What did you all get for your 2007 calendar? I went shopping today for one, there are sales now. There was a batch of calendars in the middle of the shopping centre, and I ended up finding a Mary Grandpre one. It's great! Has anyone got it? It's wierd because the christmas picture is in March, and the December picture is just Harry and Neville looking at the prophecy.
Mods, I made a search and couldn't find anything on this, so if there is please feel free to delete it and refer to me where the topic is

My brother bought me the Harry Potter Calendar for christmas. I was so happy!
And, a little bit off topic - mum gave me a Harry Potter address book, and my best friend gave me a Harry Potter diary (I guess they must think I'm a tad obsessed, huh?)

I think I must have a different one: July on mine has a picture of Harry with Professor Lupin, learning how to fight dementors. November shows Harry sitting at a table in a pub with Rita Skeeter. The current month, January, shows Harry playing Quidditch, and February (My birthday) shows Harry trying to catch the flying keys

Oh i haven't seen that one. Mine is based on GOF. I like it because it just shows people not actually pics from the film. Well maybe some stuff in the background. As for January i have Harry with hedwig and maybe the riddle house in the background. I think the only probalem with mine is that it is has loads of Harry.

Well, the pics in mine are "Cartoony" type pics, based on the books. The people in the pics look nothing like the actors in the movie, and I love it. But I didn't know, until now, that there were different ones. I'll have to keep a look out for them

I haven't even bothered to pick up a 07 calender yet. Maybe I will next time in town, or just wait for my mum to buy one.

Hi Kymar! You seem to have the same calendar as me! It's artwork by Mary Grandpre, the american illustrator of the HP books )

Personally I dislike the American cover art for the HP books, and much prefer the English cover. In Australia we get the English cover and I've only ever seen the American one on the internet, it just looks odd. I saw the calendar you're talking about in a throw-out bin in Target at the end of last year, and my friend and I looked through it at the odd pictures Mary Grandpre had drawn of Harry Potter. It looked nothing like I imagine it or how it looks on the English cover. I myself have a McLeod's daughters (TV show) calendar that I got in a magazine. As you can see I go all out for calendars

I never get a calender either. I just use the calender that is part of my work email. It reminds me of stuff automatically and it updates itself, so I really don't have to do much with it. Also, I carry around a Blackberry for work so I have my email and calender anywhere I go.

Yeah, I am in charge of all the Blackberry's held by our county Government officials (about 300). I am always forgetting what day it is though. It can be a major pain in the ***.

Erm, I don't mean to sound like an ignorant loser, but what's a blackberry? I thought you meant like, the fruit

I tend to use the calendar on my mobile for most things. I can set an alarm for certain things and it's easier to count down the days until something that way. I use the calendar in my school planner to mark things such as homework due dates and (most importantly) how many days until Harry Potter is released! I have an ongoing count down on every day in my planner

And then in HUGE letters on 21/7/07 I have 'HARRY POTTER DEATHLY HALLOWS RELEASED!' (Sorry about all capitals
