Well I really was just wondering if anyone is going to be going on vacation any time soon. And if you are, tell us where and what you are planning on doing! If this topic exists already, I am sorry! Close it on up!

Well to begin, me and the rest of my family are going to go on a cruise at the end of September this year. We are traveling to Bermuda, Puerto Rico, and the Gran Turk Islands. The only problem is, all I am going to be thinking about the whole entire time is the Titanic!

vacation, my favorite time of the year !

wellz, i was planning on going to Italy [yay!] with my aunt in around winter. she asked me [and me only] if i wanted to go to Italy with her, since she would be all alone seeing as my cousins [her daughters] are already in college and grown up. and she said she would pay for everything, plane ticket, hotel, my food, clothes, etc. cool, yes very! we are still planning it though, because she has to take like a week or two off work, and she manages something, so yeah we are still planning.

It would be pretty cool to go there and everything. In my opinion, the best part of the whole eniter trip would be the Italian food! I love Italian food and me and my family usually go to Italian resturaunts a lot. Well that is because I am part Italian. But anyway, I always wanted to see Venice and ride one of those little tiny boats...

I'm going on this cruise!!!

I can't wait. It's my honeymoon. I was married in march, and we did have a small honeymoon, but this is our real trip. We were given it for a wedding present. I really can't wait. We are spending a night in venice as well. I am so ecstatic, I really can't even tell you.

Oooh, that cruise looks like fun. Ugh, I want to go to Venice. Well anyway the cruise that I am going on is the Crown Princess. I really cannot wait until then! We are also going to the Virgin Islands along with the other places I listed before.

I wonder what I am going to do the whole entire time. We are not yet positive what exactly we are going to do the whole entire time, but we have some things planned out. The cruise ship looks pretty cool. They have movie theatres and everything! I also want to go Mini-Golfing on the ship. The water is going to be all clear and I am going to be able to see all the little fishys!

I'm going to washington state....thats just about exciting as my travels get! oh well...it's a family reunion...with all of my many cousins that are annoying... i'm also going rollercoaster chasing with my dad next year though! i'm really looking forward to that!

oh yeah, Italian food=awesome! i love spaghetti! and pasta.

the best part is that it is free. i hope i get to go, and the rest of my family isnt going, so it will be the first time i will be in another continent without them.

I'm jealous of all of you I don't get to go anywhere this year, unfortunately. My trip to Canada got cancelled due to certain unexpected circumstances. Thus, I get to stay home until next summer. Sounds like fun, doesn't it? =)

Holidays are the best invention of the human kind!

This summer I went to Lignano (an italian beach resort) with friends...I had a lot of fun there! Then I worked for 2 weeks and I finished my holidays with a great trip to Rome! and now...I'm going to work again!

ehm...I definately love relaxing holidays...

well i dont no if you can call this a vacation but i am going to canada soon to go to niagra falls whihc should be fun well i guess this is a vacation because well i am staying in canada for a little bit so yeah yay canada some of the best bands came from canada (simple plan, billy talent, avril lavigne, sum 41 ect.) but yay

because we were supposed to go like in early december...when im on vacation for 3 weeks. but then she said it was going to be november instead. and im still in school in november. i wouldnt mind skipping school for like a week or something. but my mom. yeah she wont let me. and plus my grades will drop, im sure of it. so im sad.

I am sorry that you aren't going to Italy anymore! During fall break I am going to Texas and Mexico which isn't that exciting, but at least it is a trip. This will be my second vacation in my entire life (we never go anywhere). Then when I graduate from high school (I am a junior now) my three friends and I are going on a road trip. So far we are planning to drive to California and Las Vegas, but I really want to go backpack through Europe! I guess I'll see because it is pretty far away right now.

I had an awesome vacation at the beginning of the summer. I made the semifinals of a singing competition in Dresden Germany, and was able to fundraise enough to get out there for the competition. It was so awesome. Anyway, I didn't know if I would make the finals, but I decided I would leave after the final competition date to make sure I could be there if I did get in. Unfortunately I didn't have the best voice/presence/performance there (there were 118 singers from around the world for this Italian Opera Competition), so I ended up going to Paris for four days as a sort of consolation prize. When I got back, I told my voice teacher I was ready to move to Paris! I loved everything about it, especially the fresh food markets that are open on Saturday mornings. I could have spent all day there just looking at the breads, cheeses, fish, meats, and fresh fruits and vegetables that were available. We have markets like that here in the Chicago area, but nothing compared to what I saw in Paris. It was awesome. Over March break, my sister and I are going up to the North West Territories to go dog-sledding and skiing. So I'm very excited about that. Should be tonnes of fun!

I am going on holiday soon for two weeks in the Caribbean to St. Luica. My dad and my step-mom are finally getting married and they want to jet off to do get married so me, my three sister and the happy couple are flying in August to St. Luica to have the wedding and a holiday in one. I really can’t wait but I am worried about the heat. I usually can’t handle the heat very well. Wish me luck

From the 12-15 I'm going to Mackinac City, and Mackinac Island. I'm going to bike aroung the island with my family, and then I'm going to a waterpark their. Then on the 22 I'm going to a soccer camp, and I'm staying at the college its at. So thats going to be like a vacation because I'll be away from home.

i will go to Tampico...jejeje and i will spend my birthday on the beach with my cousins jejejeje in Tampico are a lot of places to go jejeje i always go in christmas but this time my family say that we were short of money but ...nowwww jejejeje in summer is more hotter

I was planning on going to my home country of Spain for a while this summer but I've been given the role of Rizzo in a major theatre company so I'm not going anymore. I'll be going at Christmas instead.

Well I am actually planning on going on 2 vacations.

July 22nd I leave for Chicago where I'm going to stay a week with my Uncle, aunt and their three little blonde haired blue eyed beauties. (I love those girls!). There I plan on doing some shopping, playing tennis, and laying next to the pool to get some sun.

Then the next week I think we're going to Lake of the Ozarks. This is just on the opposite side of Missouri. It's a huge lake that we go to every year. This is tentative though because we're not sure if we can get reservations at our usual place or not.
We shall see!

Leaving our counrty (italy), we'll go to France, crossing Switzerland (the Alps!!! Oh my God, I'll be sick!), and we'll reach Amsterdam, not before a visit of Bruxelles! We'll finally go back home crossing west Germany (Koln and Frankfurt) and Austria..
...a relaxing holiday by car!

In two weeks I'm going to France with my father and brothers. It's a sort of camping trip, not far from the Spanish border.
We'll stay there for 2 weeks and when we come home we almost imediatly leave again on a week with the whole family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews) in the Belgian Ardens.
I'm so looking forward to that, because now I'm on my summer job and it's boring!!!!!

Tomorrow I' m going to Hévíz for a week. This is the largest lake in Central Europe, and it's located in Hungary, fortunately where I live, so it's not so far away I' ve been there for many times and I really like it. It's such a unique thing that you can swim in a lake which is about 30- 32 degrees in the whole year, you can sit down on the benches in the water, or just swim around the building, it has a relaxing athmosphere.

This years holiday (vacation) was a complete disaster. First off, let me say that we're used to going to greece or america etc. every summer. This year we diecided that we'd go on a holiday that we could take our puppy on. I live in England and we dicided to go to Wales. It rained all week. The place we stayed was only half built. But, being the family we are decided to stay the entire week. We did good stuff but it was a bit depressing. I don't think we'll be holidaying in the UK again anytime soon! Anyway, the rest og the 6 weeks holidays have been good. But now I've got to go shopping for new school stuff.... zzzzzzzzz!

It's still a long ways off but over Christmas vacation, I'm going back home to Greece and I go there for a month in summer too. Very exciting even though it's so far away!

I am not going on vacation anytime soon, but I did go to Florida for my Christmas vacation. I went back to visit extended family and old friends I hadn't seen in years. It was fun, it never really gets that cold in Florida, and it was hot that week, so we spent some time at the beach. At night my friends and I went to all the clubs and hang out spots we used to go to, you know just catching up. I spent alot of time with my family. Almost everynight we ate dinner at one of my relatives house. It was nice to have the family back together again. I might go back this summer. We will see what happens..

I am going on a vacation very soon! I am so exicted! I am going to South Carolina. It is a 18 hour drive from where I live so it gets very boring in the car. I am going with my parents, my older brother Jesse (he's 16), 2 of my aunts, 2 of my uncles, my older cousin Ashley (she's 17), my older cousin Cortney (she's 20), my younger cousin Adrianna (she's 4). My friends Greg and Alex are also going to be going when we are so it's going to be so much fun! We are going to be going in the ocean and stuff. We are also going to the aquarium and an amusement park. I can't wait!

I just went on a vacation about two weeks ago to Las Vegas. It was fun enough, I went to the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, etc. The coolest thing was the Big Shot which is the worlds highest thrill ride. I just couldn't wait to ride it because I just love rides. We also saw a really cool light show in downtown Vegas and the strip was really cool. This is something my mom said when we were driving down the strip. "This is why America is the best country in the world." and my brother went "or the worst."

I've been Paris (2 years ago)... i loved going disney-land, and going on the eiffal tower (though i was screaming like mad everytime i looked down- my sister begged me to go on there with her) ...
and we're going America (California) next summer hols (if not, then the summer hols after the next), because my cousins are there, and I haven't seen them EVER. My mom wants to go to visit her mom and family.

O, and in the christmas holidays I might go Scotland to visit family (though i'm not sure that really counts)

I really want to go to Spain, and Egypt , or a place with really beautiful buildings.

For the Christmas Break I cam going to Texas to see my Aunt and Uncle and cousins. Our whole family is flying out to Texas to get together. It's a family tradition, we all get together at one person's house.

I would really like to go to Europe somewhere, I've never been outside of the United States.

For the Christmas vacation, I am going to Australia. I live in Denmark (Northern Europe), so I am going pretty far away. But I am so much looking foreward to it.Me and my family loves travelling, so my parents, my two sisters and my brother-in-law are all flying out for Christmas.

I hope I'll soon be able to go to South America, 'cause then I will have visited every continent on the planet (except the poles). My plan is to visit all the continents and see as much of the world as possible!!

I'm super excited, I just found out that I'm going to Hawaii this summer for a week. To make that even more awesome my best friend is allowed to come (if she pays for her airplane tickets which is possible since she has two jobs!) I almost convinced them to let one of my other best friends to come, but seeing as he's a guy and we wouldn't have enough room lol it didn't really work out. I bet they also thought I was kidding when I asked because I told them we were gonna go shark fishing (we would try honestly). Im in a really good mood!

I'm going to Köln on Satruday for the Karnival. I've never been in Germany at carnival time so I'm really looking forward to it. But I still don't know what to dress up as

I am going to Mesa, Arizona in one month for spring break! I'm so excited! My aunt and uncle just moved there last year so I'm going to see them with my brother. It's the first time I've ever gone on a trip without my parents and I'm pretty excited for it and the weather! I live in Canada so it's always cold, and it'll be nice to go to somewhere hot for spring break! When we're there, we're going to go to the Canucks game which will be very cool! Obviously, living in Canada and all, a big hockey game is very exciting But yea, I can't wait! I'm looking forward to shopping, swimming and having fun with my little cousin Pierce who I havent seen in a long time!

Well I don't know if you'll call this a vacation but for spring break I'm take a road trip with my dad to Gainesville and visit the University of Florida campus. My dream school<3 and check out the whole Gainesville area, becuase I live in Miami and after highschool which is in the summer of 2010 I plan to move there to attend UF or go to a community college there to later transfer to UF (: Can't wait

nicky potter - I've been around Gainesville! It was so weird to go there because I'm from Montana and Florida has palm trees and things like that! I didn't see the beach at all but I did see some alligators!

I'M GOING TO ALASKA!!!!! Third week in June - can't wait!!! We are going fishing for halibut, salmon, and shrimp! It'll be my first time on an actual boat!!!! I am really jazzed up for this because I've wanted to go to Alaska forever! And when we get back we will have a big party with our catch!

I am kind of going on a vacation. I leave next Sunday for Costa Rica, but it's not going to be all that "fun". My mom and I will be helping with a congregation in... Whoah, too much personal info. Don't want anyone to come and find me! Anyway, we'll be helping a congregation there become a big more important to the people in that area, and we'll be helping out in- as my sister so kindly puts it- a "slum city". We'll be helping teenage prostitues and their mothers get out of the cycle of poverty and set up classes so that they can sell handmade creations to tourists to earn money in a safe way. I think that's pretty cool.

I'm not going anywhere for the easter hols unfortunately... :/

So I was away just two weeks ago but in a couple of days I'll be away again, to another part of Germany, just a few hours drive from where I live. I'm going to meet some relatives of my partner's... so I'm kind of nervous...

A couple of my best friends and I are going to go on a road trip of all 50 states in the US the summer after we graduate, which is a couple years away. But any places someone suggests we have to go? We're already going to Orlando for sure to see the HP world.

I actually just got back from Costa Rica a week and a half ago. It was so fun! We were supposed to be doing mission work, but we ended up doing more tourism stuff than expected. I was happy about that, because, although this sounds bad, I'd much rather be at the beach and scaling tide pools than sitting around watching my mom speak spanish to the bishop of Costa Rica.

I'm in Hawaii right now! I arrived yesterday at about 4 PM and checked in at our bad hotel for the night and then went out to eat. Today, we checked into condo (which is completely amazing). My best friend got to come with, im here for about 8 or 9 more days! Its going to be amazing!

And this thread just reminded me that I've booked one of them off work but not the other - ooops lol

Anyway so in about a month I'm going to Ireland, Dublin to be more exact, with a couple of my friends =] So that's going to be fun. We're going for 5 days and doing like a little pub crawl of Dublin.

And then about a month after that I'm going away with my parents and brother, we're going back to CALIFORNIA =] I love that place so much, I can't wait to go back. We're doing a fly-drive holiday down the coast =] So we're going specifically to:

Im going to nyc in a few days. Ive never been before so im hoping that it will be fun. My mom is really excited about broadway, but im more looking forward to the yankees game.

Im leaving for Washington D.C. tomorrow morning for two weeks. And I just found out that since were getting a foreign exchange student this year that sometime during the school year we're gonna go to New York and Chicago... maybe somewhere else too. So in less than one year I'm going to have gone to Hawaii, Washington D.C., New York, and Chicago... at the least. I'm looking forward to it!

Im going to NYC in August for 3 days. And before that I'm going to Old Forge, NY to enchanted Forest Water Safari .

My husband and I have a vacation planned for August 10-14 to celebrate our One year anniversary (8-2-08) and his graduations from college (8-7-09). We had to push it back a week because of work and such so I am really excited to finally relax!!

I just back from 2 weeks in California yesterday =]
It was amazing, we've been about 4/5 times (i've lost count lol) and I still want to keep going back and back, I love it out there.
We went all down the coast, like we always do - San Francisco - Monterey - Santa Barbara - Santa Monica - Anaheim (LA) - San Diego

Its great =] I feel like such a kid when we get to LA and San Diego cause we always go to Disney and SeaWorld and places like that, but its just so much fun =]

I'd recommend anyone go because its such a great, unforgettable vacation
