Hey. Next chapter's up. It's the date biggrin.gif

The next day Lily got more and more nervous and excited for every minute. She kept thinking where she and James were going, and he wouldn’t tell her.
“Just wait and see.” He kept saying when she asked, and then he would walk away so she could not ask him anymore.
Lily had tried to make some homework with Tess and Wendy, but she had a hard time concentrating and gave up at last. And when Lily had given up, the other two did too. They started talking instead, and when t was 6 o’clock Lily returned to the dorm to get ready.
James was not there, so Lily had the whole place to herself. Lily found a dark green skirt she had gotten at the last trip to Hogsmeade. James had thought it looked wonderful, but he had not seen her in it. She found a black top with green edges and buttons in the front, and that was almost it. She just needed a necklace.
At 7 James knocked on the door to her room.
“Yeah?” She called through the door.
“Are you ready?” He asked.
“Two seconds…” Lily picked up the necklace James had given her for Christmas and put it on.
She walked out the door and looked at James. He smiled wide and Lily noticed hat he had combed his hair so it was not as ‘windblown’ as it used to be and he smelled nicely of aftershave. He too wore some normal clothes, he had a pair of jeans and the T-shirt Lily had given him for his birthday.
“You look amazing.” He said.
“You too.” Lily replied.
James grabbed her hand and kissed her quickly at the cheek.
“Come on.” James led Lily out the portraithole and down the corridor.
Lily was very surprised when they stopped in front of a bare wall. James started walk backward and forwards in front of it, and suddenly a door appeared. He grabbed Lily’s hand again and opened the door and walk inside the unknown room.
Lily was speechless. The room was little and the light inside came from the candlelights at the table and the once that hang on the wall. The walls were covered in a red material and so was the floor. In the middle of the room was a single round, dark brown table with two chairs.
“It’s gorgeous!” Lily said.
“Yeah, isn’t it? Here sit.” James had pulled a chair out and wanted Lily to sit there.
She sat down and James pushed the chair into the table. He himself sat across Lily.
“What is this room?” Lily asked.
“It’s a room that becomes what you need it to be.”
“How did you know about it?”
“First year, we made some trouble where we needed some help and the room opened itself.”
Lily looked at her plate. “There’re no waiters, how do we get anything?”
James picked up the menu and red. “We just need to say to our plate what we want and I guess it’ll appear.”
It was the most romantic evening Lily had ever experienced. She and James had eaten a fantastic dinner in the room and were back in the dorm ten minutes past twelve. They kissed good night, and then suddenly Lily noticed that James had carried her into her bed. The kisses were more than just a good night kiss. Lily was very aware of the situation, and suddenly she knew.
Lily took hold of the edge of James t-shirt and pulled it off him, so they broke apart.
James looked her deep into the eyes. “Are you sure about this?” He asked.
She nodded slightly. “Yeah.” She said in a very low whisper, and kissed him even more passionate.
James slowly unbuttoned her top and she felt her own skin brush against James’s…

“So, where were you?” Wendy asked the next morning.
Lily looked up from her eggs and bacon. “I actually don’t know.” She said after a couple of silent seconds.
“You don’t know?” Tess asked.
“Well, it was in some room I have never seen at Hogwarts. Very romantic. We ate dinner and had the most perfect time.” Lily said and sighed a little dreamy.
“James Potter, romantic?” Tess couldn’t stop herself laughing a little bit.
“Yeah…” Lily said and nodded. She stuck to the eggs without really notice them. Her head was resting in her on hand, a little dreamy look in her eyes and a weak smile on her lips.
Wendy looked at Lily. “Lily, what’s up with you?” She asked. “You seam a little… absent-minded.”
“I do?”
“Yea you do. Is there anything wrong?” Tess asked this time.
Lily looked up at her two best friends and saw how they both looked at her with concern and curiosity. She couldn’t stop her lips from curl a bit into a smile.
“Well, do you really want to know?”
Lily really wanted to tell them and at some point she didn’t. All the three friends had told each other everything since they met on their first night in the girl’s dorm.
“Yes.” Both Tess and Wendy said.
“Well if you insist.” Lily said and smiled a little. “James and I took our relationship a little further last night.”
“Yooou…?” Wendy asked slowly because she didn’t get it.
Tess sighed, but Wendy still had a confused expression.
“We did it!” Lily exclaimed with a low, but excited voice.
Both Tess and Wendy looked at Lily with big eyes. Then suddenly they began giggling.
“You didn’t!” Tess grinned and smiled at her.
“Oh yes we did.”
“Lily!” Wendy giggled and the two others joined her.
“So that is why James is so happy today.” Tess said and pointed with her thumb at James, who in the same second came walking through the doors into the Great Hall.
Lily looked at James. She smiled. “Perhaps.”
James looked up and Lily caught his gaze. He smiled and got up and walked over to Lily.
“Morning.” He said and kissed her and sat down next to her. “You left before I even woke up.”
“I wanted to let you sleep. You look so peaceful when you’re sleeping.”
James uttered snort. “Me, peaceful? You must be joking. I’m everything but peaceful.”
“I know. That’s why I let you sleep… I don’t see the peaceful side of you at other times.”
“Ha, ha.” James said sarcastic. “So I’m just a troublemaker?” He asked the others.
“Umm duh!” Tess said. “You and Sirius are the worst pranksters at Hogwarts in the whole history.”
“And we’re very proud of it.” James said made his most serious expression.
Lily kissed James at the cheek.
“Well, we’re going to Charms. See you.” Wendy said, and she walked away with Tess.
James looked at his watch. “There’s ten minutes to class starts.” He muttered, and then looked at Lily and smiled. “I had a great time last night.”
“Me too. I really enjoyed every moment.”
“Every?” James’s eyes had a small twinkle.
“Yeah…” Lily smiled at James with a smile that shinned of being in love.

Through the next couple of weeks every seventh year began to prepare for the upcoming NEWTs. There was not a single student who didn’t spend at least two hours a reading or studying for some exam. Even though James and Sirius were very relaxed about the exams, they prepared as the other seven-years.
“This is so BORING!” Sirius complained at let his head hit the top of the charms book.
“I know.” James said and turned a leaf in his book. “I just can’t get this one to work.” James said and waved with his wand at another book.
“Ask Lily. She’s the best in the class at charms.”
“I won’t ask my own girlfriend how to perform a simple Protean charm.” James gave his book another violently whack, and accidentally sat it on fire.
“You seriously need help, mate.” Sirius said and closed his eyes. “Even I can do that one.”
James leaned back in the chair and started to make a crumbled paper flying around in the air.
“Sirius…?” James began.
Sirius kept his eyes closed but muttered a yes. He knew when James used his real name; he wanted to talk about something.
“When you and Tess first… well, first time you-”
“Yeah I get it.” Sirius cut him of, but not impatiently.
“Did you… did you feel that your relationship made more sense after that? I mean, not like it was all about that, but you… I can’t explain it. There’s just some thing different. Did you feel that too?”
Sirius opened his eyes. He looked at James in a thinking way. “I don’t know” He finally said. “I have never really thought of Tess’s and mine relationship as that serious. We just did it, and that was it. You know how I am at that point.”
“What do you mean? Are you not into her or what?”
“Of course I’m into her. It’s just… It doesn’t feel like something that will last forever.”
James was very surprised by this, but wondered why he didn’t know that. He made his paper do a somersault and landed it on top of I third years’ head.
“Then why are you wasting your time?” James asked very honest and looked at Sirius.
Sirius looked at him as he was being asked the dumbest question in his whole life.
“Well, I… I don’t know.” Sirius said very depressed.
He sat for 5 minutes and looked into his book without really noticing it. Suddenly he got up, packed his books and walked away without saying one word to James.
“Padfoot…?”
After one hour James walked back to the head dorm. When he walked in Lily sat at the table with her arms around Tess and Wendy. She looked sad.
“What’s up?” James asked.
Lily and Wendy looked up at James; they had not heard him coming in. Lily got up and walked over to James.
“Have you not talked to Sirius?” She asked.
“No?”
“Well, he came over to Tess, here half an hour ago. He was very weird and said something about time and wasting it…” Lily looked quickly at Tess again. “He broke up with her.”
“What?” James asked. He had heard what Lily said, but just couldn’t believe it.
“Yeah. And then he walked away. Humming!”
James stomach suddenly began hurting and it was like something tried to get out of him.
“I got to go.” He said and almost ran out of the portraithole.
He headed towards the Gryffindor tower.
There were filled with students, but none of them were Sirius. James ran up the stairs to the seven years dorm. Inside it Sirius and Remus were playing with a Fanged Frisbee and Peter doing homework. They didn’t hear James enter and kept playing.
“Padfoot!” James said sharply and Sirius looked at him. “A word, please?”
“Sure…” Sirius said and walked after James out in the corridors.
“Why did you do that?” James asked when they were alone.
“Did what?”
“Brake up with Tess.”
“I don’t know. You just made me realise that I actually was wasting my time. You were right.”
“What?! You broke up with Tess because of me?”
“No… well, sort of. If you had not told me, I would never have realised all the things I did and then done it.”
James looked at him. “So I’m the reason that you broke up with her. Okay! But shouldn’t you be depressed now or something?”
“Why? I’m free now. I can make out with different girls again and think of other girls than Tess. Believe me. I loved the time I spend with Tess. But it was just time to move on, try something new.”
“Hmm okay. But I think you should go talk to her. She’s really depressed you know.”
“Since when have I started talking to girls about feelings and stuff like that?” Sirius asked with raised eyebrows.
James thought for minute. “Never.”
“And besides all that; Tess will be making out with a new boy in the corridors within two weeks, trust me.” Sirius said.
“All right… If you’re happy, I can’t say anything.”
“That’s right. Now go and find your own girl.” Sirius winked at James.
“You come by later, right?” James asked.
“Sure.” Sirius said and went inside the Gryffindor common room again.

“I love these books.” Remus said and looked through one book from the bookshelves in the Head Dorm. It was later in the evening and the boys had the head dorm for themselves.
“Take it with you.” James said and wrote something on a paper.
Remus went over to the couch to sit and began reading the book.
“So Padfoot, who are you now going to go for? Now that you’re single.” James asked Sirius.
Sirius looked into the ceiling. “I don’t know… I have always fancied Ruth from Ravenclaw.”
“But think about next time you’re going for I girl that it’s not going to be like with Tess.”
“Well, I’m going to enjoy my life now. I have to be with a couple of new girls.”
Remus threw the book away at the floor. “I can’t concentrate!” He exclaimed.
“Why?” James asked.
“Because of you!”
“Me?” James asked again
“Yeah. You, Padfoot and Tess. Mostly you. ”
“It’s my entire fault now?”
“Yeah. I just can’t believe you made him brake up with Tess.”
“You WHAT?”
All the boys looked up and saw Lily in the doorway to the bathroom. They thought they were alone, but Lily had been in the bathroom all the time.
“You made Sirius brake up with Tess?”
“Well…” James began. “I didn’t… It was just sort of-”
“So it was you.”
“We better take of.” Sirius whispered and started walking towards the portraithole.
“Sirius!” Lily shouted.
“Yeah?”
“What did James tell you that made you brake up with Tess?”
Sirius looked down. “He just sort of put things in perspective for me.” Sirius stopped but after a piercing look from Lily he continued. “He just made me realise that it was not going anywhere with Tess and I should try something new.”
Lily’s eyes were shinning with anger and looking at James. “You can go now.” She said to Sirius, Remus and Peter, without taking her eyes of James. They hurried out of the portraithole and left James alone with a very angry Lily.
“Why, James? Why?”
“I just asked him a question and he started to self-oscillation.”
“You don’t have any idea of what you have done have you? You made your best friend brake up with his girlfriend! YOU did. I can’t believe I thought you had changed. How could you? HOW COULD YOU? He didn’t even take the decision himself!”
“Lily, that-”
“And this isn’t even about Tess and Sirius! James is this, what you think about every relationship? Is that the way our relationship is heading?”
“No, Lily I-”
“You just got what you wanted and then that was it.”
“No! Lily it’s not-”
“You know what?” Lily said and shook her head with tears in her eyes. “I thought you had grown. I guess I was wrong. I’m going. I just can’t be in the same room as the one who doesn’t even want to be in the relationship he’s in.”
“Lily, how did you come to that conclusion?” James asked and had actually no idea how Lily could think that.
Lily stormed into her room and came out of the door again a minute after with her nightdress and toothbrush. “I guess I see you around!”
“Lily where-?” James tried to ask, but the portraithole had slammed before he was finished.

Hey smile.gif So here's the next chapter.

James didn’t sleep that night; he sat and stared out of the window. At five in the morning he decided to get up. He walked over to the door to Lily’s bedroom and looked inside. He kind of hoped that Lily had come back some time in the night without he had heard her coming, but there was just him in the Head Dorm. He walked in there. Her room was so clean compared too his own, nevertheless the closet was open and some of Lily’s school robes lay on the floor together with some tops and other skirts. It was probably because of the hurry she walked out with only hours ago; it felt like years instead. James bent down and picked a top up. It was white with deep red dots. He stroked it softly and put it up t his head. It smelled like Lily. He slowly folded it together and put it back in the closet. James looked at her table next to her bed. Along with her watch was a picture of him and Lily together. It was a picture from the Yule ball. Lily looked great in her green dress and the curls in her hair, and she held on to James hand. Both of them smiled and from time to time sent each other smiles. They were in love; it was so obvious on the picture.
James shook his head. He had to talk to Lily. He walked out the room again.
He got took a shower and headed towards the Gryffindor tower. He went up to the seven years boys’ dorm and woke them all up.
“Prongs do you know what time it is?” Sirius asked very sleepy.
“Yeah. About half past 6. Bud it doesn’t matter. Did Lily come back here last night after you?”
“I don’t know. We didn’t go straight back here after leaving you.”
James tumbled down at the floor with his back at the door.
Remus sat up in his bed. “What happened after we left?”
“I don’t know. She started yelling at me, then left and didn’t come back.”
“Why didn’t you follow her, stupid?” Sirius asked
James was stunned. “I…I didn’t-”
“Didn’t you think of it?” Remus asked.
“Well I…Ah, forget it!” James said and walked down to the common room.
Stupid friends he had! They had to make him feel better about his actions, not worse.
He sat with the back at the wall besides the door to the girls’ dorm. He would wait for Lily. Then talk to her when she came out. He would explain everything to her. He had no idea what he would say, but he had to tell her something. But what if she wouldn’t let him? Lily was very stubborn, and it was a miracle if she even would look at him.
James had almost fallen asleep, when he heard students come down the stairs to the common room.
James looked up and saw two girls come out, but none of them were Lily.
“Hi James.” The first one said.
James looked up at the girl named Lina. “Oh, Hey.”
Lina sat on squat in front of James. “Have you and Lily broken up?” She asked and put her one hand on James’s shoulder.
James looked at it, and then he got up. “No, I just need to talk to her.”
“I don’t think she’ll be down right away.”
“I’ll wait.” James said. “I just need to talk to her.”
“Oh, okay.” Lina was disappointed. “But, we’ll se you around right.” And then she left.
More girls came down, but Lily still didn’t come. When there were ten minutes to class, James stopped a fourth year girl and asked her to get Lily.
“But don’t say who it is.” James called as the girl went upstairs.
Two minutes after Lily came down in company with Tess and Wendy. Both Lily and Tess ignored James, Wendy just looked down and avoided James gaze.
“Lily?” James tried but she didn’t stop. James ran up and stood in front of the three girls. “Lily, please talk to me.”
Lily looked up at him. James could se she had been crying and he almost self began, but he pulled himself together before he started.
It was like Lily looked right through him. She just walked on.
“Lily?” James tried once more.
Lily didn’t turn around, but Tess did. She sent him a hateful gaze and then turned around again.
Of course! Why had he been so stupid? Tess was of course mad at him too. He was not really surprised that Lily was mad at him, but that Tess was hadn’t he foreseen. Lily had obvious told what he had done, and probably made it sound much worse than it was, and now all the girls had turned their back on him.
He let his head hit the wall and closed his eyes. “STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!” He hit the head at the wall over and over again.

Hey.
I'm in kind of a hurry, so let's just skip to the story biggrin.gif

62
The next couple of days Lily slept with the girls in the Gryffindor tower. James had tried to come around her when she was alone, but it didn’t seam that she ever was. Wednesday Wendy had come over to James and told that Lily would be doing the patrolling of the corridors with her and Tess that night. That had hurt James.
James was on the way up to send an own home, when he saw some auburn hair round the corner. Lily! James ran after her. He caught up with her and touched her shoulder with his one hand. She turned around, and looked at him. She was about to turn around again and walk away.
“Lily, please!” He begged. He could not bear to so close her, and yet so far. “Let me tell you what happened.”
Lily kept looking at him, and slowly some tears grew bigger in the corners of her eyes.
James looked away. “Lily, please don’t cry. You also make me want to. Just let me tell you.”
He grabbed her hands. Lily pulled them back.
“James, stop. I gave you a chance, and you blew it. I knew you could be in a relationship and behave, but what you did… I can’t see what a good excuse can be. I like being with you, but if you just wanted to be with me to you got what you wanted, then there’s no more. It hurt, but that’s just the way it is.”
Lily turned around to leave again, but Jams grabbed her one wrist and she turned around, looking at him.
“Just hear me out! You’ve misunderstood it all. The only thing I want is you! That has been like that for year; why would that ever change?”
Lily looked at him for some time. She didn’t turn to leave, so James was sure she would listen to what he had to say. He took her hands in his own.
“What happened between Tess and Sirius has nothing to do with us. You misunderstood it all. I just asked if his relationship meant something to him, because I had just realised something about us. I just asked if he really cared about Tess; if it was serious, if he wanted to be with her. Like I care about you. Like I’m serious about you. Like I want to be with you. I asked him all this because I had just realised that I… I love you Lily. I really do.”
James looked at Lily. He had said what he wanted to, and she had let him without running away. Now she just stood and looked at him with tears in her eyes. James was not sure why. She blinked and a tear fell from her one eye.
James didn’t know what made him do it, but suddenly he bent down and kissed her. Surprisingly Lily didn’t pull away, and she kissed him back. James felt it had been years since their lips ad meet last, and it was way too quickly over.
As James opened his eyes again Lily looked up at him. James tried to read her gaze, but her face didn’t show anything as it used to be.
“You really love me?” She asked.
James nodded. “More tan anything.”
Suddenly Lily smiled. “I love you too.” She said.
James’s heart skipped a beat. James kissed Lily softly and gave her a hug when they broke apart.
“I’ve missed you so much.” James said.
“I’ve missed you too.” Lily said very tearful.
They broke apart and James looked at Lily. “Sweetie, you can stop crying now.” He said.
“I just can’t believe I was mad at you for loving me.” She said and tried to smile through the tears.
“Don’t worry about that.” He said and stroked her beautiful hair. “I should have told you about what I said to Sirius, rather than you heard it and misunderstood it. It’s me who should be sorry.”
Lily gave James another hug.
They went back to the head dorm together and after that Lily went to the Gryffindor tower to tell the other girls that she and James were on speaking terms again. Lily also explained the situation to Tess, and none of them were mad at James anymore.
James hoped that Sirius and Tess would be able to be in the same room ever again, because he would hate if they all not cold hang out and talk together. He would have just to wait and see.

Okay I'm ill so I decided that you all should have the next chapter because of that biggrin.gif Weird, I know ...

As the last Quidditch match of the year got nearer, and James pushed his team to the outmost at the trainings. But they didn’t hate him for that; they wanted to win the last game just as much as he wanted. They had to win by more than 190 points; otherwise they would only be second in the cup. If they only won by 110 points, they would be third. And if they lost they would be last.
The match was only two days away and James had organised double training the whole week.
“You have to do it a little quicker!” James shouted across the field to Maja. “And don’t be afraid of falling of. Pete and I will catch you if it happens. Try again.”
James threw the quaffle towards Maja and she flew quickly towards it with her blonde hair waving after her. When she was close enough she swung her whole buddy over the broom to the right. She had only grip on the broom with her one hand now. She continued the big bow around the broom and kicked the quaffle that flew right back at James who caught it. Maja had completed the bow and sat safety at her broom once more, smiling.
“That was great!” James said. “Ravenclaw won’t stand a chance if you do this in game.”
Maja smiled wider at this. She did it one more time as James threw the quaffle once more.
James looked around, he wondered why Sirius had not yet tried to knock James of his broom with a bludger as he used to. Sirius was in the other end of the field, still in the air and keeping an eye on James and Maja.
“Padfoot, we’re not here to do nothing!” James yelled at him.
Sirius came back to reality and hit a bludger at James which missed.
After practise James walked back to the castle. Sirius had said to him that he would take a little longer, so James went back by himself.
In the head dorm Lily, Tess and Wendy were chatting and giggling.
“What’s so funny?” James asked as he entered.
“Nothing!” Lily said, but her smiled said different.
“Right…”
“It’s just girls’ stuff, James.” Wendy said. “Don’t worry.”
James shrugged his shoulders and walked into his room to put his broom.
An hour later Sirius came to visit James. He was companied by Remus and Peter. Tess and Wendy still were talking with Lily and suddenly James got nervous. He looked at Tess and Sirius in turns. Sirius acted normal and said hello in his usual way. Tess sad hi too, but she had a harder time smiling. James totally understood her.
“Why took you so long?” James asked Sirius.
“Oh, nothing.” Sirius said and looked out the window.
James shook his head slightly and made a gesture to make them sit down.
Remus sat down beside Wendy; somehow James could not help but notice they looked so happy together. He himself leaned back in the couch and put his arm around Lily and was happy he had her again.

Hey biggrin.gif sorry, I know you all wanted to hear about the quidditch match, but I found if kind of hard writing so there isn't much. Forgive me.

64
James didn’t sleep the night before the Quidditch match. He just lay in his bed, staring into the ceiling. He was up ten times at night to get something to drink or just look out in the night. At last when he had accidentally woken up Lily too, she took him by the hand into her room. She kept stroking his at his back, which had a relaxing effect at him. He fell asleep and got about four hours of sleep.

The next morning, James tried to eat something, but it didn’t work. He called the team down to the pitch long before they were going to play.
When they had changed into their robes James stood for a long time and looked at his team. After a long time he took a deep breath, very aloud.
“We have to win.” He said and smiled at them.
The team nodded. Sirius just looked at him.
“Isn’t there more?” He asked.
James looked at him. “No. I don’t want to say anything. Just go out and win. I know we can, because we are the best team.”
The team was surprised by James’s missing speech. In his three years as a captain, he had never let go the chance of a great speech. Why would he now?
James had only one more thing to say.
“Aidan. You need to keep Stew, the Ravenclaw seeker, away from the snitch until we’re in the lead with more than 40 points. Okay?”
Aidan nodded.
James trusted him. Maybe he was not that big, but Aidan was the best seeker James had ever seen. He was only a fifth year, but he had beaten the rest of those who had been to tryout the last four year at tryouts.
“Let’s go out and win.”
They got up and walked out.
As James got into the air, he felt all the nervousness melted away. He was ready to do his best. And so was the rest of the team. Gryffindor opened the game with a goal sent in by Pete.
Ravenclaw had the quaffle. They flew down the field and past Pete. James had not seen one of their players in the one side and he got the quaffle. James raced over there to block the way, but too late. He shot. Luckily Henrietta saved it.
The game continued for half an hour. Gryffindor had not been able to be in the lead with more than 40 point. James had the quaffle, but his angle was too acute to goal.
“Maja!” He called.
She came flying very quickly and James threw the quaffle where he knew she would be able to kick to it. Maja let go of her broom and swung around. Her kick to the quaffle was perfect, and it flew right through the left ring with so much speed that the keeper could not react.
“YES!” She exclaimed.
In the very same second a blue flash flew right past James, succeed by a red one. They were chasing the snitch! Stew was still in front, but Aidan was right after him and caught up with him for every feet. James saw the snitch only inches from Stew’s hand. In the same second a bludger from Sirius was about to hit Stew and he became distracted. Aidan caught the snitch.
James was stunned. “We won…” He said breathless. “We really won!”
James smiled, and so did the rest of the team.
That night there was a big party in the Gryffindor common room.
James had never seen his team so happy like after they had won the cup. He looked around at his players. Michael was talking to his fellow students in sixth year. Aidan was playing some game with another fifth year. Pete and Henrietta were talking together about the game. Sirius was not to be seen. James recognized Maja’s blonde hair in the corner snogging a boy James could not see the face of. He looked one more time around after Sirius before his gaze fell at the boy Maja was snogging. As they broke apart James recognized the boy as Sirius.
James jaw dropped. So that was what Sirius had been doing after that practice where he had been an hour late, he had been talking to Maja. James grinned at this.
“What are you so happy about?”
James turned around and saw Lily smiled at him.
“Oh, it’s just Sirius.” James said and nodded at Sirius and Maja.
Lily looked at them.
“Don’t worry.” James added as he saw Lily’s face. “You don’t see Tess here anyway do you? No, because she went over half an hour ago. She probably had someone to meet.”
Lily smiled. “Yeah… you’re right…” She looked around in the common room “I was wondering. Aren’t you a little tired after the game and need to go back to our dorm?”
“No, I’m actually…” James stopped as he saw Lily’s look and added shortly. “I could use some rest.”
Lily grabbed James hand and dragged him out of the common room. She caught Lina’s gaze at her way out right before she went out the portraithole. That was what you could call unfriendly, she thought. But she quickly forgot as James kissed her passionate when they had gotten out in the corridors.

The next couple of days were good. James and the other players kept getting compliments about the game. James didn’t see much of Sirius because he and Maja spend much time making out in the corridors. This gave more time to James he could spend with Lily, which he actually was very happy about because the NEWT tests were in less than two weeks and most of his free time was being used to studying. Not because he wanted to, but Lily made him.
An evening James had agreed to study with Lily. She was good at those things James not was as good at and James was good at those things Lily was not good at. All their notes lay scattered all over the table and they both sat in the couch with wands out.
“You have to do it more like this.” Lily said and showed James some movements with her wand.
“I can do it. Just not as good as you can.” James said and did it.
Lily looked at him with a raised eyebrow and a small smile on her lips. “I’m glad you can admit that you’re not the best at everything.”
“Have I ever said that I was?”
“No. It’s just… before in time you acted a lot like you thought that.”
“I did? You’re not perfect yourself you know!” James smiled mischievous at her.
“How is that?” Lily’s eyes had a small twinkle and she smiled.
“Won’t tell.” James said shortly and looked away, grinning.
“If I’m not perfect…” Lily said and leaned over to James and whispered the rest. “Tell me what’s missing.”
James looked at her as she leaned back with a flirty smile on her face. He sighed and looked into the wall, thinking.
“Well… It's…You're” James had nothing to say about her. “All right you’re perfect.” He muttered at last.
“What was that?” Lily asked and smiled at him in a way which showed she knew she had won.
James leaned over to her. “I said, that you’re the most” James kissed her neck “perfect girl” He kissed her cheek. “I have ever laid my eyes on.” And he kissed her mouth.
“You’re so sweet.” She said and pulled him softly back to her.
“I know.” James said.
Lily giggled and kissed James.
They soon had forgotten all about the studying.

Later that day Lily and James got visit from Sirius, Remus and Peter.
“Hey guys.” James greeted. “Where have you been all day?”
“Well,” Remus began. “Padfoot have been making out with Maja. So Wormtail and I have studied.”
“How is Maja?” James asked Sirius.
Sirius looked dreamy out the window. “So different. She’s not like any girl a have ever kissed, which, by the way, is a lot. She’s so much more down to earth.”
“So when will you dump her?” Remus asked.
“I don’t know. I enjoy it right now.”
“But you said yourself that you needed to see a lot of girls.” James said.
Now Lily interrupted. “I can’t believe you are talking about girls like that!”
“Like what?” James asked her.
“Like… Like… Like something you make out with, and then dump!”
“Lily,” Sirius began. “Do you seriously think, after nine months with Tess, and you and James have been together for… well, almost six months, that we just consider girls like that.”
Lily looked down. “It was just the way you were talking at.”
“It’s the way guys talk.” James said and put his arm around Lily’s waist. “I would never dump you. Not even if I was paid to do it.”
“Please, Prongs!” Sirius exclaimed. “Try to be a little more girlish will you!”
“Just because you can’t do other things that snog with girls, doesn’t mean that Prongs can’t.” Remus said.
Sirius laughed of this.
“And by the way Sirius,” Lily added. “Girls think it’s cute when boys can express feelings. They don’t always have to be that masculine and hard in the tone.”
Sirius showed the white of his eyes at that.

hello biggrin.gif here's the next chapter to you all .

James was sleeping. It was three in the morning and it was not very dark outside because it was almost summer. A couple of stars shined at the sky. Lily opened the door slowly and entered James’s room. She went on tiptoe over to the side of his bed and looked at James. He was so cute when he was sleeping Lily thought, it would almost be a shame to wake him up.
She reached out for his chest and stroked it. “James?”
He turned a little and smiled at the sound of her voice.
“James.” She shook him slightly again.
He turned to her and blinked a couple of times.
“Lily. What are you doing in here in this time at night?”
“I need you to come with me.”
James rubbed his eyes. “Where?”
“It’s a surprise. Just put on a t-shirt and pants.”
James came out of bed and put on some clothes.
Lily grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the head dorm and down the corridors, then outside.
“Close your eyes. I’ll lead you.” Lily said.
James did as he was told. “Where are we going?”
“You’ll see…”
He just followed Lily without seeing anything of where he was going.
James didn’t know how long time they had walked but suddenly Lily stopped.
“Now, open you’re eyes.” Lily whispered.
James opened his eyes and saw the most fantastic sight he had ever seen. He and Lily stood on some sort of a cliff and could see all over the lake and the forest. The daylight was faint, but James could see almost every detail in landscape. Some birds were flying over the forest and their tweets were carried by the light wind over to James and Lily. The surface of the lake was glossy and only a swan was making a couple of waves.
“Wow. It’s beautiful!” James whispered.
There was so quite that there was no need to raise the voices. Both James and Lily sat down in the grass.
“Yeah. That’s why I brought you here.” Lily whispered back. “I used to come here a lot. You know one more thing?”
James looked over the lake and was thinking. “No, what?”
“Today, or more precisely, this morning in about…” Lily looked at James clock. “Five minutes, it is six months since we kissed the first time.”
James was impressed. “You’re well-informed.”
“Well, after you made that lovely date to that room, I thought I needed to make up something too.”
“And you’re very good at it.” James leaned over and kissed Lily.
She put her arm around James and pulled him down with her.
Lily enjoyed lying in the grass with James, and they didn’t return to the Head Dorm before six in the morning, and at that time it was no use trying to sleep.

It became the week of NEWTs. James didn’t feel he had done what he could to prepare, but he didn’t want to use more time at and he knew he would do fine without all the practicing. Monday was their last day off before the NEWT tests began. James and Sirius had decided it was best to relax the day before the test and spend the most of day outside under the trees. It was very peaceful and quite because most of the school was inside or studied outside in silence.
“You should do some studying.” A voice was heard.
Both James and Sirius lay in the grass without speaking and the voice had disturbed the silence.
James looked up and saw Lily.
“We have done what we could do.” He said and closed his eyes and let his head fall back on the ground once more. “Right Padfoot?”
“Way too much actually.” Sirius said.
“No you haven’t.” Lily said and sat beside James. “But if you had, I would know someone had kidnapped you and taken your places.”
James smiled at this. “Admit it. If I actually did my homework and studied, you wouldn’t like me. That’s what makes me so charming.”
“Right.” Lily snorted and leaned back so she lay shoulder by shoulder with James. “Oh, by the way, Sirius?”
“Yeah?”
“Maja was looking for you in the Gryffindor common room.”
“Isn’t she studying for the big exams?” Sirius looked up.
“She’s in sixth year, idiot, and has no OWLs or NEWTs to attend.”
“All right.” Sirius said and got up. “See you.”
James and Lily lay for a couple of minutes in silence. Then James broke it.
“Lily?” He asked and sat up.
“Mm?”
“I was just wondering… What are you going to do when we have finished Hogwarts? This summer?” James looked down at Lily.
She opened her eyes and sat up beside James. Lily looked at him in a very thinking way.
“I actually haven’t thought of that…”
“Okay.” James looked down. “I was wondering… if you maybe would come and live with me for a while?”
Lily tried to get eye contact with James, but he didn’t look up so she decided just to answer.
“I could that. But I have to go home first. My sister is getting married two days after I come home.”
“She is?”
“Yeah. I just first got to know yesterday. But it doesn’t matter; if it wasn’t for my mother I wouldn’t have been invited.”
“Oh, well okay. Congratulations.”
“But I would love to come already the day after.” Lily said and took hold of James’s hand.
James grinned. “You can come as soon as you want to.” James kissed her cheek.
“I’ll owl you when I figure out when I can come.”
“That would be great.” James said and lay down in the grass once more.
Lily lay down too, on the stomach with her head resting on James’s chest.
He could smell her flowery perfume and sighed.
“What?” Lily asked.
James looked at her for a while. “I Just… I just really love you.”
Lily pulled herself a little closer to James. “I love you too.”
James put his arms around her and kissed her.

Ups, fifth page. wow.

The silence filled the room. Not a single person was speaking. And if they made any little noise it was because they were muttering spells and what they could do in the last minutes before it all went crazy. Lily looked up the line. It was her turn next. She took a deep breath, she couldn’t hide that she was very nervous. She even felt her hand shake a little bit. At last she closed her eyes and let her head fall slightly back at the wall, so it was resting against it. Lily took a deep breath once more. She didn’t hear the footsteps that walked towards her, and was surprised when she felt a hand stroke her own. She opened her eyes slightly and saw James sit beside her. He smiled at her and then kissed her on the forehead.
“Don’t be nervous. You’ll do fine.”
Lily smiled and leaned against James that held his arms around her.
“Evans, Fabian, Goldsmith, Griffin.” A voice called.
Lily looked at the man who had called, then back at James.
“Now, go and do your best. Then no one can demand more.” He said.
“I’ll try.” Lily said and tried to smile.
She got up and walked out along with Tess and two others, leaving James back.
He looked after her, and knew she would do fine. And hopefully he would too.

The first five days of NEWT tests had gone by, and James, Remus and Peter spent their first day off sitting outside under a big tree. Sirius was there too, but you almost couldn’t count him in because he sat glued together with Maja by the lips.
As James thought back, he thought he had done fine by all the exams, but he had messed a little up in Charms. Though, his censor in Transfiguration had cheered aloud when he conjured a big flock of beautiful white swans out of nowhere and made them fly a round in the Great Hall before he made them disappear again with a wand wave, and leaving behind a beautiful rainbow and a single fading star for each swan. Two of the other’s censors had even turned around to see it. James smiled at this.
“So,” Remus begun. “We have only Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures left.” He sat with his back at the tree and closed eyes.
“Yes. Only three exams left.” James said. He was lying in the grass with his hands behind his head and closed eyes. “You know what I have just realised?”
“No what?” Peter asked.
“We have less than two weeks left at Hogwarts.”
Sirius broke apart from Maja. “What?!”
They all looked at him.
“So you do actually listen while you are snogging.” James said and grinned. “We have been discussing that. This means that I win!”
“Prongs was just saying that we will be leaving the school for ever in less that two weeks.” Remus said.
Sirius let himself fall back into the grass. “That sucks.” He sat up again. “Oh, well. I have to enjoy every moment.” Then he put his arms around Maja and kissed her again.
“I’ll actually miss this place.” Remus said and looked at the castle.
“Me too.” Peter said.
James sighed. “It’s gonna be tuff to try to be serious about my life from now on.”
“You have had 7 years of practice.” Remus said. “You’ll do fine. I’m more worried about Padfoot over there.” He nodded at Sirius.
Sirius and Maja broke apart once more. “Don’t worry about me. I have my life planed. And I’ll bet you that in five years I’m working for the ministry and have a well paid job.”
“Ha! There’s a better chance that you’ll end up innocent in Azkaban than hardworking in the ministry.”
“Ha, ha, ha.” Sirius said sarcastic “Some day you’ll get impressed by me and what I do.”
“I doubt that.”
“Just wait and see.”
“I will.”
James had leaned back in the grass and smiled of his friends’ argument. He doubted too that Sirius would be either a ministry-man or an Azkaban-prisoner.

The last three NEWT tests were over. James had decided to spend his evening with Lily, but that didn’t go as well as planed. He and Lily had spent about ten minutes together when five people burst through the portraithole.
James looked up and saw Sirius, Remus, Peter, Tess and Wendy.
“Hey you all.” James smiled.
“Moony and I was talking. And we though now that our exams are over, we should throw a little party.” Sirius sad and showed them all two bottles of fire whisky.
Remus and Peter had some butterbeers in their hands.
“You know,” Lily said. “We could give you a detention for possession of alcoholic drinks?”
Sirius went pale and looked at Lily like trying to say something with his eyes. “Would you do that?”
James looked with fright. They could not start a row, not now again as they had to finish Hogwarts.
Lily suddenly smiled wide. “Of course not. We have a week left. Why would I? And I think we all need to relax a little bit.”
Sirius smiled too. “Let’s get this party started.”
Sirius conjured seven glassed and gave one to each, then filled them all up.
Two hours later James could see on everyone had been drinking. Remus and Wendy were in a deep conversation that included a lot of kissing. And James was happy to see Sirius talking to Tess.
“Thank you.” He muttered to himself.
Peter was talking to him about something about NEWTs. He was not really listening. He was happy when Sirius came over there so James could leave.
He found Lily sitting on the staircase to her room looking at her hands. She looked like she was thinking hard about something.
“Hey sexy.” He said and kissed her cheek.
“How much have you been drinking?” She asked.
“Not much. Why?”
“You have never called me ‘sexy’ before.”
“You looked so sad. I thought you needed a little love.”
Lily looked at him and smiled. “Then thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” James kissed her.
“Did you see Tess ‘n Sirius before?” Lily asked and looked at Tess, who was sitting in the couch with Peter and Sirius. Then her gaze hit Sirius and she looked down again.
“Yeah. They were talking together.”
“It’s nice to see them like that. I was afraid they never would talk to each other again.”
“So was I. That will never happen to us.” James said honest.
“What do you mean?” Lily asked and looked at him.
“I’ll never in my whole life brake up with you.”
Lily smiled. “You’re so sweet.”
James kissed her softly.
Lily put her arm around him and pulled James closer to her. James deepened the kiss and put much love in it. Like this they sat for a long time until James pushed apart.
“Want to go to my room?” He asked.
“Sure.” Lily grinned.
James got up offered Lily his hand. She took it and they went towards James’s room. On the way through the room James had only eyes for Lily. They got up the stairs and opened the door into James’s room.
James looked up and saw that his room and bed already was taken by two persons.

Lily’s jaw dropped. She could not believe her own eye. Nor could James. He rubbed his eyes and looked one more time.
“Tess? Sirius?” Lily said stunned and closed her mouth.
Sirius and Tess broke apart and looked at them. Sirius quickly removed his hands from where they were at Tess, and Tess got off Sirius.
“I’m sorry.” Tess said.
Neither she nor Sirius had showed any form for embarrassment, they just never did.
“Me too.” Sirius said.
“Wha-wha-wha… What about Maja?” James only managed to stutter.
“And Stew?” Lily said and looked at Tess.
Tess and Sirius looked at each other.
“Well, we have not talked about that.” Sirius said at last.
“We’ll just go and let you about the things.” Lily said and grabbed James’s hand, then pulled him out.
James and Lily went down at sat in a couch with Remus and Wendy. Peter had disappeared.
Five minutes later Sirius and Tess came down and walked out. None of the four in the couch heard them leave.

The next day Maja looked as happy as ever and Sirius had his arm around her when James and Lily came down in the Great Hall. Neither James nor Lily said anything, but as soon as Maja left for classes they both started questioning him.
“What happened last night?” James asked.
Sirius smiled. “Well, Tess and I left you all about eleven and went to the room of requirement, where we spend the rest of the night and we both fell asleep there.”
“Again, what about Maja?” James asked.
“We talked this morning and decided that we would keep everything that happened last night as a secret. Please don’t tell it to anyone.” Sirius said at last.
James looked at Sirius. “Mate, you have been cheating on you girlfriend.”
“Don’t make it sound that bad. Tess and I agreed it was that last night you have before you can call your relationship for closed. We never had that. So it became last night, and now we both can move on.”
“You make something very bad sound so right.” Lily said in a tone that showed that she didn’t know how she felt about it all.
“I can put my whole attention at Maja now. And Tess can at Stew Ing – Yeah, whatever his name is.”
“If you can live with that, then fine.” James said and began eating his eggs.
Lily looked as she didn’t know what to say so she began drinking pumpkin juice which she choked in immediately. James laughed of this. Then he though of something.
“When you said last night, you mean that you and Tess… you did...?”
Sirius looked at James. “Prongs, for how long have you known me now? Six, almost seven years. And by now you should know that I take the chances and the opportunities I get.”
“So you did?”
“Of course we did!”
“This just makes it a lot worse.” Lily said.
Sirius looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “Sure. I have not said otherwise have I?”
“Just as long as you can live with that.”
“I can. Trust me.”
Lily showed the white of her eyes.

Hey smile.gif
Okay. This will be the last post in this thread. I’m not sure whether or not I’ll end the story, but you can read more in the end of my post.

71
The last week at Hogwarts did all too quickly come to an end. James noticed when he was in the same room as the rest of the marauders and the girls, that Sirius and Tess was talking suspicious good together. James wondered if it really was over between them, but he found that he really didn’t care.
The night of the graduation James and Lily had agreed to spend the evening and night together after they had finished in the Great Hall. James had taken Lily out for a walk in the grounds. It was not late in the night yet and the sun was hanging low in the sky.
They sat together under a tree in silence, James against the tree with Lily between his legs and back at him. He had his arms around her stomach at the same time as he had her hands in his.
“It’s so beautiful.” Lily sighed.
“Yeah… it is.” James said.
He closed his eyes for some seconds, just enjoying Lily’s present and her perfume. Lily seamed to do the same and none of them spoke for some minutes.
James opened his eyes slowly and looked down on the ground at the lake.
“Do you remember that time in our fifth year after the OWLs?” James began “That time Sirius and I hexed Snape and you began to yell of me. Then I asked you out, but you said that you would rather go out with the giant squid than me.”
Lily smiled. “Surprisingly yes. It was right over there.” She pointed where James had just looked. “And you made him hang upside down.”
James made a little snort. “You have to admit that it was a little fun.” He looked down at her and smiled a little bit.
“Perhaps a little.”
“I remember that so clearly. I have never seen you like that, and I just fell even more in love with you. That day I decided never to give up on you.”
“That’s sweet. I just don’t get why you didn’t get afraid of me. I would have.”
“A little afraid, maybe. But also fascinated.”
Lily shook her head slightly and looked out over the lake. There was silence for a couple of minutes once more.
“Lily,” James then broke the silence. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.” She said without taking her eyes of the sky and lake.
“You know, that time in first year when I said those things about you, which I didn’t mean.”
“What about that?”
“I have thought a bit about it, and wondered. You told me that it hurt you, but how could a simple boy’s word hurt that much that a girls would hate him for six years?”
Lily sat up and removed her gaze from the horizon and at James instead. Her gaze was filled with wonder.
“I thought it was kind of obvious…” She said and waited for an answer, but when it didn’t come she continued. “I liked you James.”
James’s jaw dropped. “You… You liked me?”
Lily blushed. A thing James had not seen her do for weeks.
“Kind of.”
James could not believe this. He had liked a girl for seven years and she had liked him. He had chased her, but she had turned him down over and over, like she really hated him. James felt two feelings rush through him. I feeling of joy; Lily had always liked him. And a feeling of regret; all that time they had wasted. The feeling of regret took over.
“Wasted time.” He muttered.
“James.” Lily said and turned to look at him. It seamed like she had red his thoughts. “Don’t begin to feel bad or anything. Think if we had been dating in our first year. Then we perhaps would have broken up after a couple of months, and we would not sit here together.”
James looked at Lily. She was right; things would not have been the same today if Lily had not heard that conversation or just forgiving him for it.
“You’re right.” James said and gave Lily a hug.
“And you know I love you.” Lily said.
“And I love you.” James said and kissed her cheek as she turned towards the lake again.
They both leaned back and looked out over the lake and the beautiful sunset.
The last sunset they would see at Hogwarts.

Okay… As I said before, I’m thinking of ending my fic here. I want you to go to my feedback thread and say if you want me to continue or not. If you all want me to continue, I’ll continue the story. It will probably be in a new thread, but the story will be the same and called the same, but it’s just about what happens between the end of Hogwarts and Lily and James Potter’s sad death.
I have written the next five chapters, Just in case you want it, and I have a plotline, so all you have to do is click here and say if you want to read more about Lily and James as those persons I’m making them.
But first I have a little advertisement for the second part of my fic if it will be posted: You will find out what Sirius said to Lily in that chapter so long time ago (Chapter 49, if you remember?). You will meet Lily’s muggle friends and her ex-boyfriend ohmy.gif. You will see what more happens between Maja, Tess and Sirius. You will of course see how it goes when Lily comes to live with James. And last but not least; you will see James fighting not just Voldemort but also other people – Several times! Now click here and give me your opinion biggrin.gif

Okay, I guess it was a bad idea to even consider not going on with the story… I can see you all want me to continue it, so I will… I decided to write this chapter as an extra chapter and put it in here – most as a ‘good-bye’ – and then I’ll post the next ‘part’ of the story in another thread. I mean, it’s not 7th year anymore, but it will be called the same, just to make things a bit easier. If you don't understand what I just wrote feel free to ask questions in my feedback thread. There will probably go some days before it will be up- the new part I mean- , but you can take a look at my new fic in the meantime. I guarantee you; it’s nothing near something you have red before. Take a look at it smile.gif
Now, Enjoy the last part of the ‘school’- part of my story. There’s nothing more Hogwarts after this.

72
The marauders had managed to get a compartment for themselves the next day on the way home. None of them were speaking; they all knew how much they would miss the castle and everything that had happened there.
“Man, this is really depressing.” Sirius said and let his head hit the window.
“Yeah…” James gave him right.
They studied the castle as it grew smaller and smaller in the horizon.
Peter got up and was on his way out.
“Where are you going Wormtail?” Remus asked.
“Toilet.” Peter said and went out.
The others sat back again in silence. James lay down at the free place that had been after Peter walked out with his hands behind his head.
The door to the compartment slid open and someone walked inside. James didn’t want to bother himself by looking up.
“Why do you all look so depressing?” A girl asked asked.
James lifted his head and saw Tess in the door.
“If you haven’t noticed,” Sirius said. “We’re leaving Hogwarts, and won’t probably ever come back.”
Tess looked at Sirius. “Yes, but that’s not a good reason to be that sad. Especially not you who’s always smiling.”
Sirius tried to smile as Tess sat down beside him. James let his head fall back at the seat. He closed his eyes and signed out loud. Sirius, Remus and Tess were talking but James did not listen.
After half an hour the door slid open once more.
“Oh, so it’s here you’re hiding. We have been looking for you.”
This time James didn’t need to look, to recognize the girl talking; it was Lily. He smiled.
“Why are you smiling so wide?” Lily’s voice was heard very close to his ear.
James opened his eyes and turned his head so he was inches away from Lily. She smiled at him.
“You.” He said and kissed her.
He sat up to make room for Lily and Wendy.
“Are you enjoying the last trip at the Hogwarts express?” Remus asked.
“Yeah. But it’s actually sad.” Wendy said.
Peter returned to the compartment and they all spend the rest of the journey in there with the girls.
When the train began to slow down the girls went back to get their luggage. James looked out the window and saw his parents stand and wait for him. He smiled.
As James was hugging his mother he looked around. Lily was talking to her mother and gave her a hug. Sirius was kissing Maja, and Tess was looking at them. Remus and Wendy’s parents were talking to each other while their children were about to say goodbye to each other. Peter was being hugged by his mother too.
The rest of the seventh years were hugging each other, some of them were crying.
“Should we go now, dear?” Helena asked James.
“Sure, just go. I’ll be with you in a minute.” James said and walked over to Lily, whose mother had also left the platform.
“I’m going to miss you.” James said and gave her a hug.
“I’ll be with you in about four days.” Lily said.
“Yeah, but I’ll still miss you every second.”
“Don’t do that. Enjoy the time you have with you parents.”
James bent a little down and kissed Lily softly.
“Bye.” He said and gave her a last hug.
“Bye.”
James found Sirius and together they apparated back to James parents who already were home with his trunk. James quickly went to his room and sent Lily an owl, just to say that he already missed her.
Then he and Sirius went down to the kitchen and sat by the table with his father who was reading the Daily Prophet. His mother was about to make some dinner for them and the radio was on.
“I really appreciate that you let me stay here until I get my own place.” Sirius said when Helena placed the food at the table.
“You stay as long as you want to. We love having you around.” Helena said with her one hand at Sirius’s shoulder.
“You and James are the only things that keep us young.” Jonathan said.
“Well, thanks anyways.”
They both smiled at Sirius.
“Will we see any of your other friends this summer?” Helena asked and looked at James.
Sirius was about to speak, but James kicked him under the table.
“I don’t know. Remus has some studying to do before he wants to start in the ministry.” James said. “And Peter needs to relax a little bit.”
“What about Lily?” Jonathan asked.
James blushed slightly but hoped his parents didn’t see. “I don’t know. I haven’t really talked to her about that.”
Jonathan looked at James over his glasses. “Aha...”
James looked down at his plate and began eating; he noticed that Sirius was smiling.

*****

The ride home for Lily was very relaxing. Her mother drove the car and kept talking about her sister’s wedding and how everything was about to happen in two days.
“We’re here.” Lily’s mother woke her up.
“Okay.”
Lily went inside, the house was almost empty.
“Hi Petunia.” Lily said and smiled at her sister.
“Hey. I just came down here to tell you not to show any… THINGS at my wedding. I have not told Vernon about you and what you do, so act normal.”
Lily sighed. Of course Petunia had only come down to tell her that. Something Lily thought that the reason for Petunia hating Lily and her skills was that she didn’t have any herself.
“No, no. I would not dream of ruin your big day.” Lily just said and tried smiled.
“Good. Didn’t think so either.” Then Petunia stormed of to her own room.
“I’ll go unpack, mum.” Lily called.
She walked through the kitchen and opened her door into her room. How she had missed it. Her brown walls were filled with old posters and her bed was as fine as it had been when she left at Christmas. She started to unpack all her clothes and stuff, she had brought. She found a picture in her trunk and hung it up at the wall with four pins. Perfect!
She looked up as she heard something tapping on her window. It was an owl. She went over to open up for it. She recognized it as James’s.
“Hi Harald. Is James writing, huh?”
Harald hooted.

Lily
I’ve just got home, and I miss you already. I was thinking if I could come to your house and get you after the wedding. After all, they all say that in times like these is it not safe to go out alone, so wouldn’t that be the most wisely?

Love you, James.

Lily got some paper and sat down at her table and began to write a letter back.

Hi James.
I miss you too. And I would love you to come and get me! I red about s smaller another attack that happened last night, so you’re right, it is for the best.
Hope to see you soon.

Love, Lily.
