No Im not worried either. Its definitley going to be them. After bulding R/Hr up so much in the books this is going to be the relationship that lasts it wasn't rushed into like H/G.
I remember reading somewhere that when Ron says "I love you, Hermione" (I know he only meant it in a friendly way that time) but it was the first time ANYONE has ever said the words in the books. That's got to be significant and foreshadowing!

of course ron and hermione will hook up. JK has even said that they will, i dont have the exact interview but you can find it in MUGGLENET.COM'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN HARRY POTTER 7. THe hbp deffinantly showed at the end that they will go out, but the bickering wont stop!

Oh, there definitely ain't a doubt in my mind that those two will be together in Deathly Hallows.
The only question is how?

I'm sure it will be a surprise eve though we now it's coming.
r*hrfan, I also love those outtakes from HBP

Jun 20 2007, 05:36 AM
Hmm, I only said so because not to long ago people seemed to be worring, in general, that Ron and Hermione wouldn't get together, but it's good everyone is thinking that such a thought is foolish.
r*hrfan, you're right, it is the first time anyone said those words...in that order. Even though it was "I love you for doing that."

Where have you read it? Please, let us know so we can read it too

I just love when Rupert and Emma talk about the R/Hr relationship...
r*hrfan
Jun 20 2007, 09:10 PM
Here is what Rupert says about R/HR
Rupert talking ahead!!
“The scenes with Grawp were amazing,” Rupert Grint states. “They had this massive head and shoulders on the set and you could almost forget he wasn’t all there. They were some of my favorite scenes to do because when Grawp takes a fancy to Hermione and picks her up, Ron gets jealous and tries to come to her rescue. He tries to play the hero and beat up a giant and you can guess how that turned out,” he grins. “It was fun because I got to do a little stunt work when he sent me flying.”

Hahaaaaaa, that'll be awsome! Can't wait to see this moive.
Nah, i'm definatly not worried, as R/Hr has been confirmed by JKR herself. The big boss said so. There. It's a done deal. now we can speculate on how they'll get together ... hmmm ....

Maybe it is a signifigence? It is the first time someone has actualy said "I love you". I find that as quite funny as it's Ron saying it Hermione, and she turns pink it says, if you read it. Maybe it is forsahowing. Anyone else think so?

That sounds pretty funny. I don't consider information about movies spoilers because, the movies are reflections of the books, I've already read the books...more than once.
I'm very much looking forward to the movie, it seems that it's all going to be good for us!
I'm praying for a hug still, another one...exicting.

I, too, am extremely excited for the Ron/Hermione moments that are
sure to be in the movie. They haven't let me down, yet

I'm re-reading
The Half-Blood Prince one last time, and it's amazing how many Ron/Hermione moments are in the book, and I've never paid that much attention to it until now.
Hermione sees Ron snogging Lavendar for the first time and runs to an empty classroom. Harry follows her and not too long after that Ron and Lavendar come in thinking the room was empty. Hermione had made canaries appear out of thin air, and upon leaving the room she makes them attack Ron. Saying she was very hurt would be an understatement.
Then, Ron finds out that Hermione is taking Cormac to the Slug Club's Christmas party, when she was supposed to be taking Ron. I believe it was Parvati who asked "Are the two of you going out?" or something like that, and Hermione "gave a very un-Hermione like giggle" and said "Yes, didn't you know?" Obviously, she knew this would make Ron very jealous.
All of this is just that much more proof. I'm sure these points have alrready been brought up in the past, but I've been reading them and thought I might bring them up. And I say, with all of the confidence in the world and no doubt in my mind
at all, that this is just foreshadowing Ron and Hermione's relationship in
The Deathly Hallows. And I cannot wait!
Moon(I luv you Luna)
Jun 22 2007, 12:54 AM
There's no doubt it's forshadowing. I loved HBP, not just because of the R/Hr moments, but the R/Hr-ness increased my liking for it!
But the one thing that makes me go "HA!" or "Hehehe ..." is GoF. There are so many things in that book like when Rita's article came out saying that hermione was two-timing Harry, Hermione says "How did she know?" Notice Ron's the one to react. And he's sounding worried. Then Hermione explains that Victor asked her to stay and she blushes and immmideitly avoids
Ron's eyes. Read it again, and it's there.
Also when they've been pulled out the lake, notice that Hermione doesn't react to Fleur kissing the boys untill she kisses Ron. It describes her as looking furous. Why would she be furious?
I'm just mulling these things over. I've been reading GoF to my little sister, and these things are freash in my mind right now. Besides-there's only 28 days till DH!
Amyrat151
Jun 22 2007, 03:29 AM
I'm reading GoF too, although I'm at the beginning. It's interesting that we're all reading the books. I have a thought for all of you, next time you crack open any of the books just think that's there's most likely someone doing the same thing at the same time.
It's an exiciting time to be a R/Hr shipper, and a Harry Potter fan.
What I think is interesting about OotP is that at that point, Ron knows he likes Hermione, and Hermione knows she likes Ron. But they're not to sure about the other, I'm way exicited to see that tension, the "does s/he like me?"
Moon(I luv you Luna)
Jun 22 2007, 09:08 AM
Tension. That is why R/Hr is ment to be. there's tension. There's feelings. And i love the whole "Do they like me? Should i go for it? Or will i be making an idiot of myself?"
Go R/Hr, man!
Sorry, i've been saying "Man!" a lot recentally. (sp?)
But yeah, i love that we're all reading the books. 28 days! Yes! 28 days and we'll finally have the R/Hr-ness we've been waiting for! I can't wait to see what JKR's put together. But i'm also a bit ... nervous ... i mean, would she screw it up? There's talk that JKR can't write romance to save her life. What do we reakon?
Me, i hope it'll be ok. If not, i'll just re-write it and put it up on fanfiction. Lol.
Mistress of Magic
Jun 22 2007, 03:00 PM
I reckon that JK has had R/Hr planned for a while now. Which means that she is probably wanting to just write it, because she has been building it up gradually and she wants to write the climax. This suggests to me that when the R/Hrness finally bursts forth from her imagination to the page and then to us, that it will be exactly as planned for so many years. In other words, I don't think that Jo will let us down/ I have faith that she can do it realistically and beautifully.
If not, as Moon says, there is always fanfic lol....
r*hrfan
Jun 22 2007, 05:10 PM
Yeah definitley. She's know the last chapter for years. She knew were R/Hr getting together from book 1.Even H/G got together quickly but JKR took her time with R/HR. She wanted it to be a good ending and showed how their feelings developed.
JKR had to build up the relationship so it would be the one that lasts!
BamaGirl08
Jun 22 2007, 09:07 PM
Some people say JK can't write romance to save her life, but I say that the books aren't meant to be romance novels, so what she does put in is great because it takes time. She has slowly developed both Ron and Hermione throughout the novels, giving each of them a chance to date other people so they will know who they really and truly have feelings for, and that is each other.
To the people who don't like JK's romance writing, I say cut her some slack. You're gonna read it anyway! These were originally dubbed children's novels, even though I don't think they really are just that anymore, and like I said, she isn't writing a romance novel.
Not to say that I don't like it, because I definitely do

Ok, I'm going to post a possible spoiler - but I don't belive it is one...
POSSIBLE SPOILERS??Ok, I've read the so-called end of the 'Deathly Hallows' that some hacker named Gabriel posted on a web page. He allegedly hacked into a computer of a Bloomsbury employee.
» Click to Show Spoiler - Click Again to Hide... «
It says that Hemrione dies trying to save Ron's life when Voldemort suddenly appears in Privet Drive - AT THE END OF THE BOOK. Hmm... What would the Trio be doing there at the end of the book? Possibly they came for a visit to Harry's favourite relatives?
Lol, that part cracks me up... This hacker totally doesn't have a clue about Harry Potter books.
Right.
MOD EDIT: I have edited your post by inserting the spoiler tags. Writing 'spolier' at the beginning of a post does not hide the text. For future reference, this is our spoiler policy. Thanks

Jun 22 2007, 10:29 PM
I agree. Definitley wouldn't believe it either. I mean you think they'd do research better than to believe that they'd be there at the end of the book

I am preparing my self for Ron,Hermione or Harry dying though. Im gonna expect the worst so that way I'll be more suprised if they don't.
Moon(I luv you Luna)
Jun 23 2007, 01:28 AM
I'm personally not believing any spoilers until i've read the book. Those people obviously don't care about us fans who wait for years to read the ending. I don't know about you, but when the 5th book came out, i was in form 2, and a guy was running around the school yelling "Dumbledore dies! Dumbledore dies!" obviously he was wrong, but i believed him and cried in the middle of class. Let's just say i kicked him at lunchtime and got a bruise. I'm very wary of spoilers.
But that spoiler? Hmmm ... i honestly don't believe it. But i guess with JKR you never know.
PS. Am i off-topic? I hope not ... i think i rambled a bit ...

Now I know this is completely against the rules (what with me being a H/Hr supporter deep, deep down inside) but I've just returned from seeing the OOTP at the cast/crew screening in Leicester Square, London.
All I can say is:
this film will be R/Hr shippers favourite yet.
No cruel tension or bikkering:
just. plain. flirting.its cute...even if I do say so myself!
So enjoy the revelling in glory

I hope they go to Bill & Fleur's wedding together. I can just picture Hermione catching the bouque( no idea how to spell that). Everyone looks at Ron and he and Hermione both turn bright red.

And if Krum is there then Ron will just rub it in that Hermione is with him and not Krum.

Only aroud 2 weeks now
tonyr007
Jun 24 2007, 11:17 PM
It started after Ron & Harry saved her from the troll. It built up after Ron realized in GoF that Hermione is a girl, plus after the Yule Ball he was jealous of his hero Krum. They really do like each other now, even though they will continuel get on each others nerves. But, ultimately they'll be there for each other.
Hermione might even be late to class because she's too busy kissing Ron to realize the time. Ron won't care about being late but you know Hermione will have a hard time of it. But occassionally she'll just say to heck with class and continue making out with Ron.

Thanks the_one_to_watch. That's reeeeeeeeally great to know! R/Hr has been building up for ages in the books-surely they can let it in the movies as well? I don't think there's that many R/Hr moments in the movies so far-that's what annoys me. Oh well.

I had a feeling that OotP would be my favorite movie, a feeling that I couldn't explain. I'm getting more exicited for it honestly. Not just the R/Hr stuff, but Dan being CAPS LOCK Harry, and all the interviews say that Miss Lynch is the the perfect Luna, it should be awsome.
I think that the "ending" that Miss_Granger posted must be cr*p, Voldermort turns up on Private Driver the end, lame.
heart_of_a_nobody, that sounds cute, Hermione catching it. Very sweet, but I don't think Ron will rub anything in Krum's face, Hermione won't be impressed and I doubt that Krum still has feelings for her.

I totally agree with you Ellen. Ootp is honestly going to be my favorite Harry Potter movie out of all of them so far! CAPS LOCK Harry, all the DA stuff, R/Hr flirting, the Cho Harry kiss, etc. Also If Voldemort would turn up on private drive that would be lame and abit predictable. I think the Ron hating Krum and wanting to punch him thing is over. Ron has matured quite alot near the end of HBP. And I am sure that Krum has long moved on without Hermione.
Moon(I luv you Luna)
Jun 28 2007, 05:12 AM
Yeah Ron's matured. I think he realised that he had to if he ever wanted a chance with hermione.
And i do, but don't want to see OotP. I'm afraid it's going to be completly killed, or absolutly wonderful. I'm not sure which because i've heard some good stuff and some bad. But the only thing that reeeeally annoys me is the stuff that wasn't in the books, but if it's R/Hr, then i'm ok. Lol.

I love the idea of Ron and Hermione! The bouquet thing is absolutely adorable, but my fear is that Jk won't have time, what with Harry having to find all the horcruxes, destroy them and kill LV, to get the R/Hr relationship where us loyal shippers want it to be. And I'm sorry I know the book is called Harry Potter, but if nothing happens between Ron and Hermione in the seventh book, I'm gonna rip up the book and turn it into paper and write hate mail to Jk on it.
Moon(I luv you Luna)
Jul 2 2007, 09:39 PM
Nah, WeasleyIsMyKing, this is the plan-we stoaway on a plane to England (Unless of course you're already there) then we take pitchforks and torches and be a part of the angry R/Hr shippers outside her house until she agrees to write a missing moments full of R/Hr good-ness.
Ok, obviously not going to happen, but a girl can dream, right?
As for Hermione catching the Bouquet, i would love that. It would be forshadowing, but not so serious that they have to play into it right away as they've still got Horcrux hunting to do.
And don't worry, WeasleyIsMyKing, JKR will have time. She'll have to have time. Otherwise-execute opperation-angry-mob!

The_one_to_watch, I really appreciate you filling us in. Very noble.
As for the angry mob, I have my pitchfork ready!
I am so stoked about this movie. I was already happy, but as soon as I read about the amount of Heroness in OOTP, I got up and danced around my house.
Hermione catching the bouquet? I would looove that. Many Jo can have Ron sweating in his shoes, because he knows....
So, soooo happy right now...

Smiles all around, I think. I've made a dent in OotP, I'm on page 120 or so, anytime I read HP, I'm happy.
I don't think we'll need fire guys, I have complete faith that JK will satify us.
I read an interview with Emma, talking about the possibilty of her kissing Rupert in HBP...I was a tad confused because, as far as we know, they havn't kissed yet.

Yes! Now, I don't think I can wait for the movie, knowing it's going to be filled with lots of Ron and Hermione bits! I agree with everyone that it would be adorable if Hermione catches the bouquet, and everyone looks at Ron. (Who knows, though, they might not even throw bouquets in a Wizard's wedding) Wait, they might kiss in HBP movie? I hope the writers and directors choose against it, because it would really mess up the whole jeolous war they were having with Mclaggen and Lavender. They should save the big kiss for the 7th movie where it will truley happen in the book (or better happen) because if it doesn't I will get out the dusty pitchfork and join you guys in the whole angry mob. I am even more excited for the book and movie, now, if that is even possible!

I loooove the idea of Ron and Hermione!!! They are like the cutest couple in the books. I think that's why JK is saving it to the last book, she's building the suspense. And she's also saving the best ship to last!
The thing about Hermione catching the bouquet , that would be soooo cute! I love that idea, because they would ( Ron especially) get so embarrist (sp?)!
As for them kissing in HBP, that can't be right. For one JK wouldn't allow that as it isn't in the book and it would totaly spoil it. I think it was just a mistake from the interviewer, interviewers always make mistakes like that!lol
But any way! I just so can't wait for the last book, so I can't read about R/H. It'll just be so cute and I'll probably have this big cheesy grin on when I'm reading it! That's if it's in there, which it will be. Because if it isn't JK will have a
lot of angry fans to answer to. And I think I would have to join your angry mob and go out and buy a pitchfork just for the occasion.
But I do not doubt that it will be there. It's just been building up for so long, just leading up to the last book! I'm so excited - and I'm also rabbling so I'll stop now!

Lol guys, my sister actualy came up with opperation-angry-mob. She's a violent one. And she's only 12. Geez ...
Oh and WeasleyIsMyKing-call me Moon. It's easier to type and saves time. Lol.
As for a kiss in HBP ... maybe we'll have to direct our angry mob at Warner brothers studios insted. No
way can that happen. It would ruin the storyline. Maybe they're trying to make up for all the H/Hr that's been showing up in the movies? Dunno, but whatever the reason, they had better not do it.
But i'm hoping that movie!OotP will be excellent. I have to admit, even though quite a few stuff was left out (coughhouseelfscough) they were still pretty good. So long as there's R/Hr, even if it's only a little, then i'm fine.
Also, i'm not sure what to think about the "Just plain Flirting" as The One Too Watch said. Is this a god thing, as they're maturing? Or is it going to just ruin all the bickering in the books, as basically that's what's so funny about R/Hr-they fight when they know they don't mean it.
I dunno what to think now. I've confuzled myself.
WeasleyIsMyKing
Jul 5 2007, 01:09 AM
thanks Moon that is easier to type, and your right I just reread the 5th book and the fighting, to me, just proved how cute and unsure they were around each other. But im sorry I'm a Ron Hermione shipper through and through but if they but a kiss in the HBP movie i would be too upset to care. it would really ruin the whole series and when you think about it, us proud book readers have been waiting patiently, reading thousands upon thousands of pages waiting for this kiss, and our we gonna let some bandwagon moviegoers still our pleasure before it is due... NO! (sorry please don't bust me for an all caps word) Anyway I guess I'll have to settle with the flirting, but they're gonna have to do something to make Ron and Hermione mad at each other or not lovey with each other before the HBP movie otherwise they will cast Lavender Brown for nothing.

I just want to see what happens now. I really think we are gonna get a kiss. JRK said before "I didn't want Hermione to be the first girl Ron kissed". She said the same about Harry and Ginny.
I just hope we get to see them kissing and not just one of them telling Harry. That would be so annoying! But I'm sure JKR won't do that to us!
I can't believe its only 15 days till DH!!
