God Must Hate Me - Simple Plan b/c everything happens to Harry.

Oh, it's got to be 'Wherever You Will Go' by The Calling really, hasn't it? I always think that it's everything Lily, James and Sirius would want to say to him....

And Gabrielle's 'Rise' too....Harry's state of mind, hopefully, in HBP....he's seen the worst, he's known pain, now he's ready to rise again....I think of Lupin a little with that one too....

Almost anything by Sarah McLachlan makes me think of something or someone in Harry Potter...esp. "Full of Grace" I love that sizong...oh, and "Fallen"

There is one song that reminds me of Harry Potter. Well, it actually reminds more if the very first fanfic I ever read. The song is "Hanging By a Moment" by Lifehouse. It's a really good song and everytime I hear it I think of the first fanfic I've ever read: a D/H fic that was like 15 or 20 chapters long and it was sooo good!

I'll add some parts of the lyrics for each song.

Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional. It reminds me of what could have happened to Sirius if Peter didn't escape. Vindicated means to be clear of accusation, so well, you know the rest.

OMG...I love that Savage Garden song!! Yeah...it really does relate well to HP, doesn't it....I never thought about it before!!!

I really like listening to anything by Enya while I'm sitting on my computer reading fanfic....or sometimes when I'm reading the books .....It's like incidental music and really helps you to appreciate the characters emotions sometimes....

That's why I like a little mood-music when I'm writing too....

The Final Fantasy X and X-2 soundtracks are pretty mood enhancing too....especially 'Zanarkand' from X....and 'Eternity - Memories of Light and Wave' from X-2....those piano pieces are really haunting and for me, really say a lot about how Harry must be feeling in the wake of OotP....

The Harry Potter theme tune tends to make me think of Harry Potter...ye i know. no but um that song at the start of Malcom in the Middle you know the "yes,no, maybe, i dont know, can u repeat the question" that reminds me of Ron...as thats what i think he's kinda like. and scissor sister 'Laura' for the English ppl that know that song ye that reminds me of Harry. and Nobody home by Avril reminds me of Hermione as like she's trying to always do well and her mum and dad dont have a clue what its like for her, i mean they are muggles, and so i bet she gets confused (doesn't know where she belongs) and always felling like she has to do well...it must suck... well thats all bye!!

This song was actually writen for the Buffy's character. I just think it could relate to Harry though. But Buffy and Harry are kinda a like. Both leaders, brave and strong, but having a small amount of innonce that keeps getting taken away because people want to kill them. But the song if you listen to it, captures a feeling of such lonieness that it's heart breaking.

i think of Hermioen and Harry when ever i hear "Lala" by Ashlee simpson i really dont know why tho. i guess becaus its kind of strange and cool at the same time like their relationship.

Reading HP fan fics tends to make me think of certain songs, there's one on Ashwinder, it's a crossover of Phantom of the opera, and it is fantastic, and when you hear the music you can picture each person clearly.
Like the song Phantom of the opera, you can imagine it being sung by Severus and Hermione.

I'll see it through by Texas, reminds me of a lonely Severus.

The Manic street Preachers 'ready for Drowning' always reminds me of Harry Potter and the task he is expeccted to face in ht next two books.

Plus it kind of sums up my dread of the series ending afer following it for the good part of seven years.

I like the idea of john Lennon’s ‘jealous guy’ for Ron with relation to the whole Hermione, Krum, Ron love triangle thing, not that I believe it will have any bearing on Ron and Hermione getting together.
So maybe it could be mixed with a bit of garbage's crush for good measure

The song that reminds me most of HP is simple plans "Welcome To My Life" This is because it is all about being put down and being shut out. Like harry is before he goes to Hogwarts.
