As everyone knows, Halloween is coming up. However, what candy are we going to serve? Apples? Well that's a way to save candy! Oranges? Great citrus intake! Candy? No! That makes your teeth rot! Like I care!
This thread helps us decide what to do for Halloween. For example, the 'Buddy' system, going to only people you or your parents know, and not trying to do the urban myth, stuffing a razor in a caramel apple.
This thread helps us decide what to wear for Halloween. For example, Ninja costumes, Star Wars costumes, or ballerina tutus!

No way!!!!!
This thread supports boys and girls. God, that was hard to type!
I'm a BOY, and a BOY shouldn't see what non-BOYS want to wear for Halloween! I'm a boy yet I will TRY to not puke while girls discuss what to wear for Halloween.
Adioos! Au Revoir! Bye! I need to shut up now!

Well, Fall_out_Girl, I'm hoping to make a prank to where I get a lot of candy and it probably involves staying up 'til 1o:oo pm! LOL!
I might go as a, umm...... Scream with blood dripping down my face (fake blood, it's an illusion.)

What's with the anti-feminine movement?))
I was given this intriguing idea of dressing up as a South Park character. Rather, getting with a group of friends and dressing up as South Park characters together. Too bad no one else wanted to do it with me.. So, now I really don't have an idea of what I am going to wear. Probably something cheap and hardly original, since I will only wear the costume in school.
Now, about the candy.. I am not really particular about buying candy that I myself am not going to eat. I think mini-Twix, -Milkyway, -M&Ms, -etc. should do it

yeah Im confused about the "anti-feminine movement" as well. Does this mean we all need our cootie-shots? **
circle, circle.. dot, dot, now I have my...**

Im just teasing you!
Anyway, Bluezz you are quite a well rounded girl! You like South Park! Thats awesome. Anyway, I was thinking about dressing up as V from from V for Vendetta, I loved the movie and I loved the outfit... I think that is what I might do.. if I go at all, it all depends on what everyone else does I guess... if not I will travel north (you live in MA, right?

) to go trick-or-treating with Bluezz... I want to be Mr. Mackey.. MmmKay!
I hope everyone has a joyous Halloween, it is one of my favorite holidays. Just dont forget to check your candy, there is some very strange people out there!

Well I am over here in lil' ol' Aus(okay not that little) and this is the second year I am going trick or treating. And I think I will go as a vampire. I have the teeth, cloak and clothes. I get to do it with my New Caledonian billets.YAY.
As for lollies I will be handing out jubes, fruit chews, banana splits and choclates. YumYum.

Yeah, please keep to costumes and candy, guys.
I don't know much about Halloween, but the candy sounds good!

Hmm, chocolates and jubey jelly sweets! I'd probably eat them long before I get to give them away though, so perhaps I should just stay right clear of trick or treating. The closest we get to Halloween here is my weird friends throwing Halloween parties, but yeah... Their idea of trick or treat does not involve candy.

Nah, Tom, I live in CT. Close)
Nice idea with V for Vendetta costume. Although I expect a lot of people will be dressed similar to that, since it was a hit movie this year.. Good film, too. We are actually watching it in English right now
Laurette, you are always welcome to come to the U.S. and trick-or-treat with the Vtm gang

There'll be lots of candy.

so tell me, Reanimated Corpse, what is this prank all about? haha...
i think i will just go trick-or-treating this year, and next year, and then stop.
and if no Hermione costume [or any female hogwarts student in this case], then i'll go as something else. but gosh no girly-girl costumes, no ballerina, no princess, no barbie *shudders*...
oh oh me and the rest of my family are going shopping for candy next week, most likely. ha we never give out healthy food...so no fruits. just candy, and not those nasty generic orange/yellow sticky candies...those are nasty.

I love Halloween. I absolutley love it with a passion.
I dress up like no other.
Ive been a sandwhich, a scarecrow, a Jamacian guy (dont ask), a Cat which happened to be very realistic we sewed the whole costume from skratch it was great, a lunch lady, a garbage can... list goes on.. This year I'm not sure what I wanna be ...gets harder as you get older. And besides the fact that the people at the doors are scared to death your gunna rob them or something.
I was thinking of being a 20's Flapper dancer. Me and a group of my friends all together. We all love dressing up so its good fun..
I live on a street where not many people come, so my mom goes the extra buck and gets whole big candy bars. I dont know because no one ever comes.. But for the few people that do, they are usually really happy. I know I am becasue I get the left overrrrss =]]

Well I read that last bit and I thought how nice. I would come to The U.S but it costs to much and I am recieving billets from New Caledonia. I would dress as a witch/wizard this year but my sister is and she as the broomstick.

Well, my plan is....
1. My friend Cristobal and I get SCARY costumes, and plastic 'satffs' or 'weapons' to go along with them.
2. WE record creepy sound effects.
3.
GET dry ice for fog effect. Oh, yeah. My mom won't let me handle anything dangerous. Especially when it's frozen CO2.
4. Get our yards in very scary conditions.
5. Prepare to scare the candy getters.
6. Go trick-or-treating.
7. Scare more trick-or-treaters.
8. Throw up from so much candy!
9. Do the same at the other's house.
10.
Puke out our stomachs. Sorry! Too disturbing.
P.S.: bluezz, where is the 'VTM' gang located? In Georgia?

Hello, guys! I'm in my Halloween costume, and it's hard to breathe in my mask. Of course, many masks are hard to breathe through. My coastume has a theme of a Lesser Demon. Blue mask with horns and movable jaw, sickle, and skeleton gloves. Also, I wear a black robe.
Hey, guys, this is my costume! If y'all are thinking of making a costume like, this, good for you!
Note: Hey, Albus, circle, circle, dot, dot, I still don't have my flu shot.
I ain't gettin' one. Maybe a cootie shot or 2.

i don't think i'm dressing up or really doing anything. my area is [mod edit]! but if i could i would dress up as a vampire. black dress really fancy and that, my new black boots that are too die for and a pair of cool eather gloves or something and i'd probably get a black wig and some teeth etc.

I'm going to be a vampire! To bad my cloak is kind of like a table cloth. If anybody watches the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy you'd know what Dracula would say. 'Dracula wouldn't be caught dead in a table cloth. Dracula wouldn't be caught undead either.'
We're giving out good candy in case no one comes so we can eat it!

ahh ok ok, im not going to dress up.
im just going to go with my little sister, annoying cousin or two, and my aunt. and eat their candy, haha.
oh we got so much candy, because last year a bunch of people came to our house and we ran out of candy, and had to use the ones we got. so now we bought like 600 pieces of candy in 3 bags total.
oh oh and im going to color my hair red that day. yeah im going crazy and coloring it a bright bright flouroscent red...but its temporary. and not all over, just streaks and stuff.

We bought tons of candy too because last year tons of kids came. This year hardly anyone came. I am still wearing my vampire costume, I probably won't take it off for a bit.
We got a lot of candy but someone gave out nuts. I even got a big 3 Musketeer bar!
I didn't see as many scary/gory stuff this year. Although there was one house with a moving thing and both times I went past it moved toward me.
My vampire costume was a cape, one of my mom's ruffley shirts, and a long purple skirt. We did my hair and face and I wore high boots.

Happy Halloween everyone!
wow today at school was funny. we had a costume contest at school, one for students, one for teachers. and these two boys...came dressed as girls. that was hilarious!!! ok one boy had a tank top and girl jeans, with matching purse...and the funniest part was that he actually stuffed his...well yeah you get the idea hahaha. and this other guy had on a pink shirt and had on a blonde wig...i think he's in my science class...and i think he went to my house today for candy. and the winner for students was this guy in a full bunny costume haha. winner for teachers was this teacher dressed as Elvis.
anyway, i went trick-or-treating. i didnt really go as anything. i went with two cousins and my sisters. we got a lot of candy, and my parents gave away like 500 pieces of candy, we had a few left!

I'm sixteen and a half so I don't go trick or treating anymore but I do dress up to go to my school's halloween dance. Last year, I was a sixties dancer. This year, I think I'm going to be a Genie. Hehe that would be fun.

I stopped trick or treating when I was about 16 too Fall_Out_Girl. I just dress up now for Halloween Parties, which are sooo much FUN! Last year I was Maria Sharipova. It was soo funny, because I bought a blonde wig and the whole tennis get up with the skirt and polo shirt and at the party instead of walking I would skip around as if I was in a tennis match. I know I looked like a completely dork.

I love Halloween, its like a free day to be as goofy as you want to be. There was this one guy that dressed up as clifford the big red dog. Haha you should have seen him, he kept hitting everybody with his tail when he turned.
For Halloween I would definitely recommend you throw or attend a Halloween party. It's great to see what kinds of costumes people come up with.

I have to go trick-or-treating because of my six-year old sister. I'm not saying that getting free candy is a bad thing but.... I dress up for Halloween parties too. Last year I went as a football player. I thought it was funny but my dad thought otherwise.. Oh well!! This year I think just for the heck of it I'm going to dress up for the Halloween party as either Hermione or Harry. Just because I like both.

I've always wanted to dress up like a disaster. You know, with those 'bands' around them which is put up around accidents and studd like that. Or a crimescene! Or I'd go all green, jealousy. They're both kind of strange, but I am a weird orignal really.

It always used to be kinda a competition with my friends to see who could have the best costumes. Some of the most awesome costumes I have ever seen other people wear is my friends Rubik Cube, skim milk, and a fire cracker. My favorite costumes that I have include my chocolate chip cookie (my friend and I planned to go as cookies and milk), and bubble gum machine.

I love Halloween, I never really have the best costume ideas, and according to my parents, "I'm too old, " but I'm only 14... It's free candy, I'm going. Last year I was the rosy-cheecked school girl... It was fun. Never went as a HP charater, but with my hair I could be Hermione.

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays! It's also my sister's birthday so we go to nightclubs all over town to celebrate. Last year, I went out Batman-style as Mrs Joker. My make-up was simply outrageous, as were the bits and pieces I bought to wear. That was my favourite Halloween as I did all my own make-up and no-one else was wearing the same thing. That's why I love putting it all together myself.

I'm not sure what to dress up as this year. We still have over a month to decide, though! I'd like to have a bit of a theme with me and my friends this year but I'm not sure what we could do yet.
I don't have much of an imagination when it comes to candy-making! I'm not very good in the kitchen!

Last year I went as a sort of "stargirl" - I was all glittery and sparkly basically. The year before I went as Hermione, which was fun.
Although I'm 15, I have to dress up every year because we have a Halloween camp with Scouts and everyone has to have a costume. I'm also hoping to have a Halloween party this year
But, does anyone has any ideas for Halloween costumes? I'd love to go as someone from Harry Potter again...

Sadly, most kids in my town stop dressing up for Halloween and going trick-or-treating when they're in the 6th grade.

But I still do! I don't trick or treat anymore, but I do dress up and take my sisters.
My favorite costume that I ever did was probably when me and my neighbor/friend went as Thing One and Thing Two from "The Cat in the Hat". We spray dyed our hair blue and made it look all crazy, and we got red sweatsuits and red felt to cover our shoes, and we sewed big circles that said Thing 1 and Thing 2 on them. I was very disappointed in one lady, though. She said "Hmm... One thing and two thing? What is that supposed to be?" I figured she had no childhood.
Last year I had no time for a costume, so that day I found an old yellow princess gown in the back of a closet, and put that on along with a crown. Wha la! It was pathetic, but it was a HUGE gown, so I felt pretty special...

Otherwise, all of my costumes were pretty normal. Vampires, princesses, a Powerpuff Girl, and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
I can't wait until Halloweedn this year, though! My dad and I go all out decorating for it...

Thanks, lol! Of course I don't mind. I think a lot of people do that kind of thing with their friends or partners anyway! I'm thinking about doing an Alice In Wonderland theme with my friends this year. I thought it might be cool because the movie is being released soon. One of them wants us to be the Sex and the City girls, though.

What about the girls from the new-ish St. Trinian's movie? I went out as Kelly from that last year. I bought the cool black wig for it, too, and I loved it! Or you could go as Bellatrix for a change this year? It wouldn't be much different from Hermione, just dark eyes, bushier hair and black clothing.

Well, for Halloween we usually go to a different country because my brother and I are too old for trick or treating (*sigh*). But, one year, an old lady gave my brother and best friend an apple each, and gave me a can of corn! She told us she had no candy and so ransacked her own kitchen. We used the corn for dinner

But, who can go wrong with a Halloween Party? Woot! Those are so fun, inviting your friends over for stuff like the apple-basin game and eating doughnuts with no hands without licking your lips, hangman, pictionary and CHARADES!!!!! I love charades, even though I'm crap lol.
Or you could dress up as Sweeney Todd and offer to give people haircuts if they don't give you candy, or if they give you corn....

Me and my sister talk about costumes all year!
This year, I was going to be Kate Gosselin, and my sister was going to be either Adam Lambert (him and Kate have the same hair, just different colour) or one of the Gosselin kids!
We have since changed our minds. She's going to be Bill Kaulitz and I'm going to be Tom Kaulitz! It should be fun to step into their shoes...and have dreadlocks for a day...
