Ew. I'm sorry, but aren't Siriius and Tonks related? I see Sirius as more of an older brother to Tonks than a lover. Lupin's definatly the one for her.

i dont think tonks and sirius are a good idea. he's her 1st cousin once removed. he's a fugitive in his own house and seriously, she need a life!!!

1. Lupin is not lame!
2. Lupin is only dangerous when he's a werewolf, but that doesn't mean he should be denied the right to be in love & happy.
3. Your arguement for Sirius & Tonks being together is that Lupin is too old? Lupin & Sirius are around the same age.

I think Lupin is a bit serious for tonks, but they still suit.
And also, if Lupin is too old for tonks, then so is sirius,
they were in the same year at school so they must be

Okay, first off... I agree with St Sirius Remus is not lame!! Okay... Yeah, Sirius and Remus are the same age sssoo if Remus is too old for her than Sirius is too. Again, their cousins.... Even though Tonks is.... wild and Remus isn't but Sirius is would be the only okay excuse you would have that they should be together... but it is still wrong...

Honestly, I think it's different for Witches and Wizards.

Remember in the "Old Days" people used to marry their brothers and sisters or just family members in general and have dozens of kids with them. That was just their way of life.
It seems as if Rowling has created the Wizarding World to revolve around those "old-fashioned" ways. Isn't it true that all the Purebloods are related in some way but they still marry each other? Also, how come the trio didn't seem revolted at the idea of Tonks being in love with Sirius?

I don't mind the fact that they're cousins... it's just I think that maybe..just maybe...lupin is better suited to tonks.. he's more sensible as to sirius. I mean, they'd probably caus a lot a chaos. which isn't that bad, when you come to think of it...but nah. tonks and lupin!

Let me get the L/T shipper rant out of me before I explode-

Lupin is a great guy. Smart, awesome, and all that. But Tonks helps him loosen up a bit, ya know? He needs it. He might've been better when he was younger, but he's a bit too 'grown up' now.

Aside from the AWESOME that is L/T- I never saw why Harry thought Tonks was in love with Sirius. A) They are related (though I think they might not've been blood related). And No...just...no. You can tell they were family- even if not technicly.

I agree with you. Tonks and Lupin are extremely well suited for one another. Sirius and Tonks...well, it would never work. Aside from the fact that they are cousins (eww), Sirius is too much of a risktaker and Tonks is just clumsy. At least Lupin and Tonks balance each other out.

i just want to point out that sirius and tonks were not cousins, indeed sirius and tonks's mother andromeda were the cousins. maybe a lot of people got confused

you'll notice that sirius and andromeda were on the same line and tonks was supposed to be under andromeda but unfortunately she was mark off. she was supposed to be between bellatrix and narcissa as they were sisters.

No, although Sirius and Tonks would make a good pair if Lupin didn't exist and they weren't related, I still think the idea of Lupin and Tonks too cute to ignore!
Imagine how sad Lupin would feel if Tonks and Sirius did get together- he would think that he could never have any relationships ever because of his 'furry little problem' and would just fade into the background.

No! Nah! Nada niks! Nej! Nei! No way! heh. I love Lupin/Tonks ... who would have thought... I like fictions where Sirius and Tonks are close friends, but that's it. There's just too much cuteness in Remudora (T/L) to even think of them with others XD

Well, Tonks and Sirius would be first cousins once removed... that's still too close for comfort in my books I don't think their personalities would complement eachother very well. Sirius is prone to being moody, whereas Tonks is much more positive (usually... ignore the descriptions of her in HBP where she was pining for Remus). She and Remus seem to balance eachother out so well, it's hard to think of her with anyone else!

It's a really sweet idea. I just wonder what sirius's feelings would have been for Tonks. I think if Lupin hadn't been in the picture thten maybe Tonks would have wanted to be with Sirius, but then again, maybe not since they saw each other so strongly as family as seen in books 5 and 6.
