I'm right handed, ut I know a lot of people who were left handed I was curious how many people write with what hand.

I am right handed- but i'd love to be able to write with both hands,the name for that is ambidextrous What a great name- i would love to be able to say that i'm ambidextrous, just because i love that word! I know quite a few people who are left handed.What a random topic this is!

i know quite a few people who are left handed or can write with both hands , but i can't *g* if i try it looks like a 4-year-old had written it

i am right handed, yup! i only know a few people who write with their left hand and i had a teacher once who was ambidexteros or however you spell that word that means they can write with left and right. i can draw really well with my left hand though, but when i write with my left, it's a little messy .

I prefer to write with my right hand,but I were practising to write with my other hand whan I was young and now I can also write with my both hands.

I use my right hand for everything most of the time, but I am able to write with my left hand as well. It feels weird when I do it because I'm not used to it, but I can print, handwrite (cursive), pretty much do anything left handed that I can do right handed... it just feels awkward!

Wow! this is interesting! it would be nice to learn how to write woith my left hand. when i tried, it came out all messy, and it looked like a kindergardeners writing. ha, i type with both of my hands though, and so do most of the people that i know.

Oddly enough I am naturally amidextrious. I found out early on that I could use either hand equally well. When I was 5 I think I put my right hand through a window and that hand was in a cast for months. I found out then that I could write equally well with my left hand....odd but no big deal. Then I started realizing that if I put concious effort in it I could use my left hand to do anything I normally used my right hand for. Now over 20 years later I don't conciously use either hand. Depending on what position I am in and what activity I am doing will dictate what hand I use.

am am right handed although i would love to be able to write with both hands. my mother can work with both hands and i believe write with them as well and i just wish i could do the same. it might make things easier and perhaps quicker too, but i don't know.

It's odd - all of my close relatives excluding me are left-handed, and my mum is ambidextrous! I naturally write with my right hand, but I am able to write with both - something odd I clearly inherited! I like it though!

My school has a careers and logical testing for the pupils in Year 10, and I took it last week! One of the activities was to draw as many straight lines joining two dots together as you could! Then after about two minutes they stopped us, and made us do exactly the same thing but with the opposite hand! Whilst the whole hall was laughing and cringing at their wobbly lines, I remained quiet and didn't find this a problem at all! !

Lol. I'm left handed. I am about one of the only five in my class. I love being left handed though, but I love trying to be right handed, it is so funny to see me trying to write things with my right hand. But I am right handed for scissors. And left handed for throwing things. And left handed for eating yoghurts or soup, but right handed for brushing my teeth. It is craxy. I think I am strange lol.

I'm right handed, and I have to say that would be my wand hand, too. However, it would be terribly cool to be ambidextrous. For those of you who don't know, it means to be able to write with both hands.

I am a lefty!!! the only one in my family and class there is noone in my grade who is a lefty!! and then again there are only 30 girls in my grade!! lol i know abunch of lefties from my old school! but that's it none of my friends are lefties, well only one but that's it!! i want my kids to be lefties!! i like being different there is only one other person on this topic who is a lefty! oh and my friends bro and mom are lefties! that's it oh and my friends dad is ambidextris or however it's spelled!! lol

This is a really weird question! I'm right-handed and also amazed by the low percentage of left-handed ones! Centuries ago, those who wrote with their left hand were supposed to be witches or wizards and they were connected to evil. Just an historical information!

Im right handed in absolutely everything, If I tried with my left Id probly have a seizure. I tried writing with my left hand once and it took me about 5 minutes to write my name, which i am not lying.

yah like i can write with both, but i usually use my right.. cuz my handwritings better with my right hand. but when i use a wand i'd probably just use either one.. like just hold it and cast a spell..

I eat neater with my left hand and I can do everything normal with my left hand-except for my writing.

i write with my right hand but i try some times with my left it didn't work to well. like i tried it on a test at school and the letters looked weird so the teacher gave me a D- atleast it is a passing grade but i think i am going to stick with writing with my right hand.

I write with my right hand, but I do almost everything else with my left. I don't know why, but that's the way it works out, though I could never write with my left hand, I've tried before and you wouldn't know I was trying to write a word, you'd think I was scribbling.

I'm a righty. But there are 3 people in my family that are left handed. It would be so great to be ambidextrous. I can't write at all with my left hand its horrible. I know a few people who can write with both hands though.

I am right handed, as is the majority of my family except for my uncle. My dad is sort of ambidextrous because he writes with his right hand but plays sports with his left hand.

I'm a righty. I've attempted to learn to right with my left, but I've failed dismally. Which proved a very bad thing for me because a couple of weeks ago I was playing volleyball and I broke the pointer finger of my right hand. I had to tape my pointer finger to my middle finger and it was really hard to write or type or even eat! So hopefully I'll try to learn again so if it ever happens I'll be able to take care of myself.

Right handed. according to ancient literature and religious beliefs, left handed people are supposidly in conjunction with the devil. EVIL people! interestingly enough, although im right handed, i swap my knife and fork around when i eat because i cannot eat the normal right handed way. i end up making a mess.

Well... I'm both handed!! Well, i can write with any of my hands, identical. Is like, today i write with my left one, tomorow with my right one.. Doesn't matter, sometimes teachers are like "Uh.. sorry, weren't you yesterday writing with your left hand, what happened..." And, after like 2 years of practice (i just had a lot of spare time ) I managed to write with both my hands at once... Thats odd.... And now i'm practicind a new skill.. Writing with both of my hand, but two different words, or phrases, and i quite manage it, but i'm only at the beginning and i'm not quite that good... And i'm talking seriously.. And no i'm not from the X-men team, cause eveybody i know asks me that!!

I am a south paw (left handed for those who didn't know), even though I am somewhat ambidextrous for example; I use scissors with my right hand. Kinda' weird huh?

i am all right handed except for guitar which i play lefty- it is kind of odd that i play it that way and it is also more dificult to get a lefty guitar

Sadly, I am right-handed and only right-handed. I rarely use my left for skillful activities. I shoot pool with my right, shoot a ball with my right, through a ball with my right, write with my right, etc.

My dad is both though. He was born a lefty, but can use both easily.

wheew... there are so far 7 left handed people and 8 ambidextrous pips.. well.. i'm left handed..i can do right but it's just disastrous and.. well.. not right.. my sister's a left-handed person too.. and i should say i'm lucky my grade school teacher didn't hit my hand just for being left-handed..

I write with my right hand but my Pop is teaching me to write and draw with both hands at the same time it is so cool but the drawing with both hands is hard but i really want to be able to do it and cant wit tell i can it is goibg to be so much fun.

Im both. I can write right or left but most of the time i write with my right hand the only time i usually write left handed is if im bored.

I'm a lefty, and i absolutely love it! the only part that i don't like much about it is the fact that something after writing too much part of my shoulder hurts but that's because i write kind of sideways

whoever are both handed i think are really lucky! i reacon that would be pretty fun to be both handed. I however can't write one single letter with my left (i'm shocking at doing things with my left hand). So yes i am right handed, nothing more, nothing less but i wish i was both handed as i have said before but it will never happen.

Um, mine's complicated... When I was four, I was left-handed, when I was six, I was ambidextrous (could use both hands equally well), and now I'm right handed, but beginning to switch back to my left! I mean, I can write pretty well with my left hand, but I'm not comfortable doing so.

I am right-handed! But both would sooo be better! It can be very useful, like if your one hand gets tired of writing or eating (lol) you just swop hands! And I hate feeling totally dumb in one hand... stupid lame limb!
