I did a couple of searches , so hopefully this hasn't been done, and hopefully I'm putting this in the right place!

OK, what I'm interested in is, how big is your Harry Potter merchandise collection? What do you own that is HP related, outside of the books and/or films? I am interested in what's in your collection, what you'd like to own, and also, I'm just really interested in finding out what's out there! Passerby has some really neat stuff, hopefully she'll respond to this!

I'll confess first, just so you know I am serious here!

I have:

1. A little Harry on a broomstick, which hangs from a thread off my rearview mirror.
2. Three cookie tins from PS/SS
3. A Snape, Draco, and Hermione poster from PoA.
4. Figurines of Hagrid and Fluffy
5. Poster books for all four films
6. Several magazines, including the sought-for original Vanity Fair issue on PS/SS


I would like some of the fun tee-shirts for HP I've seen on cafepress.com, especially "Weasley's Wizard Wheezes." I also think it would be fun to have a Time-Turner pendant.

I only own all the films and books and a couple of lego sets from when I was younger...I am not that obsessive with posessions.

Wow, that's a really impressive list. Those potions are awesome, where did you get them from? What do they taste like i wonder??? I also have to add i have every book on audio CD and the first three on audio tape....I guess i'm more of a reader, hearer, watcher thand a groupie like you Janet!

All I own that is Harry Potter-related are the books!

I know, I am such a terrible fan, right!? I should be out there buying HP merchandise and supporting the cause, right!? Nah. I have no use for little Harry Potter and Hermione Granger action figures and stuff...it is just not my type of thing. I own all of the books and the Sorcerer's/Philospher's Stone DVD, but that is all.

OH! I lied. I just remembered about the Harry Potter Quidditch board game. I got it years ago for Hannukah. I have played it only a couple of times...it was honestly not what I was expecting. I was very excited when I unwrapped it, though! I made my mom and brother play it with me that night....I have only played it maybe once or twice since....

Does anybody know what game I am talking about?

David, I know exactly the game you're talking about! My niece got it for Christmas a few years ago when I was one of the "Harry Potter? Why?" people. Definately changed my colors now, haven't I?

I did find a couple more figurines that I have that I didn't mention - a larger Harry on a broom, a medium sized Hermione. Oh, and a stuffed Fluffy. Why my husband got that for me, I'll never know; but Fluffy's sitting on the shelf with the rest of it. I have a pin I got when I preordered the book, but it's boring. I've got those silly plastic glasses that my son wears from time-to-time. I made a bookmark . . . it's pretty cool. I'll try to scan it later to show you (toot my own horn). One of my friends and I are making a Harry Potter scrapbook, as well, filled with our critiques of the books and movies, the actors, our information (houses and such) . . .basically all fun things Harry Potter. We've got the first page done. Sigh. We're slow.

Nick, the potions are of a "home-made" sort. We got the phials at a craft store, filled them with water and food coloring (or just water for the VTM), slapped a cork in them and VOILA! Potions. They look quite impressive against all of that other stuff.

Ha ha You had me thinking they were proper merchandise, REAL veritaserum!!! And David i'm surprised at you, you don't even own the movies!!! Just joking, i agree there is no use for the little Harry Potter action figures...it would be quite cool if they could cast real spells or something, also you have to get an invisibilaty cloak....four years away scientists are saying!

I fogot to mention one more thing. I actually completely forgot about it because I did not actually purchase it. Well, my school has a carnival every year for Homecoming. They have tons of rides and those games that they have at amusement parks. You know, the "try to throw the bean bag into the clown's mouth" and the "shoot the most water into the center of the target" types of games that cost $5.00 per try and you only end up winning half the time...in which case you win a $0.99 stuffed animal toy!? But they are so addictive......

Anyway, I played the basketball shot game at the carnival to try to win a stuffed animal for my girlfriend. I made the shot in, but I then realized that they had no teddy bears -- just stuffed Hagrids! So, I got the stuffed Hagrid, and to save the embarrassment of giving it to my girlfriend, I gave it to my little brother instead.

Hmmmm....I wonder where it went

Wow, I don't feel at all like I'm an HP fan now, hehe.
But, I'll count the books as HP 'stuff'.

*So, I have the books 2-6, I'm still waiting to buy the first one.
*I have this Harry Potter collectable's guide that I traded with one of my friends.
*Another friend got me a free 2005 HP calander.
*An HP Azkaban poster...which I don't really like, but it's still on my closet just because it's...Harry Potter.
*About a 5 in. Hagrid statue doll..something, which my sister just happened to knock down a few minutes ago.
*And the Elizabeth Shafer HP Analyzing book that I had to tear and scratch my friend's hands to get a hold of.
Oh yeah, and the 1-4 DVDs & VHS.

So, maybe it's not a lot of stuff, but I'm working on it, heh. And Passerby, whoa, you're lucky. I've been begging my mom to order Hermione's wand, and more from this little guide that was inside Azkaban's DVD. But sadly, it hasn't worked.

Resilda-my best friend (pepperimp on here, though she's never on here. . .) has Hermione's wand, and I must say it is BEAUTIFUL! It even, sorry to say, is better than my dear Professor Snape's wand. Keep holding out for a birthday present!

I have a couple of those page-a-day calendars because we're using the pictures in our scrapbooks. Actually, all of the calendars and sticker-books I have are for that purpose, so I didn't list them.

I did forget-however-to mention my HP build-a-bears. I have a dog in a graduation robe with one of those black wigs named "Sniffelus Snape." A frog in a black graduation robe named "Voldewart." A cow in a frumpy purple and red dress with a red wig named "Mooly Weasley." I have ideas for a few more, but build-a-bear is expensive! It's a special ocassion type of place.

Man. . .I have a lot of HP stuff, don't I? Maybe I should find a better place to store it.

Well, now that I think on it, I don't have that many things...There's all four movies (special edition), a huge movie poster of Goblet of Fire, Harry on a broom, Snape, Hagrid with Norbert, and Ron with Scabbers ornaments hanging in my room, ummm...all the pictures of Harry Potter that I could find from the internet, a shirt from Hot Topic that has Harry on it, a whole bunch of the Lego sets, a 365 day calandar of GoF, and I'm soon getting a licence plate that says DIAGN ALY (when I get a car, that is ) That's more than I thought I had...

For those of you who have posters. . .where did you get them? I have lots of HP photos printed out but I've wanted proper posters for some time.
And where did everyone else get their merchandise? (book store, online, etc.)

Most of my books I bought new. Ygraine sent me the British paperback of PoA from Scotland. The poster I have had to be special-ordered from moviegoods.com, as it's not possible to get it in a store now, if it ever was. It's a little pricey! One thing I like about moviegoods, though, is that you can get the actual posters that were framed at theatres, to show the movie off. Those are limited. Right the PoA theatre poster sells for $39.99. I'd love to have this poster of Gary Oldman, but can't afford it right now.

I don't really have that much Harry Potter stuff... I have the books and the movies and the Socerer's Stone video game (which is my brothers), but that's it. I always kind of wanted a couple of posters, but most of the ones I like are really expensive and I don't really think they're worth it right now.

Ok, i have:

When Andis' little brother was in primary school for 3 years in a row my mum bought him a harry potter mug (I think she forgets what she buys people over the years), so this year Andi bought me one as a joke - I love it!, and all of the pin badges from PS (although my gryffindor one broke, I guess that it just wasn't meant to be, especially since my Ravenclaw one seem to refuse to come off one of my favorite jumpers ). Oh and a mini hedwig but thats about it

I crave Sirius' wand, it looks so ornate and have searched and searched for a pygmy puff

8. I got a wizard hat free when I went to see PoA in the cinema !!
9. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore(the old one) and the Hogwarts crest badges that I won in Harry Potter Christmas crackers a few years ago!!
10. Griffondor scarf that i got free when I went to see GoF in the cinema(the scarf is a bit small for me though ).

Although I am a huge Potter fan, I don't own that much stuff. I have of course all six books, all four movies, andbassically nothing else. I don't have a room stuffed like some people(there is nothing wrong with it) but that's not me.
