i would choose transfiguration because i have always wanted to turn one of my teachers into a mouse.

I'd choose charms, because I think that subject fits me best. I think professor Flitwick is a great teacher. He seems really nice in the books. Of course you wouldn't start with a patronus charm, but hey, anything would be great.
Defence against the Dark Arts is a subject I'd want to join as well, but if I had to choose it would still be charms class because of the teacher. You don't know what teacher in DaDA you'd have. If it'd be prof. Lupin, I'd definately choose DaDA. His lessons were the best according to the books.

I picked Care of Magical creatures cause I love animals

, the bigger the better. Some people say its weird for a girl to like all the scary stuff I like
I still want a dragon or a hippogriff like Buckbeak though
(maybe i'd prefare a griffen

)

I chose care of magical creatures because i think that class is so cool. I don't understand why everyone in HP complains about it. Ok so the biting book thingies (forgot what they're called) were pretty scary. But everything else was amazing, and i think Hagrid does a great job!

I would choose potions.I am really great at Chemistry so I think I would do good in Potions. And moreover I want to try out the Polyjuice potion.I want to turn into my enemy and mess up her whole image.

I'd take potions cause they seem most useful to me. So long as the potion is brewed right, anyone can use it. Ohter subjects are good too, but potions interest me the most.
And I'll take Snape as my professor, thanks. Detentions to follow, of course.

I chose charms because that's where you learn all the spells and things, so that would be awesome
Oh, and so you know, you spelt Arithmancy wrong.

Nov 17 2006, 11:48 AM
i would take DADA because it is the most important class in hogwarts, i think. Also it would be nice to defend yourself from the dark arts. If like voldemort came out of nowhere you could at lease make it were no one would forget about the fight.

Chose charms as there is nothing like a cheeky wee charm to help get you out or into trouble.
Whether it be the accio spell like Harry used in the Goblet of fire or the impedimenta spell to slow things down.
Or the charm that had been put on the ton tongue toffee or the canary creams by Fred and George.

I chose Transfiguration because i think it would be cool to become a LEGAL animagus, and also, if i got sick of my fiance, I could just turn into a beta, so my other beta could eat him.....even though thats mean....
my second choice would probably be divination though, IF taught by the right person, maybe Firenze, as long as its not Trelawney, she's annoying.

Nov 24 2006, 05:11 AM
Charms for sure. It seems like it would have the best bet for being a good all-around kind of magic. Doing dishes..making my school bag fly...not to mention cheering charms...oh I'd abuse that one

for sure. Potions would be my second choice..

I voted for other because I would definately choose to take DADA as it is the subject that I am fascinated by the most and I think it is really interesting. I ld really like to learn it because I would want to know how to defend myself as it would be really important.

I voted Divination because I like all that fourtune telling stuff. Especially Tarot Cards. Though I didn't choose it because i am a fan of trelawny. To me it seems important to me because knowing the future seems like a power to have.

I Would most defiantly choose charms.
Why well you see, it would be nice to learn counter jinxes and complex ones as well.
Plus i think professor flitwick is cute!

i chose Charms.
it would be awesome to make things fly, and whatnot. doing things around the house, hm. and maybe homework help and stuff. you know, just to turn pages, write stuff for me.
charming
Dec 5 2006, 01:29 PM
I voted Charms...because I had to choose!
But now I realise I should have said other...because I really really really want to learn to fly! I think it would be such a good feeling!
Ofcourse I really want to learn it all!

Potions.
It would be so interesting.

Dec 5 2006, 08:37 PM
It would be either Charms or DADA, but since there isn't DADA I chose Charms, and you know what would be a cool lesson also? Flying, I don't know why they don't take flying lessons anymore but it would be great to fly on a broomstick and soar in the wide blue sky.
Anyway, I chose Charms because it's realy great to learn new spells and accomplish them, I would really like to know a good bunch of spells that will definetely come in handy.

My favorite class is DADA because of all the different creatures ad spells you learn they are so dangerous and scary. Its so fascinating that its nearly everyones favorite class.
Miss Minerva Mcgonagall
Dec 11 2006, 12:49 AM
Flying lessons definately! The thought of flying away on a broomstick is wierd...but cool all the same. Defence against the dark arts isn't in there...wonder why! But that's probably my second choice.

Dec 11 2006, 12:59 AM
It would either be charms or DADA. Charms is just a good one to take, there are so many spells/charms you can use in everyday activity. DADA would be great to take, to learn about creatures and to learn how to defend against evil!

Transfiguration is the subject I voted for because it's interesting, the teacher actually teaches best and I would probably ace the subject under her guidance, and basically because I loved Chamber's scene..."One, Two, Three...feraverto" (or it sounded like this)

Dec 12 2006, 06:39 PM
Transfiguration definetely! How useful to be able to change one thing into another thing you could use as well..And to learn how to change your own appearance would be sooo cool..You could go anywhere and not be recognized. Transfiguration also seems to be the most difficult next to potions. I love a challenge.
hp is my obsession
Dec 17 2006, 10:44 AM
I would choose Transfiguration because imagine all the things you could do using all your disguises

It would awesome. And besides I like scaring people half to death hehe

i dont remember what i chose.....

it was probably charms, although now i think about it, it would be good to do DADA because its so important, although i could always join the DA!

Dec 17 2006, 05:02 PM
I voted for potions because you could learn so much stuff in that class. You could learn how to poison someone or get the real truth out of someone. Theres just so much more things I can do with potions than any other class.

i chose charms because that is the subject that you learn most spells, i think they are the most useful spells and it seems to be the funnest class (every year, so DADA is ruled out), but if i couldnt take charms it would be transfiguration....

I chose charms because I think that would be the most useful to learn.
You could charm things to get stuff done faster, and you could have a lot of fun with it too.
My other pick would be DADA, that would be majorly useful as well.
But I think any class that teaches magic would be amazing.

I would deffinately choose to do Defense Against the Dark Arts. It sounds really fun, especially with a teacher like Lupin!! Although Charms would be quite good as you learn all the, well, charms there lol!!

I chose Transfiguration because I would love to transform animals and people

, especially one of my teachers

. I love this subject because Mcgonagall teaches it!

Divination is the most appealing to me, at the moment. I'd like to have the opportunity to clearly see the present, and even a bit of the future. Although, there is a slight chance it would end up not being useful, considering Harry always ended up seeing the same prediction. Furthermore, I'd just like to see if it had any consistency to it.

I choose
other for Defense Against the Dark Arts, because i think that could be really, really, useful. and it would be fun to learn shield charms and hexes an such

and use them

charms because there are so many uses for different charms and they all do different things

I chose the "other" option. I would love to take Defense Against the Dark Arts. It is such an important class and I would want to learn how to properly defend myself against dark forces. It would be super fun, too! I would love working with boggarts and learning about werewolves, etc.

I would choose Transfiguration so I could turn my husband into some inanimate object when I get mad at him. Then I can yell at him as much as I want to without him walking away. Yes...I am insane!

Jan 24 2007, 05:16 AM
I chose other because even if I learned those things, I wouldn't really use them in the magical world, but I want to take the broom class in Hogwarts where in the first movie Prof. McGonagall sees Harry fly and chooses him to be the seeker for Quidditch. So I'd want to learn how to fly a broom
lolly jar
Jan 24 2007, 07:06 AM
I would love to take
PotionsI think it would be excellent to be able to brew up some Felix Felicis. As long as Snape isn't teaching it, otherwise I might end up in detention too many times for having a big mouth!!

Jan 27 2007, 12:25 AM
My number one choice without a doubt would be Defense Against the Dark Arts. It sounds like such a cool class!! I would want to take that class in a heartbeat...unless it was a teacher like Umbridge

That would drive me CRAZY! I can't stand just learning out of a book. I want to do stuff with what I'm learning, and normally with DADA that would be a normal day. However my second choice would most likely be Trasfiguration. I'm not sure why

but i think I would like it!

I chose charms because there's really such a wide range of spells that you could learn by taking charms. That would be so cool!

Feb 4 2007, 03:49 PM
I chose OTHER because I would totally take Defense Against the Dark Arts!!!
But I can't say that it's THE most important of all the classes, though. You guys, what do the Hogwarts students learn the most in DADA?? Spells, right? So that would mean that we have to take Charms, which is also one of my favorite classes
And what about the big introduction that Snape made in Harry's first Potions class?? Potions may come in handy too. Then I'll have to say that these three classes complement each other, so I'd never pass any of them

Feb 5 2007, 11:29 PM
I chose Potions because I really like the idea of it. I think it'd be cool to throw a bunch of ingredients together and make anything from a sleeping potion to a love potion or even an antidote to a poison. It'd be really handy to have Potion skills and I'd find it fun to whip up some good ones.

Feb 7 2007, 09:34 PM
I chose other for DADA. Although Charms was a clsoe second because I think it'd be cool to know all those little things. But defense against the dark arts is so cool. I'd loveee to learn that kind of stuff.

Feb 10 2007, 01:50 AM
Charms, lots of useful little things to learn that could be ever so useful every day. Magical Creatures was a close second, that would be incredible to learn!

Other - Defence Against the Dark Arts. I would find that really interesting to study DADA. Probably only if it was practical work though, not if Umbridge was teaching it.
