Hey everyone - I know I signed up awhile ago but I never been sorted yet! So here are my answers.

1. Depends on how serious is the prank - but if it is humourous and will not offend anyone, then, no worries.

2. Ok, I will drop hints to friends & family about this really cool stuff from Diagon Alley, so hopefully, they'll pay together for it for my birthday or christmas present. If there is no chance of that, well I'll have to get a part time job and save for it!

3. Hmm...I reckon he's a bit of drama queen and an extremely unpredictable guy therefore, I'm always so interested to hear about his happenings

4. Ginny. I'm shy and takes me awhile to open up, but when I do, I'm an extraverted person and extremely loyal to friends. She also sticks up for herself and her friends and also has pretty funny sense of humour...a bit like me.

5. Well, like I said that I'm loyal to friends, I probably make time for her/him and hopefully he/she returns the favour when I need someone to count on.

6. I'm a pretty cheerful person and always like to think about issues. The bad thing about me? Being stubborn pig.

7. My potential boyfriend must able to have an interesting conservation with me - can actually talk intellectually and humourously.

8. Ring the RSPCA (Australia - short for animals rescue) and explain the problem and give them an address. It's their job to help & rescue.

9. In Harry Potter world: Facing Voldemort - that would scare me. In real world: snakes

10. Gluttony. I love my food, clothes and books (buy too many).

11. Advocating the social and environmental issues - maybe with UN?

A1) I would tell them off but not do anything to harsh. I'd probably wouldn't take any Percy/Hermine action unless they were messing with dangerous materials or situations.

A2) Ask if I could get a summer job there and hope for an employee discount. If not I wouldn't care one bit. Like Harry and Ron I was raised dirt poor.

A3) Harry's a swell guy. I'd love to be associated with him. He's so self sacrificing and noble you have to love him. His disregard for rules would make him fun to be around. And he knows the hottest girls in Britain. But his lack of self-control would be a pain to deal with.

A4) Severus Snape. I don't know if he's evil or not but we have had very similiar childhoods. Actually Harry's a good candidate, too. It comes down to being picked on, losing control and always fighting back. I think all three of us are the kind of people who when you knock down, we get up and say "that it?".

A5) Help out! No question of it. When a friend needs help you help him so long as he isn't doing anything wrong. Ethically wrong I mean.

A6) Most- resilience (no matter what I'll always be here.) Least-hate (I can't help myself but when I here Nazi I see a neck being slit in my head.)

A7) Compassion. If you can't feel than you're just not capable of sustaining a real relationship for long if at all.

A8) Tell him he damn well better help or else! What am I suppose to say? Sorry for bothering you? No way.

A9) Nothingness. A huge void about to swallow me hole. Gives me the chills.

A10) Lust. I know you want to exclude it but that's my answer. Sorry. Other than that wrath. I have a very violent and hateful side when I'm pushed to much. Fortunately my "evil" side has a long fuse.

A11) Inventor/Adventurer (both in real world and Harry Potter world.)

A12) My mom. We have very different views about people but when it comes to doing right we do it. Plus she'd give anything for our family andand her friends.

A13) To find someone who'll love me and I can love in return. Hopefully I'll recognize her quickly unlike Ron and Hermione.

A14) Sagrado Corazon de Jesus. I'd do both. My sister may not act but she's in chorus and they only perform untill eight at latest. My friends parties last untill twelve.

A15) Everything but civil rights has a special place in my heart. (Dr. King is my hero. Ghandi's there, too but I still need to do more reading on him.) I wouldn't tell anyone though because it's mot about looking good it's beeing good.

A16) Oh, that's hard. Wolverine's regenration. That would make me less scared to try out all those stunts I'm to cowardly to try. I skate board by the way.

A17) Huge monstrous water slides, no question of it.

A18) Muder Mystery.I love thinking and analyzing.

A19) Having benifited from second chances I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't give second chances.

A20) The latter hands down.

A21) Call the firedepartment and see if there's any way I can help. I can hold my breath for atleast a minute twelve. Oh, and if I've a wand with me and people are in danger Aguamenti(?). I don't care if you fine/ expell me.

I'd accept that pranks are part of school life (I've did some minor ones when I was at school ), but want to know the severity of it, if it wasn't dangerous or excellively humiliating to the other people/person then I would probably turn a blind eye, but if it was (and could be deamed as serious bullying or harmful) then I would firstly have a word with the people who were planning the prank (in the hope that they may stop just from my word/actions and wouldn't have to get them into trouble with a teacher) but if they ignored me I would have to tell a teacher (especially if the person really didn't deserve the prank and/or couldn't defend themselves) and just have to handle to flack I would get for being a grass because sometimes popularity isn't as important as doing what is right (stop laughing )

I'd probably work for it (and hope that during the time it takes to earn the money that the price drops ) or forget about it (but get a slight butterfly-in-the-stomach feeling at birthdays/christmas etc)

I actually think that considering what he has gone through he is incredibly well-adjusted, everyone seem a little concerned about his temper tantrums - but to me they seem mostly justified (for example, after sirius' death) although he does have a few irrational moments (but who doesn't ), I think that he is incredibly loyal to his friends and others close to him and would be willing to do anything to help/defend them - a trait that is rarely seen in people but wonderful when it is. In many ways he's a stereotypical teenage boy coping with all the typical angst (love/friendship/homework etc) but he also has exceptional strength - not just magical but in his character, he does not judge people on what they are but who they are - (as shown by his dismissal of Malfoys' comments about Ron when they met and his friendships with muggles/giants/werewolves etc). I could go on forever, I think he is very brave/loyal/strong and of course he has his faults, but everyone has faults and it is through these faults he will learn and develop (and make his good qualities more obvious - noone likes perfect people ), its the faults, like supposed-arrogance ('you don't have to call me sir') that make him lovable and funny

I actually recently did the which Marauder are you quiz and was told that I am most like Lupin, I'd say that out of all the characters in general I would still agree that I am most like Lupin. I am insecure, studious, a bit of a fiery temper (reflecting the change into werewolf) - as Pixymajik put so eliquently:

and I tned to over analyse things, theres a lot more but I can't remember it right now oh and of course I love my friends (tee hee I especially would it is happened to be sirius ) and would do anything for them, but then again I do tend to do a few risk/stupid things that may get me into trouble (usually in persuit of fun or for a friend not to hurt others or gain things for myself)

Do it! unless of course it would cost another friend something dear then I would have to way up which firneds' need was more - It really wouldn't be a question of what it would cost me and I am sometimes stupid with things like that and often react in a gut-instinct way and jump the gun to help but if it was something like 'I really need you to help me, I love (enter name) steal such-and-suchs' girlfriend away from them' - then no, I would talk to my friend and explain that sometimes you can't always have what you want and that perhaps it may be wise to wait (so I guess that I would help them, but spending time with them, consoling them etc) but not in the direct way they wanted) but otherwise then yes (sorry if this answer is a bit confusing - I get a bit carried away )

First of all berate the person in the pet shop for not at-the-very-least suggesting someone/some society that could help (Told you I was a hot head when I cared)

Take the kitten to the nearest vets

(and request that I could possibly pay to use their phone/ ask if they have a payphone - so that I could phone the place of the meeting to inform them that I may be late/not turn up and ask to reschedule - appologising a LOT for letting everyone down, (afterall they all turned up and I would be wasting their time - which I wouldn't do if the kitten wasn't ill - if it was a well kitten I would probably take it with me to the interview).

Once the cat (hopefully) was treated (I would be willing to pay, and agree to perform any post-treatment care) I would ask around the neighbourhood / put up posters (especially at the local shop) to inform people that I had found a cat and leave my details for them to contact me - (I would of course give the kitten back, unless it was the owner that harmed her )

I would love to say that if noone claimed the kitten that I would then try to find a suitable home etc - but I think that by then ( I would wait a long time and put in a lot of effort before giving up hope) I would have fallen in love with him/her and keep the kitten.

A loved one (fiends/family or anyone I know really) dying / being in pain/ill, and cockroaches (the make my skin crawl oh and seriously, nucleur bombs don't kill them - they are going to take over the world by getting a little roach army and making miniacture roach nucleur weapons and....*ahem* maybe I should stop there (only joking))

Wrath, I get really angry/emotional (but usually only fleeting - mood swings ) at various things - like the other day I was reading about drug-rape and I became completely disgusted and ranted for about an hour about how horrible people are, - I tend to have strong reactions to strong subjects (but then again I tend to hunt down strong subjects ), I do stress a lot (seriously, don't come near me at exam time - I once asked my boyfriend to breath quieter)

my most probably dream job is neurology research (studying now) which I have worked very very hard for and absolutely love the subject

but if I could have absoltely any job then it would probably be something like working on a nature reserve in africa or somewhere (one of my friends did it and said that despite nearly getting stampded a few times, the views were magnificent and it was such a beatiful and fulfilling experience to workwith and help the animals)

NON-FAMOUS: my mum (how cliche ) but she is so giving and throughout her disbaility she has been brave and strong, but moreso never afraid to 'feel', she has never used it as an excuse - she always tries to help others and loves with all of her heart (she also has an uncanny ability to tell when I have done something wrong, even though she lives on the other side of the country now ), she has always fought for what she believes in and has never given up

FAMOUS: I realise that this may sound like a strange choice but something that she did really touched my heart and made me realise how brave she was - when mo mowlam took her wig off - that took guts, I realise that many many people have done other brave and dangerous acts (Luther King etc) and I admire them all but for the first name that came into my mind when I read the question was Mo Mowlam because when she did it, I cried - it was a beautiful moment.

it depends on the severity of the trust that has been broken, but usually I accept that everyone makes mistakes and try to resolves it - However if it was a deliberate long-term and severe misuse of their power then I would probably confront them and ask them why and require it to be resolved but otherwise, live and let live

Run toward the smell, whilst phoning 999 on my mobile, If the house was empty then I would leave it to the ambulence (they know what they are doing) but if someone was in the house and couldn't get out then I would try my hardest (and shout for other people to help - by getting wet towels etc to cover me and the person in or getting mattresses for them to jump on) to help get them out, I'm not entirely sure how I would do it, but in such situations stress responses kick in and snap you into action (its also handy that the pain response is lessened too), people can do remarkable things when it is necessary 9although I would be scared )

12)My Dad, he is strong even when he is ill, and he always takes care of us before himself. He holds our family together, and I admire that, and hope I can do the same one day. And he can be a bit scary and pressuring when it comes to school work, but hey, not everyone is perfect??

13)To be better than some of my family, who get everything for nothing and don’t work for what they want! I want to be independent and to be able to support my family, (as well as rub in their faces that I am more successful than them).

As I have never been sorted I thought it was about time.

So I place myself at the mercy of the Sorting Hat!


1. Provided it was not dangerous, I would stay out of it and let t hem have their fun. A little fun between houses is good for morale.

2. Credit Card!! Well if they do not take Gringotts Visa then I would save until I had the money.

3. Harry is a good boy. A bit annoying at times but he does try to do the right thing.

4. Cedric, He was a smart boy but at the same time not nerdy. His set a good example to his fellow students but also knew how to have fun.

5. I would help them. If you do not help your friends in need then how can you call yourself their friend? If you don’t then you are not much of a friend.

6. I like that while I can be very mature and responsible, I also know how to relax and have fun being a child again. I least like my health. It could be much better.

7. Trust & Honesty. Without those there can be no long term commitment.

8. A real hard one. I am torn between just leaving the cat at the store or taking care of it myself. I would hesitate but in the end take care of the cat myself.

9. One of my children getting hurt and not being able to protect them.

10. Pride. I am a very good engineer and know it. While it is good to take pride in your work, I go too far.

11. Bag Boy at a supermarket. I was never stressed doing that in high school. Of course it will not feed the family but we are dreaming here right.

12. My father. We worked from a manual labor job making 60 cents/hour to owning the same company with little education. That takes hard work.

13. To win the lottery and retire by the age of 40.

14. Go to the sister’s performance. Family always comes first.

15. United Methodist Committee on Relief. They do great work all over the world for those in desperate need.

Okay, Greg. Better late than never! Though my own response would be to place you in Slytherin, just for the heck of it (that's my own dear Slytherin nature speaking): The sorting hat, which you placed upon your head, has delved inside the grey matter long enough to stir around the attributes of. . . GRYFFINDOR!

Hmm...I've been here at VTM for so long, yet have never been sorted . Well, may as well get sorted now!

1. It depends what it was. If it was minor (like really minor e.g. slipping someone a few harmless Canary Creams), then I'd let them get away with it. But anything really bad (e.g. hexing them all into vomiting up slugs) then no. That would be really unfair to the other house.

2. Just keep on saving up the Galleons/getting a job. But the job would have to be fun and something I'd enjoy.

3. I admire him for his loyalty to his friends and his willingness to sacrifice himself for others in times of need. Though he is sometimes a bit moody, he would be a really funny, caring friend to have around.

4. I most relate to Hermione cos I'm really loyal to my friends and family, and am very very studious - I always get my homework done and push myself for the best. Also, I'm actually quite smart, like her, and am also a bit shy sometimes.

5. I help them, of course! A friend in need is a friend indeed; i would always sacrifice my time/money to help someone out, especially if they really needed it.

6. What I like most about myself: I'm quite smart, yet humble and modest (believe it or not), I make friends quite easily, and I always try to never pick a fight cos I hate conflict.
What I like least about myself: I'm shy, a bit dorky, constantly worrying, and absolutely terrible and clumsy at most sports (except for netball).

7. I know you said one, but i can't decide between trust and a sense of humour - GOOD humour. I could never be with anyone too serious, they need to make me laugh and feel carefree. However, I think I'll have to go for trust because no matter how hilarious someone is, our commitment couldn't hold without being honest with each other.

8. Call in and say I won't be at the meeting and take the poor thing to the vet - I love all animals to bits and it would be cruel to just leave the sick kitten there.

9. Spiders - I hate them more than anything else and they positively terrify me. I'm basically a mild arachnophobic.

10. Envy cos my parents are kind of old and tight and don't let me do anything, and all of my friends can do whatever they like and are kind of more popular than me...

11. I'm not too sure right now, but maybe a lawyer or scientist or something. i have big ambitions for my job, but am not really surewhich subjects I really like best, and I also love languages.

15. Well, I'm already a member of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and love that cos I know I'm making a big difference to the lives of all creatures big and small. It saves millions of poor, deprived animals every year and gives them a good home with caring people.

I would have to say Dumbledore in a way...I protect people a lot( more mentally than physically) I am brave I would say...I also help other people when they need it.

Lupin~ Lupin in the 3rd book blew me away! He was the most supportive character in the book even so himself being a werewolf and all.....He was always there for Harry and Lupin opened up to Harry.

This is a hard question. I'm a mixture of many characters, but I think I'm mostly like Hermione. I'm always trying not to brake the rules, trying to be well-behaved, but also to do the right things and so sometimes I also have to breake those rules. I don't have to work hard to be good at school, but I have to work hard to be accepted and to find good friends.

He's my friend and so I will do everything I can to help him!

Well, this seems like a good place to get started

1. You are a prefect, and you see someone from your own house plotting a prank against another house. What would you do?

I'd probably find out what the prank was first. If it's not going to cause anyone any real trouble, then I'd probably just let them get on with it. If it was, then I don't think I'd say anything to them directly. I don't like confrontation I don't think I'd be chosen as a prefect in the first place!

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?

Well, I do have a bit of a wicked streak, so my first reaction would be steal it! But no...erm...I don't know. I'd probably just make do without it. Get it second hand!

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- something other than his looks)

Pretty indifferent really. I'm more interested in the other characters that support the story.

4. What character do you most relate to and why?

Ginny, I think. I really like the new direction her character has taken in Half Blood Prince. She's so much stronger now, and she's had to fight to get the recognition that she's always wanted from Harry. Strong, independent, doesn't need anyone to validate her. I guess that appeals to the feminist in me - hence the username

5. A friend needs your help but it's at a really cost to yourself (in time, money etc). What do you do?

Erm...time-wise, yes. No problem. If it involves cash, nah...I'm not very generous

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself?

Ooh, toughy. I think I like that I'm a pretty strong person, I don't need to be surrounded by people all the time to feel good about myself. I guess I don't like that I'm not very generous, it kinda makes me look bad when it's my turn to get the drinks in!

7. What ONE trait do you look for most in a potential boy/girlfriend?

Honesty.

I don't think I'd go to a petstore. They're not vets, so I wouldn't waste the time. I can't stand cruelty to animals though, so I'd probably knock the guys teeth out. What was I saying earlier about not liking confrontation?

They're both pretty annoying. These on the fence answers suck though, don't they? The superior because of circumstance then. At least the other guy has a real reason to feel smug.

Ask what I can help in, but of course I would do it in an anonymous way, so that if we get busted I won't be ratted out, because my contrivution would be anonymous.

Easy, ask around if anyone wants me to do their homework for a few galleons, or something of the kind. You know, save up the money for it by completing some odd-end jobs.

I think that he is a very intersting person, once you get to know him that is. He won't let on about his inner thoughts and feelings unless he really trustes you. If you gain his trust you'll get to meet the real him, and it'll be the real him that you find is a great person. Plus, he's loyal and a great friend. With him, your life will never be a bore.

4. What character do you most relate to and why?

I think I relate the most with Hermione. I worry alot about my grades, and I'm really scared of failing at a class. I study and make sure that I pass with a high grade. But at times I find myself looking for adventure, for something aside form books, and that's where my friends come in (just like Hermione's friends.) I also seem to be a bit more mature than others for my age.

5. A friend needs your help but it's at a really cost to yourself (in time, money etc). What do you do?

I would do my best to help them out, but if I can't I'll give them another option for solving the problem.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself?

Well.....toughie. I guess that what I like the most about myself is that when I really want something to come out good (food, project, etc.) I apply myself and I'm not content until it reaches my standards. I like that I'm hard-working and responsible. The least that I like about myself is that I'm a bit greedy, and when I do favors I do them i the future thought of how I'll be repaid.

Love.

Look at the pet-person sale: "It wasn't my problem either, but you don't see me turning away from the kitten do you?..Thanks mate, thanks for nothing." I turn around and leave the petshore, call on to my meeting and tell them that I'm stuck because of something or other that I'll be a bit late. I call a friend and drop the cat off there and tell my friend to take the kitty to the vet, that I owe my friend one and that I'll repay him/her in the future.

Irrational living beings.

Pride. I don't like to ask for things, much less beg. I hate people throwing to my face about how they have done things for me , blah blah blah. I guess I just have alot of pride.

My mom, because of how strong she is and how she's struggled to raise my brother and I with such good morals.

To find the love of my life, have a family, be happy, and ofcourse, have good money to spend on them (family).

That's a no brainer, I'd go to my sister's play, I'm sure my friend is bound to put another party the next week. And maybe if my sister's play ends in time, I could still catch the last few hours of my friends party.

S.P.E.W , everything else is something that seems an even bigger lost cause.

To be invisible, and perform magic. Because those are all the things you need to fight right? By performing magic you can create potion, and by been invisible..no one can find you! hehehe.

Well since I'm a witch I'd cast the "Flame Freezing" charm so that no one burns in there.

If i was a simple muggle, I would immediately call 911 and see if I can get in there and help.

1. I would probably first confront the person and try to put a stop to whatever is going on. If that didn't work I would get other prefects to help, and most likely let the head of my house know what is being planned.

1. Depends on my mood. If I'm feeling great, then I'd probably go along with it. If I'm cranky (aka missed a meal), then I'd snap and tell them to stop and deduct points.

1. If it was a serious prank that hurt the other kid, I would get the kid from my house in trouble. If it was just a silly prank and there was no harm done, i would probably look away that once.

2. Save up my money until I can afford it.

3. Harry Potter is a very couragous person even though he is still a teenager. He has definently proved himself amoung hogwarts and the wizarding community as a true hero. Even though he has a lot of tough times, he always seems to prove himself and come out in the end stronger than he was before.

4. I think I most relate to Ginny because I usually have a strong will and do not like to pushing around from people. I also (like Ginny) don't like to feel inferior to boys just because I'm a girl.

5. If it is something serious or life threatning to my friend, I'd help them all that I can. If it is something really stupid or a waste of their time and mine, I'd probably tell my friend that they need to forget about it and find something else to worry about.
