My favorite is Sugar. I wonder why? whistling.gif

I just loved that water slide in tonight's episode. I was watching that thinking how much fun that would be sliding down it.

QUOTE(Just the Droobles)
That GC dude...stupid. Being leader and then stepping down? Way to be a quitter.

That was a stupid move. I think it made him look very weak. He will not be around very long.

Hello Survivor Fans! My family and I always watch and make a big event of it. I am really enjoying Survivor Gabon and really happy that it is on tonight!

That one team (really specific, but if you watch, you know what I mean) is really crashing down. I don't think they will ever get it together. But if I know the game, some behind the scenes people are plotting ways to switch the teams up right now.

Just the Droobles, I agree with everything you said about the characters. That's pretty much my take on them as well. Bob is cool, Gillian is interesting, GC is dumb, Charlie and Marcus are really clever, and Randy is negative.

I was really surprised that Michelle(I think that's her name) got voted out first. But then I saw her being really crabby at Tribal council. Then I was on their side.

Insomnia, I said the exact same thing. Medical on the first night. Talk about records!

On the first challenge I was really disappointed. The woman who is supposedly an Olympic gold medalist was one of the last up the hill. Her excuse was that her shoes were 20 pounds. They were running shoes! Those are maybe the best shoes you can bring. (Compared to high heels, that is)

About time someone else posted in here. . . *coughAubreycough* rolleyes.gif laugh.gif

Yes, I like Sugar as well. She seems really sweet and all. And she got the Idol over the lawyer! HA HA! That's priceless. I really hope she goes far in the game, but I'm not too sure about her alliance choice-Ace. He bugs me. If she looses him, I think she's got a real chance.

Oh, yes. That Olympic gold medalist last up the hill and blames the problem on her shoes? *shakes head* Pur-lease. Good thing she didn't real that up front (to the other Survivor's)before chosing tribes or she'd look the real fool.

That slide did look fun, but it didn't seem fast enough. Needed some baby oil or something to speed things up. biggrin.gif
Just the Droobles
I've been posting all along...it's just been invisible...or...you know.... shutup.gif

Anyhoo, I'm glad Sugar found the Idol. I do like her. The only problem I have is that I'm afraid that she's going to be completely overshadowed by Ace and people are going to think she's not going to make her own decisions. I really hate it when players have an alliance with someone and therefore don't make their own strategic moves. I want her to be able to play her own separate game from Ace.

Paloma. I'm glad she's gone. She's just...ugh. She annoyed me.

QUOTE(BRoyals)

In fact, did anyone see the previews for next week? I think they've definitely got something up their sleeve for a tribe switcharoo. They're ranking the team members. blink.gif Very odd.
nevillesgirl
Hmmm, very interesting with the new teams and still Fang loses! rolleyes.gif

I like Sugar. I think that Ace is an arrogant dirt bag and is totally using Sugar. She is going to be a casualty I am afraid. If she is even considering giving the idol to him, like I saw in the preview last night...that would be a huge mistake.

GC totally irked me and I am glad he is gone. He really is a quitter and that is obvious from everything he ever did in any of these challenges.

Did you see that girl's face on Koda when she realized they voted off Jackie? Honestly, I think her plan was to get to the merge with her original team/alliances in tact and then just pick off the people who switched from Fang to Coda. I don't think she is really embracing the new Koda members. Dan on the other hand is drawing too much attention to himself by being so welcoming of the new members and so vocal about it. When I said to find his voice, I didn't mean to make people suspicious of his motives.

Bob is awesome! He is strong mentally and not to shabby physically. He holds his own. As long as Koda keeps winning immunity, he should be okay. Actually, once they merge, he should still be okay, because he is kind of flying under the radar. There are so many other people who are being so assertive and making others mad and Bob just gets along with everyone.
Insomnia
Yes, I'm totally glad that GC is gone. He just has such a bad attitude about everything. And every challenge that requires actual work, you can find him sitting, doing nothing after the first few minutes. That tribe is much better off without him.

That other guy, can't remember his name, he's the one that had the stitches the first night, I still don't like him one bit so I'll be glad when he goes, too.

Yep, I still like Sugar. She really seems to have a good heart. I think it's awesome that they keep sending her back to Excile because she gets to enjoy the luxury there with food and everything else. She's got it way better there than at camp. I think it's crummy that they went through her bag, though, but that's part of the game I guess.
gaburdette
That was pretty stupid of her to leave the Idol unguarded. She had no strong ties with anyone in the tribe so her only strength was her secret of the Idol. Now that is gone. She is still the only person I like this season.

I am so glad to see GC gone. Has he never watched the show? What did he expect? I hate when we see people quitting because it is too hard. That should have come as a suprise only to the members of season one. From that point on it has been pretty clear what the Survivor members go through. Why even apply and go through the process just to quit at the beginning? I wish CBS would do a better job weeding out these losers before we get stuck watching them. At least GC is gone now and we are done watching him.
Just the Droobles
Ugh. GC. I wish they would have had the chance to vote him out without him saying he wanted to. I just really wanted the satisfaction to see him booted out cause he sucks. What a quitter. dry.gif

I don't like Sugar. I think she's not too bright actually. Yeah, she found the Idol, but she was dumb enough to tell Ace and dumb enough not to hide her bag or the Idol. She's not playing the game in my opinion, and I honestly can't wait till they vote her out. Though she probably does have it the best on the island because she gets fruit and stuff, and since she's away from everyone so often, they all get at each other's throats while she can sit back and watch.

Oh and she's also stupid because she might give that Idol to Ace. Yes. Give someone else the power. Good thinking. rolleyes.gif

Laura, you're talking about Randy. I wouldn't mind seeing him go. I get a vibe that he's pretty arrogant.

Except for Dan, I think everyone's intention on Koda was to stick with the original tribe. It makes sense to bring in the people from Fang because they all hate each other and have no bonds, but I don't understand why he was vocalizing it like he was. He just needs to wait until the merge.

I'm not sure if I even have a favorite right now. I like Charlie and that guy he's attached to. I can never remember his name. But I do like the two of them. smile.gif
nevillesgirl
I can't believe Sugar gave the immunity idol to Ace!!! Has she not ever watched any other season when they either didn't play the idol and got blindsighted or someone gave up individual immunity and got voted off? Hello? I'm glad she got it back but all that does now is make Ace suspicious of her. I seriously thought they would get rid of Ace last night. I know that they are trying to win a few challenges before going to the merge, but if they go to the merge with Ace and Sugar, they can't be sure of the original loyalties of them as Koda players.

Next week should be interesting with both tribes voting off a player. Who do you think will be going for Koda? I know that Dan has been irritating people all of the place. If they are that close to the merge, it wouldn't matter to get rid of weaker players like Susie or Robert because they will end up not lasting once everyone is fighting for individual immunity. I think they should consider getting rid of someone strong...someone who has the potential to win individual immunity and get to the final three.
BRoyals
These last few episodes have been pretty interesting. I thought they were kind of dumb canoeing over to see an elephant. That's how people get hurt, after all.

Yay! All the annoying people are gone! Well, not all of them, but a bunch of people I didn't like have been voted out.

QUOTE
Ugh. GC. I wish they would have had the chance to vote him out without him saying he wanted to. I just really wanted the satisfaction to see him booted out cause he sucks. What a quitter.

My thoughts exactly.

Why do they keep sending Suger to Exile? She's the only one who is eating from her tribe.I was thinking that it would be a good twist if there was another idol that she could be looking for instead of getting all that comfort. Just my thoughts. I can't belive she gave Ace the idol. That was kind of a strange move. That's how people get voted out. Why did she give it up? Has she never watched the show?

Bob is my favorite player so far. He's sort of like the Yau-Man of this season. He's an unlikely player, but he's really smart and physical. He pretty old, but he still does amazing things. He was one of the people who managed to carry the snake during that challenge.

The next episode looks really interesting. I t was a great preview. I was honestly confused though. It was pretty much we're going to vote out this person, then this person will be gone, let's vote out him, I was going to vote out you. laugh.gif

Is this wrong on me? While my wife was saying how cute that baby elephant was, I was thinking uummmm....elephant steaks for dinner tonight on the tribal fire. Hungry tribe + easy prey equals a full belly tonight. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(nevillesgirl)
I can't believe Sugar gave the immunity idol to Ace!!!

I know pin up models are not known for their intelligence but that was bad even for Sugar. You have one friend in the Tribe and you give away the Idol. I am shocked she did not go home this week. At least she recovered her senses and got the Idol back.

QUOTE(BRoyals)
Why do they keep sending Suger to Exile?

I guess they think it is funny. She only has Ace as a friend so it is not hurting her alliances any. All they are doing is giving her plenty of food making her compete better. If she gets near the end, having all these early days with plenty of food could be a big advantage for her.
Sister to the Dark Lord
I love Survivor! It's one the bestest reality shows ever.

I think that they keep sending Sugar to Exile because they think that the Idol is still out there, unfound. Sugar is a pin-up model, and they expect her to just give up if she can't find the Idol in about five seconds. Bit silly really. Anyway, my favorite part of Survivor right now is the Sugar Shack. Crazy, I know, but I like details like that.

My favorite player is Crystal. She seems like a strong person who knows what she's doing.
Just the Droobles
I am sooo glad Kelly is gone. She was such an annoying person. And she was weak. I felt like she was a female version of GC, and she just plain bugged me.

I have a feeling they keep sending Sugar to Exile cause they have no idea that there's fruit and a hammock and comfort and such. It doesn't really matter though cause it's probably better to keep one person fed than to slowly feed the entire tribe. Also, even though Sugar had enough brains to find the Idol, she's too stupid to use it to her advantage. So it doesn't really matter that she has it. It took her this long to admit that Ace was a snake, but she's also not smart enough to make plays of her own. I really have no faith in her to be a good player.

I'm jealous of the elephant experience. I would have loved to be able to see that up close. biggrin.gif

I do like Crystal. I think she's just gotten placed in an unfortunate situation and she can't really show her full potential. I also liked it when she OWNED Kelly. HA.
Bob is also a good player. He's laying low right now, but I do like him.

Next week's episode just looks ridiculous. I think every person's name was said in the preview. laugh.gif
nevillesgirl
Yea! Ace the snake is outta there! Thought that was incredibly funny of him...'thanks Sugar' was all he had to say. His own fault for thinking she was just a dumb blonde pin up model.

I thought Dan was a good choice for Koda to get rid of. He was a strong player. The only thing I would have done differently is consider that they are all playing for individual immunity now, they may have wanted to get rid of either Charlie or Corine...my reason is that they wouldn't have to worry about offending them and trying to get their vote as they wouldn't be on the jury. It was the perfect time to try and weed out the strong players without retribution.

Matty is in such trouble. He got in bed with Ace the snake and now he is on his own. He has shown his true colors by siding against members of his original tribe (Crystal and Kenny) and now they could outvote him if they can convince sugar and susie to side with them at the merge. If Matty was smart, he would side with them because sugar has the idol and even if someone from the Koda alliance wins immunity everytime, they could pick them off one by one until it is just the weaker players left running this game.

What does everyone think about Randy? He is such an opportunist. He is going to play both sides isn't he?
Insomnia
YES! I love Sugar even more now. biggrin.gif I'm so glad she was able to see sense and help vote Ace out. Best move by her so far. And I think it's awesome she keeps getting sent back to Excile. All that food and comfort. I'm sure she gets lonely at times, but at least she isn't starving.

Randy. . . I still don't like him, at all. He urks me to no end. He has the worst attitude. Definitely a snake in the grass, too. They'd be smart to vote him out.

Yes, Matty might be in some trouble, but they'd be crazy to vote him out next if they have any hopes of winning a challenge before merging. I think Crystal needs to go next. She really doesn't seem to be very strong of a player at all. She seems to wear out and give up before a challenge is done. Not a good thing in a competition. Of course, Sugar isn't the best at competitions, either, but her personality is so much better than Crystal's.
BRoyals
Sugar is definitely rising in my books after that. biggrin.gif I am not quite sure about this, but I would say that she is one of the stronger people on that tribe. She is the only one who has been eating and having some time alone. She showed that she actually thinks for herself and doesn't just depend on Ace.

Speaking of Ace, I'm glad he's gone. He annoyed me. I actually don't care for anyone on the Fang tribe- and we don't know too much about the Kota tribe either! unsure.gif I think they merge in the next episode. That should be good.

I don't care for Randy either. He has an annoying attitude that drives me crazy. I think he will surely play all the sides he can.

Sometimes I don't think any of those people have ever watched the show before. Like the pacts they make, that will eventually be broken, and the alliances that crumble.
Just the Droobles
I really don't understand why everyone thinks Ace is a snake. All he did was sit and watch people yell at each other and make fools of themselves. The Fang tribe destroyed themselves and they would have voted each other off even if he hadn't been on that team. He never lied or went back on his word. So I honestly don't see why Ace is such a snake unless there's some unseen footage that I missed.

Props to Sugar for being able to make up her own mind but she's still stupid. Technically it wasn't even her idea to get rid of Ace, so she's not making moves for herself. She's just agreeing with others. And I think it was highly distasteful of her to write Ace-hole on her parchment. I mean, really. She's useless. Kenny and Crystal are going to be loyal to each other, not to her, and Matty is definitely not going to side with her. Once they merge next week, she's going to be an immediate target, and it's going to be easy to purge the Idol because she's useless in challenges. Koda won't accept her back in. Tribes never usually do that.

Randy. He's just an a$$. Simply put. That's really all I can say about him. Sorry! shutup.gif
nevillesgirl
Merge...what Merge!

Yet another twist and things don't look good for a few people. I think Sugar is actually really vulnerable right now. Too many people know she has the idol and because they didn't merge she isn't really safe. They could try and flush the idol out and then she would be one of the first ones gone. She is terrible at challenges. I can't believe she actually felt bad about getting rid of Ace. At some point, the physically strong players need to go if the weaker ones are to stand a chance.

The thing I really didn't like about Ace was that although he sat back and watched Fang crumble, he was already manipulating and being cocky even before that first split. I really didn't like the way he thought he was all invincable. Randy is making the same mistake now and if Kenny isn't careful, he could fall into that trap as well.

The person I feel sorry for is Bob. He is now in a tribe of weaklings. I don't mean to be rude but, Susie, Kenny and Crystal are weak players. They don't win challenges. Bob has a real shot of winning this game because he is pulling his weight in the challeges and most importantly he hasn't backstabbed or bad mouthed anyone. Unfortunately, if his tribe doesn't win challenges, he will most likely be next to go. A merge at this point would suite everyone best I think. A merge at this point may start forcing the other players into the reality that they have to play this game for themselves and not always trust there alliances.

Did you see Corine's face when she realized her strongest ally was gone?
Sister to the Dark Lord
nevillesgirl, I agree! Sugar is in a very bad position and I'm so glad that Ace is gone!
* biggrin.gif does happy dance biggrin.gif *

And I don't think Ace was a snake, I mean, that's an insult to snakes everywhere. I never really liked Randy from the beginning, and now that he's "King of Gabon" (his words, not mine), he is readying his grave and painting a red-and-white target circle on his back.

The remixing of the Tribes was a bit of a disappointment to me; I've waited long enough! Personally, I always prefered the individual (spelling?) challanges.

At least Kenny isn't gone
Insomnia
I was shocked to see Marcus go home. I thought he was a really nice guy. And when he decided against voting Crystal out because she was the cousin of his best friend, I thought that was pretty decent of him. Too bad Crystal then went and stabbed him in the back. But Marcus should have known better than to suggest getting rid of Crystal's only alliance at that tribe right off the bat. He should have gone ahead and moved to vote off Susie; he knew she was a loose cannon. Oh well. Hind sight is 20/20.

Yes, poor Bob. I really feel sorry for the guy, especially since I think he is one of the few who deserves to win in my opinion. If the tribes don't merge before another individual tribe tribal council, there's no doubt his tribe will be there because of all the weak players. He'll end up getting voted off because he's the "outsider" now. Well, unless he can convince Crystal and Kenny that he's the smarter choice to keep around if they want to have a chance at winning challenges. Susie certainly isn't going to win them anything. I hope Bob doesn't leave next week. sad.gif
Just the Droobles
I told you Sugar was stupid. She got rid of her only alliance merely because they told her Ace was gunning for her, and she believed them. You're supposed to keep your main alliance as close as possible and be able to talk to them. Ace knew how valuable Sugar was, and it was obvious to him that she couldn't beat him in the end. So she would have been great to take to the end. But she's stupid, and now she's alone. Matty's gonna side with whoever gives him the best deal. And Kenny and Crystal still and always will have their own agenda regardless of what the tribes are. Good job Sugar. Good job.

I'm afraid that the only chance Bob has got is either a merge or they win the next Immunity Challenge (and that's a laugh in itself). Even though Kenny and Crystal have pulled Susie over, they aren't going to get rid of her over Bob because they know Bob is loyal to Koda. Susie is a dangerous person to be in an alliance with, as exhibited with Marcus, but they aren't going to forfeit having numbers.

Marcus. If only his brains matched the awesomeness of his body. happy.gif If he would have just gotten rid of Susie first, there would be no problem. He was a schemer, but he schemed with the wrong people to get the wrong people out.
BRoyals
I honestly felt like I was the one blindsided last night. I didn't really think Susie would be smart enough to switch. I thought Marcus was a good player and would have rather seen him stay longer. I do like a good surprise in the game though, and last night sure delivered!

Throwing the immunity idol into the ocean was interesting. Having everyone know about it was neat to watch. No one wanted to step up and admit thatthey wanted it, so they threw it away. Though I don't really approve of throwing something so valuable away, that was a good strategy.

Now I am really worried for Bob. They either need to win immunity (laughable, like you guys said) or merge. I think that having a merge now would be mixed up enough for the producers and beneficial for the players. They seem like they aren't working together, so why not just merge now? And the jury has started too.

QUOTE(Just the Droobles)
I told you Sugar was stupid.

Does that really matter? She's a pin up model. I think she has made the show interesting for a change. This is the first season in years I have been waiting for Thursday night each week.

For those that like Crystal or think she is a strong player, are we watching the same show? She has got to be the weakest Olympic athlete I have ever seen. At this point I think Sugar is a stronger competitor than Crystal and she is only on the show for her visual affect. I will be so glad when Crystal gets her butt voted off. How long did she last holding up those poles, three seconds? Did she complete in the Special Olympics? How can an "Olympian" be so poor at physical challenges? She has a pi$$ poor attitude so I can not even stand to watch her scheme.

Just the Droobles
QUOTE
Does that really matter? She's a pin up model.
What does that have to do with anything? The point of Survivor is to be smart and Outwit Outplay Outlast. If Sugar is stupid, she's not going to win. Not saying that a less-than-smart person has never won, but I don't want her to win simply because I don't think she deserves it.

Crystal. I don't think she's really gotten a chance to show her strength. Anyone is going to do poorly when they haven't eaten anything and live in terrible conditions with a bunch of negative people. She's not used to losing, so she is a sore loser. I guess we'll see since the tables have turned in favor of her and Kenny.
Insomnia

Crystal. I don't think she's really gotten a chance to show her strength. Anyone is going to do poorly when they haven't eaten anything and live in terrible conditions with a bunch of negative people.

I can't say that I agree with you here. On their very first day, when they formed into the first two tribes and raced for the individual immunity idols, Crystal was last or second to last with the oldest woman there. You'd think, for a Gold medal Olympic winner, she'd be near the front of the pack, not bringing up the rear. She might have been strong in her younger years, but she's lost that since then, at least in my opinion. That first day when they raced, they were well fed and well rested so she had no excuses for her falling behind other than being weak.
ravensblood
Crystal doesn't strike me as someone that should be in the back of the pack or drop out of holding the poles so quickly. She was an athlete and you don't just loose your fight to be number one simply because you aren't competitive in your sport anymore. I don't know what her deal is but Kenny is a stronger player than her. She bugs me and I would like to see her go home or start putting out a lot more effort and winning challenges.
Kenny is playing a very smart game, but I really thought he was going to be gone by now. You go Kenny! As far as Sugar goes, she needs to be worried about Matty trying to get her to give him the idol just like Ace. Matty will stab her in the back in a heart beat. He is still upset that she voted against Ace. Matty might be gone this week if they loose.
Just the Droobles
Ah I forgot about that Crystal thing in the beginning. I definitely was thinking WTF!??! I guess everyone loses it a bit as they get older, but she still looks like someone who should be doing much better than how she's doing now. Perhaps she's simply not driven enough.

Kenny is in a great position. I don't really think he has the ability to win challenges, physically or mentally--well, maybe mentally, but he's smart enough to be able to manipulate Sugar. So that gives him points. Being a sneaky snake can get him in trouble though. I like Kenny though. smile.gif
UnknownLocket
I've started watching Survivor again! I missed the first few epsidoes but I've watched the last two. I don't know enough to have much of an opinion but I will say this: doesn't Matty look a little like young Leornardo? Haha, it's just something I've noticed and yes, Crystal is pretty weak for someone who was an olympian. But I hope to bring in more insight as I start watching the show more often. That's all for now.
Insomnia
Have you all watched the behind-the-scenes videos from after a person is voted off and sent to the "jury house"-Ponderosa? They're pretty neat. It shows where they're taken, what they do, the steps to reintroduce them back to society, etc. Right now, we have two jury members so there are videos for each of them. You can find them here. I've found myself looking forward to these as much as the actual episodes. biggrin.gif
Insomnia
Oh man. Last night's show was PRICELESS! I laughed myself silly when I realized Sugar was going to get Bob to give the fake idol to Randy, and then he did! laugh.gif What was even better was when that smirk of Randy's was wiped clean off his face as he discovered the idol was fake. That was great. I was laughing right along with Sugar and the rest of them.

You know, I realize that was a mean thing to do and that Randy was just completely embarrassed on national TV, but I just don't like him. From the way he's acted, I think he deserved it. I'm not normally a spiteful person, but . . . rolleyes.gif

Well, Bob and Sugar are still my two favorite people left on the show. I hope one or both make it to the end.

Off to watch Randy's entrance into Ponderosa!
BRoyals
I agree- the looks on their faces were priceless! Corrine and Randy looking smug; the one alliance looking smug, then worried and Sugar laughing her head off. That was a great and hilarious play and I was laughing at everything.

I have been watching Ponderosa as well and it is really neat to see them 'after the game'. I forgot that Randy was friends with the other jury members. I thought they would be annoyed by his attitude at Ponderosa.

The auction is one of my favorite things. The cookie thing was a little immature, but I guess 30 days without cookies makes everyone irritable. Susie was silly, spending all of her money on a bath, then not staying in for very long. And the people who don't bid at all are just silly as well. Have they never seen the show?

There can't be very many episodes left- only seven survivors. Makes me wonder what they are going to do for the final.

-Kel

Sugar has been my favorite from the beginning and after last night, nothing has changed. That tribal council has got to be one of the greatest ever. Randy was a real pain in the butt and that fake idol had me rolling with laughter. Him being so immature at the auction just made it that much better. I was kind of neutral on Bob but after last night, he has moved up a few notches. I hope they reward him for it and give him a chance to stick around till the end. That tribal council ranked right up there with Sue at the final tribal council in Season One and Micheal falling in the fire in Season Two.

QUOTE(BRoyals)

What was with that. Why pay all that money and get right back out of the water? What a waste.

Did anyone else wonder why the Jury was laughing so hard during the Tribal Council? Makes me wonder if the production staff tipped them off to what was going down at Tribal Council. If they did that, I wonder what else they are tipping the Survivors off too?

Why did Bob choose the clue over comfort? After last week, I would have thought he would have given up on the Idol and would have enjoyed the time alone.

I know! Even Jeff was looking at her like she lost her mind. If that had been me, I'd have stayed in until they threatened to drag me out kicking and screaming. Well, at least she was smart enough to wear her nasty clothes to the immunity challenge saving her clean clothes for around camp and tribal council.
Just the Droobles
Oh, the joys I experience from watching Survivor. My family and I were hoping so bad that Bob would do something like that, and I appreciate Sugar a lot more after this episode. She's not my favorite, but I feel like they kind of showed her in a different light. Oh the power of editing.

I think Randy got what he deserved. He went around camp and insulted everyone or at least p!ssed them off and at that point he wasn't even sure Bob had the Idol. Are they really that stupid to believe that after Sugar went out there like...7 times that she didn't have the Idol? You have got to be kidding me! I'm not surprised that he fell for it because Bob was really crafty. But still. Randy is a jerk and karma's a b......

I do feel bad for Bob though. He was not laughing. I do find it interesting though that he still voted for Susie. Maybe he was just trying to fool them or stay in their good graces?

The cookie thing= stupid. Randy was just proving his immaturity again. And Susie not staying in that bath?? She's CRAZY. Sugar got the best item though. The chocolate and peanut butter. Mmmmmmm Either that or the spaghetti is what I would have wanted.

I'm not sure why the jury was laughing. I would have found it amusing. But you have to remember that while Marcus and Charlie were on the show, they didn't like Randy and thought he was mean and annoying, but they needed him for numbers in their alliance. So I wouldn't be surprised if they were thinking that he got what he deserved as well.

How about the scenes from next time?? What the heck do you think Bob is trying to do??

Baahaawah shocking.gif
Almost a week later and I am still laughing at the amazement that swept across Corrine and Randy's face.

I really like Bob. I think he has a great chance of winning because he hasn't made any enemies until this past weekend. I know Randy will have a grudge against Bob because of the idol thing. He voted for Susie because he was part of the original alliance and he felt that Susies betrayal shifted the entire game. He is also seeing her as someone who has already won individual immunity and has now become a threat in the game. Kenny also has a huge target on his back.

Did anyone see the previews? What was Bob talking to Corrine about that Marcus didn't actually throw the idol out to sea, but kept it and hid it around camp, leaving a map to find it? I thought I saw the idol in the bottle floating around in the ocean after they threw it out. Do you think he is trying to con Corrine?
BRoyals
I think in the preview Bob was trying to explain abou tthe fake idol. Which doesn't make sense because he could just say he found the fake one at Exile. It is a bit confusing, so I'm not sure. He could be trying to trick Corrine, but he doesn't really seem like the type. After last weeks brilliant play he might, though. unsure.gif

Fans vs. Favorites was on TV all day yesterday. It was like a Survivor marathon that went on past midnight. Needless to say, I didn't watch the whole time. I did tape the last five episodes. It was one of my favorite seasons.

I met Yau-Man last week! He was speaking at a conference that my Dad went to, and the rest of my family dragged along. He was really nice and we got to take a picture with him, and he signed autographs for us. It was really neat and my sister and I were kind of starstruck. offtopic.gif

I do think it's smart of Bob to try to explain away what he did cause I don't think that Randy and Corinne really have any proof that Bob tricked them. For all they know, he thought that was a real Idol as well.

The problem with telling Corrinne that the Idol he gave them was the one from the bottle is that the producers or whoever gives the clues wouldn't have put a non-idol in that bottle for the Survivors to find. Even if he had found it on Exile Island, the people in charge would not have hidden an Idol that wasn't real. And if Corinne is smart she'll recognize that.

I think the target on Kenny's back has gone down because now the focus is on other people. Once they get the other people out of the way, yeah, Kenny will be the person to beat.

Survivor was great last night! I haven't whatched much of this season but I'm really liking the shows, especially Tribal Councils. I'm so glad Corinne left, I never really liked her but it's sad now because Bob doesn't seem to have any alies left and I've been rooting for him. It was very smart for Kenny and Crystal to split up the votes like that, I really didn't know which way the votes were going to go. I also don't know what Bob is going to do now but hopefully he can make it past the next couple weeks and make it to the final 3. If he does, I think he will have a really good chance of winning.
Just the Droobles
BAHAHAHAHA! I laugh in Corinne's face.

Actually, as smart as Kenny and Crystal seemed to be about that vote, Kenny was not smart. He did not have to cast that vote against Matty at all. The way it would have worked is that the big alliance could still have all voted for Corinne. If Corinne's Idol was real, Bob and Corinne's votes would have taken care of Matty by themselves. Kenny committed Survivor suicide by flipping, and judging by the scenes from next time, he's gonna be in big trouble. I think they should have thought it through a little more.

Congrats to Matty. happy.gif

I agree. There was absolutely no reason for Kenny to vote Matty. If the Idol was real, Matty would have gone home. He messed up his own game by doing that.

However, if Bob and Corrine were smart, they should have just been honest and tried to form an alliance with them without the front of having an idol. Both Kenny and Crystal seemed more than willing to get rid of Matty. Their reason for splitting their vote was to flush the Idol. If Bob hadn't pretended he had one, their plan just might have worked. Oh well, hind sight is 20/20. wink.gif

I'm curious to see what happens next week now that Kenny shot himself in the foot. Perhaps Bob might survive another week? I hope so. *fingers crossed*

Oh my goodness! This recent episode was absolutely PRICELESS! This season just keeps getting better and better.

I have to say, my favorite line was at tribal council when Sugar handed Matty the Idol and asked him to get the cursed thing out of there laugh.gif It was great.

And I'm so happy that Crystal is finally out of the game. YAY! She has way too much of a negative attitude. I just hope Kenny is next. Actually, season finale is tomorrow. Whoo hoo! I hope either Sugar, Matty, or Bob wins. *fingers crossed*

Yay! Bob won! I've been rooting for him since I started watching the season but Susie, wow, I can't believe she actually gave Bob a run for his money. I didn't think anyone would have voted for her, except for maybe one person (Matty). But three votes? Wow, that's more than I expected. I thought Bob had it in the bag before going to the last tribal council but after hearing Susie's name called twice, I thought hmm, maybe the coat-tailer could win this.

This is one of my favorite seasons of Survivor..... great fake idols and blind-sides. You never really knew who exactly would leave until the votes were revealed. But I'm just happy that Bob got the million and I'm super excited that he was voted America's favorite player too although I sort of feel like they should have given it to someone else.
Just the Droobles
Corinne=b!tch. I have to say it. That was the lowest comment I have ever heard. I think I'll kick her in the throat if I see her.

Anyhoooo...I'm glad Bob won. I almost wish it would have been Kenny though cause like Bob said, he didn't make any moves for himself. So we did need Susie to be the coattail-rider because Bob rode coattails the whole time! I know it was in his best interest cause he wasn't in the position to be calling shots, but he really did just let Sugar dictate everything he did. I think Sugar deserved a few votes, but obviously the jury is harbouring some ill feelings toward her.

I don't understand what everyone likes about Matty. I think he's whiny. I really just don't like him at all. He doesn't seem to know very much, he made no powerful moves in the game, and he just did nothing. I would have never given him my vote.

I like Crystal. I think she learned a valuable lesson about how she talks to people, and I really do think she's nicer than she was portrayed. I dunno. I just like her.

Oh well. I expected Bob to win but after watching the finale I almost wish he didn't and Kenny did. Bob just seemed so unworthy when it comes to gameplay. He didn't play the game. And he got really bitter when he lost the house of cards challenge. (Susie was talking everyone's ears off, but I think Bob was just used to winning.) Anyway. I definitely think that as interesting as this season was, there weren't a lot of people that played the game well besides Kenny. But like he said, his downfall was that he got cocky. =\

Congrats to Bob anyway. smile.gif

I can't believe Corrine said that comment about Sugar's father. I always knew she was nasty but that is just really evil. The thing that got me was that she wasn't even apologetic. She kept saying that was who she was and nice was boring and not a personality trait. I am so glad they got rid of her.

I am so glad that Bob won. He was definitly my favorite, next to Sugar. I was hoping that some of the players would see how well Sugar played the game and give her some votes. She certainly outwitted and outlasted the so called brilliant players. Everyone thought she was the stupid little blonde model who was so weak she wouldn't last a week but she proved to all of them that she could do it. To be honest, she really masterminded most of the blindsights this season and still no one voted for her. In hind sight, they should have flushed that idol from her in the beginning. I kind of hoped she would have won the people's choice for the $100 thousand dollars.

Can you believe when Jeff said that Randy was one of the favorites even though he was just as nasty as Corrine?

*sigh* withdrawls until next season.

Corinne is Nasty with a capital N. She said a truckload of horrible things to - well, everyone. The thing about Sugar was the worst though. She didn't show any remorse, which might be one of the things that annoyed me the most. And at the reunion, she said that was how she was and she liked being booed. blink.gif

Randy was evil as well, though I can't figure out how he was more likeable than Corinne. He was a bit nicer to people at the reunion show though. By that much though. dry.gif

I am so glad Bob won! He was one of my favorites since the beginning of the season. I am surprised that Susie got so many votes, and Sugar got none. Sugar surprised mem at the final tribal. She was so nonchalant and not caring what happened. Still, three cheers for Bob! It has been a long time since someone I really liked won. Speaking of winning, Bob won the Player of the Season cash award as well as the million. Is he allowed to win both? He seems really lucky! laugh.gif

The final immunity challenge surprised me. Isn't it supposed to be an endurance challenge? Come to think of it, I don't remember there being any endurance challenges this season. What is wrong with the producers? Did they finally realize how painful it is to stand for hours in one position? unsure.gif

I don't know how I am going to last until the next season. Especially since this season has been so exciting, what with the idols, great challenges and blindsides. Looks like a neat location for the next one. But then, I say that for every preview. laugh.gif

There was one endurance challenge that I remember when the tribes were still together. It was the one where they had to hold the poles on the tops of their hands and Bob and Matty were the last ones in. Matty won it for Fang, but that is the only specific one I can remember. Other than that, yeah, they were pretty much all physical plus a puzzle at the end.

I think that was the most bitter jury I've seen in my many years of watching Survivor. Not one of them got up and said "congrats on getting this far, I think you played a great game." Course, pretty much all of them were blind-sided, so I can understand being bitter but come on...they were outplayed and I really don't think any of them understood that it was a game and they were just upset cause they got duped....

Survivor has started up again! It seems sooner than usual. Most times you have to wait months for a new season. Now it has just been one. Not that I'm complaining wink.gif

This is already my favorite season ever. Nice location, interesting people and a huge twist right off the bat. Five minutes into the game someone gets voted out. Can it get more mixed up than that? That has to be one of the best things they can throw at the Survivors. Two people get a helicopter ride and the rest get to hike through scorching temperatures. I love it! biggrin.gif

I thought it hilarious that no one knew the names. Then again, I can't remember any of them! laugh.gif

The first challenge was so tricky. Puzzles and swimming and a lot of team work with people they don't really know. The preview for tonight looks interesting. Those are the best challenges, in my opion, when they go head to head. twisted.gif

I can't say I have a favorite yet; perhaps the kid who is the youngest contestant ever. (See? Told you I couldn't remember names) The one person I do remember is Coach, just because I don't like his attitude. shutup.gif

I agree with you Droobles, though I haven't watched very many. No one congratulated them, or was even nice blink.gif They have to remember that it is a game. You don't see much shouting during Monopoly, do you?

This will be the first season I am cheering on one player. Spencer is from my home town. He did pretty good last week and got quite a bit of screen time. He is just 19 years old and the youngest survivor ever.

I hate how they always gang up on the old person for the first vote. I can not remember her name but they voted her off in the beginning simply for being the oldest person. I can understand the other tribe voting off the girl who was sick. I do not recall any old person in the past that has been a drain on the tribe. They usually have their act together and have a lot to contribute to the tribe. So why do they always get targeted in that first vote?
Just the Droobles
Oh my gosh...this season...I have never seen so many individuals on Survivor! Everyone is out for themselves! This could get so messy. I love it.

Ok...Sandy, the older woman, she's from Kentucky. I would root for her, but she seems a little kooky. I mean...you never know about those Louisville people... She's nice though. Makes me laugh. I mainly hope she goes far because they tried to vote her out and thought she was weak. There are some old people that can work it!

Sierra, the other girl who got booted right from the start, I was rooting for her simply because she had my birthday. happy.gif I can understand getting rid of her because she's sick, but after she gets better, why would they still gun for her!?!? She's really proven herself around camp and in the challenges and now I just think everyone is trying to pick off someone easy instead of playing the game. Which is annoying.

I do not like Coach. No no no no no no no no!!! I can't stand him. I hope now that he has put it out in the open that he thinks he's awesome and he wants to be the tribe leader, that they vote him off. Being the leader of the tribe is like writing your own name down at tribal council.

I really like Taj and Brendan. I hope they can weasel something really awesome out of all their visits to Exile island!

That is exactly what I thought. The only real alliance is Taj and Brendan and they are on separate tribes. I am rooting for them because of that, plus the fact that they are nice people. I don't think it was so smart of them to both go back to exile sand dune though. He could have at least thought about it for a bit, instead of blurting out.

I also like JT. He seems like a genuine person, and while he plays the game, he does it in a nice way, and not pushy or bossy.

Coach on the other hand... don't even get me started. Annoying! At least he got burned at tribal council. Candace, I think her name is, got in quite a few zingers that hurt his pride. I was smiling so widely then. He really needs to put a damper on his ego. And while I feel sorry for Jerry being sick and voted out, I am glad it happened because it showed Coach that they don't do everything his way all the time.

The challenge with the corn and water was hilarious, but quite a good one. Working together/maze/blindfolds...It was very amusing. They were covered in dried corn by the end, but it was interesting.

The challenge on episode 2 was funny as well. It didn't help me with figuring out who was who, but fun to watch. Taj was tackling everyone and Sierra got drowned and Sandy had a girl by the back of her bikini. You would think they would know better than to wear a skimpy thing like that. They are roughing it in the jungle, not entering a beauty contest!
