well i was curious about peoples favorite place and i have always liked the black lake and i dident see a poll on this already so i decided to make one have fun

Hard to decide. I was thnking perhaps the Black Lake. It's just so beautiful. The hallways are always interesting too, there's so many of them and so much can happen but I guess I would have had to choose my commenroom. It's where most of my time is spent, especially with friends. I love the parties after Quidditch games!

I would love to go in the RoR!! That would be so cool! I would really like to be anywhere in Hogwarts! And I would really love to see what the RoR would turn into for me! It would be so much fun! I would just be happy to be with my friends really!

The Room Of Requirement. The astronomy tower and the hallways were close seconds. The astronomy tower because I like stars, but I could jsut walk outside to see them if I want. The hallways because, like ~.:hogwarts.bound:.~ said, there's so amny of them and they all lead you somewhere and sometimes somewhere really cool. But I chose the ror. Just basically becasue then I could make it whatever I want. If I want'ed the Quidditch Pitch I could jsut say I really need it and it'd be there. I'd never have to wait for my brothers and sisters to finsih up in the bathroom either because I could jsut walk past the door 3 times and think hard and get it! That'd be so great. I don't know if it's my favorite place, but out of these choices it is. I could use it for whatever I need.

I'd be happy in the grounds. They sound so beautiful and they're the kind of plave i could spend all my time in. I would love to be out there ( maybe not in the rain ) but any other time really!

Common Room


The way Rowling describes them makes them seem soooo comfortable. I'd rather be in my house common room then out on the grounds or in Potions

My favourite place at Hogwarts is the Room of Requeriment because I think it's the most magical place: the door only sometimes appear,inside it you can find everything you want or need and it can be a good place to make ilegal things (like the Dumbledore's Army classes).

well i didn't vote because it is like a three-way tie!

room of requirement - well it could be anything that you want it too be! i would love that! one day i'd walk in to a paradise and the next day i would jump on a pile of silk pillows and just dream!

library - well i love to read.... need anymore be said! well also as it's a library it's quiet so i would feel slightly... calmer there.

outside on the grounds - what isn't to love? the view must be breathtaking... well there are in the film anyways! and well i guess i wouldn't mind just sitting out there reading a book or whatever. and i would love to be out there in the rain too! i love the rain.

i chose commonroom.. cause that was the one thing that was the coolest thing i could remember when reading the books. I wish i would of gone to a cool school like that.. then the second thing in my mind was the quidditch pitch!!

I'm just going to be a useless tart and say the dungeons. Lets not go into details.

the Quidditch Pitch would have to my favorite place in Hogwarts. Just because,Quidditch is so cool and i think it would be brilliant to be able to play!!

i voted for the room of requirement....just imagine....it doesnt just have to be a room....its whatever you need it to be and has everything youll ever need...i would have SOOOO much fun!!

My favorite place would be the tree by the black lake cause there seems to be so many memories with everyone there and it just seems that that is a place where any magical and wonderful thing can happen i dont know it just seems to have that kind of spark or magic and dream in it

Room of Requirements! Totally! It can be any room I want it to be. I can be on a deserted island without a trouble on my mind, or in a cozy little room filled with scented candles a big comfy couch, and my nose in my favorite book. How awesome would that be!?

I voted for anywhere as long as I'm with my friends,cause I love all places that are on the list but anywhere would be better if I am with my friends

Definitely the Kitchens, becuase not only is it kool that in order to get inside, you have to tickle a pear, but also because inside, you get to meet house elves and get tons of food.

Well I voted 'anywhere if I'm with my friends" 'cause i did not know what to answer. Each place is wonderful. I'd like to be in the lunch room when it's time to eat, in the library to read soe good magic books, in the dark forest to isolate myself from the other students, etc... Each place is my favorite. It depends on when, on the time of the day we are.

I dont know why but the Hospital Wing maybe its just because I want to work in the medical field and thinking about persuing a degree in sports medicine or something and like I said I dont know why but I just really like the hospital wing even if I dont like why they ended up in there.

My favorite place would have to be the Great Hall. (That might have been what you meant by the lunchroom, but I put other) I love how the ceiling mirrors the sky, the floating candles, the holiday decorations, and how all special events like the Yule Ball and the Sorting take place there.

My favourite place would have to be the grounds. They are gorgeous and I love being outside so ... I'm so there it's insane! Haha.

Anywhere is fine. As long as you're with friends anyplace should be fun.

The Room of Requirements! That would be sooooooooooo cool to have!

The RoRequirements would deffinately be my favorite place. You can basically have anything in there. You don't need the kitchen for food, you have the RoR. You can make it even cooler and better than your common room. Um, I'm sure if you wanted you could get it allow quiditch to be played. It would be great. The more I think about, the more depressed I get that I can't ahve a room of requirements. Also, just think of all the stuff in there from those things that people wanted to hide. that would be so cool to just sift through and see what you find. As soon as we heard of it, in OotP?, I loved it!

My favourite place in the castle would be library where I could read lots of books and the second would have to be my common room. I would love to spend some really fun time with some of my house-mates, anyways, who wouldn't? As I love books, it would be the place for me to be in.

I'm going with other becuase my favorite part of the castle would undoubtably be the dungeons. Anywhere where Severus is is where I want to be. That plus the aura of the dungeons attracts me. I like how it's considered creepy, yet still inviting with the Slytherin colors that don the walls near the common rooms. Plus, the smell of something brewing in the potions class.... *lost in thought*

I was going to pick the room of requirement, but I realized that that may not always be open to me, and I'd rather not use it unless I really need it.... So instead, I went with my own commonroom. I mean, it's got to be comfortable, and I'm sure I'd feel at home in it. Besides, all of my inner-house friends would be there with me.

i said the quidditch pitch becuase i love sports and i think quidditch is such a cool sport

Jeez, if only I could be at Hogwarts... I whouldn't mind beying anywere! Okay, I'll choose my common room! I find it very relaxing, and great being with my Ravenclaw friends!

Hogwarts is a very fun place and I think anywhere there would be my favorite place as long as I am with my friends to enjoy it! Of course some spots are cooler than others but it doesnt matter when you are with friends

room of requirements because it changes to any person's needs, and it was used for the DA! i think its just the coolest place in Hogwarts

My favourite place(s) in Hogwarts would have to be... 1:The Quidditch Pitch,cuz i'd be able to practice Quidditch and just be up in the air on my broom. 2:My Commons room,cuz i'd just be able to relax and chill with my friends. and 3:The Room of Requirements,cuz i'd be able to practice spells, charms etc.without being detected by anyone except my friends.

The black lake. I think it would give me some peace. I also like Hogwarts insides, but I like the sound of wind and water

I've always idealized the idea of sitting out on the black lake with friends and just chilling out there. It looks so peaceful and beautiful. I think I'd love it there.

Really anywhere as long as I was with my friends! But some ones I would really like would be: the Room of Requirment because it could turn into whatever it is that I needed, the Quidditch Pitch beacuse I would DEFINITELY play Quidditch and would love to fly to relieve stress and stuff, and probably the Dark Forest just because you could always find an adventure in there!

I would definetely have to say the Quidditch Pitch. I absolutely LOVE quidditch. I have always envisioned myself as a chaser. It would be so much fun to play for the house team, or even just fly around above the pitch. It is just an awesome place to be!

Well, I agree with you Half_Blood_Princess, just being at Hogwarts anywhere would be so great! But anyway, I chose RoR, I just imagine that it can transform to an ice rink, or swimming pool if I want it, it's surely the best place at Hogwarts.

The commonroom. Be there with the rest of your house is much fun, I think. The Black Lake would be my second. Too bad the great hall isn't in the poll. Unless they mean it with 'lunch room'....

My place in hogwarts would be outside cause it is so nice.I love the open area and there is a lot of air.And sunlight cause inside hogwarts it's always dark.

The room of requirement is cool. You can find whatever you want in it and it can be your fav places whenever you want. I also like the Great Hall. It is very........classic!

I think the room of requirement would be really fun as well as the others places on Hogwarts. It would be so fun to explore different areas of the castle. I wouldn't like to do it alone though, so I chose anywhere as long as I am with my friends.

boy if i could EVEN be in hogwarts that would be good enough for me . but really i cant pick a place. i would want to explore. either that or anything thats close by i'll check out (: but i need to see this famous room of requirements i must & see what i would turn it into<3

I picked "lunch room" assuming that this means the Great Hall. I would absolutely love going into a place with an enchanted ceiling to reflect the outside weather, it would make me want to stay there and stare up at the ceiling all day, but i'm just weird like that.

I would pick the Great hall only because of all the cool enchanments around that place and all the changes it undergoes throughout the year and weather. Although I must agree, that just being in and around Hogwarts would be my favorite. Perhaps I should've picked other and just said everything...

But besides that, I think I'd like to sit out by the Great Lake, under a tree, watching the Giant Squid float by. That would be relaxing and peaceful.
