I like the bit in Curse of the Black Pearl when Jack and Elizabeth are on the island and Jack says "But why is the rum gone!", i think it is so funny the way he says it!

Yeah now that you mentioned it I remember noticing that too Cursed Magic. Here I thought I just wasn't paying close enough attention to the preview. It was funnier, but I've noticed in other movies scenes that were in the previews but not the movie. It drives me nuts.

Yes, I agree; I like the trailor version much better. When that scene came I was expecting it and then it said it different, and I dont know it sounded weird.

Most movies do that because they release the trailors sometimes before they are done filming, or editing. Most likely with this film, they filmed several scenes with different versions of that line and picked that one for the movie, but they submitted the other one for the trailor before they picked it. Sometimes they will make the one that sounds better in the trailor to grab your attention so you go see the movie, and then once your in the movie and its differnent.

One of my favorite parts is when Will asks for Jack and a lady slaps him and tells him to relay the message to Jack. And when Elizabeth and Jack are on the boat and he keeps telling her to 'persuade him' I thought that part was funny.

I thought of another funny part the part when Jack gets the beer and gives Gibbs the smaller one and tells him that's all.
Then there's the part where they are all fighting an Elizabeth is chucking rocks at them then says 'Oh the heat' and pretends to faint and no one even looks around.
And there's the part where the two pirates Rageti and Pintel? (can't think of their exact names at the moment) were running around with the empty chest.

I love the part at the beginning where Jack shoots the bird on the coffin. Or when they talk about the rum when they have to give it up. there is also the part where Jack shoots the monkey when he is giving it to the weird lady. My teacher is into movies and stuff and has a list of movies on his board. The new movie is Pirates of the Carribean 3: At Worlds End. I am pretty sure thats it.

His family may have been like Pirate legends at there time.

Well what will happen in the Third Movie..

Well Cutler Becket will be controlling Davey Jones because he has his heart. And they obviously look for good old Jack. Mind you in know he comes back but how does he get of that Kraken...

Sea Turtles SeriouslySirius. He'll rope that same couple of sea turtles and water ski on them.
Elizabeth will get kidnapped by Sau what's-his-name and Will and Jack and maybe Barbossa will go after her. And I'm sure Jack will shoot Jack the monkey a few times.

They find a way to get the hear out of the hands of Beckett so the pirates can keep on partying, Jack sails away on his ship, Will and Elizabeth get married after Elizabeth proves to Will with various actions, and removing doubt from the audience, she loves him, not Jack. I'm willing to accpet Jack and Elizabeth as long as it's shown somehow that Jack loves Elizabeth more than himself, and Elizabeth felt more than lust for him.

I agree with you 100% on that Ellen. If Jack and Liz truly loved one another and Will would be happy than i would be ok with it. But I am sure Will and Elizabeth will end up together because for crying out loud it is a disney movie we have to get the happy ending.

Very good point, beekyk2001, and I agree with you! Will and Elizabeth will be together, 'Jack and Elizabeth' together is just being used for tension merely a distraction to pro-long the joyful wedding of Will and Elizabeth.

Now, in the second film, Elizabeth's dad doesn't seem to trust/like Will that much but at the end of the first movie he was really happy for his daughter. . . so what's go on there?!

i think Elizabeth and Will will stay together as when Elizabeth kissed Jack it was to cuff him to the ship. the kiss was a distraction..

I don't think that Cpt. Jack is dead. But I do think that Elizabeth has ruined her relationship with Will. She is going to havve some serious explaining to do. But I do however, think that she has someting for Jack because the Compass kept pointing at Jack when she thought of what she wanted. Also their kiss..that was definantly not just a frendly kiss. I think she does like him in some way. I think that the resoution between her and Will isn't going to be easy.

I also think (after reading this thread) that Tia Dalma and Davy Jones were in love it is very possible and she seems to know an awful lot about that situation. I also think that Elizabeth was not the first to wear that dress. Because when the ship is sunk and the dress is floating around if you look at Davy Jones's reaction he seems saddened and greif stricken. You can see it in his eyes. so maybe the woman he loved wore that dress or one very similar.

i dont think that cpt. jack is dead either. but what i think is that when elizabeth held the compass and it pointed at jack, it was pointing behind jack to the direction of where will was coming from. i just cant see elizabeth and cpt. jack as a couple.

Hey! I just looked the whole Captain Jack thing on Google, and I found that he (well Johnny Depp) is going to do the third movie (At Worlds End). However, I guess he could come back as a ghost or something like that.

I liked the movie, but at the end it all seemed to set up the third movie a little too much. But that's just me talking.
