If you have any questions about the upcoming Order of the Phoenix video game, please post them here, because EA is willing to pass along any questions you have to the makers of the game, who will then fill in everyone at Veritaserum with their answers. I'll probably send them the list of questions later this week, so the sooner the better!

1.) Will the spell challenges be like that of the first three?

2.) What characters will us, the player be able to play as?

3.) What spells may be included in the spell challenges?

4.) Will the Dementors in the first part of the book, be in the game, and will Harry be able to fight them off, with his stag patronus?

5.) Will the player be able to power up their spells, like in The Chamber of Secrets?

6.) Will we get to fight the Doxys in the drawing room at the OotP?

7.) Will the Fray between the DEs and the 6 DA members be included?

8.) Will the Duel between DD and LV be included, as an actual playable part, or will it be a cutscene?

9.) Will there be any thing to do with getting out of the Forbidden Forrest, while being chased by the centaurs?

10.) Will Bertie Botts everyflavor beans be in this game, and will Fred and George have their makeshift shop still?

11.) Will we have the Firebolt, and will it be an item we can use, to freely roam the Grounds of Hogwarts?

12.) Will the game itself, be free roaming, and will we be able to freely explore, Hogwarts, 12 Grimmald Place, and the Room of Requirement?

13.) Will the DA meetings be some of the challenges that will allow us to obtain spellbooks?

14.) Will we get to be Ginny, when she is Seeking for the Gryffindore Quidditch Team?

15.) Will we get to be Ron, when he is Keeping for the Gryffindore Quidditch Team?

16.) Before the Ministry Fray, will we get to freely roam the DoM?

I have two questions and they are:

1. Will it be free roam like the first 3?
2. Will parts that aren't included in the movie be included in the game?

1- are we gonna have to find the chocolate cards collection ?

2- when the order arrive at the departement of misteries, how the action is gonna be? a cutscene or we can be one of those like sirius or lupin, or they will be fighting and we will be harry and he'll be fighting too?

3- is the game gonna be longer than all the other ones?

4- are we gonna have to fight as sirius against bellatrix?

5- how big is gonna be hogwarts this time and how much rooms and places are we gonna be able to explore?

6- are we gonna play in grimmauld place or is it gonna be just a cut scene?

1. Will we get to play the scene with Grawp and the centaurs in the forbidden forest?

2. Will we get to control any of the members from Dumbledore's Army apart from Ron, Harry, and Hermione?

3.Will the thestrals be included in the game?

I've already included, your first one, Ellie. I like your third question. I wonder if well actually get to fly the Thestrals, like we do, with Buckbeak, in PoA?

Right now, I have two questions yet to be offered.

1. Will there be interactive sequences for the players to use puzzles for accessing the Floo Network and/or Harry's trip into Snape's memory?
2. Will the dynamic of the roleplay change now that Ron and Hermione are prefects?

Nice questions, Tuitus. I would like to know about those also. And, will we have to do the task, near the end, to get into Umbridge's office, to see if Sirius is at the MoM, and that if the dream Harry has, is indeed a trap, set by Lord Voldemort.

My main question is this: will OotP be on Nintendo Wii? Or will it be on the Gamecube? Or will it be on both? Or will it be on none of the nintendo systems? lol

Aquamatey to answer your question, The OOTP game will be available on the Nintendo Wii only, not the gamecube as they are doing away w/ the gamecube at the end of this year.
You will get to play as different charactors, you can play as DD fighting Voldy, you can play as Sirius fighting Bellatrix, but as far as other charactors (Ginny, Neville Draco) I have not heard if you can play as them or if they will just be in the game.

question here: where are we gonna get the answers ??

The OoTP game will be on PC too?Please...there are so many people who want it to be on PC.

That's BS about the gamecube. What? They think that since their doing away with it that no one is gonna play it anymore?? I'm not sure I want to get the Wii as I want to see what, if any bugs there are in it first. Also, I'm not gonna sit in line for hours upon end just to maybe get one. Guess I'll be buying to for the Xbox360....

Hi, I'm stuck trying to climb that courtyard to get Colin Creevey's camera. I've reparo'd as much as I can find. I am sure I need to climb where that vine is on the wall (I already burned that down) and that I need to move benches or stack benches to do it. But I've stacked 3 and 4 benches in the right corner by the gutter, then in the left corner by the big 2 tiered ledges. I get a note saying "you are near something you can climb" when I'm there, but I can't climb it. I've tried stacking three flat to the left wall, to the vine wall and was trying it on the doorway side, but the benches are hard to maneuver there.

What am I doing wrong?!

Im playing OOTP for xbox 360.Does anyone know were the five talking gargoyles are in the game. I have been stuck for hours looking for the last one.

Well this is kind of hard to describe, but I'll have a go at it and just yell at me if you don't understand!

The part you need to climb is by the section where you enter the courtyard at. You need to stack two benches on top of each other and another in front of them to climb up onto a ledge. I believe it is a jutted-out piece that you climb onto, then you reach a gutter and have to climb up it and several others before you get to the camera. There are a few spots to reparo along the way, but I hopefully got you going in the right spot. I tried for about twenty minutes before I found the right spot (I was climbing up the guttering by the statues and ending up on the roof right above the camera and it wouldn't let me drop down, so I had to find the new route located right by the entrance where you come into the courtyard). Also, make sure you are facing the benches long side when you try to climb them.

Let me know if I was not clear enough!

I was stuck on finidng my last one too (which may not be the same), but here is where I found one that may be tricky.

Go to the entrance courtyard and use the marauder's map to lead you to the paved courtyard. There is a gargoyle along the way there, and if you have already found that one, there is a talking gargoyle located in the paved courtyard on the landing surrounding it. You'll have to repair the stairs to get up there and it is located all the way at the end of the landing - you have to go around the corner and other statues lining the walls.

Hmm i was stuck on the gargoyles myself i was actually really getting frustrated. The Gargoyle i found last was the one i think on the fourth floor and it was just in that corridor that wnet outside. I jumped when i heard Hermione say " I think there's a talking Gorgoyle somewhere around here." I was like halluyah.

The potrait in the Libary want's the headline from the daily Prophet and he says go down to the Great hall because there are lot's of owls there. But i don't known how do get the owls to give e a newspaper. And i can't actually see any owls anywhere. So it was very confusing. This thread is great. Because it's nice to know people are they to help.

i got the game on the PC and im at the part when they are supposed to sneak in Umbridges office to prevent Fred and Geroges expulsion and I keep walking in circles

I dont know if the footprints I see are the ones im supposed to follow or the footsprints of the trio.

Yeah. At first that was my problem but don't worry you'll be right to follow thosse footprints they are the ones you follow. It's handy because Hogwarts is so big it's easy to get lost. I do think this is the best Harry Potter game by far!!

I was wondering this.

Is this game's style similar to CoS ( use spells whenever you want ? ) Or can you only use spells when the game tells you to?

you know the part when cho chang forgets to adress her owl and it flies up to the top of the owlery well im completely stuck i cant get the owl to come down ive mended the pipes maybe i need to do something else and theres this big thing in the middle of the top and i dont know if i need it or if its just there? any solutions

go thru door off end of suspension bridge. there is a spiral stair case. there is one halfway up the stairs

from grand stair case go to 4th floor go down hall way up stairs and there is an open archway to an outside ledge the last one is out there



I belive there should be a news paper laying on floor in great hall. around dining tables. you just have to walk up and hit your interaction button to find it.



The game says I have beat 3 of the 4 gobstone players, but I can't find any more. does anyone know were all 4 are? please help. thanks

I'm trying to find the password for the portrait whom i call 'The Riddle Man Portrait.'(I think he is the portrait wearing pink on the 3rd level of the Grand Staircase) Anyway when you ask him for his password he sends you on a sort of treasure hunt to find the password.

I have just been to the Professor Portrait(studious success) and have been told to find the portrait of a shepherdess on the 2nd floor landing but i can't find her...

Any help?

Beyond the veil, the shepherdess is on the second floor on the stair case between the second floor and the floor where Transfiguration coutyard is. It's that one that makes comment about your hair.

I have a problem with potion. I can't find potion book. I' ve gone to the library but I don't know how to find that book .

Well you have to climb up where the owl is and it'll keep flying away until you chase it to the top and then when it lands on top of one of the pipes you climb up the pipe and catch it.



Ok I think I know where the book is. Go into the library and go into the left hand side of the restricted section and walk straight ahead. The back wall is a big bookshelf. Go to the bookshelf before the back bookcase, the one on the far left and there is a shelf which just has one book on it. When you go near it press square and you have the potions book! Sorry, if this is the wrong book. I don't have the game on me right now so i apologise if thats wrong.

first of all, I don't know if I am the only one but I find it kind of hard here to see what Formate are you playing with.

So, her I am Stuck with my Problem at the PSP!

I've got nearly everything done at Hogwarts. Just Hermine is still saying we need to find all of the members. And I still have three tasks to do which my map is showing me.

One is at the Griffindor Comonroom - I can not talk to anybody there and I don't know what I have to do there.

The other one is at the Library - there is nobody in the library at all. So I don't know what to do there. I've got the one book that you had to follow through the whole library. has it something to do with the book?

And the third task that it's showing on the map is there, were you get the task with the gargoyles. (I didn't find them yet so I think that's the open task there - that's one of my greater problems so, if somebody could help me here first. thanks for that) Like you are all saying there should be one near to the student who gave you the task, well there is no Gargoyle at the PSP game.............

3. In the Paved Courtyard, up the stairs
4. On the stone pathway to the Viaduct
5. On the fourth floor. Go up the stairs to the left of the portrait. You
will find it through the door on the left. Run all the way to the end
of the balcony to find it.

I have a problem with the PSP game like MorgaineLeFay.

The Gryffindor Common Room. There's nobody there to talk to and I've done everything I can think of. I levitated furniture and accioed the board by the entrance to the common room, but nothing happens.

My second problem was a task at the Transfiguration Courtyard but I think that's the gargoyle task. If it isn't, PLEASE HELP ME!!!

and i think it's computer problems
when you have to find all the members in the DA for the second time you have to get those howlers into the owlery for Colin so I climbed up there I reached the door to the owlery but it wont get through that way. It's just killing me.I went down and climbed the tower again but he gets stuck just in front of that door and won't move in any direction but back. I had another game saved at the same point (i did it by mistake) and i tried in that one to climb up there but the same problem, harry just can't get in through that door :|. Do you think i should reinstall it? It would be a pain because I've got so far and i don't feel like starting over. Please help

There are 4 possessions to find, here's where they are:
1. In the Library on a table
2. The Viaduct Entrance, near the portrait, by the bookcase
3. The Clock Tower Courtyard, by the fountain
4. The Entrance Courtyard, levitate the broom and sweep up all the leaves until you find it

I think I have a more correct answer to seriouslyserious' question. The newspaper is not laying around in the great hall, it is at the headmaster stand. If you go up to the owl stand at the front of the great hall, cast depulso on it. Two owls will swoop down and drop a newspaper, run to it and pick it up.

I have many questions myself.

*How do you complete the Gryffindor Common Room?

*Where are all of the ghosts?

*Where is the last Fred and George package?

I don't know really, if you haven't got any more tasks to complete then it's the end of the game. You can still explore the castle, though, and try and unlock more special features, or see if you can get more trophies.

Okay, I figured out what to do. When you are done and you have talked to Luna, it is NOT the end of the game. You have to finish exploring the castle. You have to figure out what areas you have completed, and then finish the rest. Moaning Myrtle will keep popping up whenever you do something good, to tell you there is another secret in your secret room, on the sixth floor. You have to find the ghosts, find the chess pieces, finish the gargoyles, finish the mini-games (Gobstones, Wizard's Chess, and Exploding Snap), etc. Then you will have finished the game.

Im also playin on psp and am also stuck on the gargoyle bit!!

Ive done the following:
1. The defence against the dark arts gargoyle
2. Passage leading to viaduct
3.up the stairs from where you had to receive colin creevy's camera
4.Floor 4 outside on the balcony

I looked for the one that someone mentioned earlier about one being right where dean was in the transfiguration courtyard but i cant see anything there at all.

This is really annoying ive been stuck for ages!!Glad if someone could help!

There are loads of usuful websites around. For the Colin Creevy queston, when you see the the camera at the top and it is just across the gap. Use wingardium Leviosa (swish and flick) to drop towards Colin, Ron and Hermy. Hope I helped

Okay, so I'm not sure if all of the game systems have the same game setup, but I decided to get the Order of the Phoenix for Nintendo DS and I have been really far in the game so far. I have just finished the part at the Ministry, and then after I win all the battles, I end up back in the Gryffindor common room. I honestly don't know what else to do from here on. Does this mean that I have beaten the game? Because when I start up the game, it says I'm only at like 70% done. So, what's the dealio with that?

I have it and I have the Wii game too- I think it's a bit the same. In the Wii game there are plenty of things in the castle that you have to discover and clean up, etc., and they count in the percentage. So you won't be done the game completely as long as you haven't done all the chores left, like helping people (I thnk that's only for Wii) and cleaning up. I'm pretty sure that's the only problem you have, though I'm not 100% sure if it does the same with the Nintendo DS game... I'll have to check.

In the viaduct hallway thingy that leads to the dungeons, there is a portrait there that says he'll give you the password if you are alone with him. How do get alone with him? Because Ron and Hermione follow you around everywhere!!! Also, With the Slytherin portrait, she says she'll give you the password if a Slytherin tells you, but none of the Slytherins tell you!!! If anyone could help me, that would be great!! Oh-- and i have the Wii system, if that makes a difference. Thanks!!!!

i have a problem. i am playing on my ps2 and i just finished sending howlers with colin and now there are no tasks and i can not find anyone in the D.A even the map shows no one. what am i supposed to do next?

I am on the DS game and i cannot find anymore of the things you have to do spells on i have like 4% of the game left and i cannot find any!!! does anyone know any websites to help or if you can help on here i would really appreciate it!
