heya i have been thinking for a while how will they show the OWLS in OOTP?
or will they actually even show the OWLS? i was thinkin about it last night....i thought i'll get other people's opinion on it! thanx!

Oh yeah I forgot all about their OWL's!! I really don't know if they will show it I think they might because it is kind of important since it is really their future in a peice of paper!! Like all the exams we get our job depends on our results!!!

Good point yours. I really think they should show the OWL's.
It's one of the scenes I wanna watch to have an idea how it would be since my imagination doesn't help me when I'm reading and I try to image the scenery and the like. It sucks!
I hope they won't cut it out from the movie.

I also completely forgot about OWL's. There are probably only going to be a few exams they show. The astronomy is the most likely to be shown. They will show Hagrid being attacked and fleeing. I dont really know about the others. Probably the defence against the dark arts exam.

i was just wonderin if they will show the exam where harry has the vision of sirius being tortured??? i cant remember what it was :S

In one of the still pictures they show Umbridge standing in front of a sign that says, I think, Ordinary Wizarding Level exams (if thats the right...thing). I think by that, that it means they'll show it. Maybe just to show Harry do his patronus and have Umbridge look fearful or something.

they will show owls in the OotP movie because of the letters harry writes in cluding the one where filtch thinks harry has doungbombs since that is a major scene. Also the injuring of Hedgwid would be included

I would hope that they would show the OWL's because there are plenty of important sequences that happen in between and leading up to them. In the past, though, they haven't shown them finishing off the year with their exmas, probably because it wasn't as important as OWL's or NEWT's.

i am not sure about that board/ notice you are talkin about el barto but i do hope they show the owls..
and packers i am not sure about the letter you are talking about because i dont remember harry telling sirius anything about the owls...and i dont think the dungboms got anything to do with it:wacko: anyway....please P.M me and let me know what you mean!!!

I hope they include the scene where Harry is has his practical examination for DADA and he is asked to conjure his corporeal patronus. I think that it makes a strong statement in the book that he was able to do that in front of Umbridge and kinda rub it in her face.

sorry i misread the topic and was in a hurry so i did not look at posts, sirry it wiill not happen agian. I was talikng about owls not the OWLS. I believe that they will habve to show the DADA OWL BECAUSE OF THE patronus and getting back at umbridge> also you will show the astoylgy to see hagrid sacked.

Hedwig was attacked in a normal class (my bad) but i think they could make it in an owl t osave time

good question i hope we get to see some of those owls like harry performing a patronus charm right in front of umbridge cuz i would love to see her face when he does it like the discription in the book that would be funny

I think they'll just have a test for them because they need to include that area because of the dream Harry has of Sirius. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I think it'd be really good if they put the Owl recieving scene at the burrow. they probably wont they'll just talk about how they went or something. its an important scene anyway so if they';re not putting it in they should reconsider!
it'll show how nervous Hermione is and how she really wanted to pass etc. Oh, and they're should be a shot of harry doing a smug smile after finding that he'd achieved Outstanding for Defence against Dark Arts.

OWL exams are only once in the film.
The picture where Umbridge stands in front of the huge pendulum in Great Hall is in the scene.
Kids have History of Magic, i think, exams.
This is when Fred and George have ther exit.

They've mixed the two scenes so as to include them both.

So, yeah, we'll see OWLs.

OWL'S are definately in the movie, the part where Harry has the vision of Sirius in the History of Magic exam, and where Umbridge attacks McGonigall and Hagrid, during the astronomy exam.

I personally think that they will, because it is a big part in the storyline isn't it?
