Wow, that's really interesting. But not really bad new if you think about it because it means Remus is going to live longer than Peter at least... and it doesn't really give us any clues as to when they will die so Peter could die in the last book and Remus lives to old age. At least, if that's true, Remus will outlive Peter.

Well, as I've already done the Alphabet thing (which nobody can see anyway as it's on the previous page, grrrr...) I'm going to answer your question. I don't think he does already... we probably would have heard about it. Unless it was like a short-term relationship before his partner found out he was really a werewolf. Because I doubt that many people would agree to having children if they knew what he was. I suppose it might have been an accidental thing... I wish we knew what Remus actually did between Hogwarts and teaching. We need some concrete information!

Erm.. In the future I think he possibly might have a couple of kids with Tonks but that depends on whether he lives or di-- Oops, sorry! Forgot we weren't allowed to say that. Umm.. yeah, little Lupin and Tonks babies would be cute. As long as Remus doesn't bite them...

And I did think about the passing on the condition thing but I wasn't sure if that would actually happen. I remembered it from Doctor Who.

Haha, that was great Helen. It did ryme anyway, Remus, Remus and Remus all sound the same, you know. Hmm... I still have no good ideas for mine, but if I don't post soon I'm not going to get a chance to do one. So, here goes...

On a full moon night
As the dark clouds break

Yeah, I know it doesn't make much sense. It is basically about that night in PoA when Remus forgot his potion and turned into a werewolf, after they came out of the shreiking shack... And the thing about him being banished is when he can't teach anymore. Hope that explained it... Oh, and the black dog was Sirius, in case that wasn't clear enough.

Okay, I think I might have to come back to this in a little while... it was okay-ish at the start, but that last bit is just weird! I can't believe how rubbish it went at the end... and I couldn't think of a decent rhyme for moon either, I was actually about to steal the spoon thing... but I didn't.

Staying Afloat

A violent storm
Churned the dark waters
Tossing the giant ship
As though it was a pebble in the deep.

The winds roared
Tearing the ship apart;
Bolt by bolt,

By some miracle
A boy managed to survive,
Holding onto a piece of driftwood
Struggling to keep afloat.

It offered him protection
And the strength he desperately needed,
Provided him with comfort
And hope for the future.

But as suddenly as this savior
Had manifested itself,
So it disappeared once again
Leaving despair in its wake.

The child's heart soared
As an island emerged,

I thought that I'll put the explanation at the end, so that you can read it without bias. The time this was written was sometime between the night of Lily and James' murder and the arrest of Sirius. I used the term 'child' and 'boy' several times because in such a big world and with all these worries, after his best friends have been murdered and arrested, he must feel like a little boy all alone and lost in the big bad world again --alone and friendless.

I really appreciated them, the most angsty and the humorous ones. Absolutely creative!! I vote also for our wonderful President's haiku. In its simplicity and cleanness, she has perfectly rendered the feelings a large number of us has towards Remus.

What's next? oh, yeah...the flea collar.
To be worn both when Remus is a werewolf and a human, it's mandatory to wear it around his neck, or the wolfish half would tear it in pieces.

I suggest a leather string, with a hanging polished stone. It can be worn under a shirt and be invisible. Crystals have therapeutic effects if worn directly on the skin. The leather can be treated with an anti-flea spell, and the crystal can be chosen among those which can be useful for Remus in both forms...like a calcite, which dampens aggressivity and helps with...memory and fears.

Hmm...how about cologne? I definitely like that! Mmmmm...

So the cologne can have aromatherapic properties. I haven't done thorough research like witchmom, but certain smells are supposed to make a person feel a certain way- like lavender is supposed to stop snoring. Remus darling can experiment around!

Of course!!! essential oils are used in aromatherapy but they also have magical properties. Lavender is a very, very good choice, because it's a very powerful herb against negativity, and it's commonly used in potions, purifying baths, incenses...Calming and relaxing, lavender provides a connection with the inner self, and helps in regaining peacefulness. It's linked with peace, love, friendship, healing....

Again, perfect choice!! I don't know if it was the first herb to come to your mind, but it's ok!^_^

Because Lupin would have to wear the 'Flea Collar' all of the time, it would have to resemble a piece of jewellry so Clara's idea is the best!

I therefore suggest a computer chip inserted under the skin, located in a place where he won't scratch!! This chip will contain a high level sound frequency that will make all the little fleas jump off or go deaf!! It will also contain an early warning device that will alert our furry friend when he is in need of more wolfsbane potion.

...and wasn't that a load of old codswallop!! Lol!

Woah, it has been over 24 hours since the last post! In Lupin week! Okay... I realise that I didn't post yesterday... that topic was tricky. Anyway... what's next? Write a sketch of Lupin and Tonks telling little Lupin/Tonks that daddy's a werewolf. I'll post soon, once I've worked out what I'm going to do. Just wanted to bring this thread back to the top of the page, it was dangerously near the bottom!

And also, I was just wondering about the fanfic... is it going to continue after Lupin week? Because so far it only has about 4 or 5 chapters in it, and I don't think it is finished yet.

Grr... I just lost my whole thing! That took me ages to type up and it disappeared before I got a chance to post it. I'll try to type it all again in a minute. Oh and lilylvr by sketch it means a short sort of story thing, rather than a drawing. Okay, here goes... again. And it's awful by the way...

Remus and Nymphadora Lupin sat in silence at the kitchen table, listening to their son, James babbling nonsense over breakfast one morning. Neither of the parents were paying much attention to the little four year old, thinking about other things, when one word brought Remus to his senses, "Wolf." However, Nymphadora didn't seem to find anything significant about this, attempting to push a spoon of porridge into James's gaping mouth as he paused for air. But Remus was now listening intently to the child's monologue. "An' it was very big" giggled James, porridge dripping down his chin as he spoke. "An' there was a big moon." He drew a circle in the air with both hands. James clapped his hands together enthusiastically.

Okay... it happened again. My computer is going crazy. I just managed to save that first bit. I lost the part where they tried to tell him about the furry little problem. I don't have the energy to try once more as I'll probably lose it again anyway. I guess I'll finish this tomorrow.

Young Nymphadora and not so young Remus were sitting ast the table, waiting for their son, Sirius, wake up. When he finaly did, he walked in with sleepy eyes and a shuffle in his step.

"Morning mum, dad. There were dogs barking all night I didn't get any- dad, what's wrong with your face!"
for it was true, Remus's face was scratched up and bloody, just as it was every morning after the full moon. Usually he hid them with a spell or makeup, something he did only under extreme circumstances, but today he didn't bother, because he was going to tell Sirius about his "furry little problem", which Harry used just as frequntly in public as Jams did.

"Son...sit down. Your mum and I have to tell you something," Remus said. He took a breath and opened his mouth, but no words came out. Nymphadora patted him encourgingly, then Lupin continued on.

"Son, when I was younger than you are now, I took a foolhardy trip into the woods outside my house. My parents told me time and time again not to enter, but I did anyways, at night, when they wouldn't see me. When I came out, I was bloody and had a had a bite mark on my arm"

Sirius gaped at him. "You....you're a-"
"Werewolf, yes," Nymphadora spoke up for the first time.
Sirius gaped at her next. "Mom, you knew this? He's dangerous!"

Remus looked embarresed and understanding, but Nymphadora was angry.

"Now see here young man. Yes, I know your faher is a werewolf, but he is by no means dangerous. You have lived with him for 8 years now, can you say that in any of that has he hurt you?"

Sirius thought about it, than dipped his head in shame. "I'm sorry dad. It's just that I heard someone a while ago say that werewolves are dangerous creatures. She looked like a toad."

Both Nymphadora and Remus looked at each other in silent understanding at what they would do after their talk with Sirius.

"Just know son, that I am miles away when I transform. I never put anyone in harms way when I become....well, you know."

"Does Uncle Harry know?" Sirius asked.
"Yes, he knew when he was 13, but just like his father, took it in his stride and befriended me anyways. I will never forget him or his father for that." There was a reminicant look in Remus's eye, than it was gone.

"Now, lets find the toad woman. Honestly, if any creature is dangerous, it's her "

Sirius giggled, and father and son walked down the hall with mother smiling behind them.

Hmmm...I don't know if I'll be able to do it, but I'll try!!

Nymphadora woke up abruptly, and was blinded by the full moon rays. She had had a nightmare but she couldn't recall it...it had left just a thumping heart and sweat on her face. She automatically checked for her husband but the bed was empty. Nymphadora jumped off the bed and rushed in the small room where they kept the Wolfsbane potion, well locked from their six-year-old Lily's little hands. She tried frantically to open the small wooden box...oh gods..the last vial of potion was still there, untouched. He forgot it again... she thought, scared. The woman took her wand from the shelf and ran silently to her daughter's room. Her heart racing, she overheard a loud snoring coming from behind the slightly open door, and swallowing her fear she opened it slowly. In her little bed, enlightened by the fullest moon of the last century, Lily was sleeping peacefully, her little hand on the thick fur on the werewolf's neck, which she automatically scratched gently. The werewolf snorted in his sleep and little Lily opened her eyes. "Mum..." she murmured, smiling. "I felt alone and Daddy came to keep me company". Nymphadora stood, still. It seemed there was no need anymore to tell Lily about her father...
The woman curled near the child, and watched her family sleeping until sunrise.

Sorry guys, but I'm going to miss out on this one. I don't really like the Lupin/Tonks pairings But the ones so far have been very good.

Lupin had his hands clasped on the side of the kitchen counter with Tonks' reasurring hand on his shoulder. They both heard footfalls on the stairs, their little twins had woken up.
"Hi mommy." said James with a smile.
"Hi daddy." Lily beamed.
"Good night's sleep?" Tonks asked as she turned to face the twins as they sat down.
"Yes." said James. "Except. . ." he trailed off.
"Except?" Tonks asked beackoning for her son to continue. There was a hint of panic in her voice and Lupin had turned slightly to hear what his son had to say.
"Except I think slept on my book."

Lupin and Tonks both breathed a sigh of relief and let a little laughter escape their lips.
"I didn't sleep so well." Lily said sadly.
"Why not?" Lupin inquired. Little Lily wasn't making eye contact with anybody, her bright blue eyes were tear filled and focused on the table.
"Daddy... Why didn't you tell us?" Lily looked at her dad but by now he had turned away.
"Tell you what?" he asked.
"About what you are." she said bluntly.
"I have no idea what your talking about Lily. . ."
"Remus. . ." Tonks said slowly with her eyebrows rising.
"You are werewolf daddy, i dreamed it. All you did was cry and moan and scream, it wasn't very nice. And it was like it wasn't a dream, it was like i was there." Lily looked to her brother for his mouth was wide open in shock and he was blinking uncontrolably in disbelievement.
"Well dad, are you?" James was not looking at his dad, he was looking at his mom. She tried to smile but she failed and her frown told the children what they needed to know.

Lupin drew his wand from his pocket and said something under his breath. There was a glow of red from the wand's tip and after pocketing his wand he turned to face his children.
They gasped. Their dad's face was covered in scars. It was so sad to see. No one likes to see someone they love hurt in such a way that Lupin was now.
"Dad?" James gulped.
"Yes I am werewolf." he sighed deeply and frowned. Tonks grasped her husband's hand, he smiled at her.
"That werewolf Greyback did it didn't he?" Lily asked as she rested her head on her hands.
"Yes. . . how . . . how . . . how did you know?" Lupin stuttered in amazment. Lily shrugged her shoulders.
"Your starting to scar me now sis." James' voice portrayed just how scared he really was; he was shaking.
"I think our little girl might have a gift." Tonks said wrapping her arms around Lupin. There was a great big smile plastered on her face, Lupin laughed.
"I think i agree with you." they kissed.
"Ewwwww. Get a room!" the twins screamed.

It is Lupin/Tonks (or turns out to be) but the first part does have Sirius in it, and although there is no slash the character is written beautifully, so definitely check it out! lupin and tonks were sitting at the table at breakfast one morning. this was the night of the full moon, and lupin was particulary giddy today. "honey, today is the day to tell them," tonks began, "they are in a very curious stage right now, and one day they are bound to follow you." tonks was referring to their children, james (age 7), sirius, (age 5), and lily (age 3).
"i know, i know, but i'm just not ready-" lupin was cut of by james running down the stairs.
"hiya mommy.hey daddy," he greeted them, taking his usual bowl of cereal.
" hi hon," tonks said, giving a small smile to their eldest son. by the time sirius and lily had come down the stairs,lupin was sweating with nervousness. looking at his children, seated at the wooden table, he felt a rush of guilt. he had always been open and honest with them, and vise versa. he just wasnt ready.... his thoughts were interupted by tonks clearing her throat and nudging him with her elbow. lupin gave a small shake with his head. by this time all the children were staring at them. clasping her hands together, tonks said, "kids, we have something to tell you. your father...your father is a werewolf.

wow, mine was better than i expected! i might even try to do a fanfic, if i have the time.

Hmmm...a sketch on Lupin/Tonks telling their son that daddy is a werewolf?
Ok,... lets's see...
"Hey hun." said Lupin as he closed the back door behind him.
"Hey babe." Nymphadora responded as Remus kissed her on the cheek.
"What's for dinner? I'm starving."
"Like usuall." Tonks rolls her eyes. "Don't know yet, I'm pulling something out right now. Any requests?"
"Yea, anything but liver and onions again, uck!" Came the voice of the youngest member of the Lupin family as he jumped down the stairs. "Hey dad."
"Hey there. Have a good day?"
"It was alright."
"Good. Oh, hun by the way..."
"Anybody home?! The party has arrived!" The door swung open and Sirius stepped in holding a bottle of wine above his head.
Tonks whirls around to see the tall, black haired man, then shoots a hard look at her husband. Remus puts his head down and whispers, "Sirius is coming for dinner."
Nymphadora turns toward Padfoot and smiles. "Well,...your always welcome here Sirius."
Sirius returns the smile and kisses Tonks on the cheek, "Thank you my dear."
After dinner, everyone was sitting around the table, Sirius drinking merrily,...
"yea, yea,..." Sirius laughs and wipes a tear from his eye."remember when you threw Peter through the wall of the Shrieking Shack....," he laughs harder, "You should have ate him."
Lupin JR. looked over at Sirius, "What do you mean should have ate him?"
Tonks and Remus looked up in horror.
"What?!," Sirius replied,"You don't know that your dad's the big bad werewolf?"
Nymphadora and Remus looked from Sirius to thier son in apprehension.
Their son starts to laugh. "You expect me to believe that? He's scared of the dark for god's sake."
"Noh, he's scared of the full moon." Sirius replied while pouring himself another glass of wine. Tonks grabs his arm, "I think that that is enough for tonight Sirius. I think you should leave now." You didn't tell the boy? How could you not?" Sirius questions Lupin.
Their son just stared at his dad in amazement. "Is it true? Are you a werewolf, dad?"
Remus looks up lost for words, then looks over at Nymphadora and sighs.
"Yes, son. Yes, I am."
Lupin's son's eyes grew wide and s wide grin appeared on his face.
"Wicked! That is totally awesome! I can't wait to tell everybody!" He jumps up and runs to his room to start sending letters out to all his friends.
Remus buries his face in his hand, Tonks shakes her head, and Sirius continues to sip from his glass. "So, what's for dessert?" Padfoot asks leaning back in his chair.

Good, but why is Sirius there, and why does Tonks hate him? She was his cousin, and I think they got along fairly well. That's just me, anyways.
