ok, i saw a lot of topics on music, favorite kinds of music, shows, television...but none on music videos! so i thought, 'why not start one?'. I dont think its against the rules, its not an individual artist/band/show topic so i figured its okay .

so here's the question...do you or have you watched any music videos? and if so, what are some of your favorite ones? it could be by any artist or band and can be about anything. please tell why you like it or dislike the music videos. this isnt meant to offend anyone so dont offend others for liking certain videos .

okay ill start when this topic gets some replies.

Here are some in no praticular order and why...

Refused - New Noise: This video back in 97-98 is a cult classic, the only from refused's only album, the shape of punk to come, and defined teh Post-Harcore (now called "emo") scene as we know it today.

AFI - Third Season: a true punnk classic, involving steps, sloun ice cream trucks, and kids fighitng the power. AMEN.

Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine. both hardcore and electronica, its an ambient mix of passion, beauty, and brash metal. viola!

i like watching music videos.
ummm... alltime favorite music videos are.
Dead on Arrival by Fall Out Boy. it shows the "real" them.
and ummm..... i dunno "dance, dance" by fall out boy is cool......
hmmm....... ohhh... "DOA" by Foo Fighters. its really weird/funny.

my favorite music videos are all the fall out boy music videos! my favorite one is Dance, Dance...hehe coolest nerds of all time! loved Dead on Arrival also, i agree it does show the real them. and A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More "Touch Me" was a cool video. Sugar We're Goin Down was...odd...deer boy? hehe well you cant say it wasnt unique, i liked it! and Grand Theft Autumn...perv much? haha just kidding, it was cool. and i saw this one video, i think it was called Miss Murder by AFI, that one was cool but i didnt get it, but oh well.

you wanna know what video i think totally sucks??? Paris Hilton's Stars Are Blind. hello, can we say porn star? it was just...bad. well i think shes a bad singer. to all the Paris fans, sorry i had to say it, i think she sucks and dont kill me (though i think there are few on this site, so i guess ill still be alive. ) .

I sometimes watch Music Videos but not often and when I do it is usually my ABBA or The Corrs DVD becuase they are my favourite music videos. I don't like some of Madona's music videos but I like her songs. I think music videos are ok when they aren't too revealing and there is a message or good to watch. Most are just horrible to watch which is why I don't watch them normally.

LOL..I don't like her video..its her rolling around in the sand..in Black and White..Come on seriously..The song is stupid too..and no I gaurentee that you will survive.

Miss Murder is a good song! I love it..but I haven't seen the whole video. I like the fall out boy videos..they are very original..I love A Little less Sixteen Candles..(Pete the Vampire) and Grand Theft Autumn/Where is your boy tonight. I like almost all the videos I see..except the dumb ones..and the singers I don't like..and the rap videos..they are so EW...lol..

Fall_out_Girl, I personally love Wake me up when septemper ends-video. I really like the song itself, and as I'm total sucker for love stories, it's just perfect video for me. But don't worry, I'm not going to kill you .It's good to have different oppinions.

Pink-Stupid Girl is good. I don't really like Pink as an artist, but I like the message the video shows.

I own about 20 music videos. I like all the Fall Out Boy music videos, especially Dance, Dance! I also like Pink's Stupid Girls, it sends a good message. I thought Dani California was a funny music video by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
That's all I can think about right now.

I own a large collcection of videos and live footage as well, usually when I buy a cd cause there's no vinyl. If I get the vinyl, then no video. usually I won't even watch it then. ruins my image of the album. if a cd though, then I usually will get a DVD of some sort.
