Okay, I guess it was a bad idea to even consider not going on with the story… I can see you all want me to continue it, so I will… I decided to write this chapter as an extra chapter and put it in here – most as a ‘good-bye’ – and then I’ll post the next ‘part’ of the story in another thread. I mean, it’s not 7th year anymore, but it will be called the same, just to make things a bit easier. If you don't understand what I just wrote feel free to ask questions in my feedback thread. There will probably go some days before it will be up- the new part I mean- , but you can take a look at my new fic in the meantime. I guarantee you; it’s nothing near something you have red before. Take a look at it
Now, Enjoy the last part of the ‘school’- part of my story. There’s nothing more Hogwarts after this.

The marauders had managed to get a compartment for themselves the next day on the way home. None of them were speaking; they all knew how much they would miss the castle and everything that had happened there.
“Man, this is really depressing.” Sirius said and let his head hit the window.
“Yeah…” James gave him right.
They studied the castle as it grew smaller and smaller in the horizon.
Peter got up and was on his way out.
“Where are you going Wormtail?” Remus asked.
“Toilet.” Peter said and went out.
The others sat back again in silence. James lay down at the free place that had been after Peter walked out with his hands behind his head.
The door to the compartment slid open and someone walked inside. James didn’t want to bother himself by looking up.
“Why do you all look so depressing?” A girl asked asked.
James lifted his head and saw Tess in the door.
“If you haven’t noticed,” Sirius said. “We’re leaving Hogwarts, and won’t probably ever come back.”
Tess looked at Sirius. “Yes, but that’s not a good reason to be that sad. Especially not you who’s always smiling.”
Sirius tried to smile as Tess sat down beside him. James let his head fall back at the seat. He closed his eyes and signed out loud. Sirius, Remus and Tess were talking but James did not listen.
After half an hour the door slid open once more.
“Oh, so it’s here you’re hiding. We have been looking for you.”
This time James didn’t need to look, to recognize the girl talking; it was Lily. He smiled.
“Why are you smiling so wide?” Lily’s voice was heard very close to his ear.
James opened his eyes and turned his head so he was inches away from Lily. She smiled at him.
“You.” He said and kissed her.
He sat up to make room for Lily and Wendy.
“Are you enjoying the last trip at the Hogwarts express?” Remus asked.
“Yeah. But it’s actually sad.” Wendy said.
Peter returned to the compartment and they all spend the rest of the journey in there with the girls.
When the train began to slow down the girls went back to get their luggage. James looked out the window and saw his parents stand and wait for him. He smiled.
As James was hugging his mother he looked around. Lily was talking to her mother and gave her a hug. Sirius was kissing Maja, and Tess was looking at them. Remus and Wendy’s parents were talking to each other while their children were about to say goodbye to each other. Peter was being hugged by his mother too.
The rest of the seventh years were hugging each other, some of them were crying.
“Should we go now, dear?” Helena asked James.
“Sure, just go. I’ll be with you in a minute.” James said and walked over to Lily, whose mother had also left the platform.
“I’m going to miss you.” James said and gave her a hug.
“I’ll be with you in about four days.” Lily said.
“Yeah, but I’ll still miss you every second.”
“Don’t do that. Enjoy the time you have with you parents.”
James bent a little down and kissed Lily softly.
“Bye.” He said and gave her a last hug.
“Bye.”
James found Sirius and together they apparated back to James parents who already were home with his trunk. James quickly went to his room and sent Lily an owl, just to say that he already missed her.
Then he and Sirius went down to the kitchen and sat by the table with his father who was reading the Daily Prophet. His mother was about to make some dinner for them and the radio was on.
“I really appreciate that you let me stay here until I get my own place.” Sirius said when Helena placed the food at the table.
“You stay as long as you want to. We love having you around.” Helena said with her one hand at Sirius’s shoulder.
“You and James are the only things that keep us young.” Jonathan said.
“Well, thanks anyways.”
They both smiled at Sirius.
“Will we see any of your other friends this summer?” Helena asked and looked at James.
Sirius was about to speak, but James kicked him under the table.
“I don’t know. Remus has some studying to do before he wants to start in the ministry.” James said. “And Peter needs to relax a little bit.”
“What about Lily?” Jonathan asked.
James blushed slightly but hoped his parents didn’t see. “I don’t know. I haven’t really talked to her about that.”
Jonathan looked at James over his glasses. “Aha...”
James looked down at his plate and began eating; he noticed that Sirius was smiling.

The ride home for Lily was very relaxing. Her mother drove the car and kept talking about her sister’s wedding and how everything was about to happen in two days.
“We’re here.” Lily’s mother woke her up.
“Okay.”
Lily went inside, the house was almost empty.
“Hi Petunia.” Lily said and smiled at her sister.
“Hey. I just came down here to tell you not to show any… THINGS at my wedding. I have not told Vernon about you and what you do, so act normal.”
Lily sighed. Of course Petunia had only come down to tell her that. Something Lily thought that the reason for Petunia hating Lily and her skills was that she didn’t have any herself.
“No, no. I would not dream of ruin your big day.” Lily just said and tried smiled.
“Good. Didn’t think so either.” Then Petunia stormed of to her own room.
“I’ll go unpack, mum.” Lily called.
She walked through the kitchen and opened her door into her room. How she had missed it. Her brown walls were filled with old posters and her bed was as fine as it had been when she left at Christmas. She started to unpack all her clothes and stuff, she had brought. She found a picture in her trunk and hung it up at the wall with four pins. Perfect!
She looked up as she heard something tapping on her window. It was an owl. She went over to open up for it. She recognized it as James’s.
“Hi Harald. Is James writing, huh?”
Harald hooted.
Lily
I’ve just got home, and I miss you already. I was thinking if I could come to your house and get you after the wedding. After all, they all say that in times like these is it not safe to go out alone, so wouldn’t that be the most wisely?
Love you, James. Lily got some paper and sat down at her table and began to write a letter back.
Hi James.
I miss you too. And I would love you to come and get me! I red about s smaller another attack that happened last night, so you’re right, it is for the best.
Hope to see you soon.
Love, Lily.Feedback
