Felix Flilicis gives you the feeling of course of being optimistic about things and it also gives you luck. if you were to drink felix filicis what would you use it for and why? when would you use it and why?

For instance i think if i were to drink the potion i would use it if i were in peril or in trouble. then i could think probably more clearly and have better luck at the time. perhaps i might use it for getting better luck on a tes or something but i think i'd be more inclined to use it when i am in some sort of trouble or in danger. definitely more use for it then.

what do you think and what would you use it for and when. please discuss and enjoy.

I'd take the potion and then try to guess what would be in book 7 But then again, I might not want to know certain details until I read the whole book when it comes out.. Anywat, that's just a thought =)

I've been trying unsuccessfully to get a job in my very popular chosen field for over a year now, so I'd definately take Felix just before an interview. I'd also like to take just a sip if I had to face my daughters head teacher...she's a witch of the wicked kind!!!

yeah teachers can be that way i tell you. good luck with the job and whatnot and hopefully with a little 'luck' you might succed in getting it.

I'd probably take it before my first day at a new school that's coming up in about a month. Maybe before my family and I go shopping for our new cat. Before I was to send in an application to college, in quite a few years that one. If I could go back in time take it before my cat got sick. She had to be euphanized 'cause of a heart murmur(spelling?). Maybe before my family and I start looking for a new house. My sister gets her braces. things like that. Hope that wasn't too much.

i would probably use it during a school dance or something. maybe id get asked out at the last minute, haha.

or probably id take it if Fall Out Boy ever had a concert where i live, maybe they would come to my school and play there instead and we could become friends, haha. and me and them could talk about harry potter, since they like harry potter (well Pete Wentz does at least).

Well, I know this will sound kind of silly, but I would take it the day book 7 came out! That way, the book would sort of have to be good. And even if it isn't, I'd still like it because of the Felix Felicis! Yes, sad, I know, I don't have anything better to do with it.

I would want to use it on a test, like my AP exam next year, but I wouldn't because that would be cheating. I guess I'd save it until I really wanted something or was in trouble, like when crossing the street (I have a tendency to have very close calls with cars). I really don't know, I'd save it until a situation came up where I could use a bit of luck!

Id use half of it for a good game of Hockey and half of the next for school so I can not get into trouble and all that sort. And get good exams although thats cheating.

I would take it on an ordinary saturday and spend the whole day walking arround the city and see how manny cool and lucky things would happen to me. Plus that is pretty much what Slughorn said it should be used for.

hmm i would use it before i big basketball game or test. but if i had a guilty concience about doin that id probably just use it on an ordinary day...and watch it become extraordinary!

well if i had felix felicis then i would use it for a school dance or on like a date i guess hey i am 14 what else would i use it for and if not that then i would probably use it when i did something bad and use it so i don't get in to much trouble. that potion can really come in handy.

in the wizarding world, its considered cheating to use it for orgainized sporting events, or exams, and such. Like what Harry_Ginny777 said, I would use it for dates or dances. Especially if I was Ron, hehe. I thik felix would be more effective for that then even a love potion.

If I was harry, I would take when looking for the Horcruxes or when I was fighting Voldemort. I think that would be of best use, to help the whole wizarding world!

Exams might work, but I think I would use it to find out about the 7th book. I NEED to know what happens..

2) Go anyplace that's got a prize fro 10 millionth customer or whatever

I'd love the opportunity to take it right before going for an interview for my dream job. If I didn't get the job, it would mean that it wasn't meant to be and something even better than I could imagine would be coming along.

I'd like to use it before going into the set of a movie. Hopefully I'd be able to meet my favourite actor, land a role in a movie etc

I'd like to use it even just walking around a place like Disneyland. I feel magic in that place as it is, can you imagine if you added a little good fortune to a place like that?

I'd use good luck on my wedding day- with any luck I could go a whole meal in a white dress without spilling a thing on me!

Well I would use it on the day of my school disco that way a boy might actully ask me out. Then at the disco if my luck went on I would be chosen as best dressed (costume). And they would play all me favourite song. Then I might get a boyfriend.

For homework or studying....I'm swamped right now.

oh oh id also save it for like when i grow up...say for when i need to start thinking about college and stuff. i want to go to some place not in California, im thinking Princeton or something like that. to be either a pharmacist or a vetrinarian, so that i will get into that college. or on my first date or wedding day, so that a first date will be so wonderfully awesome, kisses in the rain, on the fourth of July with fireworks...all that. and my wedding day, so i choose someone right, with 'Kiss Me' by Rediscover at the reception...haha, but yeah.

I think I would use it before going on another canoe trip or wilderness outing. I am such the inside type of girl and I don't go outside much. I love to do it, but I don't like to get dirty and yucky feeling. Usually on these trips I am the only one to fall in the river, the only one to fall off the cliff (in the water mind you), the only one to be stung by a rabid bee, etc., etc.

I don't have much luck outdoors so for sure that is what I would take it for. Perhaps then I can actually walk away without looking like I wrestled a grizzly all day.

I would use it on the exams that they've just sprung on us at school. They're on wednesday and have only just told us. It would be really cool to use one of the potions in HP at my boring school too.

At first I thought about using Felix Felicis at exams, but I hope that they are not important enough. Maybe when I try to get to my favourite University, because that is something important enough to influence the rest of my life, much more that normal exams at school...

I know it is considered cheating, but I would use it on the A.C.T or the S.A.T. Gosh, I would do anything to get accepted to college. (*except Kill.. or will I? * )

I would definately have to use Felix Felicis before I did something totally insane like bujee jumping (again) and I would aslo use it to bring me luck at winning the lotto, boy what I could do with 55 million big ones! Since I pretty much am not too scared to do alot of stuff (except for the bunjee jumping bit that is ) I would just use this stuff for luck, we all need a little luck in our lives lol.
I would also have my son use it so that he could start making A's in Math instead of failing grades! lol

If it was in school, i'd have so that the teachers didn't give us any homework, because the whole class had worked well enough. To get off doing homework.
And if i was in danger, obviously so i could have a lucky escape.

I would definitely use it for an audition for the Met, or Lyric, or something big like that. I'm sure that would be totally against the rules, but as long as it worked right? (No I'm not in Slytherin!)

I'd use it while playing the lottey - or walking down the street to find random amounts of money people have dropped (i dropped £60 the other day so someone else must've had a lucky day)

I'd use it before I get on stage to do a performance. I'm not so sure I'd use it for luck in the performance, I think I'd me more likely to use it to calm my nerves.

I know exactly what I would use it for tomorrow! I am beginning a new school and I would really like to settle in nicely, enjoy my studies and make new friends. Sometimes making new friends is hard for me, especially with my quirky nature and tendency to talk about Harry Potter . So yes, I would use the Felix Felicis potion on my first day at my new school.
I was pondering Slughorn's absentmindedness in regard to the potions he concocted for his class. Did it not cross his mind that students may misuse potions if the gained access to them? Draco). Harry was not planning to sinisterly implement his vile of Felix Felicis; however if the potion had fallen into the wrong hands, its power could have been abused. O.K. off topic slightly! Sorry .

I tihnk I would use Felix when I was looking for a lottery ticket. I would be lucky enough to be able to find the place the ticket was being sold, and enlightened enough to be able to choose the right one!
That would change my life immensely.

Hmm, well I think I'll take it tomorrow right before my science test! (Science is most definitely not my strong point!) Because if I don't do good on it I'm going to be in big trouble by more than one person... i'd use it to pass all the classes i owe (it's a complicated situtation sort of like summer school but 5 times worse) that would be a total relief

I think I would take it before going to do something dangerous. I'd go sky diving, or climb a mountain, or jump over cars with a motorcycle just because I'd know I couldn't get hurt. Or maybe I'd just use it on a day of finals . It would definately come in handy that's for sure, lol.

I wouldn't use it to cheat, such as to get into a school I wanted to get into or for taking a test. Would it work anyway? It brings you luck, and from what I've read, its luck through your actions not something you have no control over (or almost none). Know what I mean? It can't make somebody do something for you, you'd have to "luck" your way into it by doing various things like what Harry did with Slughorn.

I'd probably use it every so often, like if I had to get somewhere and it usually is dangerous, I'd use it to avoid the danger....something like that...

i would use it before my dancing exams. especially R.A.D ones. (R.A.D ballet examiners are vvvvvvvveeeerrrrrryyy scary!!! lol) Then i could maybe get full marks for once!!!!

Just a note, I wasn't saying it would be bad if one of you were to use it on an exam or something like that. To me, it wouldn't be worth it since I'd do well on the exam but suffer the rest of my life or for a job career because I thought I could do well on a particular test. Such as, a real horrible law student gets some of this potion and takes it for the bar exam and passes with flying colors. After the exam he still is just like he was before, know what I mean?

good question, i guess i'd use it for when i apply to the college of my choice i'd want to get in so i guess it'd be usefull to have a bit of felix felicis just to make sure! lol or maybe when i see a certain someone again lol it wouldn't hurt to be just a bit lucky lol

That's really interesting. I never thought of it that way. Just imagine, somebody takes it on the day of an exam to be a medical doctor and they pass when they're really terrible at it! That would not be good at all, haha.

Yeh i know what you mean, but for (like i said above) a dancing exam, it wouldn't tecniqually improve the way you dance, just help you remember what comes next for example. As it doesn't change the way you look or are physically, just the way you feel inside e.g. more confident.

But i know what you mean, and in Hogwarts isn't it impossible to use Felix Felicis in exams?? or is it just that you will be punished if you get caught using it?
