my sense of humour the most. I can crack myself up. What I like the least is the bouts of shyness and insecurity that can come over me still, even though puberty is long gone.

1. A: I would find out what the prank entailed. If there was danger to some one’s health or a good chance that our house would lose a large number of points if the prankster is caught, I would stop the prank. If not, then I would say to the prankster(s) “Ahem, I like a good prank as much as the next guy, but don’t you think you need to have a little bit more situational awareness? Next time, give your prefect some plausible deniability, alright? Okay, now carry on and don’t get caught.”
2. Q: You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?
2. A: Ask mom, dad or any other relative for it (if I thought they might be able to afford it). If not, I’d save my galleons. Maybe I’d apply for a summer internship with the ministry.

A: Harry Potter is a hero but there are a couple things I don’t like about him; 1) he really needs to try harder with his schoolwork because ultimately his schoolwork will make him a better wizard, which will help his chances against Tom Riddle (I refuse to call him Voldemort because I personally find him rather pathetic).

8. A: I drive the kitten to the nearest veterinary clinic or animal shelter and drop it off there, all the while using my cell phone to call my boss and let him/her know that I’m going to be a few minutes late. If he/she asks why I’d just say it was a medical emergency (not a lie, right?)

9. A: I fear for the safety of my family more than anything else.

I also admire her for her sticking to her guns about only writing seven books.

15. A: I know I would have been in the DA (cause being to get rid of Umbridge and learn DADA). I can’t think of any other causes that I’d be really into though.

16. A: The ability to create and manipulate water and cold because I’ve lived in a severely cold climate and would have loved being immune to cold! Iceman has always been one of my favorite comic book heroes for that reason.

17. A: I’d go straight to Los Angeles because there are a bunch of places to go, all in close proximity. There’s Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios: Hollywood and Warner Bros!!! Oh, if you get a chance, go to the Wax Museum too. It rocks.

20. A: The person who thinks they’re better due to circumstances, hands down. They’re the types that rub it in that their families have money or connections. Don’t get me wrong, do-gooders tend to get on my nerves too, but they’re just trying to reassure themselves that they did the right thing.

I really agree with Hermione and the Sorting Hat about inter-house unity, so if it was a mean prank I wouldn't want to be a part of it, but unless it was truly cruel (like humiliating or dangerous), I probably wouldn't tell. I'd just tell the people that I wasn't going to be a part of it, and try to convince them not to do it. If it was cruel or dangerous, I would try even harder to convince them first, using all my Hermione-like powers of constant nagging, and only tell as a last resort.
2. Save up money by selling something crafty or artistic, maybe something using a cool charm or spell I had learnt.
3. Harry is a truly great person, but he is first and foremost a human, a teenage boy. As someone else said, he is reckless and I also do think he has a "saving-people thing." I think that throughout the books if he had been more open with Dumbledore a lot of trouble could have been saved. However, I admire his courage and his humility, his ability to recognize arrogance even in himself, and his caring for others. In particular, he hates bullies above all else, people who try to aggrandize themselves by putting other people down, and he has never acted that way himself. I loved his change from book five to book six where he went from being ashamed of Neville and Luna to proud to be their friend. With some maturity, and if he lives long enough (please JKR!) he will make a great man.

I could do to listen to others more carefully, though. I also don't listen often enough to my true feelings, or express them clearly enough, and that I don't like, because that causes me to be resentful and sometimes mean without even realizing it.
7. Kindness. True kindness. The kind of thoughtful person who doesn't belittle other people to make themselves feel better, who is there for those in need without feeling heroic or superior for it. I'm lucky to have found such a person. That is, besides Harry Potter.
8. Well, if I wasn't living with someone, and there was no friendly neighbor to call to help out, I would probably take it home, set it up with a warm blanket and some food and litter, and be on my way to the meeting. Unless it seemed really sick, and then I would drop it off at a vet on the way.

At least, that's the sin I think is the worst of the list, except maybe wrath but I'm really not very wrathful, whereas I've been known to be slothful and gluttonous pretty regularly. But feeling entitled to what you have been given, even if it is unfairly given, is a horrible thing. And, my real problem, is wanting other people to think I am perfect, not being able to admit that I'm wrong or even stupid sometimes, occasionally immature and ridiculous even, but being afraid that other people will find out and dislike me for it. What I'm learning more and more is that they usually already know, despite my best efforts, that I'm not perfect.
11. No job is my dream job. I'd love to just be able to magically get food and shelter, and go about my business without working for pay. I'm not so much lazy, since I wouldn't lie around doing nothing anyway, but would probably work really hard at tons of things that made no money, like reading books, doing art, working on a garden, raising children, etc. But in reality I'm unlikely to get my no-job-dream-job, so what I want to be instead is a professor. And I'm on my way to that goal, doing my Masters.

She had sixteen kids, lived to the age of 96, and although by the end of her life she was almost completely blind and deaf in one ear she still managed to knit her yearly scarves, hats, and pairs of mittens for the needy even the last year of her life. And she wasn't very far from needy herself, but she always remembered that there was always someone worse off than her. She also told fart jokes.
13. To do something good. To participate in the global effort to make this world better. To have kids who are happy with themselves and kind to others. To be happy with myself and kind to others. To do what is right, even when it isn't easy.

How do you sort people? Can you really tell, just from reading someone's answers? I don't think I could. Is Gryffindor supposed to be the best? Why am I Ravenclaw? Sorry, I'm so confused! It depends really, If it's something harmless then I'd let them get away with it. But if it were to be something huge that could hurt someone, then I'd probably report it to a professor.

3.Well, I obviously dont personally know him, but I looked at his site and he seems like a cool, all around guy, note the accent its cool too. And people look up to him.
4.Well, I truly think Im like Ron, Harry, and Hermione in a bundle. Im like Ron in a way because im scared of spiders yah and I dont really like to do life-threatning things. Im like Hermion aswell because Im smart like her and always know the answer. And Harry because yah Im Brave.. If im asked to go to do something, like hang glide or swim in a river full of sharks to save my little brother or sister, heck yah I would.
5.Id help the friend no matter what, Money .. well Id help them get it, I wont play easy to get "Here have my money" .. but for Time i wouldnt definately help them if they really needed it.
6.I like that Im athletic and good at school but I dont like i have an iffy attitude.

4. What character do you most relate to and why? I would say that I relate mostly to Hermione Granger. Like her, I'm very strict about rules and am smart. I love my friends and would do just about anything for them, like she would do for Ron or Harry.

I would take the kitten along with me. Hide it in my coat or something and nurse it back to health the moment I had the chance.

11. What is your dream job? My dream job is to be a successful writer. It doesn't really matter what kind of writing I did, just as long as I was doing it. Writing makes me happy. It's just something that was always there for me, and if I could write for a magazine, newspaper or be the next J.K. Rowling my dream would come true. And I'd die happy.
12. Name ONE person you admire and why? One person I admire is my best friend, Cassie. She is always 100% completely there for me at all times, and she never complains about me even though she's older. She has overcome some things in her life that would make naybody sit back in awe of her, and I'm just lucky that I know her.
13. What are some of your ambitions in life? My ambitions are to be successful. To be who I am and not let other people get to me. I'm a simple person, really. I just want to get by, nothing more or less.

Awesome parties will happen all the time. A play be your sister is probably once in a lifetime. I'd go to my sister's play, and laugh when she messes up, when she says a line really well, and probably dry when its over.

1) It depends on the prank and on who did it to whom...
2) I think i would help people with their homework and write some of their essays.
3)He is a pretty nice guy who has courage, is clever and a little bit shy. But above all, he has the strength to face everything bad that happens.
4) I think Hermione, we are both good students and logic. But i am more risky than her.
5)I help him/her. That's what friends are for.
6)Most the ability to give a great piece of advise at people and least the fact that i'm stubborn.
7)Being able to discuss with him. It's really rare in our days!
8)I call my job and say that i have a family emergency and then rush at the animal's hospital.
9)Of spiders. Yiach!
