I once missed my shoolbus. That day it had been an exam.I sat in my studying for the next examination and wishing that I could have a Time Turner so that I can go and write my exam.

I know so many people wish to change something in their past.

So what would you wish to change??.If there is any other wish other than the one which I gave you, then you are free to post!!

id change a sad event in my life. or a lot. the times i didnt read harry potter before the movies came out. the time i hadnt really obsessed over fall out boy before some friends played a song. the times...some times way too embarrassing to post. but yes. ah i know, these arent what some would classify as 'sad' but still.
danluver501- i totally agree. i mean things would change if i did that. i mean i might not be on this site. i might not have met some good friends i made on here. i might not...ok i think you get the point.

.. it is safe to say that we left our grandpa to die that day... he wanted us all to go out and be happy... he wanted to rest, he said.. and what rest that was.. eternal rest.. i miss him.. very much..

Hi Moicasara
Have to agree with you about changing a sad thing in your life.
My dad died when he was quite young and I wish I could have changed that
Just to spend a bit more time with him and for to see my daughter and son grow up.
At least your grampa got his final wish and you were all out happy.
I believe like my dad is with me, your grampa will still be around you.
They're just behind that invisible curtain
Keep your chin up and enjoy life, just like your grampa wants you too.

Change a sad event in your life
I would change the event where my sister was in a car crash so now that she still didnt have problems with her arm and eye.

Since I hadn't any sad event in my life (well, eveything is not perfect, but it's ok, and I feel very grateful for that) I chose to save someone.
Because there might be some sad events, but even if I turn back time, I won't be able to change them.

I'd give a very specific person a good kick when there is still time and by doing so hopefully keep things from falling apart. And tell him if he didn't find a successor he might just kindly open his eyes as we were there right under his nose if only he had bothered to recognize.
Well but that'd need a very big time turner, as years have gone by and life has gone on. Maybe for the better. One shouldn't really waste her brain and health on a badly paid 24/7 job if there are other possibilities just for happiness' sake

I chose to go back and change a sad event in my life. Now before you think I am selfish, think about this: If you want to change the course of a historical event, that would then cause all of us who learned the lesson to forget it. Thus, history would repeatitself.

I would save someone from dying.

Death causes the most pain in our lives, yet what would we be if we didn't learn to deal with it. It shapes who you are. I would still want to save her though. Because I need her now more than ever... And if she was still here I'd be a completly different person and I probably would not have such a horrible view of the world.

Ahh well I couldn't save her anyhow, maybe say good-bye, but not save.

If I had a time turner I think that I would go back and try to change the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Everything in this country changed since then, and I miss the old days, before all these terrorist threats and the war.

If a had a time turner I would use it to change a historical event, ethier The Titanic not sinking (then we wouldnt have an amazing movie thouhg

) , No Halifax Explosion (YEAHH , REPRESENTINGGGGG ) haah anwyays, yeah I live in Dartmouth NS, and lots of people died from here too

or World War 2 , then my Grampy wouldnt have had to g oto war and sit it yucky trenches for 3 years. I think it would be kinda selfish to use it on yourself when you could save thousands of people from dieing insted of like , you failing a math test or somthing

I would gladly go back and stop my brother from taking his life...Our family has not been the same since, and certainly neither has his...I would help him see there were other options he could have done. Then he would still be alive, and his children would have their father...

I would change a sad moment in my own life, something which I myself caused.
I think you shouldn't mess with something historic, something very big. Maybe the present would be even harder to get through. Maybe we'd be at war now. To change a major event... I don't think it's wise.
To change a friend's past may be for the better, but how do you know if it won't be much worse? It's the same argument as changing the history of whatever. Don't interfere with major things. If you want to mess up your own life (or change it for the better), do that, but if I'd be responsible for messing up my best friends life... oh no, I wouldn't be able to see him/ her out of guilt. Really.

I would save someone, and that "someone" is supposed to be my cousin, his wife, his sister and her husband..all of whom had died in a freak car accident....And the worst part is that my cousin was calling my other cousin on the cell, but she thought that he's on the door or something, not realizing that their car was crashed some miles away from the house and didn't pick up the phone....that was FREAK....if, i could turn the timeturner, I would definitely pick that phone up........

i would make somebody happy. maybe by buying someone something instead of buying myself something that i didn't need or maybe making myself going to see someone instead of lying around the house ... i think.

Ginevra_hena, I'm so sorry!

I was thinking a lot of things, but I feel like I would change that for you.
Another thing I would change is sometihng that is a long personal story and it wouldn't kake sense to give the short version, so I would save my mom from going through cancer and through years and years of radiation and chemotherapy.

I just chose save someone or something. I strongly agree with fate and you can't change the past so instead of sulking about what happened yesterday and try thinking about what you're going to do tomorrow to change yourself and make that bad thing in your past part of the better person you can be because everyone can always be better.

i dont think i would change the past, that can really mess with the future. I'm pretty happy with where i am right now. well i might go back to help a frien but then again that can really mess with their future as well. Even though it might be a change for the better.

I would change an event that happened in history, I don't know which one though. I think that to change something in history could affect you and other people for the better instead of just focusing on yourself and not other people.

Well, I'm not going to change history. For me, that would be absolute sacrilige because history is one of my favourite subjects on the planet. It is, in my opinion, other than drama and music, the best subject I take.
My life has had a few too many sad events. I'm not trying to be a person with sob-stories or anything but whatever. I think that people do need sad events in life. If everything was just sunshine and puppies then life would be a bit boring.
The "change someone elses past" one is kind of like changing a historical sad event for someone else so since I didn't chose either of those, I'm not going to chose this one either.
I chose "save someone or something" because that's the one that really matters. So many lives that were lost pointlessly could be saved and that's perfect for me!

I think that I would use a time turner to change a sad time in my life. Only because I've had a lot of sad times in my life that I would definitely like to change. Sorry if this is

but book-wise, I would have to change saving someone, if that makes any sense. But if I could change the saving of someone, I would save Sirius, because Harry really needs Sirius, now that times are getting even more dangerous for him. Sorry this is a little

There will always be people who don't want to follow the Rules. People who think their rebellious by posting a short post. But what they need to understand is that their only hurting themselves. I honestly don't care if members post short posts, as long as they understand that I will delete them so there will be no evidence that they even posted in the first place.
If I could change something in the books.....I'd also bring back Sirius. I don't care if someone else has to take his place, I'd want him back. He and Lupin are the best things in Harry's life, so to have the pair of them help him in DH would be brilliant.

There are so many things that I'd like to change. But for the most part, I am happy and as sad as it is to lose a loved one, I wouldn't change that. My grandma died about a year and a half ago. She was ready to go, she didn't want to be here anymore. I can't change the way other people wanted their life. So, considering those things, I think I'd have to go back enough to change some of the financial decisions I made earlier in my life.

Believe it or not...I can't think of anything at all I'd want to change. I switched countries several times and my mom's had two divorces, so I've been moved around a lot, but I really don't want to change it. I've kind of gotten sick of it and stopped wishing something had happened differently, so...I just get used to it and move on. Good thing, I guess, otherwise it would've been hard to live without a time turner.
