Mine would have to be Order of the Phoenix... It still is my favourite in the series and I'v read it the most. But I doubt I remember the tiniest detail of that book. I actuallly qiute like my memory when it comes to reading, because I often forget important details and stuff, so if I read it again it seems like the first time!!

Mine would have to be Goblet of Fire. That is the one I have read the most, so naturally know the most about. Next would be PoA than OotP. Next would be Sorcerer's Stone(Philosopher's in England). Than HbP, then CoS, and last b/c it is the newest, would be DH

I am only ten and i have read every single one of them 20-40 times each.
I am not kidding,not exaggerating,I swear.
I know it's hard to believe but i adore the books and the one and only J.K herself

hmm well if I were to put them in order out of which I know the best it would probably be:
1. Order of the Phoenix- at the minute its my favourite (but that changes every so often!)
2. Goblet of Fire
3. Philosophers Stone
4. Half Blood Prince
5. Prisoner of Azkaban
6. Chamber of Secrets
7. Deathly Hallows- but I think this is only last because I've only read it once...i can't bear to reread it at the moment, it's too upsetting that it's finally over!

I probably know the Philosophers Stone and the Order of the Phoenix best, we got the triva set for the former and I learnt all the answers from it off by heart! But as the latter is my favourite, I've read it more times than any other book.

Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. I have the board games for them, so I know all the questions.

I specialize in Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows and all the Harry Potter books except the order of the phoenix which i did not read that much..

Dec 25 2007, 02:26 PM
as the last HP book I've read is DH I have to say that I am kind of "expert" of it..although I dont know if that may change in a few months..I would have to wait to say if it is really my speciality..right now it is though..
but POA and HBP are really those I nearly know by heart...I guess I have read POA already half a dozen times or even more.. and HBP repeatedly in English and German..

Ok so... "clasps hands together happily"
Here goes
1# Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban it is sort of complex well not
really but it is a amazing story and I love it!
2# Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire the trio matures more and you see a
side of Harry that is more shy.
3# Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows again you see a new side of Harry he
is a lot more emotional. Well he should be I mean about Moody...
4# Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix if Sirius hadn't died it would of
been my first but I really liked Sirius
5# Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry and his friends make a
stronger friendship. They are the example of "BFF"
6# Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince OMG its
such a good book!
7# Harry Potter and the Sorcer's Stone beginning...bleh. I think I'm a "in the
action" type of person. You know?

Um...
1. Philosopher's stone because I've read it like, over ten times and find it easy to comprehend.
2. Chamber of secrets because I've read it like, seven times...
3. Order of the Phoenix because I read it the most recently so I can remember more
4. Prisoner of Azkaban because I've read that one a lot too...
5. Goblet of fire because I find it all pretty easy to take in and repeat in my brain over and over again (does that even make sense? If it doesn't that's because I've been brainwashed from being on this site too long)
6. Half Blood Prince because I don't have a reason
7. Deathly Hallows because I've read it the least amount of times and keep on forgetting parts.

Im going to have to change my speciality to deathly hallows because ive just read it so much and listened to all the things Jo has said afterwards, i think i read the book about 3 times in the first week it came out. Ive read the book about 15 times since then, and i think its because for this book i like took the effort of going through each page painstakingly slow, making sure id understood and got the concept of everything going on before i turned over. And the book means more to me then the others, so ive kid of warmed to it in a way. Hey with my 6 hours waiting for the book, i like to think we bonded.

While reading through other people’s posts, I have to ask a question, do I still count as a fan when I have read all the books only
once? *blushes a deep shade of red and hopes no one will think too harsh of her* Well, except for the Half-Blood Prince which I’ve read actually
twice. One of the reasons for the small number is that I've read all of them for the first time only during the last two years. Thus, I haven't had the strong urge and need to re-read and remember the books, as my reading experience of them is still rather fresh.
Obviously then, I
should be an expert on HBP, considering the number of times I’ve read it. But I guess I’m only an expert in quotation marks, as my knowledge definitely doesn’t match the one of other people here. Of course, I am able to theorize about each and every book from the series, but the hard trivia questions simly aren't for me, yet.

Mine would probably have to be Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, although it's not my favorite book I have just read it so many times and it used to be my favorite. In the movies, I can recite every single word to Prisoner of Azkiban, I find myself muttering things like "actually, it wasn't 'that a boy!' it was 'that's the ticket!' in the book but thats ok.." *roles eyes* hehe.

I have to say I am the sort of person who can remember a lot of what they have read after only the first tine reading it, so, since I have read it countless times, and it's my favourite so I know most of GoF. Next I would put OoTP (I am reading it at the moment, and the other day, I sat for ages just waiting for one little line to come up!), then probably PoA, but perhaps PS ~ apart from GoF and OoTP, the others are pretty even; I know loads of all of them! hehe.

Hmmmm... Well since the seventh book came out, I think it's that. I guess it ties up a lot of loose ends which therefore helps you understand the rest of the series. But I'm still pretty keen on OOTP. Even though it's the longest book, it's got detail which I like. You could practically ask me naything (within reason) and I could tell you (I think!?).

I guess I'm sort of specialized in part 3, not because I've read the book so many times, but because I've seen the movie about 6 times.

Jan 14 2008, 06:59 PM
Well I dunno if this applies or not but the one i've read most is Sorcerer's Stone, just because it's straightforward and is the shortest of the series. I can't say that I've really "specialized" on any of them, although I seem to relate most to OoTP and PoA, for reasons too elaborate to discuss.

I'd probably have to say six. It's just my favorite. I like how it's after the war started and all, but it still manages to be way less demented then the fifth one was. And I've read it fifteen times.

I think my specialty would be the remaining three, with Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows topping the list. I like long books.
I think that I especially took an interest in Deathly Hallows, because whether they were deliberate or not, there were some historical parallels. I have taken up a personal study of World War II since my senior year in high school, and there were parallels of that war in DH. Potterwatch was exactly like the Dutch secretly listening to BBC under the Third Reich. And Dumbledore's Army in DH, from what we learned, seemed to work a lot like the White Rose resistance in Munich. The obvious totalitarianism, and the oppression of Muggle-borns in DH, it was so similar to WWII.

I love all the books, except CoS and HBP, which I only 'like'. I love the other ones for different reasons though ...
PS because I know the Sorting Hat's song off by heart
PoA because it's when we were first introduced to Remus, who is one of my favourites
GoF because there's always something going on and there's never a dull moment
OotP because again, it's all action (and we met Luna and Tonks, my two other two equally favourite favourites)
DH because ... well, do I need a reason? Remus and Tonks got hitched and had a kid, Hermione and Ron got together, they finished Voldemort ... the list is endless.
So yeah, I love them all but if you made me pick it would be between OotP and DH.

The Order of the Phoenix. I've read it about 6 or 7 times.

Obviously, it's my favorite. And one of the only HP books I own.

I think it's also because it's the longest. I'm more drawn to big books. In second would be the first book. All the others I've only read 2 or 3 times, but a while ago. I want to get them all out again and read them all through. I've only read Deathly Hallows once.

I really have to read that again.

My specialty book would be the GoF, i read it quite many times than the other books and it is my favorite book.. Next is the OoTp...

My list would probably go like this:
Deathly Hallows
Goblet of Fire
Sorceres' Stone
Chamber of Secrets
Prizoner of Azkaban
Order of the Phoenix
Half-Blood-Prince

May 29 2008, 03:57 PM
My speaclty book would have to be Deathly Hallows..I read that one the most. Followed by Half Blood Prince...OOTP, GOF and the last 3 go in any order....I always read and re-read the book that's about to become a movie..just to refresh my memory...and see what's different about the two.

Mine would be OOTP.
I've written a 10-pages assignment about it and read it more than 20 times I'm sure. Probably a lot more. One of my friends got really impressed when we were talking about a scene in it and we couldn't agree on how it went. Then I grabbed my book and found the exact page in ten seconds. He dropped his jaw, and since then he's called the OOTP for my bible (it is too of course

). Oh, yeah, and I was right about the scene

After that it'd probably by PS. It's so wonderful and I look up things in it all the time. Then it'd be POF, GOF, CS, HBP and DH as I've not read the last two as many times as the others.

Jun 13 2008, 09:15 PM
I would have to say mine is DH. I have probably read it about 9 times. The next one would be OotP. I have read it 6 or 7 times. The others I have only read a few times. I love rereading them because, everytime I read them I find out something that I missed the first time.

Jun 13 2008, 11:14 PM
Definitely PoA.
It's always been my favourite book of the septology, mainly because thats the one we learn most about the Marauders in. And it's the main introduction of the lovely Sirius Black
I'd have to say I'm least specialised in DH. I've read it once, and refuse to read it again for a long while because I just don't want to believe that it's over. I've read all the other books atleast 5 times each, some of them more than that, but I just can't bring myself to re-read DH.

Hmm... that's a good question! I've read PS, COS, POA and GOF 3 times each; OOTP, HBP and DH 4 times each, so it's tough. My favorite is HBP, but for some reason DH is the one I seem to remember the most, I've tried to recite the whole event list by heart once- my family just got annoyed and I completely forgot what I was doing so I stopped.

So I'd have to say DH, probably cause it's the most recent, and then I guess HBP. I find GOF could be easy to remember too, though, because it's easy to remember the order with the tasks and Yule ball seperating them, like checkpoints.
Honeybee, I couldn't agree more! Everytime I read it, it's like something completely new I've never read before!

I've read each book about eight times except Deathly Hallows which I've only read three times. I think my specialty is probably Order of the Phoenix because it is my favorite book and I think I read it once or twice more than any other of the books but I'm not quite sure. Next would probably be Goblet of Fire and after that it is pretty much a toss-up.

i would say that the deathly hallows is MY specialty no since i have read it SO many times . everyone specialty is the sorceres stone lol but really i would say the deathly hallows & then maybe prisoner of azkaban then order of pheonix & the rest are tied (:

I don't think I've read certain of the 7 more than the others, but when i re-read the books i will take in more of the information if it is a book that is one of my favourites, so my speciality is probably Prisoner of Azkaban, mainly because of Sirius and Lupin's introduction because I love them two and the revelation of the story at the end in the Shrieking Shack. POA would probably be followed by Deathly Hallows, I've managed to catch up on the number of times I've read it compared to the other books quite quickly so I know it pretty well

Mine too. I loved how Sirius was so nice and really understood Harry. Also the whole thing about Harry's parents and Remus. That was all pretty cool.
I memorized it pretty much, don't worry I do have a life! Harry grew up in that one. But then you think about how hot he is.

mine is probably Goblet of Fire. For me this is obvious because i've read it more than i read all the others out together. It is my favorite by far (although The Deathly Hallows is great). I don't know why but I've always specialized in this book because it was the first book of Harry Potter that i read, and it was the one that i found out a lot of secrets and the whole story unfolded for me. But that's just what's in my head...

Let's see, I should probably say that my specialtey is all of them, but this is the order they go in:
1. DH
2. PoA
3. SS/PS
4. COS
5. GOF
6. HBP
7. OOTP
