Hey, this is a fan fic of James and Lily, Have fun reading it!

Lily stalked down the Charms Corridor, thinking about her Potions homework. Her vibrant Red Hair, flowed against her back like the wave of an ocean. Her emerald green eyes shone brightly in the sun like a water in a glass. She paced more and more and cocked her eyebrows up and stopped walking. Lily heard a low whisper in the statue to her left.
"Why Hello, James. What are planning today? Throwing dungbombs at me to get my attention?" she asked rudely. Lily turned on her left foot and stared at the statue. Low and Behold, James Potter emerged from behind the concrete stone, followed by Sirius Black.

"Hello Lily, why don't you look nice today?" asked James politely. James looked at Sirius and gave a nervous look. Sirius nudged his arm and beckoned him to go on. "Lily, please go out with me?" he begged. James gave it some thought, then went down on his knees and grabbed her hand and pretended to cry into it. "Please! Oh, please Lily Evans! I can't live without you!" James peeked up to see if Lily bought any of it.

"Well, you seem to be fine right now." she said socially. "James, stop begging, you look like a.. a.. Loser! I will never go out with you until you prove yourself a well mannered gentleman. And Until you stop picking on Severus. What has he ever done to you?" she asked. Lily pulled her hand away from James and started walking down the corridor and disappeared around the corner.

"Well, that went well." said Sirius. It was quiet for a few moments, then he burst out into laughter and fell onto the floor, holding onto his stomach. James stared at him, bewildered. "Wow! That--that--THAT WAS AWSOME!" he shouted. Sirius was crying because of all that he had laughed.

"Shut up,man! I wouldn't do that to you if a girl turned you down!" James said angerly. Sirius stopped laughing completely and stared at James. "Thank you. Get your lazy **** up and let's go." James helped him get up and walked out of the corridor.

"Dude? Do you honestly like her that much? I mean you've wanted her since second year." Sirius complained.

"No, I don't like her. I love her, Sirius." he replied

"You Love her?!" he shrieked. Sirius grabbed James' arm and pulled him back. "Dude, you can't love her! She'll do you wrong!" he shouted once more. This time, people were opening their doors and staring at them.

"I don't care what you think, Sirius. I can like who ever the hell I want." James tore his arm away from him and stormed off into the other direction. He started to sprint and screamed at the top of his lungs,"LILY EVANS? WHERE ARE YOU?"

Lily heard her name being shouted from the corner of the Charms corridor. She turned around to see James Potter, standing there pointing at her. She backed away slowly as she watched him sprint down the hallway right at her. James stopped about three inches away from Lily and cupped the back of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss. Lily wasn't aware that he was kissing her, until she felt his tongue slide into her mouth. She squirmed and squealed and finally pushed away from him.

"POTTER?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" she shrieked at him. Lily wiped her mouth and started crying. She wiped her tears away and stared at him. "Why? Why James? Why would you do that? I mean you should at least wait until you actually find out if I like you or not!" She burst into sobs again and ran down the hallway.

"Lily? Lily! LILY!" James shouted at her. He ran after her down the hallway and caught up to her. He stopped in front of her. "Lily, I'm so sorry! I -- I didn't want it to happen that way! God, Now I feel like such an idiot."

Lily gave him a strange look. A look that looked like she didn't even know him. "So you think that if you just say sorry to me that I'll forgive you right away? God your stupid! Just leave me alone." Lily pushed him away once more and walked up the stairs to the Griffindor(sp?) Tower.

James stand there, shocked and appalled of what just happened. He heard footsteps running towards him and turned around to see Sirius, Peter and Remus right behind him.
"Not Cool Man." said Remus. He put his index finger up and started waving it.

James put up three fingers and said, "Read between the lines, Remus. Read between the LINES!" James then walked away from them, also heading back to the Tower. James wasn't in the mood to talk to his friends right now. Especially Remus. He would give him this huge lecture about girls and how to wait until he was older.

What does he know about girls any way? He's only gone out with one! He thought to himself. James got to the portrait hole and said the password. "Wattledoodle." The Fat Lady nodded her head and swung open for him to get in. Once he got in, many heads turned his way and gave him a dirty look. He looked in a corner and saw Lily with her friends. None of them had their heads turned to look at him. Thank god. Then I don't have to endure the yelling of them towards me. James walked up the stairs and went to a wall. He smacked his head on to the concrete wall.

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" he said as he hit his head on the wall some more. James turned around and leaned on the wall. He let out a frustrated sigh and walked into the boys dormitory. He fell onto his bed, and fell asleep instantly.


The next day, James awoke by Sirius jumping on his bed. He opened one eye and saw that Sirius had a wide smile upon his face.
"Why are you smiling like that?" he asked silently and slowly. He stopped jumping at once and then said out loud, "I'M GOING OUT WITH AMANDA!" As Sirius was yelling that, he waved his hands up in the air. James gave him a weird look, then let his head fall back onto his pillows.
"Fantastic for you dude. Just brilliant." James said shortly. "Get off of me, I want to get dressed." Sirius jumped off the bed then ran outside the door. He chuckled at him and got dressed. It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and there was frost on the windows. James put on his glasses and walked out of the dorm.

Hey, this is another post.. have fun!


As James was putting on his robes, the Girl's dorm door opened up and Lily came out of the door quietly. She met James' gaze and blushed. Lily walked down the stairs quickly and skipped the last few stairs. James watched her go down the stairs and followed after her. Then, he heard a door slam behind him and he then was stumbling down the stairs. One of Lily's friends had seen him go down the stairs, thinking that he was stalking Lily. They then jumped onto his back and made him fall down the stairs. Sirius looked over and saw James come sliding down the stairs. He held in a laugh, then he started to chuckle.

"Uhh, Dude? Should I say it like this? SAFE!" Sirius waved his hands in the motion of a umpire in Baseball telling someone that they're safe. Sirius laughed harder, and fell onto the couch nearest to the fire.
James pushed the girl off of him and looked at her. "What the Hell was that for?!" he asked rudely. James then waved his hands in front of his face. "You know what? Forget it. I already know what your going to say." He walked away angerly(sp?) and shoved people out of his way on the way out.

(( I'm sorry but I must go and finish homework. ))

James stormed down the hallway, fuming mad. He was sick and tired of hearing people bad mouth him, and tell him to stay away from Lily. Who are they to tell who I should and Like and not like? I mean it's my life and my mind. James turned a corner, and saw Wormtail and Moony.

"You guys wanna go to Hogsmeade(sp?)?" he asked quickly. James didn't even wait for an answer and grabbed their upper arms and pulled them out of the Entrance Hall Doors.

"Why are you upset, James?" asked Remus carefully. He studied James' look for a second then stared at him with wide eyes. "What did you say to Lily?" he asked. James slowly turned his head towards him.

"What makes you think that I said it to Lily? I mean I don't think I even talked to her today.." he said quietly. James messed up his hair some more and made a deep sigh. "Is something wrong with me, Moony? I mean do I have bad breath or something?" James sat down on the grass and layed(sp?) himself down on the grass. He put his hands behind his head, and stared at the sky. "Wait! I know! Lily told me that she would only go out with me if I became a proper gentleman, and if I stopped picking on Snivellus. That's what I got to do!" James leaped up and threw his hands up in the air with triumphant.

"You got to do what?" asked Peter, curiously. James pulled his hands down and stared at both of them.

" I got to go! I got to learn on how to be a proper gentleman!" he said and he ran off towards the Castle. Peter and Remus gave each other a nervous look and slapped their foreheads with their hands.

"Who's he going to ask? A Broom?" said Remus half-heartingly(sp?). He chuckled and wandered off towards Hagrid's Hut.

"Remus! Remus! Wait!" he shouted after him. And he set of for a run.

LATER!*

James was wandering around the castle, looking for a mentor. To teach him how to be a man. He then saw some other Year Sevener's walking around telling jokes to each other, and how they had big broad shoulder's and chests. James imitated them by pushing his chest up farther, and pulled his Shoulders back. His face started to turn purple because he couldn't breathe. He let out a huge breath of air and then around the corner, Lily Evans saw him imitating the other boys. He looked over and saw Lily giggling silently to herself. She caught his eye and waved sweetly. He smiled and walked towards her with confidence pumping inside of him. James got up to Lily, and quietly said, "Hi, Lily. Uhh I don't think you were supposed to see that." he said nervously.

Lily moved that strands of hair that were in his face away. "It's quite all right James. Would you care to go for a walk with me?" she asked, as she blushed. Oh no! Am I showing signs that I like James too? she thought to herself.

James looked down at Lily and answered simply yet sweet, "I would Love to Lily."

Sorry It's been so long! Here's a new post.


James and Lily walked down the corridor, laughing and having a cheerful time. It went all quiet for a few moments and James had enough time to stare at Lily. He loved how her hair shone in the light, even though there might not be any sun. He loved the colour of her eyes. And he especially loved her lips. Oh how he wanted to kiss them. Just by thinking that, James thought back to when he grabbed her and forced her to kiss him. He regretted that action. He wish he could take it back. Things would be so different.

"Lily? Do you like me?" asked James. Lily stared at him for a few moments, and gave him a weird look.

"In what way, James?" she replied. Lily started to get nervous and just imagined what would happen if she said no. She feared that James may stop talking to her in a normal way. All she wanted was to be friends for now.

"Uhh, In a liking way?" he said pleasently(sp?). James stopped walking and stared at Lily as she tried to think of an answer. She followed James, and stopped walking as well. She moved back a bit and then said, "Oh, uhh, James. I'm sorry. But umm, I.. I.. I like some one else." she said unfortunately. James gave her an uneasy look and replied with an,

"Oh, Ok. Fine. Listen Lily, I got to go, I just remembered that I have a report to finish for Slughorn." James set off down the Hallway, tears streaming down his face. He went past the library and didn't see that Sirius and Amanda were in there, snogging. Sirius pulled apart from Amanda and told her, "I'll be right back." Sirius followed James down a corridor and found him banging his head against a wall.... yet again.

"James? What are you doing, mate?" he asked. Sirius slowly walked towards James and pulled him away from the wall. "Did you ask her out and she rejected you?" he asked with a little laugh.

Hey guys, I took some advice and put my story onto WordPad. Hopefully This one will be long.


"Dude, all I did was ask her if she liked me as I like her." he retorted. James left Sirius to stand there all alone. He got back to the portrait hole and said the password. The fat lady was way past drunk and waited about 3 minutes until she actually let him in. James scoffed at the portrait and walked on in. He stomped his way to the boys dorm and saw Peter in the corner of the common room, transforming into his rat form. Just before he turned into a rat, He gave James the look of desire. Peter's look was telling him to join him, Moony and Padfoot for a midnight stroll. He nodded his head and followed Peter into the corner. He whispered to the Rat, " I'll meet you outside the entrance hall doors. Now Shoo!" The rat scurried across the floor and into a hole near the fireplace. James ran out of the portrait hole and down the stairs. He slided down the bannister(sp?) and landed on one of his knees.

"OWIE!" he shouted. He pulled his head up and saw a shadow coming in from around the corner. It was Snapes shadow. James rolled to the closest wall to him and hid behind it. He glanced around the corner and saw Severus snooping around.

If Only I had my cloak with me.. He thought throughly. James peeked around the corner again to see if he was still there. Snape had gone. James let out a sigh of relief and set off to the entrance hall. When he got there, he saw a small rat and a very large black dog. He supposed that they were waiting for him. He walked casually towards them and said, "Well? What are we waiting for? Let's go boogy!"


Lily slowly walked around the school, thinking about the question that James had asked her earlier. It had been in the back of her head ever since he asked her. Lily was thinking about whether she actually liked James or not. Then , she saw James walk out of the door with a rat and a nasty black dog. She got curious and decided to follow. She opened the entrance doors and saw an extrodanary thing. Lily saw James turn into a Stag. It was a beautiful sight. The animals wandered down the patch of grass and went passed Hagrids cabin, and into the Forbiddon Forest. Inside her mind she was debating whether to go in or not. Then in the end she finally found her senses and followed them. Lily pulled out her wand and whispered, "Lumos." Everything around her suddenly became lighter. She found it much easier to walk around, and not hit a tree. She followed the sound of the animals foot steps and made sure that they wouldn't hear her.

Finally the three animals came to a stop. They stopped at the Whomping Willow. They all transformed into their original selves and started talking very quietly. All Lily could hear was, "... So are we going to do this?" "Well we got to.. if it's gonna get him to stop following us." "C'mon Guys, This could be murder! We can't" "Are you chickening out?" "No.." "Then what's to worry about? Let's go! I hear him coming." They went back into animals and waited for a few seconds. Then from the far right of the forest, a tall, lanky greasy haired boy came out. Lily couldn't get a clear image of the boy and walked closer. Then she realized who it was. Severus Snape. Lily gasped loudly and had the urge to run towards him and tell him to go away. But she couldn't move. It was like she was put under a spell and it wouldn't let her move at all. She tried and tried and just grew tired from trying so much.

James looked around and then followed the others into the hole into the tree. He looked behind him and saw Snape trudging his way towards the tree. He sighed loudly than transformed back into human. The others heard and went back to normal as well.

"JAMES!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN?" shouted Sirius. He chased after James and tried to tackled him down, he didn't succeed. James made it out of the hole and ran towards Severus.

"SEVERUS! SEVERUS GET AWAY FROM THERE! Your going to get hurt!" he shouted. James reached him and threw him down the the ground. James pulled him away from the tree and looked back. He saw Peter and Sirius staring at him in awe.

"James!? James what are you doing?" shouted Sirius. Sirius grew frustrated with James and transformed back into a dog. He scampered away from the scene and into the darkness. Peter became frightened and followed the large dog into the darkness.

James was struggeling(sp?) with Snape as he continued to move and wriggle to get free. James pushed his arms deep into the ground and then said, "Snape! Get out of here right now! Your going to die if you stay here!" Snape stared at him bewildered.

"Potter! Get off of me!" shouted Severus. He thrashed and thrived to get away from James' grasp. James pushed his arms harder into the ground. "Get out of here right now!" James was getting furiated(sp?) with Severus and got up and just pulled him away. James pushed Snape up to a tree and said,

"You should be thanking me for saving your life. You could've been killed tonight. But I changed that because I actually have a soft side unlike those dolts.Now, go back to your common room. And don't leave."


Lily stared at James and then down at her shoes. She tried to move once more and she succeded. She sprinted out of the forest and stopped at the edge of it to get a breather. She looked back and saw a large animal running towards her. Lily stood up straight and moved back several feet away from the forest. The large animal appeared from the forest. It was a Werewolf! Lily whimpered and fell down on the ground. She curled up into a ball as the Werewolf moved closer to her, hunger in it's eyes. Then, out of no where, a very large Stag came thundering out of the forest and attacked the Werewolf. The Werewolf got hurt badly from the Stag's attack and limped away into the darkness. Lily immerged from her little ball and stood up. She stared into the Stag's eyes and waited for James to re-appear. Lily waited about five minutes until he did so. When he fully transformed into a human again, Lily ran up to him and gave him a hug. She squeezed him so hard his eyeballs almost came out of their sockets. Lily pulled away and had her arms still wrapped around his neck. James looked into her eyes and said,

"Lily. I'm sorry for being so ru--" Lily put her finger on his lips and replied, "James.. Don't ruin the moment." She pulled her finger away from his lips, and replaced it with her lips. James' eyes went wide and then he closed them. He didn't know whether to deepen the kiss or just leave it the way it was. But either way, it was perfect. They pulled away and stared into each others eyes deeply. Lily placed her forehead onto his and said

".... I love You James." Her voice shook very much as she said that. James looked down, then up at Lily again. "Do you know how long I've been waiting for you to say those words to me?" he asked. He smiled and kissed her again. This time he knew it was right to deepen the kiss. After a few minutes of snogging, the pulled apart.

"Your not going to freak out on me for kissing you are you?" he asked, jokingly. Lily chuckled and answered with a simple, "No, James. I would never do that."

The next Morning, many other Gryffindor's saw the pleasent sight of James and Lily, sleeping on the couch. Lily's head rested upon James' chest, while his arms were wrapped around her waist. Sirius and the other Marauders came stumbling down the stairs. Peter, looking very tired with huge bags under his eyes, Sirius, looking angry and shocked at the same time, and Remus, who looked the worst of all. He had many scratches on his face and he looked very pale. As they came down the stairs and into the common room, they saw James and Lily on the couch. Sirius smirked and wolf-whistled and they woke up suddenly.

"Had a late night last night eh ,Prongs?" he asked with a large grin on his face. James gave him a smile in return and nodded slowly. Lily looked up at him and smiled too. Many smiles were spreading around the room. Lily got up and went up to her dorm room to change. Leaving James behind, his smile went wider and he and Sirius started laughing.

"Sirius! I owe you so much man! If it weren't for you telling Snape to go there, I would've never kissed Lily!" James said. He ran up the stairs to his dorm room and shut the door. Sirius just stood there, even more shocked then he was before.

Hey Guys, I have nothing to do this fine evening, so I've decided to post another part!


Sirius' eyes followed James as he walked into the dorm room. As he shut the door, Sirius' eyes fell back down to where he stood.

"He did what With Lily?" he asked silently. He didn't even wait for an answer and walked up the stairs to the dorm room. Sirius shoved open the door to see a happy James, lying on his bed. He looked up and grinned even wider. James sat himself right up and started bouncing on his bed. Each time James would bounce, his smile would widen.

"Dude, tell me all the details! I want to know!" Sirius started to bounce on his bed with him and then James fell on his bed.

"Ahh, man.. Last night was.. Wow.. I .. I've lost my words, I'm so speechless!" James put his head into his hands and lifted his head up again. "I think this smile I'm wearing is never going to wear off." Sirius started laughing and said through the loud laughs,

"Just... tell... me... all...ready!" he finally fell down on the bed as well and then waited for James to start. He felt like a little kindergardener waiting for the teacher to tell a story before nap time. James started off with the 'how he chased Remus into the woods, and then found him almost pouncing on Lily. and how he had saved her life '

".... Then she kissed me and then she said she loved me! You hear that Padfoot! SHE SAID SHE LOVED ME!" he shouted very loudly.

Lily got into her dorm room and saw one of her friends named Julia on her bed. Lily came in, all smiles and what-not and jumped on her bed.

"Hey Julia. How are you?" she didn't wait for an answer. "I'm having the best time of my life... You know how I've liked James all these years right? Well.. I HAVE HIM!!" she shouted very loudly. "You hear that Jules? I HAVE HIM!!" Julia started to back away slowly. She stared at Lily, having a scared look on her face.

"Lill.. are you ok? I honestly think that he's gone to your head a bit.." Julia smiled cheekly and then laughed. "How long have you two been going together then eh?" she asked.

Lily smiled and replied, "Only one day. Last night was so perfect though. I actually don't even know if it's real. " she trailed off, trying to remember of the recent events. Julie stared at her. "Well.. what the Hell are you waiting for? Tell me! I want to know the details!!" Julie and Lily got relaxed and she started telling about how she followed James to the Whomping Willow and how she wanted to tell Snape to go away but couldn't and then she started telling about the Werewolf and how James had saved her and she went on and on and on. Julie was so interested with this story that she actually became a bit jealous of her.

"... Then I did the best thing i could possibly ever do.. I kissed him! I've been longing so much to actually kiss his lips." Lily made a gesture with her hands as if she was showing the move of 'Jazz Hands'. Julie laughed and then said politly,

" Wow, Lily, your so lucky. Was he a good kisser?" and before Lily could reply, James came bursting through the door, with the smile he couldn't get rid of. She smiled back at him and ran towards him. Lily burried(sp?) herself into his chest as she hugged him.

"I missed you." she said softly. She looked up at James and he smiled even wider then said, "I missed you too." He leaned in close to her face and looked up, he saw Julia staring at them. He changed the almost-to-be kiss into a whisper, "We'll continue this kiss later when Jules isn't here." he kissed her cheek and grabbed her hand. They walked across the common room, hand in hand.

James and Lily reached the dark and forbidden Portrait door. James pushed Lily up onto the wall and started to kiss her slowly, yet passionate. He didn't want to ruin the moment. Lily felt james graze the top of her lip with his tongue, wanting access to inside her mouth. She stopped the kiss and moved her head to the left.

"Lily, hunny. What's wrong?" James moved her head so that he could stare into her beautiful emerald green eyes. "You can tell me anything babe. If your not comfortable with this then we can stop."

Lily stared up at James and smiled weakly. "I don't know how to kiss in that way.." she said quietly and felt quite embarressed. James smiled and said, "Well we can change that? Can't we?" Lily laughed along with him. "I hope so." she replied. James placed his forhead onto hers and gave her a quick kiss.

"Follow me, I'll show you a place where we can be alone." James grabbed her hand and pulled her out of Portrait hole. People stared at them as they fast-walked down the hallways. They stopped at the Staircases and James pondered for a moment. He remembered with a slight, "Ah." and pulled her up to the seventh floor. When they finally got to they're destination, James let go of her hand and walked past a empty wall three times thinking to himself,

"I need to find a romantic spot for me and Lily, I need to find a romantic spot for me and Lily, I need to find a romantic spot for me and Lily." Then from out of no where, a large oak door was in the middle of the empty wall. James opened the door and held out a hand towards Lily.

"After you, M'lady."

Lily took a hold of his hand and giggled silently as he guided her through the door. Once Lily got into the Room, she was shocked by how gorgeous it looked.

The walls were covered with cute little sayings like, “You are the one for me” and “I would die without you.” The lights which were once a nice normal color were now a deep Romantic Red.

Lily turned to James and smiled sweetly. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“James, this is beautiful...” she said. James slid his hands around her waist. “No It’s not.” he said shortly. She stared at him, confused.

“It’s not?” she asked him, concerned. “If he doesn’t like this, then why did he pick it?” She thought.

James shook his head. “Nope, the only thing that I find beautiful in this world is...” he waited a few seconds,”...you.” He blushed and became interested in the ceiling.

Lily blushed also and saw that he was staring at the ceiling. She looked at his neck and kissed it. The kiss caught James’ attention at once. He stared into her eyes and smiled very wide. He then remembered the exact reason why they came down to the Room of Requirement. James looked at her again and said, “You know... the reason why we came down here was for me to teach you how to kiss properly.” He started at Lily again waited to see if she acknowledged. Lily smiled back at him and nodded her head. She started to pull James closer to her and pulled him towards the bed that laid in the corner.

James fell on top of Lily and waited for her to start the kissing. Lily pulled his head closer to hers then said, “Teach me... teacher.” James smiled and leaned in closer and kissed her. He stopped and then said, “Just let me do it first... then follow what I do ... uhh.. Except in my mouth.” he added with a smile. He started kissing her again and then he proceeded with grazing his tongue over the top of her lip. She opened her mouth, allowing him to teach her.

The next morning James and Lily were on the bed, fully clothed. She woke up and smiled very widely. Her head was resting upon his chest once again. Lily looked over to were James lay and she heard him murmur some things like, “But I don’t want to hammer my toe..” and “No! That’s my banana!”Then his hand swung violently and he hit himself in the nose, that woke him up.

“Wha..wha..what?!” he said sitting bolt up-right. Lily fell onto his legs as he sat up. She got out of the bed and stared at him. “Banana’s huh?” she asked. James laughed a little then got up and hugged Lily. “Good Morning to you too hun.” He kissed Lily on the cheek and walked her out of the room.

James and Lily walked around the school hand-in-hand still, stopping every now and then for quick little kisses.

(Hey..sorry that’s all i got for this post!)

They reached the portrait hole and it opened. Sirius, Remus and Peter walked out into the open. They saw James and Lily, and they gave James wide smile. James returned the wide smile, added with a thumbs up. The other Marauders started laughing and turned around to walk with the couple.

"So? Did you guys have fun last night?" asked Sirius, excitingly. Remus and Peter closed in around them, waiting for the answer. James stood there and replied,

"That is none of your buisness." James looked around the mini-circle, then started to chuckle. He moved closer to his three friends and said quietly, "I'll tell you guys later." and with that. James lead Lily away from the group.

Once they were in the Common Room, Julia , walked by them, and gave Lily a dirty look, but as she walked by James, she smiled sweetly. She didn't understand why Julia was acting so strange. Lily bid James goodbye, so she could go upstairs and change. Just before she left, she kissed James on the cheek softly. After she left, James touched the place were she had kissed him.

Julia saw that Lily had gone upstairs, and she approached James.

"So your going out with Lily now huh?" she asked innocently. He looked at her and nodded. "She's a lucky girl. Most girls in this school would kill to have you has their boyfriend....." she said as she moved closer to James. "Especially me." Julia moved her lips closer to his and kissed him. James was shocked, but kissed her back. From behind them, James heard a girl cry his name.

"James!" Lily shouted. "I knew it was to good to be true!" she shouted again. Lily ran up the stairs into the girls dormitory(sp?) and slammed the door. James pushed Julia away and ran after Lily.

"Lily!! Lily!" he screamed after her. James reached the staircase and ran up it. He only got up about five stairs, then the stairs turned into a slide. He started sliding down and once he got to the bottom, he tried to climb up it again. After about nine trys of trying to get up to Lily's dorm, he gave up. James swore loudly and ran up to his dorm room. He got into the room and also slammed the door. He threw himself onto his bed and actually started crying. He had the love of his life grasped in his hands, and he had to do something stupid such as kissing another girl to ruin it.

*Lily's POV*

I kissed James upon his cheek as I went upstairs to go get changed. After staying in there for five minutes, remembering what just happened, I couldn't help but smile. I walked out of my room and walked down the stairs, awaiting to see James at the bottom holding his hand out for me. But instead of seeing him at the bottom of the stairs, I saw him kissing Julia.

"James!" I shouted. "I knew it was too good to be true!" I shouted once again. I ran up the stairs back into my room and slammed the door. I jumped on my bed and started crying my eyes out. I just became madly in love with James, and then I realized that he was the same James as always. The one who would always screw up and ruin other peoples lives. I can't believe that I could be so blind. Thinking that he actually liked me back.

Then I heard the door open slowly. I looked up to see Julia walk in looking all happy and she had a smug look on her face. She just looked at me and smiled devily(sp) at me. I then got up and pushed her from behind.

"What is the matter with you?! You knew I was going out with James!" I screamed at her. Julia turned around and retaliated(sp?) back towards me. "You've got to learn Lily, that you can't get everything you want!" she shouted back at me. I pushed her again. It soon turned into a big pushing fight with much swearing involved in it.

"Your a backstabbing [mod edit]!" I screeched at her. She stopped pushing me and then said, "Oh yeah? Well at least I didn't have sex with James!" I stared at her. Me? Have Sex with James? What Drugs is she on!? I thought. "What are you talking about?" I asked amazed. Julia scoffed at me. "C'mon, you know what I'm talking about. Where were you and James last night? Probably in that secret room of his having sex." she retorted. Anger started growing inside of me. Each time she spoke, it made me angrier. After that last remark, I had had enough. I scrunched my hand into a fist and made sure that it made contact with her jaw. I watched her stumble backwards, and hit the wardrobe. Julia fell down onto her knees and looked up and me. Two of her teeth were missing. I couldn't help but laugh.

*End Lily's POV*

James was in his room still, hugging his pillow. He didn't care who thought he looked like a baby hugging his pillow like that. He wished that he could rewind what had just happend and then everything would be OK. But he couldn't. He finally decided to leave the room and go down into the Common Room. Just as he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw Lily come down the stairs, looking all pleased and cheerful. Is she over me already? He thought carefully. Lily looked over to the boys dorm room and just smiled sweetly. She walked towards James and stopped in front of him. James smiled and was about to speak until everyone in the room heard a loud smacking noise coming from the corner of the room. James' head was now facing his right. Lily walked closer to him and whispered into his ear, "You ignorant little [mod edit]-ant." James now knew that he was in trouble. He looked back at Lily and as she started to walk away he grabbed her arm. "Lily you got to know that I wasn't expecting that! I didn't know she was going to do that. I swear to god!" he said to her. Lily just shook her head.

"You have no idea.. no idea how much you've hurt me have you?" she asked scornfully. She ripped her arm away from his grasp and walked away. Tears streaming down her face. She walked past the other Marauders and they just watched her leave. Once she left the room, they walked over to were James sat. Remus put his hand on his shoulder. "It's ok mate. You'll get her back." said Sirius. He just kept on staring into the fire and didn't say anything else. Sirius looked at Remus and shrugged his shoulders. He didn't know what to do. None of his friends had gone through this type of pain before. They all looked at eachother and decided to leave James alone to think things over.

Hey Guys, sorry i haven't updated in a while, I was camping with a friend. But here's the new post.




It had been a week since the incident between James and Lily. He had tried to talk to her and explain what really happened. But Lily would just walk away from him. Lily had no intention to talk to James ever because she thought that he was back to the same Potter he had always been. The same old obnoxious Potter. Every time she saw him in the hallways, she would smile and then walk faster.

Lily met up with a few of her friends, excluding Julia. She spent most of her time now, crying. Her friends tried as hard as they could to make her forget him. Sarah, one of Lily's other friends, was always with her. She never wanted to leave Lily alone, just in case she did something stupid. Now James on the other hand, was now always alone and would ignore his friends. They soon, became frustrated with him and all decided to leave him alone, until he came back to his senses.


"C'mon Lil, get over him! I mean you know what he was like when he went out with Sophie. He did the same thing!" said Sarah.

Lily looked up at Sarah and then replied, "But Sarah, I still love him. I can't get over him. Ever since that first kiss, it was like it was meant to be.." Sarah stared at her.

"You mean when he forced you to kiss him in the hallway?" asked Sarah, shocked and wide-eyed. Lily laughed and shook her head. "No, Sare, No. That was a bit freaky.." she said while laughing still. Sarah joined her in their laughs.


James was walking down the hallway and swore that he heard Lily's laugh. He started running down the hallway and saw her and Sarah in a corner, laughing. He felt alond and sad. He decided that if he wanted to get Lily back, and soon, that now was his time. He trudged his way to Lily. She saw James coming towards her and smiled.

"What do you want?" she asked raving. Lily stood up and moved closer to James. "Haven't I already told you to leave me alone?" she asked once more. James just chuckled.


"Dear sweet Lily. I know you. You still want me. I mean come on, you even said yourself that those kisses were amazing." he said smartly. Sarah moved in between the both of them then said, "James, just give her time. She's still in shock about you kissing Julia." she said, adding a disgusting groaning noise in saying Julia's name.

James and Lily stared at Sarah. Lily pushed her out of the way then said, "What are you talking about? "Still in shock."? I'm not in shock! I'm outraged!" roared Lily. "Now listen Mister. If you actually did Love me, like you so said. Then you would've pushed her away instead of kissing her back. You probably made her feel more powerful and almighty than ever! And I don't want you anymore because your a pig-headed idiot!" she screamed at him. Sarah then interrupted Lily and said,

"But I thought you said you still loved--" but she was cut off by Lily herself. "Shh, Sarah! Can't you hear me screaming at Potter?" Lily turned back to James and saw him standing there, awe-struck. "What are you staring at you big baffoon?" she asked provoked. He pulled up his jaw off the ground and then said back to Lily.


"See! See! Oh I so got you there! You still love me! I told you you wanted me back! I told you!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. Lily then shook her head.


"You see Potter? That's where your wrong. I don't want you back. I just still love you. That's all." she answered. He gave her a weird look, then also shook his head.


"Whatever Lily Evans. Soon you'll be begging to have me back. And who knows I may want you back. Or not." he replied. And just before Lily could repsond, he walked away, feeling all proud and happy. He left Lily standing there, confused. She swore then looked back at Sarah. "Do you believe him? Do you believe him?" she asked annoyed. "I am never going to want him back. Mark my words. After what he has done, never."


Soon after Lily and James had that talk, she started dating other people.She dated people like, a sixth year from Hufflepuff name Randy Davis and then a few Slytherin's if you can believe it. She dated Vincent Crabbe Jr. and Lucias Malfoy, only for a few days though. Now, some of Lily's friends were ill-tempered with her choice of boyfriends. Lily didn't listen to them when they gave her warnings like, "Don't date him Lil! He's gonna rip your heart out and tear it in two!" and "Lily why him? He's so... ugly.." After all the warnings and concerns, Lily got tired of all her friends nagging her on about it so she stopped. After a while, she became lonley and became hungry for more. Then her friends then shouted her her, "If your so desperate then go back with James!"

Sorry Guys, I've been 'grounded' off the computer. Heres the new chapter thingy.

Lily just scoffed and then sighed. She finally gave up and said,

"Ok, you guys win. But now if you excuse me, I'm going to head off to bed. Nighty-Night." she said softly as she made her way out of the room. Lily did her usual routine when she walked up the stairs. Go up the first three, skip the fourth one, go up the next three, skip the eighth one. Lily got up to the top of the stairs and saw something unusual sitting at the foot of her door. She studied the figure for a moment, then realized who it was. James. He lifted up his head to reveal his hazel eyes looking puffy and tired. Lily gasped loudly and moved back a few steps.

"James what are you doing here?.. and How did you get up here?" she asked sternly. James smiled and stood up and took ahold of her hand.

"Well, it first started when I heard that you went out with Lucias Malfoy. I began to think that you were becoming desperate, so I decided to take my free time, to climb up the slide, and also decided to wait until you came up here so I could talk to you. So, pretty much. That's my story." he answered politly. Lily looked appalled but didn't dare try to argue. She wanted to pull her hand away from his grasp, but couldn't. She felt so safe and warm, holding on to his hand. She allowed her head to dangle downwards, because she felt guilty. James lifted her head up with his index finger, and saw that Lily was crying gravely. He wiped away her tears and pulled her in closer to him. He wanted her. He needed her. He needed to feel her warmth again. James pulled Lily in for a kiss, but she refused.

"James don't......" she started, as she pulled away from him. James didn't want to feel her rejection against him. He shook his head and said,

"Lily, stop playing like this. Your going to get nowhere when you do stuff like this. All I want is your kiss." he said shakily. Lily started sobbing again, and tried to pull away. She could feel his pain, pusling through her. She felt it like a ton of bricks just hit her. She didn't want to have pain anymore. She gave up and pulled herself into James' grasp and kissed his lips softly. His eyes went very wide as they did when she first kissed him. He responded by closing his eyes also. He didn't expect Lily to give up like that. He deepened the kiss, and she allowed him to. Lily wrapped her arms around his neck, and he placed one hand on her waist and the other in her hair. The kiss felt like it lasted forever. But in reality, it only lasted three minutes.

Lily pulled away and rested her head upon his shoulder. James still had his hand in her hair, and carefully moved it down the place it in the small of her back. They both hugged each other tightly, not wanting to ever let go.

The next day, news spread quickly that Potter and Evans were back together. Many smiles also spread around the common room, when they saw Lily and James wrapped into each others arms tightly. Even the other Marauders were now happy, to see their friend having the love of his life in his hands again. James couldn't be seen without a smile on his face. Everyone thought he used botox just to make it look like he was happy all the time. But no. It was just plain, James Potter. Happy as can be. Lily also couldn't be seen without a smile. And everytime, James and Lily would look at each other while they were in the hallway, the would give each other a hungry look, and Lily would bite her lip.

Julia on the other hand, was not to pleased with herself. When ever she saw them together, she would just cringe. Julia now couldn't stand seeing Lily happy. She wanted her to be miserable. She wanted James. Julia had tried numerous times to split them up again. But she failed miserably each time. So she tried a new approach. She started rumours about Lily, and some of them even worked. But Lily's close friends stood by her side. They new if they retaliated(sp?) that they would be just as low as her. So they just ignored it. Julia was becoming agrivated(sp?). She now started yelling at Lily in the hall ways for what ever reasons.


"Lily! Stop being such a *****!" shouted Julia, one day before the last class of the day. Lily stared at her in confusion. "Come on Lily! We all know what you've done with Potter!" Just before Lily could reply, James Stepped in.

"Listen Julia. No one wants to hear your ****. Or your lies. So why don't you just give up? Because everyone knows what you did with Nolan! And stop trying to break me and Lily up! It's not going to work, because you know what? I love her and she loves me back, your not going to break us up so why don't you just shut up, and leave us alone you filthy creep!" he screamed. Lily became excited and walked over to Julia. She (Julia) looked hurt. Very hurt. As soon as Lily stepped towards Julia, she didn't have the chance to say what she was going to say. Because Julia's friends cornered her.


"You place one hand on her you ugly little mudblood and it will be that last thing you ever touch." said that tallest, and largest one of them all, Danica Norrell. Lily started chuckling and stomped her foot a few times on the ground.


"Did--did-- you just---call her a 'thing'?" she asked between laughs. Everyone else around her started laughing. Julia's friends grabbed a hold of Lily's upper-arms, and pulled her over to a wall, and slammed her up against it. Making sure that she hit her head hard. Julia followed her friends and then was nose-to-nose with Lily. She moved closer to her ear and whispered.

"You are going to wish, you never punched me. Because you know what? I'm going to Punch you out." Julia raised her fist, and made contact with Lily's stomach. Lily could do nothing but stand there, being held up agaisnt a wall, getting pulverized. She was expecting James to help her as she first punched her. She was right. Just after the first few punches to the stomach and one to the nose, James came running towards the group of girls. He threw Julia away from Lily, and pushed the other girls away. Lily fell to the ground hard, and slid sideways on the ground. He followed her, and lifted her up. He wanted to see if she could stand up straight. Once James let go of her, she almost fell to the ground again. He caught her and held on to her waist. Her nose was bleeding, and she coughed up blood a few times. James now became very worried and hurried her to the Hospital Wing.

Madam Pomfrey studied her for a few moments, then called the Headmaster over to the Hospital wing. Headmaster Dippit ran fast and slid into the room. He rushed over towards were Lily lay, and demanded that James explained what happened.

"Uhh--well--you see here--umm..." he began. James was still holding onto Lily's hand tightly. He finally found his words and then started to explain.

"And then Julia started punching her sir. Then that's when I brought Lily here, sir." he finished quickly. James was sweating quite repulsivly. He looked down at Lily, to see that her breathing had slowed down. He moved towards her and tried to wake her. "Lily?" he asked. "Lily?" he asked once more.

"She won't wake for a while, Potter." answered Madam Pomfrey. He stared at her. "Why? Why not?" he demanded. Madam Pomfrey looked insulted.

"Because, Potter. She has been abused quite enough this year, and the shock has well, shocked her even more. She has fallen into a deep and dark sleep. She will not wake up for another few days, I suspect."she answered once more.

James sat beside Lily for the three days she was in the hospital wing. He never left her side, even to eat. James held Lily's hand tightly. Every night, at 7:00, Moony, Padfoot and Wormtail would come into the Hospital wing and hand him some food.

"Thanks guys. I really appreciate this." James said, not looking up. Sirius stared in Remus and Peter's direction then rolled his eyes.

"C'mon mate! You haven't been hanging out with us during night time. Please just come out tonight?" he asked pleadfully. He nudged James' arm and waited for a reply. James shrugged his shoulders and didn't answer. He stared at Lily, waiting for her to wake up. Madam Pomfrey came by and shooed the others and attempted to make James leave. He just sat in his chair, waiting, and waiting for her to awake. Hours later, he began to feel his eyes droop, so he allowed them to close, allowing him to fall into a deep heavy sleep. He was still holding onto Lily's hand.

Another day is going by
I'm thinking about you all the time

The next morning, Lily opened her eyes at snail pace, and felt her hand being covered with some one elses hand. She lifted her head up and stared at the man holding her hand. She became confused for a few moments, then found out who it was. James Potter. The man who she had loathed for those many years. The man who had asked her out all those many times. The man who had finally woke her up, to make her realize that she needed him. Her boyfriend. She shook her hand, to wake him up. He moved his head and was still dormant. She shook her hand more violently and he awoke with a start. James let go of her hand and looked around suddenly. Lily giggled to herself and sat herself up so she could see him better. He met his gaze on Lily as she giggled, and wrapped his arms around her.

"Oh my god, Lily! I thought I lost you for a few minutes!" he breathed into her ear. She tightend the hug and held him even more tightly.

"I missed you too." she replied sweetly. They pulled away and embraced themselves into a deep kiss that lasted for 2 minutes. When they pulled away, Lily was in tears. James cradled her face in his large hands. He used his thumbs to wipe away the tears. When she tried to say why she was crying, James put a finger on her mouth.

"Just shhh. No need to talk." he said. She smiled and hugged him again.

Earlier that day, Lily was released from the Wing and she was free to wonder around. She hadn't spent one minute away from James. Lily had never felt this safe before, she finally felt like she was in the right place. Where she was meant to be forever. She looked up at James, as he looked down on her. She smiled and said three simple words.

"I love you." They stopped walking and James grabbed onto her shoulders. He stared into her bright green eyes, and felt like he had lost all of his strength. He shook his head and regained it all. James' smile went very wide and he then replied with a ,

"I love you too, Lily." She smiled back at him and moved her head closer to his and pressed her lips against his. It was a sweet, passionate kiss. James felt his insides melt. He moved his hand to the small of her back, and the other to her neck. This time, it was Lily that grazed the top of his lip. He opened and allowed her to follow through. It soon turned into a heavy snogging session between them. For short periods of time, they would break apart to get some air, but were enjoying what they were doing so much, that they didn't want to quit. Lily finally pulled away and whispered in his ear,

"James....... I--... I want.. To be with you." James hugged her and whispered back,

"You are, though." Lily pulled away and looked into his hazel eyes. She chuckled and moved a lock of his hair away from his eyes.

"Not just like this. I mean ..... for-e-ever." she faltered. James' eyes widened and he stepped away. Lily was shocked and confused.

"What's the matter, James?" she asked curiously. His eyes, still widened, went back to their dreamy selves. He grinned and moved his hand through his hair. He sighed loudly and then said to Lily,

"You honestly want to spend the rest of your life with me?" he asked, surprised. "Well guess what Lily Evans." he said shortly.

"What James Potter?" she asked playfully. He moved closer to her once again and said,

"I do too." James wrapped his arms around her petite waist and hugged her tightly once more.

Together we broke all the rules
Dreaming of dropping out of school

So now maybe after all these years

Hey Guys.. sorry it's been long, I've been writing a lot lately.. but any ways... heres the next post.



James and Lily walked back to the common room hand-in-hand. They said the password and walked into the room to see couples kissing everywhere. Lily looked up and remembered that it was Christmas! Above the couple was a mistletoe. She tapped James' shoulder and he stared at her. She pointed her finger up towards the ceiling and he followed her finger. He smiled and licked his lips. He pulled Lily in closer to him and she giggled. Lily wrapped her arms around his neck and she put one hand into his messy hair. She knew he loved that. James moved his head towards Lily's and she closed her eyes. Right before they kissed, they heard a loud scream coming from the top of the girls dormitory. Lily snapped open her eyes and moved away from James instantly. She sprinted her way up the stairs and saw Veronica, one of her best friends, sitting on the bed, crying her eyes out.


"Veronica? What's the matter?" Lily asked impatiently. Veronica looked up at Lily and cried harder. Lily gave her a gentle shoulder to cry on and stroked her hair. Lily also began to cry. She didn't like seeing her friends like this. Lily's friend calmed down a bit and lifted her head up to look at Lily. Lily wiped away a tear that was flowing down her cheek. Veronica continued to stare at Lily. Lily repeated her question she had asked earlier. "Veronica? What happened?"


Veronica whipped her hair behind her and started to tell Lily what happened. "Well, I was just sitting up here when came into the room, smiling and what-not... I asked her why she was so happy and she said, 'Remus just asked me out.' I got angry with her and then I screamed." she finished the story. Lily continued to stare at her friend. Remus? A man-hooker? This can't be Remus. Thought Lily. "Be right back." she replied. She lifted herself up from the bed and rushed downstairs. She ran into James and pulled him into a corner in the Common- Room.


"Does Remus go out with more than one girl?" she asked rapidly. Her arm rested on his upper arm. James gave her an uneasy look.

"Remus? Go out with more than one girl? Lily what are you talking about? Remus is as faithful as I am to any girl." he replied. Now it was Lily's turn to give him an uneasy look. "Ok, Ok, maybe at little more faithful than I am. But honestly Lil, do you think that Remus is the type of guy to cheat on a girl?" he asked.

Lily stood there and sighed deeply. " No, I suppose not. But Veronica told me that Linda said that Remus asked her out? I thought Remus was going out Veronica?" asked Lily once again. James also sighed deeply,

"Yeah, he is. But why would he ask Linda out? I thought Sirius was going out with her... Now I'm really confused.. Hold on I'll be right back.. " and with that he gave Lily a quick kiss on the lips and ran towards the portrait hole. James ran down the corridor and turned left, right, right , left, and another right. James continued to fast-walk down the corridor but then suddenly, bumped into someone.

"So sorr--" he started. When he saw who he had bumped into, he jumped back quickly. It was Lucias Malfoy.

"James! Just the man I was looking for.. I need to talk to you.." Malfoy said. He moved to wards James and he cupped his ear. "It's a secret that'll make you go crazy." James gave him a alarmed look. He gave in and started listening to what he was saying. After a few moments, James' eyes were wide and full of anger.

Lily was waiting in the common room for James to return. Mostly everyone had gone to bed. The only people left in the common room, were Lily and Sirius. She was sitting in front of the fire and Sirius was finishing up a charms essay for Flitwick. Lily glanced over in his direction and saw that he was looking at her. As soon as they made eye contact, Sirius looked away, blushing. She giggled and walked over to him. Lily pulled up a chair next to him and just watched him.

"Whatcha doin'?" she asked playfully. She crossed her arms and put them on the table. Sirius looked at her and said,

"Just finishing up an essay for Flitwick.. I hate this spell checking quill. It's making me spell everything wrong." Sirius threw the quill down on the table and ink splattered everywhere. Lily moved her arms away from the spilt ink and started to help clean it up. Lily grabbed a extra piece of parchment and started to wipe the ink away. She gave up on the piece of paper as it kept on spreading the ink and threw it on the ground, missing the table. She bent down to pick it up, as did Sirius. They both reached for the parchment and their hands touched. Sirius looked up at Lily and he picked up the paper, still holding onto Lily's hand. He placed the paper on the table and didn't let go of her hand yet. Lily looked at their hands, and at Sirius. He shifted his chair closer to her, and she did also. Their faces where inches away from each other and they kissed. It seemed for a long time that they had started kissing. It turned into a soft kiss, into a passionate snog.

James came to wards the portrait door and said the password, angerly. He thrusted open the door and walked in to see his best mate, Sirius and his girlfriend, Lily, snogging over on the table. He clenched his fists and walked quickly over to the table. James pulled on the collar of Sirius's shirt and pulled him off of Lily. She gasped and fell off her chair. James was still holding onto his collar and he got down on the ground with him.

"So Malfoy wasn't lying then!" he shouted. Sirius struggled to get out of James' strong grasp.

"What are you talking about! It was an accident!" he shouted back at him. Sirius flipped James off of him and walked away into the dorm. James lay there, breathing heavily. Lily whimpered and moved back a bit more into the table. He looked up and saw her moving back. He picked himself up and walked over to Lily, he held a hand out for her and she took it. James lifted her up and walked away from Lily.


"James!" shouted Lily after him. James ignored her and continued to walk towards the fire. He sat down in front of the fire crying silently. Lily followed him and sat down beside him. "James, it's not what It looks like. He - we - I -I was helping him clean up some ink that fell down." James looked at her and scoffed.

"Yeah, that's it. It's never what it looks like right? Bull****! I know what you've been doing behind my back! I can't believe that I said I loved you! Your a backstabbing girl, Lily Evans!" he shouted at her. Lily moved back several inches and sobbed silently.

"What have I done behind your back, James?! Because as far as I know, I haven't done anything! And you call me a Backstabbing girl? Have you looked at yourself lately? You are a filthy little hypocrite James Potter! And don't you forget it!" she screeched at him. He stood up and moved closer to her.

" 'What have I done?' ? What have you done?! YOU'VE BEEN CHEATING ON ME WITH SIRIUS! That's what you've been doing! And don't you deny it! I know you have! And I have more than enough evidence to believe it for my own eyes!" James shouted back at her. He weaved around her and hit her shoulder on his way around her. Lily started rubbing her shoulder and gave a loud sigh of frustration and walked out of the portrait hole.

Hey Guyss.. I am sad to say that this is the last post for Lips of an Angel.. But I will still have That one Summer and I am Making a New one soon.. it is about Harry and Ron and Hermy and One of my own characters.. so yeah Hopefully that one will be good to me!! Have fun! P.S This will not be very long.

Lily stormed out of the portrait hole and walked down the corridor. She walked into the trophy room and stared into the glass cases. She saw a trophy with James' name on it.

"Stupid Git. Thinks he know's everything." she muttered under her breath. Lily started a silent sob, she sniffled every now and then. She continued to look at the glass case and kicked it from frustration. Her foot went numb after she kicked it. Lily sat down on the ground and rubbed her foot until she got feeling back in it. A loud noise came from outside of the trophy room. Lily shot up and moved into a corner. Next moment, the door to the room swung open and she heard someone crying. It was a boy. She moved her head slightly to the left and saw that it was James. James! He was crying. Lily thought she would never see the day when James would be crying. Lily looked closer and saw that he was clutching onto a photograph. James pulled it away from his chest and stared at the picture. Tear drops fell onto the picture and the people in it seemed to wither away. The girl in it looked familiar to Lily. She tried to get a closer look at it but James threw it on the ground. Lily now felt bad for kissing Sirius. But it's not like she wanted this to happen. I mean it was a mistake.. right? Lily got the courage to come out of the corner and she walked out somberly.

"James?" she asked quietly. James was startled so he jumped. "James.. don't leave.. I need to tell you exactly what happened. So just shut up and listen alright?" James' eyes widened and he then nodded. "Ok, I just went over to were Sirius was to see what he was doing. He spilt his ink so I tried to help him, the paper I used had become useless.. so I threw it.. and it missed the table and we bent over to pick it up. I didn't know he was going to pick it up.. so I just placed my hand on the paper and he did the same.. except it was my hand and not the paper.. we lifted the paper up and we then just.. kissed." she finished. Lily breathed in deeply and let the emotion of feeling guilty pulse through her body. Her arms were wrapped around herself, almost hugging herself. James looked at her, then at the picture on the floor. Before he had let a tear drop onto it, it was a picture of Lily and James during their first kiss. He had loved it very much, just like he had loved Lily so much. He shifted his feet on the floor and he looked back at Lily. He was still silent and then finally broke the silence.

"What do you expect me to do? Just allow you to break my heart, then welcome you back in my arms? That's not how it works Lily. I mean I walk into a room and see my best mate snogging my girlfriend. That's not exactly how I would picture a girl saying, ' I love you. ' Do you? " he asked angerly. Lily. still sobbing, shook her head furiously.

" No James. I know I've treated you like dirt. I'm really sorry. If you could please reconsider giving me one last chance, I swear it will be worth it." She said politely and quietly. He sighed and ruffled his hair.

"Lily, you can't expect me to take you back after you've done something like this." James was quiet and looked away then back at Lily. He sighed once more and smiled. "Well actually.. maybe you can expect me.." he said. He walked over to Lily and wrapped his arms around you. "I.. have a question for you Lily. It may be sudden, but I'm hoping that you will accept it." he said with an even wider smile on his face. He backed away and went down on one knee. Lily gasped and more tears flowed out of her eyes. James grabbed her left and and kissed it. "Lily Evans, love of my life.. will you marry me? After Hogwarts?" he added pleasingly. Lily nodded her head very fast and jumped onto James. Then from that moment on, they knew that they were meant for eachother.
