Hmm....what style is your hair in at the moment? What color? A fringe?


Style: My hair is shoulder length and sort of "choppy". It has loads of layers and it is feathered and thinned. It's shaped around the face and it gets slightly longer at the back.

Colour: My hair is reddish/auburn. I have loads of natural blonde and brown highlights. In the summer my hair goes really light, and in the Winter it goes dark!!

Fringe: I do have a fringe at the moment but I didn't always have one. My fringe is whispy and cuts across my right eye. I love it!

first off im a guy, so I don't care about hair that much. But if anyone wants to know, it is a bit long and grows sraight.

Style: My hair is curly and braided and tied back in a poney tail like Angelina Johnsons's SHOULD have been in the movies because JKR descirbed her heir like that!

Colour:Mine is black/very dark brown in some light.

Fringe: Yep I have one too it covers most of my forehead and just touches my right eye. I like it very much too lol

When my hair isnt braided it is an afro and it is very frizzy and out of control HAHA but I can straighten it.

My hair is shoulder-length and layered. The color changes naturally, it gets darker brown/auburn in the winter, and in the summer it gets to more of a caramel/dark honey color.

Style: My hair right now is in tight small curls that spiral down to my neck, hanging just above my shoulders. Usually it's in a ponytail cocked to the side or clipped up with a....hair clip.

Color: It's black, but in the sun it has a dark browinsh kind of look with streaks of black.

Fringe: Nope.

Style: About shoulder length with layers. I'm growing it back out.

Color: It's red with a tid bit on blond in the front, because I sort of messed up the highlights. Now it kind of reminds me of Rogue from X-Men, except that the whole strand is not blond, only the roots. It's kind of cool looking, though.

Fringe: No fringe.

This Picture was taken about a week ago. The lighting makes it a bit difficult to tell the real color of my hair (it's very red) but I just relaly like this picture.

Oh and it's very normal for me to make various faces when pictures of me are being taken.

Well, thank you, jiggery pokery! That makes me feel happy! I do like my hair better the color it is now, too. That picture doesn't show it very well, but it's red and that's what I was going for.

So you dye your hair? What's that like? *no offence...* doesn't it ruin your hair? (maybe not).
I don't think i could bare to dye mine, except we have greyness in our family so i'm probably going to go grey at 20 and dye my hair but oh well !

Style: Really short [my friends cut it when i entered to the university , kind of a custom in my country ] used to have it really long, like down my thighs ; i'm a girl with a a guy's hairstyle :s

Color: My hair is really black!! People think i dyed it i think it is because even in the sun is really black

My hair is very very layered. It goes down to just before my shoulders, its a medium brown color... Its natural, I have never died it or anything...
But right now I have been wearing up in a ponytail with my bangs curled, everyday... I am growing it out so that is all one length and down a few inches past my shoulders and then I am getting my first perm... That way it will be so easy to fix... Right now its takes about an hour to straighten and I don't have that much time before school so I have just been putting up.

Sort of messy, sometimes naturally spiky-ish, but I normally keep it regular length for a guy. Not long, not short...somewhere directly in the middle. I don't use products in it either.

I have pretty decent hair. I can grow it long and style it just about any way that I want. Of course, I am lazy about that. I generally keep it short enough that I don't need to comb it, but I can still make it look good if I need to.

Style: Pretty boring. My hair is pretty long and is layered, but not very obviously. I straighten it when I can be bothered because, though it is naturally straight at the front, the back is all wavy and there are little curls in the layers underneath, urgh. I never wear it up. Ever. Sometimes I wear a headband to keep it out of my face.

Colour: My hair is naturally blonde, but it's a kind of dark blonde. Not very nice at all. I'd love to dye it but after my sister's horrible experiences with that I think I'll wait a bit longer. Plus, my mum would kill me.

Fringe: I do have a kind of fringe; it's not very obvious now but it goes to the side of my face. I used to have a full on fringe but it was awful and I'm so glad it's grown out.

I plan on getting my hair cut over the coming holidays; yay! I want it shorter so it's easier to brush, straighten and deal with!!

Style: Shoulder-ish length and layered. It has to be layered because of how thick my hair is! I hate that part and the fact that it's really frizzy here in dry Colorado. It's a nightmare when I go to see my family in Kansas!

Color: Well it used to be more blonde but now it is well my friend says it's a light golden brown. I've never dyed my hair though mostly because I love the color!

Fringe: nope!

I have very short hair. Kind of like boy-short. But it's very very whispy and feminine. It's black (I'm spanish) and all natural! I like to wear it sort of messy - but cute messy. haha.

Well I have shoulder length brown hair. It has a slight tint of red in it when the sun hits it the right way. You can also see a little blonde form when I dyed in a couple years back. I have layers, and also a shorter piece of hair that comes down in front of my left eye when I don't have my bangs pinned back.

I have layered light brown hair. Its medium length and I like it. I dont wear it down that much because it takes a lot of work to straighten it but, when I do wear it down I like it.

I have very straight hair that almost reaches my eyes from the front but from the back is not long at all and is a normal length for boys. I sometimes leave my hair as it is and don't brush it -I just push it back with my hands. Other times I brush it back but that is only possible when it is wet.

I have dark brown hair. It is a medium length for boys, although it is kind of long from the front. I do not brush my hair unless it is a rare occasion, so i guess my hairstyle is messy hair. Anyway i really don't care about my hair.

Hmm...my hair's really thick. I recently got it cut and thinned it out...so it's better now. It's a bit past my shoulders. Err...brown, but I get these natural highlights that everyone seems to like. I dunno.
I usually wear it up because it gets in my way when it's down. I rarely straighten it because I am proud of the fact I don't have split ends. It looks alright when I curl it...which I also rarely do. But it's been curling itself lately. Hmm...I like it.

Colour: My hair is a light (ish) brown but I have faded blonde highlights (they need redoing :lol) all over.
Fringe My fringe is a side fringe which is close to falling over my left eye.

My hair is very long, it's halfway down my back and it's very layered. It's naturally blonde with blonde highlights and I have bangs. I'm always asked if it's a weave though, haha. It's not. It's 100% real. I don't believe in weaves.

My hair. Black (natural, natural!). A little above the shoulders. Straightish. Hangs in curtains. Yes, I do bear an uncanny resemblance to Professor Snape with my hair down (it even goes slightly flicky down the bottom like his - the layering (what layering???) is the same as well. Very interesting). With it up, I look like Moaning Myrtle without the glasses apparently. Tough choice, I know. I haven't had it cut in ages, and I'm desperately looking around for a nice style to run to my hairdresser with. Wish me luck.

Blonde with natural highlights, people ask me all the time about the highlights . It's usually very thick, but I get it thinned out so I can do something with it. It's also layered, to help with the thickness. I also have long bangs which desperately need a trim. It's about shoulder length. It's naturally wavy, though I either straighten it or curl it, depending on my mood. I also just throw it up when I don't feel like working with it, which is often. As an example, my hair is somewhat like, this.

My hair... well, just like Lauren's, is naturally wavy, which is a huge problem for me, because since it is thin (unlike Lauren's), and I live in the tropics (it's very very humid here), it's as untamable as Hermione's (from the book, of course). It's auburn, a color I very much like, and I wear not too short bangs. It's long, almost to my mid back.

I actually took the picture of Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada (look here!) to my hairdresser and got the exact same hair cut, even in the length. The look lasted until I washed it. Now the waves are back and I can't tame them. It doesn't matter how much I try it, the wind and the moisture make them come back.

So, I've had to learn to live with it, and now I'm a proud "Hermione in the PS/SS Movie" girl (unless I blow dry and flat iron it to straighten it up... Hahaha!) and most of the time I wear my waves proudly with lost of mousse on to keep them in place!

Well, I have straight black hair...and it is very thick...it gets wavy sometimes, I mean, it isn't wavy but it isn't completely straight either...It is layered, although, I need to layer it again because it has grown a lot!!!

My whole life I've had short hair, but now, it is very long...It has costed me a lot to keep it like this, and I love it! It's on my mid back and I'm not cutting it until it reaches my butt...then I'll donate it to those places where they do wigs for children with cancer, and I'll get short hair once again..

Since I live in a humid area, it tends to get freezy and kinda bushy, so I only wear it loose when it is blown dry or ironed (I always use my hair straightner for parties and stuff)...then I usually braid it, or do different kinds of ponytails

I've got red hair, natural. It's kinda long; a bit over my shoulders. It's not curly, but not straid [straight?] either. It's somewhere between.

I've got long blodey-brown, kind of golden hair. It normally goes wavy and gets itself into a few loopy ringlets along with the waves. Its even wavier/curlier once it gets wet, or if I've been walking in the wind. I do have a side fringe(over the right side of my face), but I mostly keep it clipped back on top of my head (you may have to see it to know what i mean), because it normally makes a funny curl straight across my eye, and it's annoying!

My hair is just plain brown, wavy (and sometimes bushy looking) and really really thick. Just about half way down my back and I have a sweep bang. I never take the time to do anything special with my hair. I just leave it down.

You want to know what my hairstyle is like? Like "I really need to make an appointment at the hairdresser's"

I have the layered style. My hair goes down to just below my shoulder blades. It's a dark brown on the surface but under that is a black. I normally keep it up, cause it is so thick and I get so selfconcious about it.....

That's like exactly the same as my hair...its a light-ish red but its getting darker. I have a side fringe with is in desperate need of a trim. My hair's really thin and is meant to be layered but the layers have kinda grown out. I curl it or straighten depending on what i feel like.

My hair used to be blond, but I dyed it reddish-brown ages ago and it's just down past my shoulders, and layered. I don't have a fringe cos I look proper dodgy with one, but I have the front feathered around my face, and I quite like it this way. I'm trying to grow it, but so far I've been unsuccessful!

My hair isn't curly, it isn't straight, and it isn't wavy it's just wild! Unless I tame it with some straighteners (which I do, almost every day) or tie it back, it looks like a bush, but not in a frizzy way - it's just cos I have so many layers they just all stick out! I usually wear it down and straight, but if I can't be bothered to straighten it, it's up in a clip!

Ooh... hair... well, my hair is just sort of... hairy.

Okay, I've got lightish blond hair that isn't super-straight, but it's definitely not curly/wavy. I don't fuss a lot with it, there's a little bit of angle in the front, but not quite layers. It's about an inch or two past my shoulders... can't have it much longer, because my hair is sort of thin. And I have a huge fear of frying my hair out or something... so I've never used a straightener. I'm sure it would be fine to use, but I don't have that much time anyways! Usually I just ball it up on top of my head or let it hang straight.

I know a lot of girls are quite obsessed with their hair, but not me! Thank goodness, I've got better things to worry about. And yet I'm still telling you all what my hair looks like... hmm...

My hair is really boring and plain. It is basically dark brown and almost completely straight. Except when I wash it, it gets wavy-ish, but then I brush it and it's straight again. In the light, it sometimes looks like I have red highlight, but I don't. I have side bangs, but the hair dresser cut them too long. Normally, I wear my hair in a ponytail, but lately it hasn't been cooperateing so I've been wearing it down.

emma_weasley - don't complain about having straight hair! I'd kill for mine to be poker straight!! I have to straighten mine most days and it really annoys me.

I'm not a sad chav who obbsesses over my hair by the way ... far from it, in fact. I just don't like leaving the house with a bush for hair. NOT attractive.

Okay, remember when I said that my hair was horrible and it hung in curtains and that I looked like Snape? I've had it cut!! It's still about the same length, same colour etc but it has layers! I know! It's even got a little side-fringe thing. I look like a cross between an emo and a hippy. I call it my hemo look. It has an emo fringe, but not many emo's have fluffy hair, so that's where the hippy thing comes in. It sounds like a shockingly awful haircut, but it isn't! It's the best one I've had in years! I don't feel like an unattractive git everytime I walk out the door. It's fantastic...

Well my hair is straight but to be honest I'd rather have wavy or curly hair, it would be more interesting I think. My hair is reeeaally long at the moment, I'm thinking of having it cut shorter.
It's also too light for me - I keep having it dyed darker and darker brown but it always lightnes up! Grr

I just cut my hair about 3 weeks ago and i cut it really short. It is a little below my chin and there are layers everywhere and the layers are really short. I love it, but sometimes its a hassle when i cant just throw it back in a ponytail or anything lol. My hair is super straight, but it kinda curves in a little.

My hair is naturally blonde but its probably gunna be light brown by the time im older . I like my hair blonde. lol (btw, i have nothing against brown hair, i just want mine to be blonde ) I have never dyed my hair. or highlighted it.
