did you ever get hurt? well, i bet everyone did, atleast once in your lifetime...but i'm not saying it has to be serious - like burns or major bruises...i'm saying anything applies here! talk about the time you clipped your nail too much and it hurt. Or say how annoying it is every time you accidentally bite the inside of your cheek and it HURTS!!!
i'll tell you, it ANNOYS me SO much when i hit my toe against something and it KILLS!!! also i had once burnt my right foot...and guess how it happened??? HOT SOUP!! really! this guy spilled HOT soup on me and i got a scald on my right foot...it happened when i was like, 2 or something...i still have a wrinkled, lumpy-at-places skin on my foot...it doesnt hurt or anything, its just a bunch of scars!

Hi chocobeer!!
I don't bite my cheeks while chewing, only the tongue. It hurts so much!!.Once I bite it so hard that it started to bleed!!.Very Annoying. The other one is that, when someone pushes me or like gives me a hit on my back,I tend to fall.(Maybe I'm too weak!)I get injuries mostly in that way!.

pff well the worst injurie i've had so far was caused by my sister, we were fighting over a teddy bear (oo yeah and i was 4 and she was 7) and suddenly we started a sort of tug-a-war with the bear and she just let go because i screamed "give it to me!" and so she did and i hit my head with the corner of the wall and there was blood every where

, now i find that funny but at the moment it was not funny at all, i had to get stitches (sp?) on my head

not very pleasent specially when you're 4
and the most recent was caused, again, by my sister (shew just loves hurting me doesn't she

), i was on the hood of the car and i told her "ok go" so she turned on the car and she had this evil grin on her face sort of like "i'm going to drive really fast and turn at high speed", and she eventually did

so she made the turn at high speed and fell and hit my head (again) but this time i was quick enough to put my left arm and leg first so the impact wouldn't hurt me as much, so i fell and i was sort of dizzy and i was acting like if i was on drugs, o yeah and i had a concusion so no sleep for me, but eventually i got better

and there you have it jeeze i should write a book

I hate the toe thing too, it kills! I don't have a very high threshold for pain...I broke my wrist once but that was years ago, it was more pain than I'd ever felt. If anyone else has broken a bone you know what I mean. Stung by a bee once too haha, I accidentally stood on it...
Hmm, a not serious one is when I was trying to open a bottle of ale for my friend with a key (don't ask why!) and cut my hand about eight times with it before actually succeeding. I'm sorry if I don't carry bottle openers everywhere I go...but yeah it hurt.

And you kept going?!

But yeah, makeshift bottle openers are usually painful.
The most painful experience I had... hmm. I broke my wrist too when I was 10. I fell on the tennis court and it folded double too far. I was sitting on my knees on a skateboard once, flying down the street and fell off. Skidded in superman fashion across the tar. Knees and elbows. Egh. Fell out of a tree once, got stitches at 4 too. (I know how you feel Andy! Mine was on my forehead. I had tried to jump over a coffee table and my foot got caught). Got my head hit a few times in hockey games (girls who swing and miss are not good to have around).
For all the blood and guts I saw as a kid, I'm sure rather iffy about seeing blood now. I had to treat my brother's foot once when my mum was overseas, and I think that did it. Ergh.
This sure is a gory thread.

Cruciatus_Andy's story reminded me quite a few stories actually...my elder sister and my cousin were studying together...and they were little around the same age Andy mentioned really...my sister was about 7 and my cousin was around 4...they started fighting over the sharp pencil...and my cousin actually pulled it away! even then, he wasnt happy...so, to make sure his enemy never returns, lol, he stabbed the pencil into my sister's arm
...it used to hurt then, but now (no one took out the pencil lead that got in) its just a turpuoise spot...my dad wants her to remove it soon...
and the other story i remembered is when me and my other cousin ( yes, yes, i have evil cousins
) were playing Lego...they're plastic building blocks, for those of you who dont know...anyway, so we kinda did the same thing...tugging away at a single block, until he grabbed another one and struck my forehead
...anyway, it wasnt that bad...but hey, come to think of it, he should've struck my forehead harder...then i'd probably end up with a scar on my head just like HARRY!!!
trust me, Harry wasnt even born then...

I have a disorder that makes it easier than normal for me to dislocate joints. I have dislocated each of my shoulders about 6 times, my ribs (yes, you can dislocate ribs) I don't know how many times, and other random joints. It's really painful, as anyone who has dislocated anything can tell you.
I'm sure that counts as a injury

I hate it too when i bite my cheek or my tongue. People say that when that happens to you, someone is saying bad things about you...
I have never had a serious injury. Well i have a scar at my right leg, it was kind of horrible when i got it by i was little so, i don't remember the pain. And also, once i tried opening a door, and somehow my finger got stuck at it. That was so ewww since all of my skin was deeply scratched, i could almost see the bone. Yeah, that was horrible. And plus, i got yelled for it though it wasn't my fault..

Haha, well the reason I kept going was because I didn't actually realise the damage I was causing until I looked at it and realised it was bleeding. Had the scars for months! Isn't it strange how with some injuries you don't even feel it until later and it's really painful? Like when I broke my wrist I just got up and carried on running, it wasn't until when I sat down that I felt anything. It's odd.

I have an injury that I don't remember, not the bad type, I was too young. Well my mom told me that when I was very young I was bit by my grandpa's dog, right across the cheek; from what she says there were great amounts of blood.
I also broke my toe slipping going down the stairs.
But one of the most painful injuries that I've ever had, had me rolling on the ground for 20 minutes. A dead on shot below the belt, if you catch my drift...

I have never had surgery, stitches, or broken a bone! Most people find that surprising with how much of a clutz I am. My mom calls me an accident waiting to happen.
I have gotten several cat, ferret, and dog scratches. I have bruised my tailbone twice. I've jammed several toes, and stepped on things like nails many times. My one really bad one was on my knee, during a play. There was this track for a moving cart to move on on the stage, and it was sticking up. In the dance I was doing, I slid on one knee right onto the track, and it cut my knee open. But thankfully no stiches were needed.

I also just trip! Hit my head, and slam my fingers. I almost fell off a luch table and was pulled up by my hair from my friend!

That's realy all, nothing serious!

I have bad knees, I danced for 11 years and it did alot of damage to my knees, not to mention in track i did hurdles. I've also hurt my neck muscle from swimming the butterfly. I have had stiches in my chin(flipped over my handles on my bike going down a hill) and on my right hand index finger I got cut, I don't remember how. I also have many scars from my falling. What can I say I'm accidentprone!!

I'm very good at hitting my toe against edges or chairs or whatever comes in my way. I never had something big like a broken leg or arm, I only have three broken fingers (sports) and a scar in my right eyebrow, because I was making fun while sitting on a chair and of course I fell down. Yet this happened a long time ago, so I don't really remember the pain. I guess I must have been crying like anything.

Um, well, I've had my share of injuries, believe me!
I fell off a roof and landed on my feet, breaking one. I walk into walls at least sixteen times a day. I completely shattered my tailbone. I never got that one fixed. I got attacked by a squirrel that had a nest nearby. I got an injury from a banana and had to have stitches. I got locked in a dishwasher and it HURT very badly.
Yeah, I'm accident prone.

I also fell on the hardwood kitchen floor twice today! Lol. I am such a clutz. But I also have a bad knee.

It hurts when I sleep with it bent. I fall on the stairs numerous times! Once I was carrying a plate of food.... What a mess that was. I also triped, and was holding onto the rail, and slid down a few stairs still holding onto the rail. In an effort to stop, I swung myself around, and banged my nos on the wall. It hurt my arm. Then another time, I slipped on the hardwood stairs, and slid down the last few on my side... I am so acciddent prone. Mainly tripping and stubbing toes.

I've never broken anything but I always seem to wake up with a new cut, literally.
Also, one time I was on a miniramp in my backyard messing with a skateboard tied to a string, when I just pulled back too hard on the string and fell flat on my back. The ramp was like 4', but when I fell, I fell on jacked up asphalt. I couldn't even sit down without my tailbone hurting.
Later I realized that if I had fallen a couple of inches over, I would have fallen on to a jagged asphalt rock, now that would of hurt REAL bad.

Ahh! I get hurt quite a bit in the kitchen!
Once there was a long serinated knife. I was doing the dishes before s chool dance. The knife was slid partly under a cookie jar, but I didn't notice. I kept trying to shove it away, but it was caught underneath the jar. Instead of the knife moving, my hand slid up the knife, and I cut the side of my index finger really badly. We didn't have band-aids, so I had to go to the dance, but the cut had stopped bleeding. When I got into the car with my friend, it started bleeding. It was a halloween dance, so she thought it was a fake finger, then when I convinced her it wasn't she thought it was ketchup. Finally she realised it wasa real, but she didn't have any bandaids. I went to the assistant principal at school who finally got me one...
Another time, It was the middle of summer, and I was standing on the porch, with clogs on, and my dogs leash in my hand. There are about five steps leading from the porch to the cememt sidewalk. Another dog walked by, and my dog immeaditly tried to go after it. He is a big 80 lb lab. So while I was holdng his leash and not expecting it, having not seen the dog. He jumped over the steps, and onto the cement to chase the other dog. I flew completely over the steps, and landed flat on my stomach on the cement. I had let go of the leash in the air, so my dog was chasing the other dog. My mom, brothers, and frined were all starig at me laying there. But I, after a few seconds jumped up, and yelled 'I'm Ok!' and ran after my dog. Lolz! I laugh so hard about that now. I also never war clogs while walking my dog, and am very catious walking down the steps!

good thread. I have had dozens of injuries, and one recent, now I am in an arm cast. Over the past 7 years I have dislocated an ankle, fractured an ankle, dislocated my shoulder, dislocated my arm, broken most of my fingers, broken my wrist, and now I just recently tore 2 ligaments in that same wrist. I had surgery two years ago and they put a screw in to hold the bone together. Now I might have to have another surgury so they can regraph ligaments into my wrist. SUCKS Some people believe I am lying, but man do I always get hurt.

Ok so let's see at the age of 3 I rode down five steps fell onto my chin and got 5 stitches. When I was 11 I nearly gut my whole finger of just because I wanted a homemade bowand arrow set. Broke both my pinkies, my mom drove over my right big toe when I was 12, and friday at a friends party I went to go get some drinks and hit my toe against the barstool (after the one chick stepped on it when we were dancing with high heels) and broke it again.

My dad dislocated his sholder for the fourth time 2 weeks ago! He was cleaning up water from the floor!

The first time he fell when he was building our giant deck (his idea) and hit his sholder on the pool side. The 2nd time he was jumproping! Seriously! I guess it gets more fragile after you break it. Anyway he also dislocated it on the 4th of July. (He fell on our globe and crushed Asia) Then 2 weeks ago he was wiping up a spill at work and it just popped out!

Now he's gonna get surgery so it won't be soooo fragile!
Now for my injures! I was bike riding with my friend Matt and we were going down a big hill reallly fast. Instead of going straight like I normally do I decided to try to make a sharp turn onto the other street. Well I could'nt do it. I completly missed the turn and flung into the woods!

My bike got all messed up and I flipped over.
I also had another accident when I was little. Me and my cousin decided to have a race at the resturnant Tortia Flats whoever hid the railing first won. Well I hit the railing all right! I pushed up agianest it and the railing fell forward (so did I) Luckly I didn't hit my head on the concret side! My cousin started crying. But we laughed about it later.
When I was a baby my dad was giving me a ride in my sled in the backyard. He took a fast sharp turn and I tumbled off! I also fell down the stairs twice, had a action figure stab me in the mouth, and walk into a glass door, (my whole families done that)! My mom dislocated her finger and I accidently kicked her in the head with a punching bag I got for Christmas, like 7 years ago. My dad recorded it and we watched in later in slow motion. It was HILARIOUS! My mom trips alot too, one time she tripped over a wire and skid across the carpet. My meme (grandma) fell down at Christmas this year when she was getting a present. Me and my cousin coundn't help but laugh! I guess my families just accident prone!

I have been really lucky in life when it comes to injuries (at least from my own stupidity

).
I twisted my ankle once slipping on ice. Had to go around on crutches for a few day.
Other than that, I broke both of my big toes! One was when I was doing a back handspring barefoot on a concrete slab. My toe came in contact with the slab perpendicularly and everyone heard it crack when it broke. I will say that stubbing it into the ground 3 days later hurt a hundred times worse than actually breaking it.
I broke the other big toe doing martial arts. We were sparring when I came in for a kick. However, when I came back down from the kick, somehow I didn't have my foot angled right and cracked my toe into the floor. I kept right on sparring. It wasn't until later that I realized it was swelling and turning purple. Needless to say I had to lay off of sparring for a month or so. It took about a year to completely heal because of a chip of the bone with ligament attacked had broken away from the rest.
That's it for my self inflicted injuries. Like I said, I've been pretty lucky. (Knock on wood!

)

I have had quite a few injuries. When I was around ten I snapped my collar bone in half as I was chasing someone in a game and they turned around. I tried to copy him and spun 180 degrees on the spot and in the process I lost my balance and fell on my shoulder which snapped my collar bone in half. This was really bad as it kept me out of physical activities for three whole months!!
Another injury I got recently but don't exactly know how was that I damaged the ligaments in my pinky on my right hand. It used to hurt whenever I would touch something and now my finger in crooked!

Oh, I've been inujured way too many times to count! I'm a dancer so I bascially get all bloodied up everytime I go to practice! Bruises when you dance are really bad. My waist and shoulders are always purple. Like a lot of dancers, my knee is really horrible. It pops out all the time. My hip popped out last month and didn't fix for a week. That sucked. My ankles are constantly getting sprained - hence the reason why I have a doctor's note not to do tap or step anymore.
Other than that ... I haven't ever been seriously injured. Unless you count lung complications ... ? I guess that's not injury... lol.

Okay, I was in detention 2 years ago and the desks' had blocked me in on all sides, so I decided to get fancy and hop over the desk. Well 1 desk didn't have front legs so that desk went down and I flipped over it and grazed my arm, my ribs (both of which didn't leave any sign of injury) and my shin. Well, my shin got the most of it, you could see the bone. I almost had to have stiches, but I didn't

. The scar is starting to fade, or maybe it's my imagination....
I was also playing flag football in P.E. and I was within inches of pulling off the dudes flag when someone tripped me (coincidentally, my best friend, on accident of course) so I went down, hit my head and passed out for a few seconds... not really an injury cause I felt fine.

I recently suffered yet another injury from dancing.

Big surprise there, eh?! Hehe. I was doing a little bit of step - which I know I'm not supposed to be doing because I've had problems like this in the past - and I completely took my ankle out. I collapsed right then and there. It's happened before, though. So my doctor and physiotherapist was not at all pleased to hear what I had been doing. Oh well .. my bad. Can't say I didn't have a warning! Hehe. Bad Marie-Helena, Bad!

Ive had my fair share of injuries when I was two I ran into a wall while playing hide and seek and knocked myself unconscious, when I was three my brothers slammed my finger in a door and it had to be sewed back on because it fell off completely. Another injury ive had was when I was about 7 or 8 my brother slammed my toe in his door and I played soccer the next day with a broken toe (my brothers seem to cause quite a few of my injuries dont they) and about 2 years after that I broke my wrist in an indoor American soccer game. Last year I sprained my ankle quite badly playing basketball and have had to wear ankle braces in every sport ever since. Most recently I pulled something in my arm and its been hurting for about 2 months but I havent seen the doctor about to see what I actually did to it.
o yeah two more one I didnt get hurt that bad in but I easily could have. this was when I was like in kinderarten I was riding my bike down a really steep hill in my neighboorhodd with one of my friends and I went and when I tried to stop I found my brakes werent working and I hit the curb and flipped over my handlebars and cracked my helmet my helmet saved my life basically and I left with just a couple of scrapes here in there and blood all over my knees but it could have been worse. Another time when I was about nine me and two friends were going down the same hill this time on scoters and purposely crashing into someones front lawn at the bottom of the hill. It was my turn so I went down and at the bottom crashed into the ladys lawn but I landed hard and ended up bruising my ribs and it made my asthma flare up quite badly but I was okay.

Well to be honest I have never sprained, fractured or broke any bone in my birthday. The worst injury I have ever had wasn’t that bad...I whacked my little toe on the wood bottom of the sofa and well...the next day I couldn’t walk. I went to hospital and they told me it was very, very, very, badly bruised on the bone so that explained why it killed to put pressure on it for at least 4 days. Other then that my injuries have been minor like paper cuts, bash on the head with a football, scratches, trapped fingers in doors and glass in foot when I was two. That it really

I suppose I’m quite lucky...
