CHAPTER 1
The birth

Dear Lee, I think it is time to tell you parts of my story the world doesn't know. The end is approaching more quickly than I thought. I have to free my soul from these memories that have become a burden I can no longer bear. Please listen carefully. You are the only withness of my words...
Many years ago, a beautiful morning of March, a boy was born. It was a perfect spring day with blossoming flowers and flourishing trees. Everyone admitted that no kid could have happier first memories than that boy. His birth was rather unexpected and filled the family with joy. It was a beutiful baby with the deepest grey eyes anyone has ever seen and the purest smile anyone has given. His mother felt proud for giving birth to such a unique baby that seemed to understand everything that was going on around it despite the fact that it could not speak yet. As she was holding him gently, she looked deep into these eyes, which could fill anyone's heart with warmth, and decided what his name would be. He deserved to have a name that represented power along with kindness, and the only one that seemed to be appropriate was the name of one of the greatest wizards ever. The happy mother smiled at her baby, took a deep breath and spoke for the very first time at her son. She softly whispered : "And thus, I name you Albus Dumbledore."

CHAPTER 2
The childhood

That was the day I was born. My mother felt very proud of me from the first moments of my life. Her instict made her believe that I would become a great wizard, a wizard everyone would know and respect. Albus was the name of a great wizard, who created our community and whose name the older ones still speak with love and greatfulness. So, I was named Albus after him. Now, I shall continue my story as I've heard it from my family...
The years were passing quickly and I seemed to grow into a wonderful child that surpassed the expectations of the family. My magical capabilities were obvious from the moment I spoke. Everyone was sure that I would become a great wizard someday. But my capabilities weren't the only characteristic one could discern on me. I also had a noble heart,as I not only cared about my family but also about the Muggles that lived at my village. I helped them when they had a problem and I was a shoulder to cry on for those who suffered. That was me, from my early childhood I believed that love could cure every wound, that it was the most effective magic spell.
When I reached the age to go to school, I felt the desire to go to a Muggles' scool. By the moment I saw all of my friends becoming students, I knew that this was what I wanted and liked. However, "a wizard can not associate wiht Muggles" as my mother used to say. And so, I stayed at home waiting impatiently for my turn to go to school.
It wasn't long before that day arrived. The whole family was getting more and more anxious as I was heading at the age of eleven. A few months after my birthday, I recieved my very first owl. It was a letter from Howgarts. I was accepted to be a student of the greatest magic school. The family's expectations seemed to be fulfiled.
My years at school were of my happiest moments. I was excited about the knowledge I accomplised, I built strong friendships and I was admired for my sharpmindedness and passion. Everyone knew at that time that I had a bright future ahead of me. I had a brilliant mind but most of all, I had a brave and caring heart which made me a unique person.
When I finished school, everyone waited impatiently to see my development at the world of magicians. Twelve years after my very first owl, I recieved a letter from Howgarts. I was offered the position of a teacher. Many thought that this was too little for me, but they proved to be wrong. I became teacher and that was the beginning of... my so-called achievements.

CHAPTER 3
Teaching memories

My beloved Lee, I know I may sound arrogant but please do not believe that fame has changed me. I used to hear my family praise my capabilities for eighteen whole years, but I never believed for a single moment that I was as great as they thought. And now, after all of these decades, I feel I've disappointed the ones I love. I'm afraid I'll lose the most important fight of this war Lee, I'm afraid i won't be here to see the end. But I can't trouble your mind with my worries now. I have to continue...
Hogwarts trully exceeded my expectations. When I was a student there, I could not evaluate the variety of possibilities it offered me. But as a teacher, I knew I could achieve many things through it. The contact with the students gave me strength to last every difficulty. I never believed I would be proud of them, but I was and I still am. Seeing the passion of the youth, that sparkle in their eyes whenever they hear something they are interested in, filled me with happiness I can not define. After all of these years, I'm grateful to the ones that gave me the chance to be a teacher here. All of my memories are related to Hogwarts and each one of them is stronger and more important than the other. I have, however, to talk to you about one of the most crucial memories of my years as a teacher.
After being on my post for several years, I was sent to do an outdoors job. My duty was to inform a student on his magical capabilities and let him know that he was accepted to Hogwarts. This, however, was not a regular student. It was an orphan who had shown signs of magic from a very early age. He was the only descendant of a very famous family of magicians, he was actually the sole descendant of Salazar Slytherin.
When I met this kid, I knew he had great power. He had realised that himself and he was using his, still limited at that time, powers to fulfil his desires. I've got to admit Lee, that I've never seen a look more cold, more suspicious, more...unhuman than his. That same look would be enough after a few years to freeze anyone's heart. Except mine. I was never afraid of him as I can not fear a person I feel sorry for, and he knew that.
I think Lee you have guessed by now who this person is. His name used to be Tom Marvolo Riddle, but he is more known as... Lord Voldemort.

CHAPTER 4
Lord Voldemort

When Voldemort became a student at Hogwarts, he used all of his cleverness to acquire knowledge only the greatest wizards have. Noone feared that he would use this knowledge for an evil cause, they haven't even considered this possibility. They just believed it was human's curiosity what made him search the deepest and darkest aspects of magic.
I started watching him more carefully after a very dark and rather worrying incident: the opening of the Chamber of Secrets which happened during Tom's fifth year at school. Many attacks happened and they all aimed against the so-called "non-pure-blood" students, the mudbloods. One of them, unfortunately, led to the death of a student. I had the strong belief that the one who opened the Chamber was Tom. They blamed poor Hagrid, who was expelled, but only a magician with dark powers and a dark soul could have been responsible for this horrible incident.
After Hagrid left, there were no attacks and thus, everyone believed that he was the one who released the power of the Chamber. But they did not consider this: Tom was the one who blamed Hagrid after the death of the girl, because if the school did not find the responsible, it would shut down immediately. And Tom did not want to return to the orphanage again and once and for all. He still had a lot to learn.
When he finished school, he started working at a store, at Borgin and Barks. Noone really understood why a young man with extraordinary capabilities chose to do this kind of job. Well Lee, this troubled even me a lot,and I was more suspicious than the others. His true motives were revealed to me a few years later. But allow me not to speak about this yet.
As I've said before, the school had a lot to offer to Tom and his seven-year attendance at Hogwarts was not enough to feed his greedy desire for knowledge. So, he came back asking to become a teacher. He was too young at that time to be accepted. But he was also very stubborn and he visited me when I had become the Headmaster of the school, replacing Proffesor Dipet. He was still a handsome young man, but his eyes had lost the small trace of innocence they had when he was younger. I,fortunately, did not allow him to be a teacher, as I suspected his motives and did not want to witness a second and worse Chamber-of-Secrets incident. The future has proven to me that my decision was more than just right, it saved many lifes.
I believed at that time that I had started a war with him, but the real War started a few years later.

CHAPTER 5
The War

For a couple of years, I had no news about Tom's actions, and I believed that he had given up his dark plans to become the most powerful wizard ever. But I was mistaken and I realised that when the War began.
Fear was spread all around the community of wizards, death was no longer something distant, it was a reality and nothing could stop it.
The War started with the death of some unimportant wizards and so, the Ministryof Magic did not consider them as a serious event. But when powerful and well-known wizards and witches started dying, we all realised that something was not right. Even at that time though, we had not understood how worrying the situation was. Truth was revealed to us in a horrible way. A powerful wizard noone knew, showed up and "kindly" informed us that he was planning to make the world his territory and that nothing could stop him. His name,he said, was Lord Voldemort and by that day, that name would be enough to terrify every living wizard and witch.
Lord Voldemort reminded me of someone but I had to see his look to realise that he was Tom.
Ah Lee, these were dark years...
Hope was dead and every minute that we were alive, was a blessing for all of us. You could not believe that you would survive, that you would live enough to see the next dawn. But, excuse me Lee. I forget that you already know these, we lived all of these together.
This war lasted 13 years, during which many people sacrifised their life to bring back peace. I see now that the 17 years that have passed since then, were borrowed time. The same threat is upon us again...
But it is not time yet to talk to you about this. There is something more important that you have to learn.
A year before Voldemort's defeat, I witnessed an event that would lead to it. As a Headmaster, I was responsible for hiring teachers. That year, our beloved Divination teacher quitted after many years of hard work. I had the unpleasant obligation to meet with those who wanted this post. One person I met, was Sivylla Trelawney, the grandaughter of one of the greatest prophets ever. Her character and presence did not convince me she was right for the job.
Until it happened.

CHAPTER 6
The unknown prophecy

I was about to leave when Sivylla acted in a very strange way. She suddenly closed her eyes and, when she opened them again, they were blurred as if fog had got in them. She had lost her colour and her hands were trembling. When she spoke, she was very mysterious and it seemed as if fog had covered her voice too. And then, she made her prophecy, the most imporatnt prophecy that has ever been made.
It was about Lord Voldemort and a kid that would lead him to death. Allow me not to speak about it, I can't handle thinking it again.
At that time, I didn't know that many people would die because of that prophecy. I could not evaluate its imporatnce But I never underestimated it and I believe I've done what is humanily possible to protect those who are in danger because of it.
At that night however, Sivylla did not make only one prophecy. She made two. I've never spoken about this to anyone before because I knew it would make them worry and lose their concentration on their purpose.
This was the second prophecy:

The one whom fears the Lord
will sadly be betrayed
But he is now told
he shouldn't be afarid
By a friendly hand
he will be killed
By hostile wand
his eyes will be sealed
His death will be fast
he will have no future
But noone will forget his past
or his very last torture
The traitor will die
after his horrible act
And these are not a lie
but a real to-be fact

After she finished speaking her terrifying prophecies, Sivylla closed her eyes once again and turned into the Sivylla she was before. When I asked her about the words she had just spoken, she replied to me with a look of astonishment covering her face: "I do not recall telling you wierd stories my dear Dumbledore...", leaving me more astonished than her and rather excited at the same time. I've never heard anyone making a prophecy before and I realised that she really did not remember her words. This fact actually led me to hiring her.
I've thought a lot that night about the meaning of both prophecies, but the one that worried me more was the first one that mentioned Voldemort. If Sivylla was right, this meant that Voldemort would have an enemy who would be the only person capable of killing him, if of course that person managed to survive.
The first prophecy came true after a year. A baby, a small baby of only twelve months, survived from Voldemort's attack and turned him firstly into a powerless piece of soul that searched desperately for a body, and then, into a human who had nothing human about him.
That was Harry Potter who has become since then a legend and a hope for all of us. You may wonder now why Voldemort tried to kill that ceratin baby. What made him so willing to destroy the Potter family, was the fact taht he had heard a part of the prophecy.
One of his followers was lucky enough to hear what Sivylla predicted about the boy, that would be born on July, about the boy that was a menace to Voldemort. And so, he informed his master and led to Jame's and Lilly's death and to Voldemort's defeat.
The second prophecy, which has never troubled my mind since the first time I've heard it, has not come true yet, or it may never come true. I may have hired Sivylla, but I believe she has inherited so little from her grandmother's talent. I can never really trust her predictions which proved to be wrong many times. However, the past few days I've been questioning myself on whom the second prophecy refers to.
It speaks about betrayal and about a man whose pas twill not be forgotten after his death. I do not mean to sound melodramatic and and I am not worried about the prophecy if things prove to be as I think they are. But I believe that the prophecy is about... me.

CHAPTER 7
Harry Potter [Part 1]

I never wanted to upset you Lee but I apologise for not talking to you about the existence of the second prophecy. When Sivylla made it, we were both totally concentrated on the War, which was more imporatnt than anything else. After the end of the War, it was too late. I had lost my chance to talk to you about the prophecy forever... But I can not allow myself to collapse , time is running out and I still have a lot to tell you.
As I've already said, the boy that led to Voldemort's defeat was Harry Potter. It is really sad that he had to sacrifise the two most important people he had in his life, to save others he didn't know. That night marked him forever and turned his life into an everlasting battle.
At the night of Potters' death, I decided to leave Harry at his uncle and aunt, Vernon Dursley and Petunia Evans. They were both Muggles but I knew that they would protect him more than a family of magicians.
I remember when Hagrid brought him at Private Street and I had to leave him at Dursleys' doorstep. It broke my heart but it was my duty to give Harry a peaceful life. His uncle and aunt did not treat him well and I had predicted that. But Harry's safety was above everything.
He had to go under this torture for ten years. At his eleventh birthday, he recieved the same letter I had recieved years ago. Being a wizard was the kind of relief Harry was looking for, it was a great break from his miserable life with the Dursleys.
When Harry came to school, I ,myself, felt relieved too. He was under my protection and nothing unpleasant could happen to him. But I forgot at that time one thing: Harry was a human being, not an object I could control constantly. His curiosity and need for adventure have put him in danger many times.
When he was at his first year, for example, Harry and his friends, Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger, revealed a secret : they found out that the Sorcerer's stone- Nicolas Flamel's stone, which made him immoral- was hidden inside Hogwarts. They also found out that someone was trying to steal it. That someone was Voldemort, who had taken over a teacher's body in order to steal the stone and regain his powers. Harry prevented him from fulfiling his plans, for the second time.
After that adventure, I ,falsly as I see now, believed that Harry would not try to be a hero again. But I was once more mistaken.
At Harry's second year, the Chamber of Secrets opened again. I thought that this would not happen again as Voldemort was the last descendant of Slytherin. But it did happen and this event revealed to me Voldemort's greatest secret.

CHAPTER 7
Harry Potter [Part 2]

But it is not time yet for this part of my story. Harry escaped from that third contact with Voldemort and stopped once again his evil plans.
His third year was not a peaceful one either. Harry met for the very first time his godfather, Sirious Black who was in Azkaban prison for the murder of Peter Petigrew. It was revealed however that year that Petigrew had not died and that his was the one that informed Voldemort on the location of Potters' house. Sadly, he escaped and we didn't have the chance to let the world know the truth.
Harry's fourth year at school was, I believe, the most exciting. A spy Voldemort had sent -the Death Eather Crutch- managed to enter the school and fulfil the plans of his master. Crutch put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire and thus, Harry became the fourth student to compete. Harry went through many adventures that year but the most crucial one took place when Harry and Cedric Digory-the other student that competed for Hogwarts- touched the Goblet, which was a gate that transformed them to a graveyard far from school. Harry witnessed there the incarnation of Voldemort and escaped once more from death. Cedric however, was not that lucky. He was the first victim of the second War...
Last year, Harry had to face not only the death of Sirious, of his closest relative, not only a tough fight with Voldemort, but also, and worst of all, the prophecy. I had the unpleasant duty to tell him Sivylla's prophecy. He was old enough to understand how worrying the situation was and how important it was for him to be prepared for the future...
At last, I reached my narration to this year, to the present events. Looking back, I realise how hard it was for Harry to enjoy his life while ,at the same time, he had to handle the burden of Voldemort's menace. But he has been brave and willing to risk his life to protect his friends and the ones he loves. I'm afraid though, that he has given up too much Lee, I think he has lost his years of innocence. I would sacrifise my life and everything I love to turn him into a regular kid. But I can't. The only thing I can do, is to protect him.
That is why I 've been doing some lessons with him, I've been showing him Voldemort's life. It is crucial to know your enemy's past as you can turn it against him. I hope Harry will use wisely this knowledge.
I have not completed however my task, I have yet to let him know Voldemort's greatest weakness, which Harry can turn into his greatest weapon.

CHAPTER 8
A sea horse named Rux

During my narration, I've mentioned Voldemort's greatest secret. I think it is the time to reveal to you the greatest "achievement" of the Dark Lord. A few years ago, when Harry was finishing his second year at school, I recieved a rather interesting letter. It was from a friend named R.a.B, a friend I did not know.
That was the letter:

The only way to win Tom, is to hurt his sea horse Rux. Look for objects and places Tom likes and in which he would hide his sea horse Rux.
A friend, R.a.B

I have to admit that this letter made no sense to me at first. Not only I didn't know who R.a.B was, but also, I could not remember knowing someone named Tom, who also had a sea horse. I believed that the owls had made a mistake, but my intuition did not let me believe something that impossible. In our world, the owls are punctual and make no mistakes while delivering letters. So, I had to search the meaning of the letter, the message hidden behind it.
What worried me firstly, was the name "Tom". I thought it might have been a fake name, a nickname that would hide the person to whom R.a.B referred. This enigma had me thinking for a while. When I suddenly realised who Tom was. It was Voldemort whose real name is Tom Marvolo Riddle. He was the only person named Tom, whom I would want to win. Feeling excited about my discovery, I continued decoding the letter. The second enigma was what R.a.B mentioned as Tom's "sea horse Rux". My wondering about it led me to the belief that it was an anagrammatization. So, what I had to do, was to search a way of creating a word from these three words: sea, horse, Rux. But sea could not fit. And then, I realised that sea could be see and also... the letter c. So, what I had, was c, horse and rux.
C, horse and rux...
C, horse and rux...
Suddenly, I realised what R.a.B meant! C, horse and rux were an anagrammatization of the word Horcruxes! R.a.B wanted me to destroy Voldemort's horcruxes! After my initial surprise and excitement, I was left wondering. Voldemort had actually created Horcruxes which means that he had divided his soul and put its pieces into objects of great importance to him. This is why R.a.B asked me to look for objects and places where Voldemort would hide his Horcruxes. I realised then that it would be very hard to win him , as he would die only if his Horcruxes were destroyed. One of them had already been destroyed by Harry during his second year at school. It was Tom's diary which was revealed when the Chamber opened. Other 6 however, had yet to be destroyed as Voldemort had divided his soul in 7 pieces as I found out later. I knew at that time that both my and Harry's duty was hard and would last for long...
alkisti
CHAPTER 9
The greatest love

After my being informed on the existence of Horcruxes, I started looking for objects that would be "valuable" enough for Voldemort to hide his soul in them. I believe I have discovered all of them except one. His Horcruxes are: his diary-which Harry destroyed four years ago-, the ring of Salazar Slytherin-that I destroyed this year-, Slytherin's locket, Hufflepuff's cup, Nagini-Voldemort's loyal snake- and an object I have not identified yet. It me an object of great value from Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Two of his Horcruxes are, as I already said, destroyed and i believe I have located a third one.
But enough with that. Horcruxes are important but I can not tire you anymore by speaking about them. It is my duty to help Harry and I shall fulfil it even if that leads to my death...
I believe Lee, that I've told you everything you should be aware of. I've shared with you my most precious memories, the ones I don't want to lose and the ones that, at the same time, i want to forget. Looking back at my past was very hard, but it was harder realising that my past is longer than my future... I don't mean to be pessimist but I have to be honest to myself.
Thank you Lee for relieving me from the memories that have become a burden all of these years. You were always the medicine that could heal any wound.
Albus Dumbledore

Albus carefully folded the letter and put it in an envelope. He stared at it for a moment as if he hoped that something amazing would happen. But he knew that this was impossible. He closed the letter with wax and wrote on it "For Lee Snave". He stood up still holding thee letter and he looked out of his window. He could see students going to their classes, laughing at a joke they heard, owls delivering letters, teachers yelling at other students that were fighting... He used to feel joy whenever he saw the strenght of the youth. He was proud of himself, for having managed to create an environment of hospitality for students even at that dark times. He always felt part of the peaceful life at Hogwarts. But no more. Darker thoughts had ruled his mind.
He sat again at his chair and stared at the letter he had just finished writing. And suddenly, he burst into tears. Noone has ever seen Albus Dumbledore being dominated by his feelings. His self-restraint did not let him be overwhelmed by his emotions. The thought however, of his beloved Lee made him collapse. She was the only woman he has ever loved, she was his greatest love, the person with whom he could spend the rest of his life. He has never told anyone about Lee and the only thing that certified Lee's existence was the photograph Albus had hidden at his desk. Whenever he felt tired, he would take out the photograph, look at it and smile to Lee, who was looking at him with an expression of deep love. He remembered when Harry had asked him during his first year what he saw at Erised mirror. Albus had answered then that he saw himself holding a pair of shocks, as noone has ever given him such a nice gift. What he really saw was himself being married to Lee. But this could never happen.
Lee was dead, she was smiling at Albus from that other place people go when they die.
Lee had lost her life many years ago, before the ned of the first War. She was a member of the Order of the Phoenix and she was devoted to fighting Voldemort. During a battle however, Voldemort killed Lee, eliminating one more of his enemies. Voldemort did not know that Lee was Dumbledore's greatest love and did not understand how much he had actually hurt his enemy. But Albus was strong and let himself mourn only after the end of the War. So now, he wrote this letter telling Lee everything he wish he had told her before. It was as if he was trying to fill an 18-years gap, although he knew that this was impossible.
Dumbledore put the letter at his desk, right next to Lee's photograph, and stood up once more. He had to go on with his duty, he had to destroy Voldemort's third Horcrux. He looked at his office as if he would never see it again. He smiled at the pictures hanging at the wall- some of them were sleeping and others were pretending to sleep while they watched carefyully Albus' actions. He woke up Fawkes, that was sleeping at that time and he gently caressed him. Albus could do nothing more but admire once more his beautiful golden and red colours. How many moments had he spent talking to Fawkes, how many times had he helped him and rescued him from great dangers. If Albus Dumbledore was proud of one thing, that was his friends that had always been there for him. Albus greeted the pictures, that stopped pretending to be asleep, and Fawkes and he got out of his office. He was determined to fulfil his duty and nothing could stop him, not fear, not pain, not even... death.

With delightment, I present you the last chapter of my first fanfic. In order to write it, I had to use some parts of chapter 27, from HBP, "The Lighting-Struck Tower". I hope that you will enjoy it and that you will read as well my new up and coming, fanfic. Thank you and happy reading!

CHAPTER 10
The prophecy that came true

Right after Dumbledore wrote the letter to Lee, he met Harry and they both went to the cave where Dumbledore believed that Voldemort had hidden the Horcrux. It required great effort to break the spells Voldemort had done at the cave, but they managed to retrieve the third part of the Lord's soul. Dumbledore, however, had to pay a price for his acquirement: he drank a potion that made him weak.
When they returned to Hogwarts, they realised that there was a battle going on. Dumbledore ordered Harry to wear his Invisibility Cloak and froze him in order to protect him from his enemies. Harry could not move and thus, he witnessed a scene that would haunt his dreams forever.

The true events of that night are known to the pure-hearted ones who listened and believed to Harry's words. It is unnecessary and rather painful recalling all the events of that dark night of the second War.
There is a scene, however, worth referring to.
The scene of Dumbledore's death.

Malfoy had suddenly arrived at the tower where Harry and Dumbledore were, and tried to kill his Headmaster. But he was too weak to do it. It was not meant, however, for Dumbledore to survive as three Death Eaters and a werewolf appeared, making escape impossible for him.
"Now Draco, quickly, kill him!" said one of them, encouraging Malfoy.
But Malfoy's wand was shaking so badly that he could barely aim. Dumbledore was standing with his back against the wall. He was wandless and weak, he was the prefect victim.
"I'll do it" snarled Greyback the werewolf, moving towards Dumbledore with his hands outstretched.
"I say no!" shouted a brutal-faced man.
"Draco, do it, or stand aside so one of us - " screamed a woman, but at that precise moment the door burst open once more and there stood Snape.
"We've got a problem, Snape, the boy doesn't seem able..." said the lumpy Amycus.
But someone else had spoken Snape's name, quite softly.
"Severus..."
It was Dumbledore who had just realised the meaning of the prophecy. He could even hear Sivylla's voice:
The one whom fears the Lord
Snape said nothing, but moved forwards...
Will sadly be betrayed
...and pushed Malfoy roughly out of the way...
But he is now told, he shouldn't be afraid
...The three Death Eaters fell back without a word...
By friendly hand he will be killed
...Even the werewolf seemed cowed...
By hostile wand his eyes'll be sealed
...Snape gazed for a moment at Dumbledore, and there was revulsion and hatred etched in the harsh lines of his face...
His death will be very fast, he will have no future
But noone will forget his past or his very last torture
..."Severus...please..."...
The traitor will die, after his horrible act
...Snape raised his wand and pointed it directly at Dumbledore...
And this is not a lie
..."Avada Kedavra!"
A green light shot from Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore right in the chest. His eyes were full of fear and pain. He didn't have the time to realise what killed him: the deadly curse or the betrayal? For a moment, he looked at everyone around him and then, he fell backwards, leaving from the world of the living ones.
But a real to be fact.

Albus Dumbledore died because of a betrayal. Many said that his death was quick and painless, the kind of death everyone wishes for. They also said that he was old, and thus, he had appreciated the beauty of life. But Harry Potter and the people who knew him better, knew that this was not the kind of death Albus wanted. He believed in love and in friendship and being led to death because of them, was a death itself. Albus Dumbledore was a fighter, a brilliant mind, a great wizard. But above all, he was a person with a heart that could love the whole world. We promise to follow his steps and try to make the world a better place for everyone. He shall live forever in our hearts.
