fave: DH. loved the ending. Rowling’s really talented. every character was given justice, especially Snape.. I’ve always idolized that guy, though he’s a bit cruel, but still..
least fave: HBP. it ended on a sad note. I couldn’t easily get over Dumbledore’s death, and I was sympathetic to Draco.. poor kid.. it was also the book where readers start to realize how serious this voldy business is, and how bitter & unpredictable the ending could be..

probably in HBP. Harry finally got over his crush on Cho, Hermione finally recognized her feelings for Ron, and Ron, well, he was dating and stuff. also Harry showed how responsible he is being quidditch captain..

uhm, Ginny, I think. coz she’s cool and smart. a great witch too.

Prisoner of Azkaban, because it is there we meet my two favourite characters: Remus and Sirius.

The fifth. It is a big turning point in the whole HP series, because it is right after the rebirth of Voldemort, and they have to take a stand. They are confronted with death (R.I.P. Padfoot) and war is declared at the end of the novel. It seems to me that in the other books the trio only continues to evolve by the choices and actions they did in the Order of the Phoenix.

I think that they are most mature in Deathly Hallows because Ron matures enough to actually act normalish with Hermione, who he likes. And Harry, well, he knwos that he has to "die" and he doesn't back away from it. he accepts the fact which shows a lot of maturity.
