yeah so what are yours?

I'd like to go to Australia very much, because it's so far away and the Ayers Rock and other places there seem to be so beautiful . I'd also like to visit the USA and maybe Venice or Rome in Italy. I have been to Florence and the buildings and the mediterranean landscape are so amazing... *dreaming*
Fall_out_Girl

I've just went to Italy over the summer with a bunch of other people my age, it was some of the most fun I've ever had, we also went to Greece and took a tour of the Greek Islands, spending a day in Turkey, which was actually kind of scary becuase the shop keepers are really agressive and like won't let you out of their store.

I really want to go to Ireland and Scotland, it seems really awesome there and there's all those cool looking castles. I also want to go to Cheddar England, I have a friend who's been there, it's like where cheddar cheese was invented and it sits in those caves called The Cheddar Caves to age, and it's suppsed to make some of the best cheddar cheese in the world.
Hilly
There are way to many places that I want to go... My top choice would be New Zealand for sure. I've wanted to go there since I was 6. It is such a beautiful country. The landscape is amazing and everyone is nice and accepting there. One day I know I'm going to go there with my best friend!

Anywhere in Western Europe would be fun too. I really would enjoy going to France, Italy, Germany, and basically every other European country. Europe seems like a sophisticated kind of a place. It would be interesting to experience that.

And somewhere in South America. Guatemala, Agrentina, Brazil, and everything else. It would be cool to see that kind of different culture. I can speak a little Spanish so I could get along pretty well.

And other places like Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, Washington DC (I feel in love with it the first time I went), Japan, and Thailand. I've always dreamt that one day I could go to the majority of the world. I love traveling, but haven't been out of the US yet... One day I'll go everywhere!

Wow! I wanna go to so many places. I wanna go to Canada because one of my best friends lives there and I live so close but I've never been there. I wanna go to Argentina too because I know someone there too and it looks absolutely beautiful. I want to go to Australia, England and Germany too. And maybe Brazil smile.gif I would just love to travel the world and see all the beautiful places. Even some place in the US i have never been to like Hawaii and California.
phoenix_song
I don't know how long I've known that I wanted to go to Ireland. It's not here, and the accent simply slays me. Heart flutters and all. Im not joking. (thats why I adore Sean Biggerstaff so much.)

When I retire, I definately want to live in Ireland, (visit before then just to be sure) and live in a lighthouse, if at all possible.

Color me lame and drop me off at the end of the rainbow, but thats where I've always wanted to go. The culture just is amazing. So. there.
etphonehome
I am hoping that one day I will get to visit New Zealand. My sister lived there for 22 years before coming back to the UK.

Other places I'd love to go are:

Australia ~ Ayres Rock

The East coast of the USA and the Grand Canyon

Japan

and Rome/Vatican City which I'm also hoping to visit before I get old and grey!!
Jordan
I'm with most of you on this one. I would love to travel to Ireleand simply to visit. Likewise to Hilly, I love travelling. smile.gif Why Ireland, among others? Because I heard it's beautiful and from the pictures I've seen of my friends who went last summer, it seemed like they had a great time! Not only is the scenery enjoyable, said one of my friends, but the people are nice too. Ireland just sounds wonderful from all the feedback I've received!

But Ireland isn't the end for me. I've always wanted to travel to Japan. Another location people claim to be nice. Honestly, I'd love to travel anywhere in Asia - being the only continent I haven't stepped foot into after Antartica. wink.gif

I guess I'm not able to want-to-visit New York 'cause I live there. blink.gif
makemeinvisible
I've always wanted to go anywhere rather than be in Australia... New Zealand, England, Ireland, America. Heck, give me the ticket and I'll go wherever. Ultimately, moving forever I'd go to England because I have family there. And I'd much prefer the weather. smile.gif
Triad
I would like to visit Croatia to see where my mother was born. My Nanna hails from there and mvoed over to Australia after my mum was born. Plus, it would be nice to track down lost relatives even if I don't speak the language.

I'd also like to visit New York. For one reason. Broadway. I love the theatre, having studied it for over three years. Behind the scenes mind you, I'm not one to be on the stage performing!

Other places would be:

Ireland - love the Irish accent!

South Africa - Safari!

England - Only for Harry Potter of course.

Egypt - I want to go into a pyramid and learn to read hieroglyphs. I know some symbols but only a handful.

I wouldn't mind going to Japan, but being anti-people I don't think I'd like how crowded it is.

Ooohh, I'd also love to go to Disney World!!! That'd be awesome!

So yeah...my favourite destinations that I have yet to go to.
Argengirl
My dream is to go to Greece. I've wanted to go there ever since I started reading Greek mythology. And I love the Greek culture, and I'd love to visit the Parthenon

I'd also love to go to England. My mother studied translation in Oxford, and I speak English pretty well. And ever since I started reading the HP books, I've wanted to visit.

I'd also like to go to Wales, Ireland and Scotland.

Oh, and somewhere with snow. I've NEVER touched snow
John
I would love to go to England, Sweden, London, Japan, and so on. One day I will.

There are many places I would love to visit, but my all time top-of the list is China. I don't know why, I just always wanted to go there.
This dream will come true next year (Yay). I have a friend who now lives in China, and I will be staying with him for a couple of weeks on my way to England to see relatives. I'm so happy and excited, I can't wait.

Also, a couple of years ago I had a dream that I was in New York (I've never been to America at all). The dream was great, I felt really at home and happy, and after I woke up I knew I had to go there one day.
HermioneClone
Wow, there are so many calls of places I would love to visit. When I can I want to travel and see the world. Here are some places I would love to visit and some reasons behind them.

England- I would LOVE to go there. I have family there, I would love checking out the villages and old buildings, the people, the differences, the theaters, the accents!!, the livlihood and the constance of activity of something to do. I love that they are healthier (generally) than Americans exercise-wise and especially food-wise. I am referring to around London mostly. I'd love to go to Yorkshire, too!

New York- I love the fast pace, the citi-ness, the rush, the fashion, the people, the stores, the city lights, everything.

San Fransisco- I love the environment, the schools, the freedom, my kind! biggrin.gif, the fact that it was hippie central, just everything. I'd love it!!

I'd also love to go to Rome, Egypt, etc. for various reasons.
Seriouslysirius
I have always wanted to visit London. It so close to home really for me. I've always seen alot of films/ t.v seies's. Sho there and i want to go there. And partly because London have got 2012 olympics. I really want to get a ticket to see an event there.
And Hermione clone England is the total best so it's almost illegal not to come.
Thegirlwholived
Actually, my dream is to travel every corner of the world if I had the chance. Don't you think being doctors or lawyers are really boring? Some of the places I want to visit are:

Italy: I love pizza and spaghetti! And of course the buildings and the cobblestone streets---I love the medieval feel.

Australia and New Zealand: Stunningly beautiful natural views! I have to admit the coastline is absolutely gorgeous. I wanna go to the Barrier reef, the Ayers Rock and the Blue mountains!

Cape of Good Hope: I heard it's beautiful, is it the point where two seas meet?

Finland: I really really wanna see the Northern Lights! And I'd really like to try to have a day where there's never ending sunlight--I love sunshine!

Scotland: LAKE DISTRICT!!!!

Ireland: That's where Artemis Fowl lives. Might spot a few fairies. tongue.gif

England: Every Potter fans should at least go there once in their life!

America: Don't you think the National Parks are absolutely amazing?

China: I want to travel every part of China. I think it's really beautiful, esp Mongolia, Yunnan and Tibet. You can see the milky night an shooting stars there at night if you are in some desert moor. I've gone to Mongolia and the stars are absolutely stunning. Must go and check it out!
DracosLady
I lived in Germany for 3 years and got to see alot of the European countryside ( I would love to go back) but I have always wanted to go to England, Ireland, and Scotland. I want to go to England, just to see it and course (and maybe run into some of the HP cast lol, highly unlikely but it would be nice) Ireland and Scotland, to see the old castles and everything, since this is where my family heritage lies, I would love to visit the old roots!
#tigerlily#
i love the uk and ireland! i´ve been to the uk but i never got to see london and i would really enjoy to get there. it´s an amazing city and i´m getting excited right now simply by talking about it!!! happy.gif

Silence Dogood
The places that I really want to go to most would be, Germany to see the concentration camps (I'm Jewish), Israel to see the Wailing/Western Wall, and now England because of the Olympics (It's been my dream to play baseball in the Olympics). Thanks for the info. Seriouslysirius!
Aniiuum
i'd like you to tell us your favorite city or state in your country! so that we can go and visit it someday haha! just explain what do you like about it or them and why! laugh.gif

i'm from Mexico, and i live in Merida, Yucatan.. a beautiful place to visit would be Mahawal, which is near to Quintana Roo... it's a beach where the cruises arrive.. so there's a lot of turism.. or u can visit the ruins wink.gif

Mexico does seem to have some great weather, I'd definetly love to visit some day, there and the Southern United States while I'm at it lol smile.gif.

For me, I'd recommend three places:

Oxford

Without trying to promote my hometown too much, I'd recommend Oxford for anyone. It's a great place if you're into culture and architecture. Plus, Harry Potter fans would love it here since it's where a lot of scenes in the films have been shot. In fact, Hogwarts was based on Christ Church College in Oxford, and the scenes from the Staircase, corridors, along with the Hogwarts library and other's were filmed there. I love tourist's there because I know they all must be Harry Potter fans lol.

Plus Emma Watson is from here. Isn't that enough of a reason lol?

Ireland

My Mother's Irish and honestly you won't find any more genuinely nice people than the Irish. They are welcoming and very warm and friendly, the type of people you'd wish a lot more would be really. Ireland has a lot of great scenery and of course, history. Really, just a beautiful country, an island filled with culture and great people.

France

I know the French get a bad rep, but they shouldn't. France is a great place, and neighbours of England! Paris is a tourists dream, at night the city is like a living art project, every building seems to be lit up and rivers glow, really beautiful sight. There's a lot of things to see and do in Paris: from the buildings to the gardens to the art museums to the Eiffel Tower! Great place.
Krissy15
I love my hill. It is this place only a minutes walk from my house. Full of trees, things like that. . .a nice place to think.

I also like going to the creek. More like 15 minutes walk from my house. Its beautiful, especially in winter. I like going there and thinking as well.
little_aussie_witch92
I live in Australia, Victoria to be exact. I love Sydney though, the capital of New South Wales (state above mine). The Harbour Bridge is amazing, and it's such a thrill to climb it! The Opera House is also beautiful, as is the whole Harbour and everything about Sydney!! I loved it biggrin.gif Everyone come on over to Australia and visit Sydney! tongue.gif
amortentia_lover
Ok so i live in England, it's really not that amazing, but i suppose i'm used to it.
Hmm so many places i want to go to:
Monaco: I visited there last year, i seriusly felt as though it was my home. It tis the most amazing place ever, everyone's so nice, it's so sunny, the landscape and views are amazing and in general it's GORGEOUS ! I plan to live there later on in life!
Paxos (Greece): I've also been here before, it's this cute little greek island. It's so small and you just bump into people, even when you're on the far side of the island, (which isn't very far) ! I just love it there ! smile.gif
QUOTE
My dream is to go to Greece. I've wanted to go there ever since I started reading Greek mythology. And I love the Greek culture, and I'd love to visit the Parthenon

I'd love to visit the rest of greece to for the same reasons as you! Greek Mythology is so interesting, i wish we studied it in history!
Venice: Well you guys can probably work out why happy.gif
Pompeii/Herculaneum (Naples): Ok well apparently it's not actually that nice here, but i have to go, just for the experience biggrin.gif
Borneo: Life dream. This place is immense, i seriously HAVE to go. Only place on earth were orangutans are wild, and it's all being cut down quickly sad.gif *damn people chopping down the rainforest*
That's about it - maybe shopping on 5th avenue, *woopwoop* hmm, ooh India! and Morocco! I really kindas want to go everywhere, but these are my first destinations biggrin.gif

humm..

*England: oooomg!! Daniel Radcliffe lives there!! hahaha.. i'd go to Fulham, Lndn!! you know,!!

*France: Eiffel Tower!! arghhhh!! waaa!! i want to gooo!!

*Germany: i don't know why!! haha.. but i'd be nice

*Barcelona: to visit the Gaudi park hahaha

i'm from mexico, so i want to visit as many european places as i can!!
Killian
Honestly, I'd like to visit every place in the world, there's so much to see and do, but alas that's impossible! Lol so some places I'd like to visit that I haven't already would be Italy, Greece, New York, Boston, Ohio, Canada, Japan, Australia and many other places.

I'd like to travel around Europe for a little while actually, I truely believe we have a beautiful continent here, with so much history and heritage.

PS: Anyone visiting England, make sure to visit Christ Chuch here in Oxford, I know all the tourists are Harry Potter fans there because it's where a lot of scenes from Hogwarts are shot lol.
amortentia_lover
Is that the school? Or is christ's hospital the school?
Whats the university like in Oxford? i want to go there to study but i've no idea waht it looks like!
Europe is gorgeous ! The mediterranean area there is superb. The rural areas are often nicer than the beach areas!
.X.
Killian
It's a college, it's actualy one of the colleges of the Oxford University, I want to go there after my A-Levels but you need the exam results first, I think Oxford, along with Cambridge, is the top ranking university in Europe, so obviously not too easy to get a placement in lol, but maybe I'll see you there in a few years! smile.gif.

We know Emma Watson wants to go to University, and she'd be in Uni the same time as me .. that slimest of chances, but if I walked into Uni for the first day of my first term and saw Emma Watson ... *faints* lol.
amortentia_lover
That would be amazing. she'd have left by the time i got there though! I could ask her if i could meet everyone ( maybe a daytrip up will do!)
Oxford, Cambridge and then in the UK duroughm ( sorry i have no clue how that one is spelt), Oxford is the top though.
*good luck* hopefully you'll get in. I've got a good few years *cough. i'm in year nine. cough* ! ! !
Set my sights high.
Hey i realise we are still on the topic because i want to stay there (Oxford that is). so we haven't strayed far!!!
.X.
Killian
Well the typical course is 4 years so I'll show you around, probably as a Dean by that time LoL. I'd love a meet with everyone but I doubt I'd even get to that point lol, I think the typical conversation would probably be:

Me: Y..You're Emma .. Emma Watson.
Emma: Yeah
Me: I, am, I, how are you?
Emma: I'm goo -
Me: I LIKED YOU IN HARRY POTTER
Emma: Ah thank you, I -
Me: Do you know Daniel Radcliffe?
Emma: .. yeah, I've known Dan for -
Me: He's cool!
Emma: Yeah he's pretty coo -
Me: YOU'RE HOT
Emma Walks away

I can't believe Dan and Rupert and Emma actually went to school lol. Imagine being in class and having Harry Potter sitting beside you lol.
amortentia_lover
I take it your an Emma fan then!
I'm still after Cedric Diggory! - If you see him around tell him i say hi!!!
Yeah you probably will be dean by the time i get there...hold on ... counts ( on fingers *tut tut*) ... I think i get there in 4/5 years, depending on whether i take a gp year! I'll just miss you. ( this is presuming we both go anyway!)
Yeah sitting next to Harry Potter in class - very weird. I would ask him to teach me spells and he'd be like duhh they're not real and i would start crying ! (or soemthing like that!!! )
haha
.X.
little_aussie_witch92
eeek.gif Spells aren't real??? Harry Potter would never say that! Daniel Radcliffe might though dry.gif I really don't like Daniel Radcliffe AT ALL. But I must say it would be so weird to go to school with him or to live near him. Aaanyway... Talking about Oxford University are you? Awesome. As I live in Australia there's no chance of me going there tongue.gif I plan on going to Melbourne or Monash University, the best in our state.

Here is my list, to keep this on track tongue.gif
France - Especially Paris
England - Everywhere!
Thailand - I would love to go and eat their yummy food and feel their hot weather, and hopefully see my friends who live there!
Indonesia - I've already been there, and as it's our closest neighbour there is a strong likelihood I'll go there again. I just love their culture, food and language. I'm learning Indonesian at school happy.gif
Greece - It looks so beautiful smile.gif
Scotland - I love scottish accents and from what I've seen it's a very beautiful place. I'd love to visit happy.gif

There we go biggrin.gif

Watch out for the food, they may be used to it, but you'll come back with really bad food poisoning if you're not careful! (although i'm sure thai foos is very yummy tongue.gif)
Yes Oxford *dream* smartass.gif
Harry Potter would never tell us that spells aren't real! - he's nice, he wouldn't do it - right?! sad.gif eeek.gif
Greece is amazing, i've onyl been to one island and i hope to travel more!!!
biggrin.gif
.X.
little_aussie_witch92
Haha thanks for the warning biggrin.gif I'm always pretty wary when it comes to food, so I don't think I'd be in too much trouble. But I do love Thai curries and such tongue.gif Yum!
Harry Potter would never never never tell us spells weren't real. He's way too nice, and besides, spells ARE real unsure.gif right?
Oh you lucky duck, I'd love to go to Greece happy.gif
Ever bin to good old Australia? tongue.gif
Horavlo
There are lots of places that I wanted to visit, but the mos important ones are:

England: I have wanted to go to this country since I have read the harry potter books.I wanted to visit the platform 9 and 3/4,hogwarts express, some of the film Locations, the Nicholson's ...and buy merchandise! biggrin.gif

Italy:This country is one of the most visited because has got lots of paints, sculptures and the scenary is very beautiful.
I will visit this place in a school trip soon.

USA (in general):this country is very big and has got many interesting places: Florida (Disneyland),Salem (The witches' city),New York,California,Chicago... tongue.gif

Japan:it's a very interesting place:manga,anime,technology,a different culture.It's a weird place,and it makes Japan special.
little_aussie_witch92
Yeah I'd like to visit all those places too biggrin.gif They're all pretty great places.
Where abouts are you from, Horavlo?
amortentia_lover
Okay now i'm giving everyone who comes to England warning:
Platform 9 3/4 is not real. Trust me it is not there. Although if any of you come and try running at the wall i'd love to hear what happens!(everyone seems to want to visit there - it is just a station sad.gif )
Italy is very beautiful yes *sigh* maybe one day i'll go. Although i advise you - i've been to Sardinia (off Italy) don't go! It's really not very nice -although if you do visit make sure to check out the restaurant Il Velerio - best pizzas EVER!!! Visit Sicily instead which i've heard is great! (MT Etna there! oooh!)
Yes spells are real - of course they are ! eeek.gif magic.gif Harry Potter would demostrate the spells to us - right that's it *packs bags - off to find Harry Potter*
.X.
little_aussie_witch92
It's only because we aren't magic that we can't get through the wall. I know it is biggrin.gif I'm not deluded at all. My friend has been to the station and she said it was good, even if she didn't get onto Platform 9 3/4. I'd still like to try it out for myself tongue.gif
Call me when you find Harry!
amortentia_lover
No luck finding Harry.
Gosh the poor station - they must have to pay millions of pounds in repair fees because people run into the walls attempting to get to 9 3/4. No of course you're not deluded *glances away*
I have actualyl never been to the station, well i have, but when i was young, i should rephrase, i've never been to the station that i ca remember.
I get the feeling that behind the pillar between platforms 9 an 10, is JUST stone, i really believe that sadly it's not real!!! Although that would mean spells and magic aren't real - no i won't believe it! Noooo!
.X.
little_aussie_witch92
Darn it. He must be hiding tongue.gif
I hope I'm not quite big enough to do much damage if I run into it unsure.gif I'm more worried of the barrier doing me damage. And I am glad you don't think I'm deluded *grins deludedly*.
That's only 'cause you're a muggle! You just can't get through tongue.gif Don't stress, magic and spells ARE real! They must be! JK would never lie to us...

And yes, deludedly is SO totally a word.

amortentia_lover
only someone deluded would think that deludedly is a word (ok now i'm getting confused).
Yes well if you haven't got your Hogwarts letter yet you must be a muggle too ! So ha! *grins deludedly* - Magic is real ! I swear!!
JKR would never lie to us...although makes me wonder why it's a fiction book - if it's all true...i've come to my conclusion *breaks down and sobs*
.X.
little_aussie_witch92
ohmy.gif Don't say that!! She must just be disguising it as fiction so that the wizarding world isn't discovered by us mere muggles (yes I am including myself in that)! And how do you know I never got my Hogwarts letter? How do you know I'm even eleven yet?? Okay, so maybe I'm a bit past eleven... But I'm still eleven at heart!

Um... this is horribly off-topic. Ah well tongue.gif
amortentia_lover
Well i know how to get back on topic, i simply say this:
I want to go to Hogwarts biggrin.gif
Now you say something!!! laugh.gif
