Hey Shereene! I also think Veritaserum is better than Muggle.Net, but that's just my opinion,

. You live in India? I have a friend from India! She doesn't have an accent... shame, I think Indian accents are cute! Haha, think me crazy, but it's true! I'm sure, somewhere, deep down, everyone thinks Indian accents are cute, 'cause I sure do!

.
I studied the Florida Everglades for Geography, :S . I
hate Geography with a passion!
So you're in... Year 6? Gonna turn 12 this year? That's cool, I remember the days when
I was in Year 6... good times, good times,

. I'm going into Year 8 this year,

Well, welcome Shereene!

I was doing research on it as part of my coursework and it was there, but yours is only for youths and its mainly singing. something like that. Hey that would be cool no trauma but a thestral.
Yeah, they do, I think I heard one of my friends talking about it... :S . And yeah! Seeing a Thestral without the horrific experience!

funny how your mom likes aragorn. my mom likes someone but i cant recall who.
lastly i joined about months ago, but i have visited the site for about a year just for news.
Aww, cute doggies! And yes, Mini Schnauzers are awesome, with their beard, and eyebrows, XD .
Yeah, my mum is OBSESSED with Aragorn. Kinda like how I am obsessed with Harry Potter. It's good though, 'cause if she complains about how I am obsessed, I can just say "Well, you like Viggo Mortensen! HAH!" - Viggo Mortensen plays Aragorn.
Yeah, that was the same for me. I went to it for news, then I signed up as
I Love Dan Radcliffe, but my account got wiped because of inactiveness,

. So I re-created, new name and all.

For starters, yes, Passions is that show with Tabitha and Endora, but no Timmy. He died lol. Actually I didn't start watching that show until last April when I went on maternity leave lol. According to my sister the plotlines are essentially the same as they always were. Theresa's engaged to a man named Jared, and Fancy got assaulted twice - she's now in love with Luis who is madly in love with her back! Sheridan's married to a man named Chris, Marty died as did Beth and Alistair (so they want us to believe, I heart Alistair), but she's experiencing a nervous break down because she wants Luis back. That's the short of it...
Timmy
DIED?!?!?!

He was so freaky though! He made me laugh unintentionally, XD . Of all the peeps you mentioned, I only remember Sheridan - isn't she the crippled one in a wheelchair or something?! Who was once married to Julian?! Haha, I haven't watched that show in AGES! I didn't even know it was still showing!

About the tests, I have already told Scott what is expected of him. I also described in excruciating details that he has to get either an Oustanding or an Exceeds Expectations for me to be convinced that he's trying hard to become assimilated into my HP environment. For that, I would LOVE it if some of you help me think of really hard questions to include. I'm doing all of the standard exam type questions - multiple choice, true and false, essay questions, regular answers, mix and match, etc. The "hardest question" I wrote so far asks him to list in order what obstacles the Trio have to pass and what they do to overcome the obstacles in order to get to the Philospher's Stone - I'm still on the first book. However if any of you are up for it, then I would love to hear your suggestions, either on this thread or in a PM or whatever else lol.
Well, I quizzed one of my friends on MSN the other day about Harry Potter, because she quizzed me on Aladdin (she loves that show, LOL!), and one of my questions was 'Who was present when the Unbreakable Vow was made in Chapter Two of the Half-Blood Prince, including the participants?' - it was a multiple choice question. There's an even harder one like 'What animal does Bellatrix kill in Chapter Two of the Half-Blood Prince?' - it's a fox, by the way,

. Little small details like that... things that you wouldn't really pay attention to unless you were a Harry Potter fanatic, like us peeps! XD
I hope that helps... I'll try to think of more the next time I post on this forum,

.

How do you pronounce "eisteddfods"? I would really appreciate it if you spell it out phoenetically because I'm trying to get my tongue around it and I end up getting tongue tied. I even tried to look up Welsh pronounciations in some of my King Arthur books, but I failed repeatedly. I don't want to sound ignorant, seeing as Toronto is a major multicultural city, but we don't exactly have many (if any??) cultural festivals that don't fall into the Hispanic, Greek, Italian, Canadian (Canada Day), Portuguese and Chinese already.
I know this was meant for
gorgeous_granger, but I just had to put in my own two cents,

. Ok, well, I was told it was pronounced Es-stedd-fud ... just what I was told! Perhaps it's just how us Aussies pronounce it, which brings me to my next point...

I'm from Canada as well, and I can't think of us Canadians or our American neighbours (except for the Southerners) as having accents so it was so strange for me to read that lol. But I noticed you're from Australia... THERE'S an accent lol. I've always wanted to go there, but I don't know if I'll be able to bear the heat. I love winter time.
Before I start, I don't mean to be offensive to anyone, I just thought I would state my observations, alright? Ok, cool

Haha, Americans DEFINITELY have accents; oh my God, I can't believe you don't realise it! The Canadian accent is somewhat similar, but softer, and easier on the ears to us 'foreigners',

. Yeah, umm, I think you'll find that people in western New South Wales (the state I live in) speak with an accent. You will also find that everyone (in Australia) except northern, eastern, some of southern, and inner Sydney has an Australian accent. Haha,

. I'm in the east, so I'm fairly well-spoken; more so than my friends because I have lived away from Australia for four years, where they speak in English accents. So yeah, you shouldn't assume that all Australians have accents, because I don't,

.

Have any of you heard the longest welsh word?? its funny i would type it but its just lloks like mumble. I'll put little hyphons where it sounds like a new word.
Llanfair-pwll-gwyngyll-gogerwch-wyndrobwll-llant-y-silio-go-go-goch.
Have any of you heard it? If you try saying it you probably will get tongue tied
Does that solve your question if not just ask again!!
Wow, what a long word... how is that even POSSIBLE?! I'm not even gonna TRY saying that!
Anyway, this replying took me over an hour (with the distraction of MSN and music of course,

)! So you should all be greatful! Haha,

.
Happy Holidays (well, for me anyway, muhahahahahah-*ahem* ... yes...),
