i think that since harry broke his prohecy maybe the half-blood prince will have one since maybe their future is with harry and voldermort. i dunno......

anyways there could also be another ball. Like in harry's 4th year they had a ball....... i'll do some reseach

About the ball I don't think so since the Yule Ball had to do with The Triwizard Tournament...Although there may be a ball type thing at the end of their 7th year because of graduation, but otherwise I doubt it.

I think that there could be another prophecy in "Half-Blood Prince" or Book Seven. Dumbledore was very insistant that Professor Trelawney stay at Hogwarts even when she was out of a job, which makes me think he expects she will make another prediction. Since she has been known to make two prophecies related to Voldemort, I can see why Dumbledore wouldn't want her to leave Hogwarts... what if the next person to whom she made a prophecy were a Death Eater?

Talking of Professor Trelawney...

Do you think that she and Firenze will teach Divination together in "Half-Blood Prince"? And do you think that Harry and Ron will continue to take Divination? I know that there are many theories out there that they are Seers based on some of their "made-up" predictions in "Goblet of Fire."

Whether there is another prophecy or not, we are definitely not finished with unfogging the future!

I don't think there will necessarily be another ball, but J.K. Rowling has made it clear that there will be more romance in the coming books. And by the way, do you think there is some special event for Hogwarts graduation? Between Percy, Fred, and George, I would have thought that such an event would have been mentioned by now if it really existed, but you never know.

Athony- Some how I doubt Harry or Ron did well enough on their OWLs to make it to Divination. My guess on why Trewenly is staying is because people like Trewenly (who make real true prophecies only rarly) normally/only make prophecies about a certain person/group of peole and Dumbledore wants to make sure that he is one of the first to know about any of Trewenly's new prophecies

Heh, I agree with taks. I don't think that Harry or Ron did that good in their OWLS to have another year of Divination (but I doubt they would want to have another year anyway ) Maybe good grades for other OWLS (DADA for example) but I doubt their Divination scores. This, and the fact that Trelawney (I'm not sure how you spell it either, lol) Dumbledore would have a great advantage in having Trelawney just in case she has another one of those freaky moments of prophecising [sp].

I think that they really could have another prophecy in the DoM for the HBP, although I'm not too sure what his might be. There were so many glass looking balls in there, so one of them is bound to be about the HBP.

I'm not too sure about another Ball though. Why would they have another one?
