My favorite actor/actress is Emma Watson, if I were to meet her I would pee my pants, faint, not be able to speak in words, or something else to completely embarrass myself!

I'm going to add a poll to this topic and move it to the movie polls area. My favorite actor from the entire series is Kenneth Branagh. If I met him. . .hmm, I'd probably blubber on hopelessly, not being able to make a coherent sentence. Then I'd shove a picture at him to autograph . . .then I'd snap a quick picture. . .then I'd hug him and run away before he called security. HA! Okay, I'm not that crazy-I'd probably ask him for an autograph, and huggle him for a picture! YEAH!

After Kenneth, I'd like to meet Alan Rickman. I'd also take a picture and ask for an autograph-and I'd give him a lot of compliments on his work because I really do think he's awesome!

You left out one important option ... "leave the actor the privacy to which he/she is entitled"... it would be so lame to do the fandom thing, so boring and uninteresting... I would want to have something to say, to discuss, to contribute, rather than gawk...

If I have a favourite celebrity on the HP films, it is Alan Rickman... and my admiration goes so much further than for what he does with Snape. I'd be absolutely tongue-tied, because I would have nothing to say that he hasn't heard a million times before.

I'd better get on with that play!!! Then we will have something to talk about.
And then, I suppose, I'd be cool and talk like a normal person. If that could ever happen!

I have a recurring dream about meeting people. The location, person and circumstances are usually slightly different, but it always follows exactly the same pattern and feel. It's a conversation, always. A kind of thrown-together situation, which means that we have all night to talk. I guess it sort of mirrors the types of conversations I've had with my aunt's husband, who's a playwright. It's always about the content of their work, and sometimes there's a philosphical or political angle too.

What I wouldn't give to be able to invite Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson and Nelson Mandela to dinner one evening. Or the HP adult cast and JK Rowling. Wouldn't that be the ultimate treat!

Anyway, if I walked into one of them somewhere, I'd probably be lost for words... My accent would change to this, and I'd make a complete fool of myself before managing to ask for an autograph.

I do not see fawning over another human being just because they are on television or because they are in movies. It's just not me. I also can't see myself going crazy over people that are that much younger than me. So I would probably just talk to them like they are regular people.

I'd scream first from suprise and shock, but that would last only 5 seconds, and then try to act completely like myself, but I'd probally say something stupid. In other words, a bit cooler that your nomarl fan.

honestly, i dont like the movies so i wouldn't care if i saw one of them- the movies are nowhere near as good as the books are!

Attempt to try and keep my cool. You know, just be a regular guy who is impressed with their success and for some, their dedication to this long running and life-devoting series. That is something that should be respected.

Well, I said that I would talk to them like a normal person and I probably would. Then afterwards it'd probably hit me and then I'd be like OH MY GOSH!!!! But that's just me. To me celebrities are just normal people except everyone knows their name!

Oh goodness! I have no idea what I would do! Probably be starstruck at first then hug one of them for hours on end until the police would have to come and pull me off! Then give them my e-mail address in the hope that they would one day e-mail me and we would become friends and eventually rule the world! MUHAHA! *little bit of a phyco moment there* Well I would try to talk to them like a normal person after fainting.

I'd just try to be cool and try to talk to them as if I was normal. I would ask them how they were and how the movie was going and just be really genuine. I don't think I would really freak out and be unable to speak but I would still not be able to believe my luck.

i would most probably faint... especially if the phelps twins get hit on the head and go to philippines ('cause i'm basically stuck here!).. as much as i would like to keep my cool and talk to them, casually... i just believe that if i do get to see them or any of them.. i'd.. as i've said.. faint.. i'd fall like the london bridge..

Of course I'll be thrilled, but I would be cool and talk normal, since they're persons, just doing their jobs, don't you think, well a job that it's reconized around the world, but they're not superheroes.

OH and I would talk with each and everyone of the staff members.

I've talked about this hipothetical situation with my friends, who know about my fanatism with Dan, and we've laughed a lot thinking what I'd do.
I believe that there will be probalby three main reactions:
1-scream veeery loud, I mean really loud, and start crying, hehehehe
2-faint
3-start taking pictures in a way very much like Colin Creevy ^^
I guess I'll probably do the three of them, hehe

My fave actor is Tom felton hands down, he is just too hot if I were to meet him, being the mature person that I am I would be very calm, cool , and collected when I talked to him. I would talk with him about his career and his interests and see if we shared any interests in lfe. Then I would probaly start flirting madly with him and hope that I could talk him into hanging out for a bit.

Well Id act cool and be mature, I mean they are human beings and dont want you freaking out on them. I mean they probably just want a normal life.. which they make billions of dollars but hey! its cool!

I know i'd probably do something ambarassing. I wouldn't mean to. I'd go and try and something cool, but end up completley wrecking it. If that really happened, i'd be so embarresed. I'd go away thinking, he/she didn't like me.

Favourite actors are Alan Rickman who plays Snape. Bit of talent for the older members and Robbie Coltrane who plays Hagrid. Just love him.

You know what it is like probably meet one of the cast in the loos of some club and ask them to sign a bit of loo paper.

Obviously this would not be Alan or Robbie or there would be questions as to why they were in the ladies loos, but you know what I mean.

I never know what to do infront of famous people. Once I saw an evening news reporter in a shopping centre, I thought if I tried to talk to her she would act ****y, so I just walked passed. I've been bragging that I saw her ever since.

i would TRY to keep my cool and not have an accident but it probably wouldn't work and i would scream and cry and shove a photo in there face and attack them with hugs and do something embarrassing(pee my pants most likley). everone WANTS to act cool and talk to them like they're "normal", but they would completly lose their resolve.and go :

I've met several famous people, but they were never people whose work I REALLY loved. So I acted really calm. However, if I met, say, David Thewlis, I'd probably start getting gradually redder and redder while trying to act normal and not treat him like something other than a person (meaning start jumping up and down while yelling, LOOK! It's David Thewlis! as if he's the new exhibit at the zoo). I'd try to lead a normal conversation, despite my redness.

However, to tell you the truth, the person I would kill to meet isn't an actor...she's a writer. Guess who? I would not eat anything with sugar for a year if I could meet her! No, I'd go without birthday and Christmas presents for 5 years, I swear! I would just LOVE to talk to JKR! I'd also love for her to sign my book. *sigh* Dream come true! Not that it ever will. Oh, shucks.

If I met Tom Felton I'd like to think I'd keep my cool. I'd treat him just like a normal person so that he wouldn't be weirded out and I'd try to have some good conversation with him. Of course I'd probably be a lot shyer than I usually am because I'd be nervous but that's to be expected.
