1. Ignore it - it'll be obvious what happened if the topics haven't yet been covered.
2. Save up from work, beg my family/friends for "donations" to the "really-cool-thing-I-want-fund"
3. He's a bit silly, but means well and is a very good person.
4. Professor McGonnagal - she knows what's up and gets things done, and she doesn't stand for any nonsense either.
5. I go pick him/her up. I've done it before... I've been stranded before too, so I know what it's like.
6. Most - I'm smart and I like to do things well. I also do my best to be kind to everyone all the time and make people feel good about themselves.
Least - I sometimes take on WAY too much responsibility and stress myself out a lot, and sometimes get sick over it. It's hard for me to say no if someone wants my help planning or organizing something.
7. Humor (real humor, not the put-down kind), kindness, loyalty, honesty, intelligence, selflessness
8.Walk away. I didn't do anything. I suppose I'd make that clear before I left though.
9. Losing the people I love. (On a "lighter" note, I;m terrified of people spoiling the end of books!!!!!)
10. Probably pride. I'm very proud of what I've done and what the people I love have done (and are doing). I don't think of that as a sin, really, though.
11.I want to be educated and smart. Beyond that, I have a million ideas - writer, secret agent, cartoonist, lawyer, professor,...
12. Sally Ride. She's been a real pioneer for women in academics, is completely brilliant, and has done some amazing stuff.
13. I want to write the Great American Novel, have a family, a job, etc, and do something that no one else has ever done before.
14. Depends on if my sister's play runs more than one night. But then again, who wants to go to a party that ends at 10, anyway?wink.gif
15. Straight from the Heart (straightfromtheheartinc.com)
16. Peek in the door and check it out. Besides, my friend has already been in there, right?
17. I suppose it would depend. How much did she take from me? How long ago? Has she been doing it consistently since? How can I prove she didn't do it this time? Too many variables here...
18. Neither. People should be praised for doing good things whether or not it goes to their head. It'll just make them want to be nice more often.
19. Call 911! Maybe run to a neighbor's too...
*phoenixcore*
1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the
middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do? I wouldn't look at it. After the test I would tell my friend that rather than relying on cheating, the both of us should get together, admitting that I need to study harder next time as well.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it? Find a way to make some money. Pehaps tutor another student in a subject I am especially good at.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks) He can be ornery at times, but his heart is good. He wants to understand how the world works and wants to make it a better place. He is very selfless (with the occasional exception) as we have seen in previous books. He also seems to be very determined to be good at that which interests him the most (ex. quidditch). All in all he seems to be very nice, and were I to meet such a person in real-life, I would most certainly befriend them.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?
I would definitely have to say Lee Jordan. His comical nature and his complete disregard for social/professional correctness (ex his personal comments made over the microphone while commentating the Hogwarts Quidditch matches) reflect my own personality very well.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up.They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do? Without a thought I would pick them up. Frisndship is very important to me, and I don't take my friends needs lightly.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why. My sense of humor would definitely have to be the thing I most like about myself. Thanks to my sense of humor, I make friends with everyone I meet. It has also allowed me to see certain things in this world in a better light. The thing I like least would most likely be my attention span. Sometimes I find myself straying from what I am working on without meaning to. It has gotten me into a whole mess of trouble in the past, but I have learned to control it.

7. What qualities do you admire in others? Courage would definitely rank on the top of the list. Without courage, people aren't willing to make change in the world. After courage there is loyalty. As mentioned before, friendship is very important to me and I feel that loyalty goes hand-in-hand with this sentiment.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation? I would first wonder were this child's parent was. I would try to find the parent and work this out with them. If I couldn't find them I would tell the child that I didn't know where their toy was, but I would be glad to help them look for it.

9. What are you afraid of and why? I fear most of all the death of those I love. I care deeply for those around me and I feel that a little piece of me resides in each and every one of them. When these people die, it is as if I am losing a little piece of myself in death.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why. Envy. Sometimes when I look at something someone has, whether it be something physical or perhaps just a trait that I admire, I feel a longing to have this thing that I envy. Envy is not always bad though. Maybe you envy the relationship between a father and his son. Certainly this is better than most cases.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why? Game designer. I believe that games are the best way to tell a story. It allows the player to emerse themselves, and participate in a story comparable to a novel or a movie. Video games are just the next stage of evolution for story-telling.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why? My girlfriend. She is so smart, and incredibly well versed in literature from time periods and authors that I have either never heard of, or never gave a thought to reading. She is the most important person in my life as she is always there when I need her.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life? I want to be a good husband when I get married, and if I have children I want to be a good father. I would like to be able to support my family in a way that we can live a comfortable life.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend? I would attend my sister's play. Though friends are important to me, family always comes first.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)? I would like to be able to pay for the education of those who cannot afford it. Education is what makes the difference between a first-world country and a third-world country.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned
building. When you get there you see a sign that says, "Danger: Do not enter! but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step? Try to convince them that risking your life without a good cause is not a wise decision nor is it noble.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do? Though she may be guilty for wrong doing against you on a different occasion, each individual wrongdoing should be viewed as seperate. I would stand by her and prove her innocent.

18. Which perception is more annoying to you, a person who thinks they're better than others because he/she did the "right" thing (he/she returned the 20 dollars the cashier mistakenly gave him/her as change) or a person who thinks he/she is superior because of circumstance( he/she has a lot of money and donated 10 thousand dollars to a charity, receiving praise from the media)? I would have to go with the first choice. While both are very annoying, the person returning money that was never theirs to begin with is much more annoying than a person giving that which is theirs.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.) Magic or not, all people should take the opportunity to help their fellow humans. I would call the fire department and then see what I could do to help, even if it meant putting myself in danger.
i love HP
i was wondering how do you get placed in a house i mean when???

I like that I am smart and can get good grades without really trying. It helps a lot in school, plus it will help me get a good job.

Please be courteous and objective to this topic and the diligent prefects who dedicate consideration to every member who wishes to participate. If you have any discrepancies regarding which house you have been placed in, please send an Owl/PM to the prefect who sorted you. They are usually more than willing to listen!

Please answer the questions as honestly as possible, and not according to which house you would like to be in. Also, kindly do not quote this post, answers only will suffice, or use copy/paste.

If you were sorted on the prior threads there is no reason to get sorted again. We do not offer re-sortings for any reason if you have been sorted once. Thank-you.

NOTE: If you already have a house you would like to be in, and if you find it impossible to answer these questions honestly without trying to land in that house that you already desire to be in, please DO NOT waste the Head Aurors time by taking this quiz. You are more than welcome to join any house that you like without taking the Sorting Hat Quiz. This quiz is for fun, and as it is for the joy of doing something Harry Potter related, please answer these questions honestly for an appraisal of what house you, yourself, would be placed in. Thank you.

Let the sorting ceremony begin!

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do? Try to answer the question the best I could since I probably already know the stuff anyway.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it? I save my allowence until I have enough

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks) I think he's kind and nice but not very bright and kind of narrow minded. He has a bit of a temper and sometimes can't control his emotions, but who can blame him, really??

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why? I think Ginny because she's part of a BIG family and doesn't have the spotlight all the time. She likes to think she's a diva but really she's just kind and loveable. Like me!

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do? Go get them of course! A friend in need is always a friend to help!

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why. I love my intellect, my friendliness, my face, and a lot of other things except... I don't like that when I get upset I can't always stop myself from spirelling downwards.

7. What qualities do you admire in others? I like people who can look at themselves in the mirror and instead of pointing out what's wrong with them can smile and think "Gosh, you're gorgeous".

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation? I would tell him I don't appreciate his negative feelings and accusations towards him and then walk away.

9. What are you afraid of and why? I'm not afraid of heights but I'm afraid of falling from heights. If I'm high up somewhere but stabilized and harnessed or whatever I'm fine but walking across a wobbly bridge over a canyon, GET ME OUT OF THERE!

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why. I guess I'm a bit proud of myself but for good reason. I don't feel bad about being self confident.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend? I'd support my sister in the play but give my deepest regrets to my friend. There'll be other parties.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)? As I stated above "Saving the Humans". We need to keep this planet habitable. Is that a word?

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step? I don't like unsafe situations and so I would walk away. If the friend pressured me I'd stop hanging around with them

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?
I would just carry on as usual-I would NEVER cheat.

You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?
Save up or ask for some help from my parents.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)
Well I think he is very brave and loyal and he would be a great friend but he gets into too much danger for me!(Even though that's the point of the series)

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?
Em I don't know! I'm most like Hermione apart from her know it all act!I would say Ginny because she is loyal and loving

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?
Go and help them.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.
I like the fact that I'm hardworking and friendly. I don't like the fact that I can be a perfectionist sometimes. Now and again it's not a bad thing but sometimes it's annoying! biggrin.gif

7. What qualities do you admire in others?
Friendliness, not being totally ignorant or selfish, being respectful and not dissmissing others because of the colour of their skin, religion etc-all the things that make a good person!

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
I'd explain to the boy very gently that I did not steal his toy and I would try and help him to calm down. Then, I'd apologize to his mother/father and say that there had been a mix up and that their child was mistaken. I'd then excuse myself and go on my way.

9. What are you afraid of and why?
I'm scared of human beings. Not the every day person, but the lunatics who are shooting, killing people just because of their skin colour, religion etc. That scares me.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.
I don't know! I can be a bit moany sometimes but so can all teenagers! lol!!

Nelson Mandella. He went to jail for his ideas and what he believed was right and I admire him greatly.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?
My sister's play. I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings by not going.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?
Tsunami Relief.(And I wouldn't go round boasting about it.)

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?
First of all, none of my friends are like that! If they were I'd tell them to forget it! I'm not about to go in an abandoned building that has danger signs on it! They are there for a reason!

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?
That's a hard one! I wouldn't like her for stealing but since she'd changed her ways I would go and stick up for her. If she went to jail, my consience would be nipping at me for years!

The very, very rich person who gives lots of money to charity and starts gloating about it and getting tons of credit! AAAAH!! mad.gif

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)
I would phone 999 straight away, then I go and see if they need any help and wait for the fire brigade. (I wouldn't go in the building though)

Thanks very much! XxX smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

QUOTE
Please be courteous and objective to this topic and the diligent prefects who dedicate consideration to every member who wishes to participate. If you have any discrepancies regarding which house you have been placed in, please send an Owl/PM to the prefect who sorted you. They are usually more than willing to listen!

Please answer the questions as honestly as possible, and not according to which house you would like to be in.

Thank you.

I will be sending you a PM shortly. Please check your inbox

potter0789
i wait till the end of the test, and ask my friend why she did it.

i earn it and then buy it.

i think that harry is an all around good person and i think that he lives with his sadness of his parents really well. he is also a true hero.

ginny i think i am most related to because she is down to earth, aggressive when it is needed, and an all around fun girl.

if that ever happened i would certainly go and help them unless i really need to be somewhere else like a wedding, a funeral, or the most important work meeting.

i think that my best three qualities are my hair, my sea green eyes, and my personality. whenever i meet someone i always let my personality shine through and thats why i have so many friends. everyone that i know always ahs always fell in love with either my hair, my eyes, or both. i think that the ost thing that i dislike about myself is that it is hard to get me out of a bad mood. my mom is a social worker so it is easy for her, but for everyone else it is really hard. one more thing that i like about myself is that i am way smart not to be conceited.

i think the qualities that i like in other people is veritablity and niceness.

sometimes you cant help how other people act. i would tell him straightfoward that i took nothing and tell the parents that they could check everything that i have. i would never take it to a physical level even if the little boy does.

i am afraid of not being successful in life. being successful is one of my long term goals in life and to not be scares me. i do not want to live paycheck to paycheck. i dont to tell my kids that there wont be any dinner tonight. this is a fear that i control and thats what scares me. that it is solely upon me.

sometimes i can get very angry. therfore i think that i suffer from wrath more than anything. im not an angry person, but when something or someone gets me angry i need alot to get me out of it.

being a doctor primarily a plastic surgeon has always struck me as fascinating and has been my dream since i was seven.

i admire my mom and she is a non-HP person. she is so inspirational. she came from absolute nothing to being a professional, marrying her first love love, and having two kids. she is simply my everything and someone i admire.

one of my ambitions in life is to do doctors without borders. i have always wanted to do it. it is one of my long-term goals, dreams, and wishes. the last ambition is to own greek-italian grill in manhattan. i have always loved cooking.

i would attend my sisters play because she is way more important. if my parents say it is ok to go and my sis is fine with it then i will go to friend's party.

i would give to all those organizations and maybe more. they are all important to me in different ways.

i am really not sure at all. i think that is a situation where i would have to actually be there.
i am adventurous though.

i would tell the police that she is innocent and give them the evidence that she is. i would tell her that if she is guilty the next time and i know it i would tell the police.

i think people that think that they are better than everyone else in menial situations such as that make me crazy.

i take out my phone and i call the police and tell them to bring the fire department and the ambulances. i would scream to the people in the building and tell them that help is coming.

HPfan4Ever
1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?

Ignore the cheat sheet and just answer the questions as best as I can. I would also most likely talk with the teacher after class about the test and question why there were questions we hadn't gone over and make sure the next test I read ahead in my book. I don't think I'd tell on my friend for cheating the first time, but I might bring it up in conversation and try to talk him/her out of doing it again. Then if they cheated the next test, I would notify the teacher.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?

I would come up with ways to raise money for it by possibly tutoring kids at school for a small fee or baking some kind of food and selling it...or I would just forget about it for the time being and ask for it for Christmas or my birthday.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)

Harry is a great person who is extremely heroic and cares deeply about his friends, who are like family to him. I feel bad for him sometimes, though, because he's always in the spotlight, which can be both a good and bad thing. He also seems very trustworthy and tends to befriend just about everyone, as long as they're nice to him in return.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?

I think I would most relate to Neville because he stands up for his friends even though he's a little worried of what will happen to him. He cares about others more than himself and puts them first. He also protects his friends from getting themselves into trouble or putting themselves in dangers way, even though that can, at times, get him into some tough situations.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?

I would definitely ask them exactly where they were and then leave to go pick them up, after grabbing some snacks and maybe a blanket if it's cold and they've been stranded a long time. Friends are extremely important to me and they come first, especially if they're stranded somewhere and need assistance.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.

What I like most about myself is that I can make friends quite easily and I get along with pretty much everyone...I also have friends from all different kinds of backgrounds and "cliques"..in other words I'm not just friends with a certain group of people. What I like least about myself is that I tend to become jealous of others a little too easily and constantly find myself thinking 'why can't I look like her' when I should really just be happy with who I am.

7. What qualities do you admire in others?

I admire trust above most things because being able to trust your friends is very important within the friendship itself. I also admire the ability to be optimistic, even in bad and negative situations because always taking a pessamistic view on things makes life much less exciting and also tends to make the situation worse.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?

I would get down to his level and make eye to eye contact, showing him that I'm at least willing to listen and talk things through with him. Then I would calmly tell him that I do not have his toy and ask him if he remembers when he last saw it. I would ask him if he wants me to help him search for it, then smile at the crowd and help the little boy look.

9. What are you afraid of and why?

I'm extremely afraid of public speaking. It's so difficult for me to get up in front of an entire class full of students and talk for 10-20 minutes about anything, even if I've practiced. I'm not sure exactly why I'm afraid of it...I'm perfectly talkative when I'm with friends or family and not shy at all around anyone. I just freeze when I'm put in the spotlight and know I'm being graded on what I say.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.

I think I suffer from greed the most (unfortunately). I'm an only child and my parents have always paid for pretty much anything and everything I've ever needed/wanted, as sad as that is to admit. Whenever I see someone with a cute shirt or an awesome cell phone, I feel like I need it too. I guess it's more of the fact that I feel like I need to 'fit in' with everyone else. I also just like feeling important and looking good to be completely honest.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why?

My dream job is to become a speech pathologist because I want to help children learn to speak better. I want to make their lives better by helping them become better at conveying what they want to say. I also love working with children and always have. I have a sister who is handicapped who also has a speech delay, and I'd like to help other children overcome this as much as possible.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?

I admire my mom more than anyone for so many reasons. She's such a great person and has truely tried to give me the best life as possible. I can always tell her or ask her anything and she's there to help me. She's also a very trustworthy person and a hardworker.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life?

One of my greatest ambitions in life is to finish college (all 7 years of it) and earn my masters degree. I also want to become a speech pathologist, as I said before, get married some time after I graduate college and start my career, and then have between 2-4 children. I'd also love to travel to Italy and England some day when and if I have the time/money to do so.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?

I would go to my sister's play because she'd only be in that particular play one time (most likely) and she's family...family always comes first. Plus, my friend would most likely be throwing a party at another time. I would appoligize to my friend for not being able to make it, and if it was a birthday party, go out and buy her a gift and drop it off at her house after the play.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?

I would devote myself to something having to do with orphans or abused children...most likely the big brothers, big sisters organization which is where I would become like a 'big sister' to a little girl or boy who needs someone to be there for them, kind of like a mentor. I might also volunteer time/money to a children's hospital.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?

I would obey the sign...I would definitly check it out if the sign wasn't there, but obviously it was put up for a reason, that reason being an unsterdy floor or something else dangerous. I would also advise my friend to stay out and come up with something else to do, like going to lunch or swimming.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?

I would prove she's innocent. If she's become a better person since before, she obviously learned at least a little bit from what she did wrong before...she could've even felt bad afterwards and still be holding it against herself. If I had the evidence to prove her innocence, I would definitely not let her be arrested for something she didn't do.

A person who thinks he/she is superior because of circumstance would be more 'annoying' to me. Doing the right thing would give most people the idea that they're better than others, at least for a split second, especially if that person never had the chance to do something like that before that specific incident. The whole media perspective in the second option is more annoying because it's like they were just donating the money to charity for media involvement, not just to do something good for someone else (even though that might not actually be the case).

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)

If I had my cell phone with me, I would immediately call for help. If not, I would run to the neighbors house and use their phone. Then while waiting for help, I would go see if I could do anything to help, such as possibly pull a child out of the house or anything...even just simply listen to see if I could hear voices. If people came running out of the house, I would go to them and try and keep them calm until an ambulance and firefighters arrived.

Do my best to answer the questions on my own.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it? save my money up, possibly tutor younger year students for money.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks) Harry is the Best! He is very cute, and very smart. Even though, he may not get as good marks as Herimone, he still has defeated Voldermort several times and has been victorious. I would hope to be as close as a friend as Herimone & Ron are to him. I would value him as a friend, but not go over the top.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why? Professor McGonagall because she is very wise and even though she is a teacher and uses her knowledge she also knows about the heart of a person and allows that to effect her decision. She can be strict, but she is also honest & caring. She is a brave woman & a "mother" to those students who may not have one.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do? I would tell them to sit tight & I would be on my way. Friends are the best thing to have and you should do whatever you can to help them so if it should happen to you, they will be there to return the favor.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why. Like most - My individuality, and my loving/friendly spirit, because of the trials I have gone threw in my life I am a strong person and treasure the ones I love and my friends. Like least - can be lazy at times, not very goo at studying.

7. What qualities do you admire in others? honesty, loyalty, funny, caring, smart, a easy going spirit, easy to get along with, helpful.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
I would try my hardest to show him that I did not steal it & I would try my best to help him find it.

9. What are you afraid of and why? afraid to loose those close to me because I have lost both my parents and several other family members while i was young. Family and Friends are very important and special everyone should treasure the ones you have and make sure they know how much they mean to you because you never know when they will taken from you.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why. Envy, because I envy all of the people who have their parents and have them to talk to and help and guide them, I lost my mother when I was 6 and my father at 14, I didnt have the chance to have them help and guide me through life and wish I could have them.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why? Travel Scout - Person who is hired by major traveling corporations to "check out" possible tours that they will end up including in their offers. Basically, I would be sent to different places and check out the attractions, hotels, restaurants, entertainment, then I would rate my experience at each one and include a report to my boss giving a in-depth report either giving my approval or declining that "the company" should pick up the tour. Then I would be off to a different location.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?

13. What are some of your ambitions in life? Have a happy family, to have someone who I love unconditionally and that he returns that love to me. Have a nice home and to be able to retire and not have to worry about money issues. To be able to help those who I care about and others as much as I can.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend? Well I would ask my sister if she is in the entire play or if her character is in a certain part of the play (like the end or beginning). I would then explain to my friend that as much as I would love to come to the party that my sister has a play that day and I would be attending it (blood is thicker than water). If my sister says that she is in a certain part of the play then I would definitely be there to see her performance and if I had extra time then I would try to go to my friends party.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)? Good question, but I try to help as much as I can, to a variety of causes, such as: AIDS relief and research, Endangered Species, Red Cross, PETA to name a few.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step? I would question my friend as to what is "really cool" in the building and see if it is really important to go in or not. I would also see if he has been in there himself or if he is taking someone elses word. Depending on his answer if i would venture into the building or not, if i did i would be very cautious and keep my eye out for anything dangerous.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do? I would come forward and provide my evidence to show she is innocent. People make mistakes in their lives and if they have changed there ways then that is what is important. Besides she is more likely to feel obligated to pay back what she took if you helped prove her true innocents.

18. Which perception is more annoying to you, a person who thinks they're better than others because he/she did the "right" thing (he/she returned the 20 dollars the cashier mistakenly gave him/her as change) or a person who thinks he/she is superior because of circumstance( he/she has a lot of money and donated 10 thousand dollars to a charity, receiving praise from the media)? the person who is superior because of their circumstance, just because they have the money and resources to donate thousands of dollars to a charity, they should also say "thanks" to the charity but decline special treatment from the media. If someone has the resources to donate they should because it is the right thing to do not because they want attention from it.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.) I would immediately call for help with my cell phone or the nearest phone if I didnt have my phone on me. And then I would see if there were anybody in the building and I would try to help those people/animals out.

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?
-Honestly no matter how good that friend is I would feel safer notifying the teacher.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?
-I would first get a job and try to earn some sort of money. To me that's a step up from begging.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)
-Harry, in my opinion, is very strong willed, intelligent, in more ways then one, very brave, stand up for himself and others, cares for his friends and is most generous to those he cares for. At times he seems rather confused, but I really don't blame him because he is trying to find out who he is, who he wants to become, and what he must do to stay alive. other than that I personally think he is quite the character and wouldn't mind going out and hanging out with him to see what he is like. He seems to be the kind of person who would do something odd.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?
-I would most likely say Luna. Luna is corky, a little insane, unique, and a hilarious and creative person. I've had a lot of people, including my friends and family, tell me that I can act weird at times, but I have that kinda of personality where I can make someone smile or laugh. Most of the people I know can vouch for me that I am a little odd, but I am a very creative individual.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?
-First I would call someone I know, such as a family member or a good friend, someone I trust. I would ask them for advice, see what they have to say. After that I would probably go and pick them up since that's what I would do, but I would take precuations just in case of trouble.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.
-I like that I am confident, soft-spoken, smart, and that I can make people or laugh 24/7. What I least like about myself is that I can annoy myself and others, and I am, at times, a little too sensitve and take things too seriously.

7. What qualities do you admire in others?
-Kindness, Love, freindship, someone who is willing to listen and who can sympathize and empathize.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
-I would try to sort things out with him. Talk to him and show him what kind of person I am. I would not try to fight him because then I would be sinking down to his level and that would get me nowwhere.

9. What are you afraid of and why?
-I am afraid of being lonely. I am a big comfort sort of person and I hate being alone. I always enjoy company and I don't want to lose that.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.
-Envy: I envy my friends and most of the people I look up to because I see what they have done in their great lives and I envy them for who they are.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why?
-My dream job would be to own a large Chocolatier because I love chocolate and I want to share that with others.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?
-My best friend, Michele. Having a friend, to me, is a ture treasure. She has been a great person and she is loving, kind, and she has done so many great things to help others out and to help me out when I need it. I admire her for who she s on the inside, not what she may become.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life?
-I want to raise money for the poor. There are so many people all across the world that need our love and support and even by giving someone a penny or even a piece of clothing can help them. I also am planning on writing several books, mainly on science-fiction or fantasy, since I enjoy those genre's.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?
-I would apoloze to my friend and attend my sisters party. Family is important to me, and I would feel more guilty not going to a sister's party then a friends.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?
-Humane Society.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?
-It never hurts to explore something new. It would depend on how I was feeling that day and plus I normally don't like breaking into places, even if it is abondoned. Although I love to discover cool sites and new places, in this instance I would have to decline.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?
-I don't even want to get into anything big so I wouldn't even try to prove anything. Even though she may have been a good person for a period of time, she stole something again and that's not setting a very good record on her part. I would just leave it alone, unless I was absolutely needed for some reason.

-Superior because of the circumstance. Yes, that person may be doing it for good or to help someone, but appearnces can be decieving and that person might just want to get noticed so they can get more money in the process, or become a celebrity, etc. I just can't stand it when people do things like that. sad.gif

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)
-Immediately call 911 and go try and help as best I can.

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?
-Try to ignore it, but glance over if I come across a hard question.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?
-Put it on hold until I can get the money

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)
-A loyal companion, however, he's a little too noble.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?
-Young Remus Lupin. Because he and I both enjoy books, but will join in an adventure if one pops up.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?
-Pull my shoes back on and get my two brooms.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.
-I like my resourcefulness. I dislike my shyness when it comes to new adults (children, I'm okay with).

7. What qualities do you admire in others?
-Those who carry themselves gracefully, but don't look down upon others.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
-I would say "I didn't take your toy." and walk away.

9. What are you afraid of and why?
-Death. I don't want to die...

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.
-Hmmm.... Probably greed (I hate to say so, but I think it may be true.) Whenever splitting something with my brother, I almost always take the one with more.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why?
-Pilot. When I was younger (12) I was taken out in a plane and the pilot let me turn it around. Ever since then, I've been hooked.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?
-My friend Steph. She's in a wheelchair, yet whether we're hiking through the bush or walking by a lake, she's always there, right beside you.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life?
-To write a decent book and have it published.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?
-My sisters play. I most likely promised her I'd go.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?
-Helping Children lead decent lives.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?
-Carefully go see.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?
-Leave her be.

-The second one.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)
-Pulll out my cell phone and dial 911.

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?
i would wonder why they're cheating in the first place, then why i didn't know about it. i wouldn't say anything but let them continue with the test while i completed mine

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?
i would save up for it and buy it. the price will probably go down a bit once i have the money saved up any way

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)
i like harry potter. he's a good guy. he's not as bright as hermione, but he's still a quick thinker. he turned out amazing when you think of how he was raised and all the things he's had to overcome.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?
i think i would say professor dumbledore, you know more than others think and don't always answer questions the most direct way. he's very mysterious and i like that, it's a quality i enjoy about myself, you always have people intrigued

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?
i would drop everything and race to go get them. if it's an hour away, i don't want them to be stranded alone any longer than absolutely necessary.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.
i like that i'm very versatile. i can fit in anywhere i choose to, if i do choose to. i don't like that i often choose not to fit in, but at the same time, i wouldn't have it any other way.

7. What qualities do you admire in others?
i admire honest, trustworthy people. i like people who are involved and not afraid to get their hands dirty, risk takers (when appropriate), but still know when to chill out

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
i would open my hands, step away from the kid, show everyone i don't have this kid's toy, and continue what ever i was doing.

9. What are you afraid of and why?
i'm afraid of the dark because you never know what's in it.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.
i think i would say pride. sometimes i'm too proud to say i'm sorry when i'm wrong, but i usually overcome this.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why?
i would want to be a children's book writer because i enjoy loosing myself in magical worlds where anything is possible, but i would also like to be many other things like a professional dancer, artist, activist, etc.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?
my mother, she's always been there for me and is one of the strongest people i know, weather she believes it or not.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life?
i want to make an impact on the world. i want, weather in a small way or on a larger scale, to change the way other society members think, that anything is possible and the sky is not the limit, nor are the stars.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?
well that depends, if my sister is in a play, she's probably having several showings so i would just catch another one so i can attend my friend's party. if not, then it depends on the part she got. if it's a smaller role, she may only be in the beginning of the play, then i could show up to the party fashionably late. by the way, parties don't usually end at ten, they get good by that time:)

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?
i currently work with a group that feeds ethiopians. my sponsored child's name is yadamawork woldie. i would like to go to africa and meet her and her family someday. i believe in the unlimited power of the sun and would like to help create and develop new ways to utilize solar power.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?
i would go with my friend but be careful.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?
i would prove that she was innocent to the authorities. people can change, they should not suffer for something they did not do just because they made mistakes in the past

18. Which perception is more annoying to you, a person who thinks they're better than others because he/she did the "right" thing (he/she returned the 20 dollars the cashier mistakenly gave him/her as change) or a person who thinks he/she is superior because of circumstance( he/she has a lot of money and donated 10 thousand dollars to a charity, receiving praise from the media)?
i don't like people who think they're better because of money, etc. i think they lack what others may have, like values (doing the "right" thing)

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)
i would run to the house, see if i could tell if anyone was inside. call the fire department right away, and help in any way possible (if there were people inside, i would try to help them)

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do? I would use the cheat-sheet with the friend.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it? Being that I have the tendency to sweet talk my parents, I'd probably suck up to them until they caved in, or else just whine and complain haha.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks) I think that Harry is a very brave person, but sometimes maybe too brave. He can make some pretty rash decisions, but all in all he's a pretty geunine guy.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why? I can probably relate most to Ginny because when she was younger she was very shy, much like myself when I was younger and like Ginny as I got older I came into my own and turned into a much more outgoing person.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do? I most likely would go to pick them up, but if I was low on gas I wouldn't hesistate to ask for a few dollars to spare. Out of my friends, I'm usually the one who is always driving anyway, so it wouldn't be something to unusual.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why. What I like most about myself is probably my sense of humor. I always make jokes and love to make people laugh. What I like least would probably be the fact that I can be very lazy haha. I always procrastinate on school work, or else just get too lazy and not do it at all.

7. What qualities do you admire in others? I like people who are very trustworthy and that you can get a good vibe from right off the bat. I also like people who can let loose and have a good time in any situation, and people who don't complain a lot.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation? In this kind of situation, I see myself as getting very angry and losing control, haha. I honestly would probably end up yelling at the little kid even in front of all the people because it doesn't take a lot to get me fired up, even from a child.

9. What are you afraid of and why? I'm most afraid of the unknown. If I ponder too much about the future and about life it tends to scare me quite a bit not knowing what will happen tomorrow, or next week, or next year.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why. I'd say I suffer most from envy. I can be a pretty jealous person. Whether it be in a relationship situation, or just if somebody has more money, or an item I have but a better one etc etc.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why? Ever since I was younger I've wanted to be a police officer. I'm going to school right now for Criminal Justice. I want to be a cop because I like the idea of helping out the public to make everything safer for people and to keep the bad guys locked up! :]

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why? I would say I probably most admire Hermione because she always stays true to herself. She knows who she is and she doesn't care to change that for anybody.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life? Hm.. I'd say to just live a long healthy life, someday have a family, a great career, and just be happy!

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend? I guess to me it'd depend on the relationship I'd have with my sister. Since in real life, I don't have one, I'm not too sure but I think I'd most likely go to the friend's party.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)? Uh oh.. hmm.. my answer wouldn't necessarily be "nothing I don't really care", but it'd be more like nothing because although all kinds of causes do need money, I also do too, and I'm not nearly rich enough to have money to spare for anything else but myself and my family.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step? I probably wouldn't go in. I'm a chicken and I wouldn't want to get hurt if there was a possibility of the floor caving in etc. If it was just a no trespassing sign it wouldn't phase me, but I don't like pain haha.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do? I definately wouldn't prove her innocence because I hate to admit it but I'm definately the kind of person to hold a grudge.

More annoying to me would be the rich person donating all the money. I hate always hearing about that kind of stuff.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.) I would probably stay far back and try to get the appropriate help for the situation. I wouldn't put myself in danger without knowing who the house even belonged to, or if anybody was even inside.

1. In the first three years of highschool I cheated occasionally (and got pretty good at it too!). But since then I decided not to do it anymore. I wanted to go to a certain school later and needed to have specific knowledge in several subjects so I figured cheating wouldn’t help me out in the long run. So the answer is: I will do the best I can.
2. Start saving every penny I can and wait till I’ve got enough money to buy it… Gosh, that’s boring isn’t it?
3. Harry Potter is on the one hand just an ordinary boy like anyone else. On the other hand he’s got a lot of things going against him (orphaned as a baby, difficult childhood, has to cope with loss during his life…). It would be easy for him to become bitter and turn to ‘the dark side’, but his choices for doing ‘the right thing’ makes him a character of courage and justice. That’s why I think he’s great!
4. Tonks; I think her crazyness and sense of humour are rare in the HP universe. So, despite her temporary mousey grey appearance in HBP, Tonks is the one I most relate to. I hope her being with Remus Lupin will result in a bit more laughter in HPDH.
5. An acquaintance… hmm, if this was for a friend I would jump in my car immediately to help. But what is an acquaintance? But since they’ve tried everyone and everything I would probably help them out anyway. Unless ofcourse the person calling is a known death-eater or someone else who has treated me or my family badly.
6. I like best about myself my sense of humour and the fact that I usually have a friendly/helpful nature. The thing I like least about myself is that I tend to leave ends open, which means I don’t always finish what I started and get busy on something new and/or more exciting.
7. Being able to finish what they started ofcourse, hahaha. And being loyal, true and honest are qualities I think are important.
8. I try to find one of his/her parents who are bound to be near since the kid is little. If that does not work I guess after explaining that it wasn’t me, I’ll start to ignore the kid and go about on my business as usual.
9. I am afraid something will happen to one of my 2 kids because they are my treasures and I love them more than anything in the world.
10. That’s easy: greed; I love a good meal and eating out. Also I can open a pack of crisps or candy and finish it at once. Fortunately I exercise and I don’t get fat at all so there’s no real harm done is there?
11. My dream job is testing computer games! I love to play, but I don’t have time enough because I work 5 days a week. So I’d love to be a computer game-tester!!
12. I admire Bill Clinton because he was very successful in the 8 years he’s been president of the USA. He’s done a great job economically which has improved the lives and financial status of a lot of people. Stimulating the economy makes sure people can look after themselves, which is more helpful than just giving money to poor people.
13. I’ve got a family I love and just got a new job which I (sorta) like wink.gif so no real ambitions there. Maybe I want to make a bit more money so I can start working 4 days a week for some extra spare time.
14. This depends on how important the play is to my sister I guess… On the other hand, I value a true friend better that a relative to which I have a crappy relationship.
OK, if I haven’t promised my sister I would be there I will try to go to the party and promise my sister I will be there the next time. If I have promised my sister I would come I will go to the play and visit the afterparty of my friend J
15. I alone am too small to solve the big problems of the world. I would enjoy committing myself to a smaller, local problem and being able to meet the people it involves. So, something like building a school in a third-world country or helping people to be able to grow their own crops so they can create a better life for themselves.
16. I’ve done this as a kid; in an old abandoned school. We played there almost every day of the summer holiday that year! One year later it was demolished L
17. I’ll prove her innocence but not before I have spoken to her about the stealing of five years ago. I want her to tell me to never do that again and then I would bail her out.
18. I guess the second option. But only if people donate because they want to be praised by the media. They’ve got 10 million on their bank accounts and give 10.000? That’s not more than a tip for them, they won’t even notice the money is gone but still want people to admire them!? YUCK!
19. First call the fire department and then go towards the house. If it’s too dangerous to go inside, I would try getting matrasses and pillows from people in neighbouring houses so if it’s necessary people can jump out the window without breaking their legs, necks etc.

I love Harry

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do? Try and convince my friend to give up cheating, it isnt worth it.

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it? Save my money, dont buy to many things in Hogsmead

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks) Harry Potter is an icon of the wizarding world. He is modest about it though. I would, if he were real, give him the respect that he deserves, but in a manner he woulod approve of. I wouldnt want to bother him and just admire all the time as some do at hogwarts.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why? I feel that i relate to Remus Lupin, this is because he treats Harry in a way no other person has, on a personal level and with respect. He helps Harry without giving it to him and forcing him to learn it. He gives Harry the confidence to start DA, and i think that is how i would be with Harry.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?Friends and Family come before anything in this world! Without them i am nothing, i would drop anything i was doing and by all means get there to help them.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why. What i like most about myself if my desire to not fail. I play college football, and i dont like to lose, its not a fear of losing or a fear of failure, its a drive to want to win and succeed. Not to show off my talents, more for pride. I like least is my laziness, like Ron for example, he and I relate in the sense that we would rather do alot of things that what we NEED to do.

7. What qualities do you admire in others? Pride, Honesty, Trust, and Respect.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?
I would help him find his toy, and if we didnt find it, i would buy him another toy.

9. What are you afraid of and why? I am afraid of losing my friends and family. they mean everything to me and wthout them i dont know what i would be.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.Pride, As i stated above, i like to succeed in what i do, not to show off my talents again, but more to have that sense of self accomplishment. But it is also a weakness.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why? An Engineer, my high school football coach is one and he has touched my life and many ways, also helping me to now play football in college.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why? my fahter, he works over 60 hours a week to give me the little things in life that arent necessary, but a luxury.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life? I hope that i can grow up to be a respectable person who is loved by their family and friends. Someone who is looked at with a positive sense of character.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend? I would go to the play, my friend will always have another party, but my sister is family, and if had been her friend and my football game, she would of gone to my game.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)? I would devote myself to the protection of this country and join the military. Without the military, none of the other organizations could exist.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step? I dont do scary abandoned buildings, so i wouldnt go in. The sign is just icing on the cake for me, and i would tell my friend that he cant make me go in there.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do? I would help her, whats a few dollars when its a persons life on the line.

The person who thinks that they have done right by giving back 20 dollars. The superior one didnt have a choice in the money they received at birth. its like harry, you think he wants to be praised for something he didnt mean to do? He would give anything back for his parents to be alive. its not his fault things happened that way.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.) Tell soeone to call for help, and i would try to find a safe area to enter the building to see if anyone was trapped or injured that i would be able to save.

Hmm... I wonder which answers are truth or fiction. You decide. rolleyes.gif

1. You are given a test at school that has questions that teacher hasn't covered yet. In the middle of the test you notice that your friend next to you has a cheat-sheet. The teacher doesn't notice. What do you do?

And I'm supposed to trust that my friend has a correct cheat sheet? If I don't know the answers, it's my fault for not studying extra. I'd look at the cheat sheet, give the answers I agree with according to my hunches, and make my answers viewable to others. I'd purposefully give the wrong answer, wait for someone to copy me, then write in the correct answer. Teaches them for trusting me...

2. You want something really cool from Diagon Alley, but it's VERY expensive. How do you get it?

If I don't have the money, I'll save up for it from birthday and holiday money; I'll probably save money as well by skipping meals so I'll have enough money to buy the cool thing.

3. What do you think of Harry Potter? (the person, not the series- please refrain from commenting on his looks)

He's mediocre, and helped out by his friends a lot — I want him to triumph over Voldemort, but his angstifying nature is a bit annoying. I understand it, but he needs to mature. His girl troubles are just laughable.

4. Outside of Harry, Ron, or Hermione, what character do you most relate to and why?

Draco Malfoy, since I'm a sarcastic, snarky, somewhat spoiled brat who likes getting his way and am mostly talk and not action.

5. You have just returned home from a long day's work when an acquaintance calls you and explains that they are stranded on a back road an hour drive from town and they need you to pick them up. They've already tried everyone else and you are their only means of getting back. What do you do?

This is hypothetical, as I don't drive, but if I did, I'd ignore that person. If it was a friend rather than an acquaintance, I'd do it, but I'm sick of giving all of my energy and effort to get nothing in return. Call me a cynic.

6. What do you like most about yourself? Like Least about yourself? Please explain why.

I'm not sure what I like — I used to be intelligent and creative; now I'm not. I used to be loyal to my friends, compassionate, kind, altruistic, naïve, sheltered, and a master of façades, acting like a chameleon so that I'd act how people expected me to act, not how I actually was, and never giving out personal information or revealing my true self... I have trust issues. But, now I'm more corrupted — my pride has grown, I'm more selfish, and I still hide myself. I suppose all the qualities I would like in myself are now gone — and those I like least are now foremost. I dislike that I sabotage myself somewhat — my self-hatred has increased to the level that I have been quitting things I enjoy, burning and ripping apart books I love, ripping and tearing apart art I've made that I was proud of, saying nasty things to get my friends to hate me because I expect they will eventually, so I might as well be the cause rather than the passive recipient...

7. What qualities do you admire in others?

I admire (and envy) the ability to be open and carefree, to have many friends, to be able to be naïve and sheltered. To be able to trust others. To be loyal, good with words, friendly, open ... to not have to keep running and hiding all the time.

8. A little kid accuses you, in front of a whole crowd people, of stealing his toy which you did not do. You are twice his size, but he won't back off. How do you handle this situation?

Since I didn't do it, I'd likely start getting snarky and say something nasty in a horrible tone that dies down to a whisper at the end so that only he can hear it.

9. What are you afraid of and why?

Revealing myself, being honest about myself to others, letting others down, not living up to expectations and responsibilities.

10. Pick one of the seven sins (greed, envy, wrath, lust [err okay exclude this one], sloth, gluttony, pride) that you suffer from most. Explain why.

I'm greedy for books and knowledge, envious of others, wrathful at times, not going into lust... a bit lazy sometimes, but the one I suffer most from is pride. I used to be altruistic and genuinely liked helping others, but once people stopped correcting me and more started looking up to and validating me, I grew more prideful and less humble, and desired to do things my own way. Somewhat like Sauron from LotR.

11. What is your real life, non-HP related, dream job and why?

Linguist and anthropologist, studying ancient manuscripts and dead languages.

12. Name ONE non-HP person you admire and why?

Mahatma Gandhi, for his humility.

13. What are some of your ambitions in life?

To accomplish something extraordinary, to be famous for good reasons, to write a good book or pieces of music, to be loved, to learn to trust people.

14. Your friend is throwing an awesome party, but your sister's play is on the same day. Your sister's play starts at 7 PM and your friend's bash starts at the same time. Both events end at 10 PM. It is impossible to attend one and then the other. Which one do you attend?

This is assuming that I have friends. In real life, I'd be too sick to attend either. However, I would hypothetically go to the friend's party — I don't have a sister, but a twin brother, and he loathes me and would be glad not to have me attend his play if he were in one.

15. What cause would you devote yourself to (e.g. Save the Whales, Tsunami Relief, Humane Society, nothing I don't really care, Give lots of money and tell everyone so I get lots of credit.)?

Environmental — i.e. cleaner air, cleaner water, etc. Also for saving trees, and paying for poor students in Mexico and Latin America to go to school — I've done all of those before.

16. A friend of yours tells you that there is some really cool stuff in an old abandoned building. When you get there you see a sign that "Danger: Do not enter!", but the building doesn't look dangerous. There is nobody around to see you, and your friend wants to check it out. What's your next step?

I'd go in and check it out before I let my friend enter — it might be dangerous.

17. Five years ago a girl stole some money from you and she never got in trouble for it. Since then, she has become a much better person. Recently she has been arrested for stealing, but you can prove that she is innocent. What do you do?

I'd help her prove her innocence, though I might hold a grudge if she had stole more than $50 from me.

Because of circumstance; the latter.

19. You're heading down a street when you smell smoke- A house is on fire! What do you do? (You cannot use magic, as this is supposed to be a real-life scenario.)

Find a phone and call it in.
