Hey guys,
Any interesting pieces of information about yourself to share? About me:
- I don't sleep on pillows, in fact, I can't stand sleeping on pillows.
- I have a cockroach phobia.
- I wet myself in bed once when I was 10 years old.
Can't think of anymore.

-I am also a person who speaks my mind, if I have a problem with someone I will tell them.
-I cried when Charmed finished
-I still have an imaginary friend although he doesn't have a name.
-I have been known to sleep walk.
-If someone is annoying me intentionally I actually ask them what their problem is with me and why are they annoying me, most people would just go off in a tantrum.

Name him!

I have an imaginary soccer team, but that's kinda normal as i live on my own for much of the week, and need something apart from VTM to occupy my time! Yer i speak my mind too, but that's never done me much good...

I've clashed with the mods here once or twice, but those days are firmly over

Also i got suspended three times from my last school for speaking my mind, i wasn't a rebel, i just got fed up of being scapegoated to i tole 'em my opinion!

That didn't help my predicament... My school asked me to leave and go to France, but i declined! But i was a good boy and went to councelling, with some guy in Wimpole Street who looked like Austin Powers. That was an utter waste of time, as i refused to speak to him, he made me write stuff down!

Then i went to see this woman, who was a friend of the headmasters, but she treated me like a three year old, making me play with putty and draw pictures. So that didn't last long, because i made an official complaint...Then i went to another woman who was not soo intelligent but was absolutely positive she'd got my problems sussed (she was wrong!

) Anyhow i don't see any shrink anymore, and i'm much better for it! They're obcessed about making mney! The Wimpole Street guy cost like £300 for one 'session'. I had about three with him. I think if i ever need to see someone again, i'd go to a Priest, i feel their much more honest.
Well that's some more trivia,
Nick

Lol, what can I name him as? Something Harry Potter. I don't even know why I have an imaginary friend still, I guess it is one of my issues but I am proud of who I am and will tell anyone about me, even that I still have to sleep with the night light on if I watch a horror movie because I will get so scared. So anyway, any suggestions for him would be great. And you could always see my counsellor, well counsellors. They are mostly school shrinks and they have helped me and they don't take money. Also if you need a counselling link for a free online counsellor PM me.

How about Barty? Yer we've got school councellers at my school too, but my parents are control freaks so they insisted onjourneying to London, every week, to see some guy who they assured the silent me, was 'the best'. Anyhow nobody had any impact on me, and i just gradually got over everything by my onesy, and now i'm fine! Shows the power of human will....

Allie
Jul 29 2006, 04:54 PM
All right, here we go... some bizarre facts about Allie...
- I talk in my sleep. Once I told my sister that I had math class first period and once I told my dad that I ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom (neither were true).
- My sister was required to read a really long, dense book on the American Revolution for her history class. I read it after she finished as a joke because she always flinched when she and the book were in the same room. It's my favorite book (aside from HP) to this day.
- I've known my oldest friend for fifteen years and the last time we had an argument was fourteen years ago. The argument was about who got to go down the slide first at recess in preschool, and I threw sand at her.
- The most trouble I've gotten in at school since then was when I was fifteen and the custodian caught me flicking bits of paper at a hole in the ceiling where one of the hall lights had been removed.
- I took an online test that would supposedly spit out my top ten career options based on my interests when I was fifteen. Top three careers were window washer, lawyer, and chimney sweep, in that order.
- Once I shot the moon four times in a row in hearts and all of my opponents' losing score was 104. I am also undefeated in Clue; I have a strategy that never fails, and it does not involve any form of cheating.
- I had been riding live horses for two years before I ever rode either a carousel or a bicycle. I started riding live horses when I was seven.
Good thing I'm not a moderator any more, because nobody could be scared of me after reading those stories.

An aglet is the bit of plastic on the end of the shoelace that hardly anyone knows what it is called. I am still looking for a name for my imaginary friend, something Harry Pottery. Please can you keep the suggestions coming.
-Once we had this school science project thing and other schools came, there were only six in our school as in the others. We wanted to put some of the other teams off so me and my friend sat around the tables with other people and me just being completely stupid said in a really freaky voice, "Hello, my mother collects dead people, would you like to come home for tea and see her collection? You can see my dead brother if you want, he lives in the attic now". We walked away laughing at the end, everyone was whispering, "That boy over there is crazy". I was like, call me crazy again and you will join my mums collection. It was really fun.

Okay, my turn:
I am so afraid of horror movies that after I've seen one I have to sleep with my light on for weeks.
I always look under the bed before I go to sleep. I don't know what would happen if a monster were there when I would look though.
I also talk in my sleep.
I always have to turn my pillow and duvet around when it gets too hot. Sometimes I do it in my sleep.
When I enter uni I always go through the same door or I'll have bad luck, at least I think so.
That's it for now.

Oh this is fun! Heres some interesting stuff about me:
I have a rat named Eugene, he is very cute and is named after the actor Eugene Levy!
I have an imaginary friend named Max… who looks like Max from the board game guess who.
I have two major phobias:
Coulrophobia - the fear of clowns. My older brother made me watch the movie ‘It’, which is about killer clowns, when I was three and I’ve been afraid ever since. When I was six my parents dressed me up as a clown for Halloween trying to get me over it, but when I looked in the mirror I was afraid of myself!
Earwigs… don’t know the phobia name… but they make me scream as if a man with a bloody axe were chasing after me…… sooooo afraid!
I am still not able to tell time very well. We were never taught how to tell time at my school and I was always brought up around digital clocks, so it takes me awhile to be able to tell the time on a regular analog clocks/watches.
I still sleep with a stuffed animal, which I got as a present the day I was born and have slept with it ever since.
My favorite food is potatoes.
I once got lost at Disneyworld and Donald Duck helped me find my parents
Ever since I was little I have wished I coud fly, and still have regular dreams about being able to.
Thats about it for now, can't think of anything else! I really enjoy reading these things about everyone, keep me entertained! Ciao for now!

Haha, great marrymerupert and Rachel!

Here are some facts about Caoo
- I drool when I'm sleeping.. when I'm sleeping in my bed, in the car, at school, when I sleep over at friends, everywhere.
- I'm afraid of clowns, cause (just like merrymerupert) I watched Stephens King's IT.. freaky. Once I saw a picture of my friend, who had dressed up like a clown, and I had to go to the other side of the room not to be afraid.
- I talk to myself loud, all the time, and imagines scenes inside my head.
- I often find a stick, and try to do some spells from Harry Potter.. it hasn't worked yet
- I believe in magic.
- I always fall for the wrong guys.
- I still have a stuffed animal, which I sleep with every night.
- My laughter sometimes sounds like a lion's roar, and other times like a goose.
- I once got lost on a ship, and started crying. A woman came over to me, and dragged me off somewhere. Luckily, I found my parents then, and they hadn't even seen I had been gone..
- I always start crying when I'm alone with my teacher, and I have to tell her something. So I can't get out a word. I'm serious -- she's scary!
- I actually like jelly with ketchup on.
- When I'm alone I sing really loud, and dreams about winning Idol. Even though I can't sing..
Well, this was all I though of for now.. I'll see if I can think of something else later..

LOL! This is turning out to be great fun!
So cute about the stuffed animals! I had a stuffed dog called Snoopy when I was a kid, but it looked like a bassett hound, not a beagle. When my mom's house caught on fire he burnt up.

I have silly bumper stickers on my van. One says "Frodo failed--Bush has the Ring!"

OK, sort of funny, except that it's practically true...

Except no one gets to see my bumper stickers because my van is broken.

I collect obsolete entertainment technology, like VHS and cassette tapes. Eighties music is a main part of this, as is classical.
Sometimes when someone comes to visit I pretend I'm not home. Sometimes if the phone rings I don't pick it up.

I must deal with people on my own terms or I avoid them.

Ok... trivia information? There's not much really about me i'm afraid

My dad only ever read one story to me ( he read it a fair few times

) when i was very little.. I still remember it off by heart. It was one of those really short squishy books.
I had a toy kangaroo when i was little, she was called Joey, when i was thirteen she became a he.
I'm a very quiet sleeper, i don't snore, move of breathe with any noise, once when on holiday, my mum woke me up panic striken because she thought I was dead. Although, if you talk to me in my sleep, i've been known to reply and not remember about it in the morning... creepy
I was terrified of the American remake of the grudge.
When watching the Japanesse Version (the proper one

my friends thought it would be funny *see above*) I laughed all the way through the 'scary part' and was talking about how funny it would be if she came out my TV as it's three foot above the ground, not to mention the mess, and i'd pay to see it. At that exact moment, my phone rang and i screamed the house down.
I have a very peculiar accent, and say things funny

Ok. I am a very weird person, so here it goes...
- The only way I can get to sleep os either reading a boring book or a book with very small print.
- Me and my friends are making a horror film.
- I used to sleep with a teddy bear named Katie untill I lost him in South Carolina last year
-I just had a bowl of sherbert

- I have imaginary conversations with people and make up scenarios in my mind.
- I secretly like the Cheetah Girls and read The Clique series.
- I listen to my iPod basically 24/7
I probably have much more things about me, but I can't think of any more.

LOL--I have to 'do movies' to fall asleep! The book idea is cool too though! Sometimes I will read non-fiction, that'll put me to bed!
But to 'do movies'--I think of the last movie I watched, then I add all the movies I own that also have those actors, then I add all the movies I own that have
those actors, etc, until I get so befuddled I pass out. Meanwhile, I haven't thought about any real-life issues that would just keep me awake, worrying.
Example:
OK, let's say I watched "Goblet of Fire:"
So:
Tailor of Panama--Daniel Radcliffe
Angela's Ashes--Devon Murray
The other HP movies
Sleepy Hollow--Michael Gambon and Miranda Richardson
Gosford Park--MG and Maggie Smith
Tea with Mussolini --Maggie Smith
Willow--Warwick Davis
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy--Warwick Davis and Alan Rickman
Galaxy Quest--Alan Rickman
Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves--Alan Rickman
Truly, Madly, Deeply--Alan Rickman
Enchanted April--Miranda Richardson
and so on...
So by the time I work through every movie I own that has an actor in it that was also in GoF, and start in on "Tailor of Panama," I'm usually starting to fade off. Works every time! Hmmm...there is no sleepy smilie.

Ygraine, you are a spooky kind of girl! Lucky ducky, I don't think you're so weird, it would be fun to hear more about the horror film you're making!
What the heck is an earwig?

-this might sound bad for someone who is a HP fan, but HP books help me sleep... it's not 'cause they are boring, but after i read a few chapters of a HP book i get really tired
-the only bugs i'm really afraid of are bees because they sting, if a bug doesn't sting or poisin me, then i'm fine with them... sometimes that's a bad thing 'cause then i have to kill all the bugs in the house
-i dream every single night, but i forget about the dream after several minutes unless it was really scary

Hey lucky ducky and Caoo, what are your favourite scenes from the Holy Grail? Mine has to be the French Castle. Sorry, evereyone else, if that's a little off topic.

Hey, wizkid_12, I can totally relate to loving football. It's one of the best sports, besides Volleyball.

The French castle, and the black knight

"Go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!" Haha, I'm never going to get tired of that one..

Okay, it's probably a little off topic.. I guess we can talk more about it, sending PMs or talking on MSN

And hermione_rocks, you're just like me about the drooling-thingy!
Oh, and Lucky, phones really
are scary..

I mean, it's okay talking to people face to face, but when it comes to phones.. I don't manage to talk properly, and I can't sit still, have to walk around, or anything, and I always -
always! - say, "Yes", "No" or other short answers.. it's not a conversation, but those I talk to (or rather those who talk to me) ask questions, and I say yes or no, without saying more. I know, terrible to be afraid of phones, but that's me.

This sounds fun!
-I am dead scared of cockroaches.
-I am also kinda scared of dogs.
-My favorite color is red.
-Last night I dreamt that I ate playdoh
-I hate carrots.
-I have a sweet tooth. I love eating sweets!
-I don't really watch a lot of TV. I'm most of the time on the computer with the TV in my room. And I don't even watch what's on.
-I tend to say the most random things. (Though I try not to)
-Once I start High School (9 days) I will be starting the Pre-IB program and then the IB Program. Which I know is really stressful and hard.
I'm not afraid of phones, but I do hate talking on them. NO particiular reason, it's just I hate holding the phone to my ear. After a while, it starts to hurt my ears. I prefer IM-ing people rather than talking on the phone.
Aethonon
Aug 5 2006, 06:58 PM
OMG, now I'm wondering if I'm afraid of phones!
Seriously though, I don't like 'em. They ring and spook a person, and half the time (no,
more than half the time) it isn't for me anyway. I am my son's social secretary.

Sometimes I leave it off the hook for 2-3 days. And I hate it when my customers want to talk to me on the phone!

Case in point--this guy I just recently made a whole pirate costume for. He insisted on talking on the darned phone! And then we're working out the details of what he wants, and he says no, he doesn't want a jabot on the pirate shirt because it will be too frilly. So I bill him accordingly and do all the work, and then he
calls me, and asks me where the jabot is! Ack! And since if was over the phone, and there are no emails to back me up, I get stuck wasting an hour-and-a-half (and some very expensive lace) making this stupid jabot for no extra money!
I hate the stupid phone! And yes, Anglophile, so true, it hurts my ears!
What is IB?
"We want...a
shrubbery! Ni!"
lucky ducky
Aug 5 2006, 07:20 PM
I have heard of IB, since the middle school I was going to go to before I got into a special school had a IB program, but I don't really get what it was. If you tell us about it, I might get to know what I missed!
The way I'm afraid of phones is just calling people. I get really nervous about what the people are going to say. Plus, I am afraid that the person that I'm going to call isn't going to pick up, so I always have to ask if the person is there. I don't know why that scares me, it just does. I couldn't call anyone until last year.
My favorite part of Holy Grail is either the shrubbery, french castle, the black knight, or the part when the villager talks about people's rights and stuff. It's so hard to choose!

Well IB stands for International Baccalaureate. It's an international program that is taught worldwide. It's super hard and colleges and universities look for students who does the program. I've heard it's harder than APs. I'll be starting 9th Grade in 9 Days and I will be taking an AP class. All my teachers recommended me join the program because it's really prestige and I think everyone should it. Click
here to find out more about it.
My phone rings really loud, so when I don't expect it, it rings really loud and scares it. But I won't say that I have a phobia of phones.

-I always wished to have amazing powers like we can see in movies or animes.
-I hate SMS language (like many people in here I guess).
-Sometimes, I act like movies or anime characters.
-I'm very agressive with words when I'm angry but I'm non-violent (I you want to see me violent, you'll have to try hard... very hard).
-I hate Sony's consoles. I have it only for games. I'm some kind of Nintendo fanboy.

Aww I have always wished I had amazing super natural powers like on Charmed, Harry Potter, every programme with magic on you see. I would love to just do miraculous things with magic to help the world.

This seems like fun

* I sleep talk
* I get car sick
* I am far-sighted, although I cannot read a book w/ reading glasses
* I've been to the hospital numerous times for fainting
* I was at the Wicked Stage-Door for 10.5 hours
* I am so afraid of spiders, that I take an anti-anxiety medicine to calm myself
* I cannot swallow pills, and I'm 16
* I began reading at the age of two
That's all for now...

Did someone teach you? Or did you learn yourself.
I began reading at the age of 5 and I did learn myself.

My parents began teaching me. But only words like "the," "as," etc. But they also taught me how to sound things out with syllables, so I just started to read more words by sounding them out. Since I entered Kindgergarden (I never went to Preschool) I have always been advanced in my reading. I guess that's why I love it so much!

I noticed it xD. People who love to read learned to read very young.
