I want to join! I think their friendship is the jewel of the whole series, and I've envied that so many times... You can find a friendship like that in a million ... of years. To have friends that decided to go with you through death is priceless. Harry never had anything, he lost everything in his life, you would have thought he could have developed a criminal, a heartless person wandering through life, and even being at Hogwarts, since death pursued him from the start, but even so, love never left him. And to have Ron and Hermione by his side... I think that was one of the reasons that kept the flame of love burning inside of him. They both had a family, perhaps not the family they wanted, like any teenager, but their families are everything for them, they don't know what it means not to have anybody to care of you when you're sick, when you need an advice, a hug, a goodnight kiss, and they left him to help Harry, risked everything what mattered to them. They also, and in part, risked their love, because if they died, there wouldn't be a second chance. It wasn't easy. They knew they would have to face death every moment, and they went, despite all the things that happened later. Ron came back, and not only that, but he actually never wanted to leave them, because otherwise, he wouldn't have spent that time at Bill's, but at his own home. Hermione stayed, when she could have made up a lot of excuses to leave or to never go and harry would have understand that. But they remained. I think that's simply... awesome, unbelievable.
Is this thread a ... bit left? Because I wanted to join! We'd need some questions. Ellen, lazy president, come here! (

Sorry dear, I didn't mean to shout)
