lol it's a great idea, I like it. Even though crookshanks is not a real cat, I think their relationship could work I don't think Filch would be too pleased though

Although, Crookshanks is a good kitty, who helped save Sirius' life and get him into the Hogwarts castle... And Mrs. Norris is a snitch that is only there to spy for Filch and get students in trouble.

But, seeing as there are a lack of cats in this series, I suppose it is possible!

Yeah Filch wouldn't, well he might, cause he cares so much about that cat and if she was happy then he would be happy I think, although he would give Hermione a hard time with it. I think Hermione would be uncomfortable but she would accept it. Ron and Harry would just be like, we have a problem.

Well, while I have no solid reason for disliking it, Mrs Norris is a demonic cat with red eyes and a huge brain... But then, Crookshanks isn't a normal cat either, so sure. I like it. It's cute. Why not?

Mrs Norris is a demonic cat, I quite agree. Maybe she would change her evil nature if she fell in love with Crookshanks. Together I think they will make quite a force to be reckoned with, but how old is Mrs Norris, I always imagined her as being quite oldish.

Crookshanks and Mrs. Norris is a totaly possible relationship. While I'm sure there are other cats at the school, they're the only ones we ever hear about, and they both seem to roam around whenever and whereever they please so I'm sure they've run into each other before.
It'd be like opposites attracting though. Crookshanks is more of a rule breaker and Mrs. Norris is the rule enforcer.

Well one of the SHIPS that was hinted in HBP was Filch/Pince (er, the librarian, I think her name was Pince). Anyway, if Filch, in the throes of his relationship starts to ignore Mrs. Norris, I can see the latter looking for company.

I want to clarify something. But Mrs. Norris and Crookshanks are real cats. I have no idea why anyone here would think other wise.
There might be some confliicts if these two cats got together. But if it worked out it would be kind of cute to see what they do together.

Hehe! That would be quite helarious I must say! Imagine if Filch found the cats together, I can imagine he would act in a fatherly fashion and become upset if, let's say, Crookshanks didn't pick Mrs. Norris up on time for a date .
On the subject of Crookshanks being male, I am quite sure that this cat is a male; I suppose they could still be together however it wouldn't be the classic romance . . not like Lady and the Tramp (Disney) for example .
I just thought of something funny, imagine if there were many cats in Hogwarts and there was a Pride and Prejudice situation . . Crookshanks could be Mr. Darcy and McGonnagal and Mrs. Norris could compete for Elizabeth's role .

Nope, Crookshanks is indeed a male cat. It's okay though, I used to be confused about Pigwidgeon's gender. It happens sometimes. But I think Crookshanks is too good for Mrs. Norris. She's a little scraggly if you ask me...

Lol, I've always liked the idea of this ship as well, though I think it might consitute cheating on Mrs. Norris's part...she and Flich are so close....eerily close. I think it would be a love/hate relationship as cat relationships go, but that they could hiss and meow and overcome their differences to make cat love--b/c surely they realize they are the only two prominent/named cats in the books, how else can they get some? Lol...

It would be interesting to see if either would condescend to even like the other. The most intriguing bit of this for me is that I strongly suspect that both of them are at least part kneazle (sp?). (That's from the creatures book.) So any kittens resulting might have interesting properties.

OMG!!! that is such a great idea! Crookshanks and Mrs. Norris would be really great together. Since they both have their own way of communication towards people and animals, they could be a team for crime-fighting as well as a couple. This Rocks!

The wild but loveable Crookshanks comes along and attempts to woo the haughty Mrs Norris; fails, fails and fails again but eventually succeeds. With the arrival of true love, both animals mellow each other out, then all the cats live happily ever after! It almost deserves a fanfic!
