Oh, ok, great! Personally, I don't think that there was ever a relationship between them. Sirius may be a trouble maker, but he has a good heart and cares deeply for his friends. Bellatrix is an evil witch whose only devotion is to the Dark Lord.

Although... now that I think about it, Sirius was quite the ladies' man at school. And, Bellatrix, although evil and heartless, is described as strikingly beautiful...

So, I guess its possible that they could have gone on a date or two while at school. Although, I personally think the only type of relationship the two could have shared would have to have been purely physical. Sort of, one hot person deserves another.

Anyways, anthing is possible. I just don't see them as at all compatible.

I agree with Lily Potter that the ship is unlikely..I also have a few more reasons.
1. She was in Slytherin and he was in Gryffindor
2. They were COUSINS...in case you all didn't know lol..
I think that is illegal to date your cousin lol.. but Sirius was a rebel so who knows?

Well I for one must disagree with this pairing. If you haven't noticed not only are the from different houses, but bella kills sirius so i don't think there was anything between them.

EW! No. It's not possible, wanna know why? For one, they are related! And I know it's one of those 'keep everything pure blood' things, but I mean come on! That's just a disturbing thought and second, they hated each other. JKR has made that well known in the books.

I can see where you are coming from with this but I don't see this happening because:

1. She was his cousin, ewwww, and in most places in the muggle world it's illegal to be in a relationship with someone you're that closely related to, but I don't know how the magic world feels about it.

2. She killed him, that kind of ruins a relationship, unless you are implying that something happened before and Bella wanted revenge.

I've always seen their relationship as something great and terrible, difficult to explain even by themselves... a sort of love/hat relation, not as 2 lovers, but as 2 faces of the same medal.

They fighted each other as the fight of two Titans, of 2 Novas. They couldn't help but doing it. And they NEEDED it; they needed each other.

That doesn't mean they loved each other and blah blah blah...

Yes, Bellatrix killed him. But I think that then, in a little corner of her heart, she felt so terribly empty because of that... I think she sit on a chiar and looked at something about her childhood and thought she hated Sirius because he made her kill him! She needed to fight him, even if they both knew their relation would end with the death of one.

I love this thought about Bellatrix and Sirius... I think it's one of the most powerful feeling in the whole saga... maybe it deserved a little more space.

I really don't think Bellatrix loved Sirius. She is so cold-hearted, could she really love anyone? Plus, as already metioned, Sirus was related to Bellatrix. In OoP, Sirius expresses his deep hatred of his family. I do not think Sirius would lie to Harry about something like that. If Bellatrix really loved Sirius, she wouldn't have killed him, would she?

I agree with this - Sirius may have been a bit of trouble here and there but that does not make him evil like Bellatrix. Besides, weren't they cousins or something? Or, somehow related? that would be a little bit on the strange side i guess. Quite an interesting theory, but i don't think that would happen. Could you imagine the amount of hate-mail JK would get if she wrote that?

Hold on a minute... I was under the impression Bellatrix and Sirius didn't even go to SCHOOL at the same time. Black hated his family, and if you hate it I don't think you'd go and fall in love. Besides, Black is so... nice and she's so.... cold-hearted. I totally think Sirius would have never been in love with Bellatrix. Of course, only JK Rowling knows for sure. Maybe we should ask her. Ew! Sorry, I just got the weirdest image in my head ever, which is what happens when you have a seriously disturbing teenage mind. Moving on, I really don't think that there is anything between Sirius and Bellatrix, or that there ever was, mostly since the fact that they're pretty close cousins (like first cousins, not like close, you know), and secondly, Sirius really did hate everything that reminded him of what his family was like. Since he ran off at the age of 16, and since most relationships don't form until around then anyways, I don't think he ever really had a relationship with Bellatrix. Besides she's way too cool for him. I mean, how many people are named Bellatrix? Exactly. Woah, there's someone, a real person, named Bellatrix Potter, how cool! This may have been previously stated, but Bella is Sirius' cousin. And seeing as how the entirety of the Blacks despise all things Sirius, I don't think there would be a possibility of any, erm, tension.. between Bella and Sirius other than mutual hate.

I really dont see this...anywere as happening EVER because Belatrix killed Sirius in OOTP....now if there was love there she wouldn't kill him in OOTP, and Bellatrix showed no sign of hesitation when she killed Sirius....I don't see this as happening because wasn't Bellatrix a part of the Black family through the Family tree in the House of Black...and wasn't it said that if Sirius hadn't wrote that will to Harry the house would be left for Bellatrix Lestrange....so yeah that would kinda be wrong to see love if Bellatrix and Sirius are related some way

I don't see this happening. First off, they're cousins. I'm not saying that never happens, but Bellatrix is just evil, and Sirius is good. Not to mention the fact that Bellatrix killed him. I don't think Bellatrix could ever love Sirius, not even in a family way. She mocked Harry after she did it, and only showed emotion when Voldemort came. It's not going to happen.

Um...aren't they cusins or something? And not by marriage- I recall Sirius stating very clearly to Harry in Order of the Phoenix that they are cusins.... That would be so messed up.

I agree with you LilyPotter. Sirius and Bellatrix came from two opposite sides; good and evil! I can not see them ever having a relationship. Besides, if there was long lost love between them, how could Bellatrix have bought herself to kill Sirius? Bellatrix also mocked Harry after she killed Siruis, and said "Ah, did you love him Potter?" I realize that they were brought up in the same environment, but they choose different paths. Sirius ran away from the dark stuff, Bella embraced it. And I think he told us in OoTP that he hated his family. And they were cousins, that would be weird. It just doesn't seem likely.

Sirius hated anything that reminded him of his family

Ok, i dont know about this question. For one reason i do not believe Sirius and Bella could date only because they are COUSINS! and secoundly they are soo different from one another and another thing is that Bella killed Sirius! So this is why i dont really think they should date.

I can't see it -- besides the obvious point that they're closely related, Sirius pointed out (I think in OOTP) that he hated his family except for his cousin Andromeda and his uncle who was a blood traitor in his family's eyes (the one who left him the money that let him be independant at 17). Not to mention Bellatrix has the "pure-blood mania" of the Black family -- I just don't think she would go for him, or him for her.
