I'm Sandra, I'm incredibly old (23) although I still feel (and act) as though I'm 17 most of the time, especially when walking towards bouncers at the doors of nightclubs. Hey everyone! I've been posting around the forum for a few days now but never got around to posting here! Anyway, my name's Ingrid, but to make things easier (Ingrid's just a bit annoying to type ) you can call me Ings. I'm 23, and I'm from the Philippines, a huge HP fan, otherwise I wouldn't be here Let's see, for hobbies, reading is my passion (Austen, Rowling, Coelho and Gabaldon to name a few fave authors), I also love to write and listen to music (The Beatles, Elvis and some other folks from this decade).

Veritaserum popped up from one of my HP site searches, and so far I'm loving it here! I'm just trying to inch my way into the Duelling Club so that I can post in their forum, hopefully I'll manage to make it before the 7th book comes out, otherwise my thirst for theories, conspiracies and other fun stuff would dry up!

I have no favorite characters per se, coz I love every single one, the more I read the books over and over again, although I do have a bit of a soft spot for Sirius and Snape . I just finished reading the series for what may be the 5th time, and now I'm back to book 1. Unhealthy, yes, but a waste of time? Never!

This is getting long so I'll just shut up and continue my quest to be part of the Duelling Club!

I think I started this posting last week but I ran out of money and it looks like it didn't go through. Sooo, here goes again.

My name is mary and unlike sandyhp, I am very old. I am old enough to be your grandmother. Ha, thought I was going to tell you how old I am. Didn't you know a lady does not tell her age?

Anyway, like all of you I am hooked on HP. I started reading the HP books after my grandchildren were given the books while I was visiting them in America.They never read them so I did. I was lucky enough to see the first movie while I was there. Now I own all the books and the dvd's.

I live in a small mining town in Queensland Australia. I enjoy travelling, reading (HP books naturally) and music (again from the HP movies). And I am studying social work at university.

My most fav characture is Harry (naturally) and hagrid. I really like hagrid as he is such a soft and caring person. And he adores the kids. My least fav person is filch. He is so jealous of the kids and what they can do. I'd like to spend a couple of hours with him. I think a counselling session is in order.

I like most music but I have grown quite attached to the HP theme music. I often go to the scene selection on my dvd and pull up the credits and just listen to the music. Must get it on tape so I can take it with me. I have also started listening to Irish music. My sister got it while she was in Ireland recently.

My name is Marty. I live in Michigan - brrr. I have been enjoying just reading through here as a guest but sometimes I really wanted to know what others thought about something in particular that I couldn't find in searching so I became a member a few days ago so I could make a topic.

I have read and re-read the rules section and the "who we are" section that introduces all the administrative staff and the moderators - helps to know who to go to for help! I have been in DD office and had many questions answered there - in case anyone else has any and are shy to ask there is a real wealth of information in DD's office. And I have spent alot of time reading in Newbies Central.

I have made just a few posts so if anyone wants to get a feel for what kind of opinions I may have ( and i honestly cannot imagine why anyone would but...) you can click on my user name and go to my profile and then find the few posts I have done ( I think that is how it's done ).

I'm like everyone else in VTM - I am just totally geeked over anything Harry but I particulaly like the book(s) the best - gushing all over JKR for doing all the writing.

Um, my dad turned me on to Harry and he is 70 years young. I'm 41 and my kids are 18 and 22. I just pre ordered 2 Deathly Hallows so that one of my kids can read and I can read at the same time and have discussions. We wont ask each other "what part are you at" we will ask each other "what PAGE are you on" so we don't spoil any of what's coming next.

I've been visiting Veritaserum for a long time now for HP news and pictures, so I finally decided to stuck my nose in here too. Pity for everyone else, probably.

Oh well. I live in Finland, and have been a fan of Harry Potter for 3-4 years. Hard to tell the exact time when I noticed that I'm addicted. Denial is a nice thing, of course. Favorite characters; Harry, Draco, Snape, Neville, Luna, Tonks and Dumbledore. Don't have many I don't like to read, although I wouldn't want to meet Umbridge or, ugh, Vernon.

Otherwise, I'm 20, and my interests include photography, movies(watching, collecting) and I also do all sorts of things with Photoshop(icons, blends, wallpapers and graphics generally). Favorite bands and artists; Mew, Kashmir, Queen, Robbie Williams, Josh Groban and many others I just can't remember.

I am not really all that new I just haven't really introuduced myself. I am Nicole but please Nikki is much perferred. Let's just say I am in my late 20's. I live in Minnesota. I am toatlly obssessed with HP. Favorite character that's a hard one I cannot choose as I like something about each of them, however my least favorite that I would not want to run into is UMBRIDGE. 11. Random Info: I started reading HP this year in January. I know its too late. But i thought that HP is about nothing but nonsense magic. Yes, it was prejudice i agree. But last year, in December, i had a brainwave sort of thing and i decided to read it. So the first thing i did this year, was to spend almost half of my pocket money on these books. I bought all the six books and finished them in a week. And from then on, there's no stop to it. I re-read those books, thrice i think.
I discovered that HP is not just about some silly incantation of spells. It has more to it. Its about friendship, love, courage, committment. You feel for the characters. Now I'm a very passionate reader. I read lots and lots of stuff. In none of the works i've read so far i've felt for the charcters. But for HP, its different. I laugh with them, cry with them, celebrate with them, love with them, hate with them...
I was just searching for some theories related to HP, when one day i came across a great phenomeon on the net. It was Veritaserum! It was like a dream come true to me. I just crashed with Razz's story and when i finished how much of it was posted, i was just looking here and there on the site..Then i came acroos the Site stuff page...and then what?
